901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to receive a donation in bitcoins? on: September 04, 2019, 02:22:08 PM
There is no lending without collateral, the better choice is to find some other sources to make some stability in life. No one is gonna lend or donate bitcoin, also according to the forum rules requesting some donations weren't allowed. If you're skilled enough you could broadcast your services and get paid in bitcoin.
902  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Fiat to your bank account or gift card to buy things on Amazon? on: September 03, 2019, 07:48:11 PM
You could also add few cryptocurrencies to the list. If that's possible surely they'll pick the cryptocurrency option. Even I came across a video where a person giveaway few dollars and ask the person how would he like to receive it. Whether in the form of cryptocurrency or fiat currency. Majority of the people prefer cryptocurrency. Here is the link of that particular video which is quite interesting to watch.

903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: September 03, 2019, 06:44:05 PM
Main fact to avoid KYC in crypto games would be country restrictions. Because some countries doesn't support crypto games and users could not play directly without VPN. So gamblers couldn't submit KYC on that situation. Also no one will encourage to expose his identity just for play since there is so many gambling site those are not asking for KYC. Crypto it self is anonymous so obviously gamblers would like to saty anonymous.
Very few gambling websites work through VPN. These days majority of the gambling websites with cryptocurrency acceptance doesn't request for the KYC. In few sites there is limited access when you play without KYC and full access after fulfilling the KYC. Most of the gamblers prefer cryptocurrency usage on gambling to have their identity hidden from the outer world.
904  Economy / Economics / Re: Indian Economy rising at slowest pace - Should they consider Crypto-currency? on: September 03, 2019, 06:25:15 PM
When we talk about India, the economy rise at a slower pace is mainly due to political failure. Each and every scheme or taxation plans have never been discussed or surveyed before it is implemented. Maybe this will get good economic growth in the long term. When we focus for long term we need to be prepared to meet the immediate impacts. This is never done, but after implementing they keep on modifying. This is not fair and that is the perfect reason for economy slow down in India.

Now to withstand the present situation the government have taken fund from the reserve which was saved for years. Till date that's the one that kept the economy of India high.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 02, 2019, 02:28:43 PM
Windies need 3 big innings to pull this off. If they win then will criticise virat Kohli's decision Grin and more importantly every one will go gaga ( including me ) and say finally cricket won.
I agree. Kohli has done an amazing job thus far and I don't really care about small stuff like follow on etc. He must have carefully thought about it which is why it is best to trust his judgement.

But adding only 168 and then to declare did not make sense to me. Was he worried about not getting much time to all out WI 2nd innings, or he was worried that rain could interrupt the match?
Do you guys actually think that West Indies can actually pull this off just like England? I don't get why people tend to focus on the pointless stuff like follow on etc when India has pretty much wrapped this up. My guess is that West Indies will wrap up their innings within 150.

It is a big target for West Indies to defend, also it is important to think about the day at which match is being played. West Indies too performs good, and a strong partnership could change the match. Though there is no one to stand big partnership this time West Indies will surely score above 250 runs.
906  Economy / Economics / Re: WHY 21 MILLION BITCOIN CANNOT SERVE THE WHOLE WORLD on: September 02, 2019, 11:59:14 AM
With comparison to the population over the entire world it is completely impossible to make it get supplied to the entire population if there a massive adoption throughout the world. By that time surely the price of bitcoin will increase, and maybe a Satoshi will get termed to be a bitcoin.

In this time we were supposed to think of providing value, we cannot value an asset beyond its purpose. When something is manipulated and given value it easily fails.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: September 02, 2019, 03:42:15 AM
The house will be the real winner in gambling, and no one will doubt that. They don't have to play gambling, and they only watch in every gambling table, and the money will come to them directly. That's why their business become bigger from time to time.

The greediness will make the gambler always lose the money in the gambling table because most of them are not realizing about the risk of playing gambling. Although the gambler realizes the risk, the gambler still playing gambling no matter if they still lose. They need to control the emotion that can prevent them for another loss.
Well, that is how gambling system works. The house always win that is there is no casinos that are closing out because of bankruptcy Cheesy.

Gamblers tend to be greedy either they win or lose for some reasons and this is the attitude that they must remove. Gambler knows the risk but they don't care as long as they gamble. They gamble either to have fun or to have quick money but the end result will be only one. Loss.

