9001  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: August 09, 2016, 02:22:01 PM
Greetings all. I'd like to know what you would do if your bitcoin did one of the following, as I am a little confused about what I'll do myself...

What would you do if:

Bitcoin hit $1,000,000:
Bitcoin hit  $1,000 again:
Bitcoin stayed where it was:
Bitcoin became worthless, or a few cents:
And which of these do you think is most probable?

Thanks for your opinions,

 -Lags

After 20 years bitcoin can dissapear. It pointless to say what would happend.

After 20 years the apocalypse might happen and there won`t be any people who use bitcoins. Grin

Bitcoin will hit 1M USD only if the US government replaces USD with bitcoin as the official currency.
9002  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why we must trust with bitcoin? on: August 09, 2016, 02:17:07 PM

I don`t understand what exactly are you trying to say or ask in your thread.

There`s no obligation to trust in bitcoin.Everyone is free to decide wether or not to trust bitcoin.

Learn english OP. Grin
9003  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does sending Bitcoins feel good? on: August 09, 2016, 05:44:14 AM
When sending out some Bitcoins from your wallet, does it feel good? Do you get a nice body high from it?

I only feel good when i receive bitcoins,i feel bad when i send them. Grin

I check my wallet every day.I`m afraid that someone could hack the wallet or the wallet will go offline.

Why are you asking this question OP?
9004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitfinex WEBSITE BACK TO LIFE on: August 09, 2016, 05:41:26 AM
If you have an account there check you balance now--do the refund you?

every company so-posed to have a backup of funds saved in the bank so to refund to customers if anything goes wrong (ESPECIALLY A FINANCIAL COMPANY)

IF THE BIZ WAS REGISTERED IN USA THE WILL NOT GO FREE

This is some great news.Hope that the bitcoin price will increase.

Although, i don`t expect bitfinex to refund their customers. They don`t have that money.

I don`t have a bitfinex balance so i don`t care anyway. Grin

9005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would U like to see Bitcoin implemented in Pokemon Go? on: August 09, 2016, 05:27:35 AM
Would u like it if Pokemon Go had Bitcoin implemented in it?

So u can go to some Pokespots and earn the Bitcoin?

Also trade some Pokkemons for some Bitcoin?

~CfA~

No.I`m not a Pokemon Go fan.

Maybe someone could invent a better game with bitcoins implemented.

Perhaps a more tactical game with more strategy.
9006  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have bitcoin AND debt? on: August 07, 2016, 06:36:22 AM
This is something I'm rather curious about. How many people here own coins but have plenty of debt too?

I'm not talking mortgages, you get somewhere to live and a free house at the end of it so that's very handy, but rather loans and credit to service as well as owning some Bitcoin.

If so, have you locked it away with the intention of never touching it no matter what happens or have you had to dip in to pay off some debt?

I have a student loan which i`m going to repay this month.

After August, i won`t have any debts. Grin

I will never use my bitcoin savings to pay off debts. Smiley
9007  Other / Off-topic / Re: What can i do with 3 Bitcoin? on: August 07, 2016, 06:32:09 AM
A friend of my want to give me 3BTC and he want me to pay him back 4BTC in 2month 7days but he asked me what will i do with it, how can i turn 3 bitcoin to 4 in 2 month 7days, what is the best investment that can give me good ROI in that short period

So please i ask for your advice

If you don`t know what to do with those bitcoins then why will you accept that loan?

There`s no such investment that will give high ROI in a short period of time without the risk of losing

everything. If you want to stay friends with that guy, just don`t accept that loan.
9008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: August 07, 2016, 06:27:03 AM
Gox
Cryptsy..

If you have most of your coins in Bitfinex.. there will be little mercy when they disappear.

I totally agree with you.Unfortunately some noobs make that mistake and regret after that.

When you invest there`s always a risk to lose 100% of your funds. It doesn`t matter if you lose them by

trading or they are stolen by some hacker.
9009  Economy / Economics / Re: Best time to hold other currencies aside from bitcoin on: August 06, 2016, 06:13:16 AM
Aside from bitcoin being the center of attention we must also include other cryptocurrency that the virtual economy has to offer.
Bitcoin before from less a dollar has shown a tremendous increase in price that goes up to 700$.

That potential is also potent to other currency. So it is best if we will not only focus on bitcoin but rather the whole cryptocurrency economy.

And what other cryptocurrency do you suggest?

Altcoins can`t beat bitcoin and only speculators use them.

I think that 95% of the entire cryptocurrency economy is presented by bitcoin and 5%-by altcoins.
9010  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $574.06 where are we heading to? on: August 06, 2016, 06:08:09 AM
Since this week i have been waiting for bitcoin price to go up so that i can sell and gain profit but not to avail

What are the factors that can make bitcoin rise?

will bitcoin Go down or up?

if  bitcoin goes down what are you planing to do?

and if it goes Up what will you do with your bitcoin?

Your answer is very needed here

Bitcoin price will rise again, but you have to be patient.

If btc price goes down,i won`t do anything with my bitcoins,i will hold them.

The panic around the Bitfinex hack will be over soon.
9011  Economy / Speculation / Re: Kim Dotcom Predict 2000$ per Bitcoin ??!! on: August 06, 2016, 06:05:37 AM
well at the end speculation is still speculation even it's come from popular person just like Kim Dotcom, but it could affect the people so it'll help ,but can't wait for his bitcache, just don't get arrested again lol

I agree,but 2000$ per bitcoin is way too optimistic,i think it`s impossible.

I still don`t know what is this bitcache?

