9041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Odds of finding a fellow bitcoiner. on: July 31, 2016, 06:19:40 AM
Just today, I was on the bus and I was fiddling with my OTG cable to send a transaction on my phone with my Ledger wallet. I looked to my right, and what where the odds? The guy next to me was doing the same! We started talking, and we just kept talking!

What are the odds of you meeting a bitcoiner IRL?

P.s. I was not taking into the window.

I can`t find any bitcoiner in my town.I live in a small sity.

For me,the odds of finding another bitcoiner offline are 1:1000000000  Grin

Maybe that other guy is a Bitcointalk member too. Grin
9042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Problems you often face online in Bitcoin world? on: July 31, 2016, 06:15:37 AM
What are the biggest problems, hurdles, time consuming thing online which you face often in bitcoin world. Lets discuss them and try to solve!

The lack of trust and the army of bitcoin scammers are the main problems,if you ask me.

Bitcoin will become more popular when there are better scam protection and prevention.

I can`t figure out any other problems.
9043  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: faucet problem on: July 30, 2016, 03:12:19 PM
how i can create faucet?

What ad platform are you going to use to make revenue from the faucet?

I`m just curious.Do you want to use Adsense?I`m not sure if this is possible.

Creating a faucet is pretty easy, but i`m not sure if it`s worth the effort.

If Bitcoin sparks your road to success, what will you do for people who shunned you when you were down and out?
(Years ago) I had one chance to buy Bitcoin at ~$0.05 (about 5 USD pennies each!) and I had never heard of BTC, or anticipated the future value so, why bother?  Huh
This year, I am full of big ideas and exciting ideas, but some members of my extended family tend to completely ignore my efforts to simply say "Hi" (even without sharing my "exciting ideas") a couple of times a year.

If you were in a similar situation, and eventually made big money from BTCitcoin related businesses, would you forget the previous cold-shoulder, or ignore them when you are "insanely wealthy" from honest efforts related to Bitcoin?

I can`t become "insanely wealthy" with bitcoin business so i don`t know.

Maybe,i would ignore them.I just stay away from stupid people so i wouldn`t care that much.

I`m sorry that you missed the opportunity to buy btc for 0,05$. Sad
9045  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: July 30, 2016, 12:32:20 PM
The sharing economy is just going to continue to grow, and governments will be challenged to understand and manage its implications while embracing its benefits. However, governments will be at a significant disadvantage if they wait too long and newer technologies and markets will have already been developed that do not follow traditional models. Think of the following: Uber is the world’s largest taxi service and owns no cars. Airbnb provides lodging yet does not own real estate.

How will local governments adapt to these new ways of doing business that are disrupting traditional business models? All we know now is that governments are a long way from even contemplating and accepting this new reality.

Local governments are losing the battle against globalisation, this is obvious.

They are trying to control something they don`t understand.

Bitcoin is the largest cryprocurrency and it has no central bank. Grin

9046  Economy / Economics / Re: Italian bank problems and bitcoin on: July 30, 2016, 12:28:17 PM
I read an article in the WSJ about the banking problems in Italy. The impact could be much worse than Greece for fiat currency. One could argue that debt based currency and intermediary parties are the main causes (Satoshi).

Are we going to see the next financial crisis this year? Do you think this will affect the bitcoin price this year?

The banking problems in Italy can hit really bad the euro, but i don`t think that there`s going to have any

impact over bitcoin price. Most of the large european banks have problems, but the European central bank will

help them with funds.
9047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: July 30, 2016, 12:25:13 PM
Bitcoin can disappear?
And if bitcoin is a scam, what will happen in world?
People will panic?

I really don`t understand what`s the point of your thread.

Are you asking a question?

Learn english and be more specific.

Bitcoin will dissapear if all the computers in the world dissapear.
9048  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: July 30, 2016, 12:22:20 PM
I'm sort of new to bitcoin, I've made a couple bucks already from visiting ad sites, doing faucets, etc, but is there any other way to earn easy cash? Anyone got any suggestions?

There`s no easy way to earn "easy" cash. Grin

You have to work hard and use your brain.

Faucets are a waste of time. You have to use them 1 month to get 1 cent.
9049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Worldwide! on: July 30, 2016, 12:20:13 PM
Are there countries that do not accept Bitcoin? I mean no idea regarding it. What do you think will happen to Bitcoin 5years from now? I'm not asking you to be a psychic to see the future. I'm asking about your idea about Bitcoin's future. TIA!