The casino can use the greediness of the gamblers to get them back to the games so they will play more gambling games and spend more money Grin

Gamblers will forget about their loss in the next games because of their greediness will telling them that in the next round, they will win. But the reality, they will difficult to get the win on another game because gambling game is not given a chance to them to win. So the greediness is something that we should aware and stay away.
Very few get into gambling out of greed, but majority of the users who suffer are the one who try to recover back the loss that's been experienced earlier. Sometimes it feels like we don't want any additional money, just the money that's been spend. In the event of trying for the same loss will be the end result.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: crypto and gold on: August 29, 2019, 01:21:59 PM
Cryptocurrency and gold were entire different by the way it has got its usage, the existence, the liquidity, the trust, the markets and various other factors. Both always gets compared which is upon the growth and the profit it provides against each other. Gold gained its value through its years of history, while bitcoin has got its value through the demand to the supply availability that is run through the technology. In my personal opinion Gold is for users who wish to be on the safer side with their investment giving small profits, and bitcoin is for users who have the ability to take risk and expect large scale growth on their portfolio.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: August 29, 2019, 12:23:13 PM
Though there's a very low chance to win in lottery many people still prefer it because of the high profit if ever you hit the jackpot.

Plus the amount you spend for buying a ticket is low its a good thing for ordinary people because they can afford it.

Well we have different preference when it comes to gambling so we have our own reason why we chose the game even its impossible to win.
I actually quit Lottery some time ago because it's almost impossible to win, how can one person choose 5 numbers between 1-90 and expect to get it right, its almost impossible, thats why i switched to soccer betting because with that at least there are some trends if you look closely.
Its more on luck. I have an aunt who regularly gamble in lottery and her way to chose a number is from her lucky numbers for the day that she got from her daily horoscope reading.

It sounds funny but she never lose hope that she might win. Well her family is well-off so I think its not a problem if she spend few dollars often.
What she does is something similar to the belief of superstitious act with gambling. Lottery is completely of luck, and this happens with an user in a single day or it could happen after long years of continued practice. Everyone cannot win, but this gives hope and very few spend big into lotteries while majority spend a small amount regularly without any impact being felt on the living because of that small spending.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People who gamble are degenerates, change my mind. on: August 29, 2019, 11:39:21 AM
This kind of activity need to be stopped, because early days of addiction will ruin their life and make them miss the teenage days which is the most important days. Mexico is already suffering from different economic and political issues, now this will once again make the country not to progress good competing the neighboring countries.
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / In what way bitcoin gets increased usage? on: August 27, 2019, 02:21:37 PM
Already this might have discussed. The growth of bitcoin as well other digital currencies keeps progressing with time. By the time common people too have begun to use cryptocurrencies on their daily life. Compared to the fiat usage, common people using cryptocurrencies were low. When the usage increases what will be the preference of common people. Whether it gets used as investment, gambling asset, trading asset, alternate payment, darkweb usage source.
912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free Fixed Match - 200% Fixed, Maxbet - Insider info on: August 27, 2019, 11:13:32 AM
The Game Is Live
Philippines Mpbl Basketball
Currently Half time break
Score now is 24:44
Bet over 152.5

It's 200% Fixed
Maxbet

The match is fixed. Does it mean match fixing with the results being decided prior to the match. Be clear with the statement, because you have provided with a bet data between two teams as well suggested for an odd 152.5, also mention the particular gambling website in which MPBL Basketball is added. Because different gambling sites have different odds on their own calculations.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What withdrawal fee do you consider as fair in gambling sites? on: August 26, 2019, 06:36:08 PM
Upto 0.0002btc seems to be a fair amount for withdrawal. These days most of the gambling websites aren't charging any big fees on withdrawal. Most of the time before withdrawing funds I used to go for a roll on dice or other games to compensate my withdrawal fee.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guys started to gambling with cryptos or fiat money? on: August 26, 2019, 05:43:20 PM

915  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin really be a safe haven? on: August 26, 2019, 04:51:56 PM
Not sure what banks you're using, but my bank doesn't sell gold.
Definitely no bank in my country sells gold.  That's kind of become a thing of the past--many years ago you could trade in gold certificates for gold coins in the US, but I think that's the last time retail banks ever dealt in gold.

