I am away from my rig, the girl friend has been checking on it
Tuesday morning she noted the miners were failing to connect. She rebooted and restarted the miners and they still would not connect. She has left them idling and 36 hours later no change, the box still has internet.
Any ideas??

Oh god, really? ...really?? 75 words in one sentence and I have to explain the pun...this place is going downhill I an unable to reply to this thread on the grounds that my reply might be construed as an implicit suggestion that the reader should adopt a similar course of action, which would be a clear violation of the "speculation Posting Guideline" as promulgated by the duly and lawfully appointed subforum moderator, as such silence with regard to my current bitcoin position would seem to be the most compliant course of action at this time.
You obviously didn't uderstand the rule. If this was the case there'd be no point in having a speculation forum. You can say whatever you want as long as you back your position with some reasoning other than scaring people into selling or buying just because you *think* so. A single unproved opinion isn't worthless but it's just one isolated imperical date, i.e. it is worth roughly 1/7trillionth of all opinions in the world. Unless you want everyone else to tell you their opinions you need to drop it. Since not everone is going to be able to respond to infamatory statements that "the price goes up! buy buy buy because I can feel it in my urine" it makes sense this rule exists.

I think censorship is bullshit.
I thought this was a forum for the free and open exchange of ideas, clearly this is not currently the case.
Perhaps we need a new forum, but I rather like this place and feel inclined to fight for it...ideas?

To complement the Forum moderation policy for Speculation, here is a guideline on which postings will not be tolerated.
On Market Manipulation: - Clear suggestions to market participants to take a particular course of action (e.g. "Buy now before the price goes to 5", "SELL quickly, the weekend is coming"
- Deliberate spreading of false or forged and deceptive information like faked charts
- Announcements to take a particular market action
On Unrelated Topics: - Discussion of exchanges and service providers usually belongs to Trading Discussion
- Scammer accusations also belong to Trading Discussion
As always, this is merely a list of typical situations to date, not a "fixed ruleset". sooooooo... ... what, exactly, are we supposed to post in the "speculation" subforum?? censorship = fail, let the reader beware

Price Stability is a myth. it will never happen. as long as the Fed has its fingers on the printing press this is what we get = Volatility.
So the Fed pays traders? Awesome! ZIRP bitchez
