Don't use the pool. Go to solo mining or wait until we have a p2pool up for CPR. This is a perfect coin for a P2P pool. I removed coinmine from the OP. I had over 4 mHash on it for about 24 hours which should have yielded roughly 40-50 full bars.

You created a coin where 70% of blocks are orphaned and as I said in PM to you - pool itself found 20000 blocks (till now 36000) so total CPRs till PM was 128 (now 230). Pool has an average hashrate 150MH and you are claiming with 4MH - 40 CPR? Kidding right? Nope, not kidding. I got nearly 20 today (with a much higher difficulty) solo mining for about 18 hours and got 0 from your pool yesterday when I spent a full 24 hours on it. You also told me in PM that my account never even reached 5 Bars over a 24 hour period with between 4 and 6 mhash lol I do appreciate you having the pools for both coins, but to lie right to me in a PM is shady as shit. Regardless if you are a supporter or not, you lied right to me. I will make my Bars off selling gold and silver with them, so it doesn't really matter that much to me about the coins. The thing that pisses me off is you saying that I didn't even reach 5 Bars in 24 hours when I'm 100% positive it was 40+. Can someone post CG miner settings for solo mining with, I mean what port and adress you type in
CGminer with plain scrypt will not work. You need a scrypt jane miner built specific to this coin. The only one I know of that works is the one feeleep hacked together from ybcminer. It is the only one I know that works and you will need to compile it on Linux yourself. CGMiner won't work, it's scrypt-jane There are links to GPU miners on the first page. The information you enter for your .bat to launch it should be similar to those that you use for CGMiner, though. The username and port need to match whatever you have in your .conf file in %appdata% |

I duno about pool OP i tried his YAC pool and had many rejects so i quit, here so far seams fine, but i can`t calculate the math of pool income and my shares... and i agree we need sacand pool asap

Right, but it's pointless when it's not paying out for shit and the guy is keeping the Bars. I agree, I had better results on the pool, too, but had 50 full bars kept by the pool op. Difficulty retargets every block
Every block? Wow, that crazy fast. I know the least about programming here but I do understand math pretty well and the retarget in my mind was to smooth out the difficulty level - to help stabilize the chain. If that's true (and that's why I chose 21 blocks) then there may be some inherent problems when it comes to mining the coin given its already such an ultra fast coin. There's some great programmers on here, like markM and TwoBits - from what I've see so far those two are the real deal. If this coin keeps getting that many orphans I would talk to one of them or any other coder with a good rep to see if it is the 16 seconds or the single block retarget. Cause if that's the case then you can fix it pretty easily. Good luck. i would suggest every 5 to 12 blocks, which would bring the diff closer to the 16 second targets, but thats just me. lets just say its an imperfect science. j coin is every 12 blocks and it hovers between 20 and 45 second block time on average, with a target of 30 seconds. i guess if spots is happy with things how they are then who are we as the peanut gallery to object? the high orphan rate causes chain problems but it does increase the rarity of these coins in the wild. i'm impartial at this point. So that is the cause of the orphan coins? Ok, cool, I'm glad to know my hunch was right. I agree, if that's part of his plan and miners continue mining, then having a coin that becomes more rare is a good thing. Personally, with such a fast 16 second coin I would go with at least a 12 block retarget if not 21. Either numher would keep it plenty fast while helping eliminate most orphaned coins. And I agree it's trial and error which is why new coins with bold founders who stray far from the norm is a really cool thing. I tried using very different numbers and parameters than any coin I saw but i was worried of goin faster than 70 seconds due to worries of instability so it takes some guts to change the numbers this much. But This is how you get to the perfect coin. Just stop. You have no idea what you're talking about. You don't start by saying "I have no clue what I'm talking about but" and then give your opinion.