Gold and silver have long been considered safe-haven assets, and there's no debate about that.  Metals tend to be much less volatile than stocks or other investments, and they're supposed to keep up with inflation (though that's questionable IMO).  Bitcoin is not even close to being a go-to investment when the economy goes on the roller coaster.  It's probably more volatile and more at risk of crashing than any stock index I know of.  If for some reason there's a global financial crisis, I highly doubt investors are going to be running for bitcoin.

Something is abrew, I think.  Gold and silver have gone up quite a bit in the past few weeks.  Silver was stuck at around $15 for a long time, and right now it's over $17/Oz.  It's still cheap, but it hasn't seen that much of a rise for quite a while.  Don't know exactly what's going to happen, but I bet the big-money investors are anticipating some sort of crisis.
In my country banks sell gold, but this is not given as physical commodity. A contract is written and the same is given as a proof for the investment. Bitcoin is truly the safe haven, and for years this is a proven fact and the same continues.

Gold keeps growing in value, and there is some fluctuations in the market value experienced over the past few days. This never going to be a same as bitcoin in terms of the volatility. The world market has been experiencing hard recession. Many countries experience the decline in the money value with reference to usd. Bitcoin is high riskier than these gold investment, but compared to its early days now bitcoin too gained importance to some extent as a safe haven of investment.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 23, 2019, 11:57:17 PM
I have known a person who live out of gambling as a profession. My mother's cousin is like that and he's always been going to casinos every night and come home with lots of money. I don't know what he did but one thing I know is he also let other gamblers loan money from him. Lucky enough to received lots of money if the owner of the casino visits and giving money to gamblers. This case is live casino and not online.
However in his case he is lucky to make a living out of gambling, following him don't make your mind think you could also be a gambler and earn a big sum of money. Your relation carries big sum of money and spends on the casino, rather than that I see him as a person lending money to the gambler and gets back with interest. Even with online gambling you'll get bonus or giveaway from owners. Even for that you need to be luck and should complete certain tasks.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what will happen if the ethereum price decline continues? on: August 22, 2019, 02:26:36 PM
Even now the growth has declined, but there is continued development. The competence that has increased over the entire cryptocurrency network has caused it fall to big projects. This doesn't mean it is gonna demise, more expectation is over the ethereum.

If there is continued drop in the price of ethereum surely we can more new comers to the cryptocurrency usage investing in large scale. Once it played a big role with its ERC-20 platform, and with more and more projects getting turned as a scam caused it fall. Now compared to bitcoin it is experiencing a very low growth percentage which will get equalized by the upcoming updates of 2020.
918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank account froze after selling btc (UK) on: August 22, 2019, 12:29:12 PM
I am selling BTC in localbitcoins for SEPA bank transfers and I never got any problems with my bank so far.
I'm expecting to have some issues in the future, but I'm not selling big amounts of btc.Maybe that's why I'm flying under the radars.I'm sorry about your issue,OP.I guess you will have to withdraw your money after the account is recovered and move to another bank.

Here there is difference between the way you make the trade and Op making the trade. Op has used the personal account with limits for large volume trades which means beyond the permitted amount of transaction a personal or a primary individual account can. For this one needs to have a registered business registered and connected to a business bank account. This will not limit you or hold the funds as it is particularly for large volume transactions and officially taxed funds.
919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Favorite Dice Game Platform on: August 21, 2019, 06:37:13 PM
In recent days large number of dice game platforms have come into usage. Each and every platform has got its uniqueness over the other, and different users have difference of opinion over different dice game platforms. Few of which came into usage over this year are
  • windice
  • Stake
  • CyberDice
  • wolfbet
  • playbetr
Among the above mention platforms I find Windice to be the one that is completely dedicated for dice. I prefer playing on Windice and stake which is the sibling of primedice which is one of the oldest dice game site available with cryptocurrency acceptance.
920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to Bring Water to Ethiopia on: August 21, 2019, 05:33:22 PM
I think we need to stop drawing water from under the ground, it is causing some major problems, and increasing desertification. The Chinese are starting to provide desalination plants, and this would seem to be a better solution. It provides a pretty marginal reduction in sea levels, but more importantly, it starts to replace the groundwater, and can lead to reforestation if managed correctly.
Throughout the world there is scarcity of water. Country's that have planned infrastructure for the rain water harvesting were the one that fulfills their needs unlike any climate change. The groundwater level keeps going down, but desalination can't be made effective in all the countries. In my country we've desalination plants, but lack of perfect infrastructure plan has caused scarcity of water as we haven't got regular rainfall percentage.