Can someone explain it to me?
9012  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to buy shares on: August 05, 2016, 12:29:31 PM
Id like to invest my Bitcoin winnings and invest in shares that are listed on dow jones or nasdaq or any other exchange

Im primarily looking t invest in Marijuana related businesses aswell as in Tesla and Google

but i like to avoid the borker fees

is there a platform or something that lets me do that- if its not possible to avoid the broker fees than its cool too

Trade your bitcoins for fiat money and invest.

There`s no way to buy shares directly with bitcoins,i guess.

I don`t think that there`s a way to avoid broker fees. Sad
9013  Economy / Economics / Re: Next generation money on: August 05, 2016, 12:22:25 PM
The total majority of Bitcoin holders think of their favorite toy as the next step in the evolution of money (less so for active users). I don't deny the technological innovation in respect to the blockchain and the decentralized nature of how new money is created through mining. With that said, I still don't think that Bitcoin did actually revolutionize the concept of money itself. Gold as money existed long before fiat, and it was "created" in a decentralized way too, so nothing particularly new here as well...

I have an idea what could be an entirely new form of money (actually, it is not my idea), but first I would like to hear from you, guys (and gals), what you think about the truly new money that is yet to be invented or implemented

I think that there`s no need to revolutionize or invent brand new money.

Bitcoin is the future and it`s working great.

Why don`t you share your idea?

9014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC-E HACKED on: August 05, 2016, 07:46:02 AM
Tried to even do a password reset and that wouldn't work. Maybe they are in on it, who knows. Since I can't change my password or add 2FA I get an email address indicating the user signing in daily to make sure I have no funds in there. All I have is their IP address which is most likely not their real one. Be very careful if you have a balance there. Just trying to help.

Go ahead, try to do a password reset on your own and you'll see.

I don`t have an account there and i will never use it.

Maybe the problem is in your account only.

Have you asked customer support?
9015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Dump: I told you on July 3rd.... on: August 05, 2016, 07:43:49 AM
Excerpt from: no faith in bitcoin (ddos)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1536399.msg15458152

Just wait until the halving is over and everyone realizes (just like LTC halving) that all price movements happened before the halving.

Then all sorts of "ddos attacks" occur as traders that were hyping dump hard on the future bag holders.

They will use any excuse to mask the obvious runs on BTC.

And "ddos attacks" was sarcastically put in quotation marks for a reason.

Better rethink your positions....

I hope there`s no "ddos attack" against the wallet where i store my btc. Sad

I think that you might be right about that.

Unfortunately we can`t trust any website that accepts bitcoins.
9016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will regulation make bitcoin slower? on: August 04, 2016, 12:13:00 PM
PayPal is required to hold funds for 48 hours before auto-withdrawing it to receiver's account as per Central Bank's guidlines in my country.
If government regulates bitcoin, will it also become slower for government may ask online wallet and exchanges to hold bitcoin for some stipulated time?

Wow,i can withdraw my Paypal funds to my bank account for 5-7 business days. What is auto-withdrawing?

If the future maybe we will have to verify the sourse of our bitcoins. You will have to proove that the bitcoins

you are holding are earned in a  legal way.No money laundry and no scams...
9017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mixing / Swapping bitcoin on: August 04, 2016, 12:07:08 PM
I see some people talk about mixing bitcoins...why dont people just swap bitcoin? EG, Say I have 10BTC and I'll swap one of mine, for one of yours. I give you a wallet address to pay, you pay it, and provide a new address for your coin, which I then pay with one of mine.
Is that not a good way to make your bitcoins a little harder to track?

Actually i think that btc mixing IS swapping of bitcoins. There`s no difference,i guess...

Why are you asking this question OP?

I`m not sure how the mixing process works.

9018  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Skills listing for fiat to get BTC ? on: August 04, 2016, 12:02:09 PM

Hello,

All the time I read we have to be skilled in something to have the opportunity to buy BTC.
So what skills do you know we can sell to earn fiat, and then BTC ?
Preferably with a computer.Be creative and give details in your answers.
And try to be specific, yes we can be skilled with photoshop but for what ? Be specific, like wordpress themes etc...
The goal is to have a listing of these skills with details.

Web design, programming,SEO and backlink building. The list is endless.

Head over to fiverr.com and check out all the categories and all the gigs and you will find all the services that

have huge demand from the online businesses.

9019  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: August 04, 2016, 05:52:52 AM
Who in the world controls the bitcoin? I don't understand where it appeared and how it began to be one of the official currencies?
Who controls the course of Bitcoin?

The whole idea of bitcoin is NOBODY to control it.The currency should be fully decentralized and anonymous.

The bitcoin "course" is controled by supply and demand like every currency.

If you are asking who is holding the largest amount of btc,i don`t know...
9020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is fundamentally broken and unviable in current form on: August 04, 2016, 05:42:07 AM
The security breach at Bitfinex is just beyond the pale. No online wallets/businesses are trustworthy. I can't with a clear conscience recommend that anybody invest in or hold cryptocurrency until the community puts an end to the rampant theft.

I'm slow, and overdue, but now taking all my coins offline to a cold wallet, and not coming back until there is some fundamental change in security protocols, such that I will never risk suffering a 100% loss like some have experienced at Bitfinex. **I didn't have a btc balance at bfx at the time of hack, but I only got lucky.

There is no 100% security, even with a cold wallet.

Bitfinex`s weak defense is their own fault, this is not problem of the bitcoin community.

There are online btc businesses and wallets that ARE trustworthy.