Yes.I think that bitcoin is illegal in Russia or some other third world countries.

Bitcoin won`t grow as fast as i wish in the next 5 years. Sad

We need to put more effort to expand the btc community.
9050  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: July 30, 2016, 12:17:12 PM
I saw someone mention some things about wishing they could buy gas and food with btc ...
I agree with them both, food especially.

So what about you guys ?
Anything that you wish you could buy with btc ? (legal things of course LOL Cheesy)

I wish i could buy a car and real estate with btc.

This is possible, but the  seller has to accept bitcoin as a payment method.

The btc price has to become more stable. Sad
9051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal? on: July 28, 2016, 11:13:13 AM
Let's say I generate a new address and by some miracle it has Bitcoin already in it belonging to somebody else. Is it legal to just take it? I understand those odds are very low, no need to lecture me, I'm just interested.

I don`t believe in miracles. If somebody sends btc to your wallet by mistake this isn`t stealing bitcoins.

It will be ethical to return those bitcoins.

I would return them,if i receive large amount of btc.

9052  Economy / Economics / Re: How can you earn 5% interest daily on your bitcoins? on: July 28, 2016, 06:42:33 AM
I'm wondering if there is a way to get 5% interest every day on your bitcoins. It sounds almost ponzi like, but i think it is possible(it's not double in an hour or anything like that).

If you have any ideas, please let me know.

5% interest per day is very high interest. And yes.It sounds like a ponzi scam.

If you think that this is possible, why don`t you share your idea.

With gambling you can make 5% profit per day,but some day you will lose 100%.
9053  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump Presidency - boom for bitcoin? on: July 28, 2016, 06:39:27 AM
I haven't seen this talked about much (but forgive me if it's been beaten to death already).

If the US ends up with Trump as President, do you think that would be good for bitcoin?

Economic turmoil or more specifically currency risk (especially of the Dollar) could cause many to flee to Bitcoin along with other currencies?

Any thoughts on this one?

There will be some short term impact, but i don`t think that it won`t be that strong.

If Trump makes some wrong decisions as a president, this might have a huge impact over bitcoin.

I`m not sure if the impact is going to be positive or negative.

9055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regret and depression on: July 28, 2016, 06:31:44 AM
If anyone should have become an overnight millionaire it should have been me. I've been involved in virtual economies for many years now (mmorpg gold exchanges) and if anyone should have had the foresight to become an early adopter of bitcoin it should have been me but instead I was wasting my time fucking around with virtual gold. I wake up every morning feeling depressed.

I am depressed right now,but it`s not about btc.I`m depressed about a girl.

I really regret that i haven`t found and started using bitcoin earlier.

Your reason about your depression is a little bit stupid. There are more important things in life.
9056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin worst decision you will ever make? on: July 28, 2016, 06:26:22 AM
surely you have experienced the worst decisions when using bitcoin?

then what was the best decision?

My best decision was when i decided to use and earn bitcoins.

My worst decision was when i decided to sell 1 btc last year, when the price was only 300$ per btc.

I still regret for that. Sad
9057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin copycats are rising on: July 27, 2016, 07:44:00 AM
Have you heard of TBC (The billion coins) or Swisscoin, they are not yet included in the coinmarket and yet their prices are rising very fast. Many are tempted to invest large amounts in those coins. You can also purchase those coins using bitcoins. Well, I am just afraid if they are really a currency or a scheme like ponzi like what ONECOIN did. What is the right thing to do about those coins?

Stay away from brand new altcoins.Every new cryptocurrency is a potential ponzi/scam.

Some people are manipulating their prices and creating buzz around those altcoins to get more people to invest

in them and then run away with the money.

9058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for criminals - Or so they say. on: July 27, 2016, 07:39:49 AM
Ok, so in every article or podcast or interview... we have to hear that Bitcoin is the preferred tool for criminals. If that was the truth, we should all be filthy rich by now... right? ....The question is, where

are all this money from money laundering, drugs, prostitution and all the nasty stuff, Bitcoin is being blamed for.... I do not see it, do you? Should we play to our strength then, if Bitcoin is only good for

criminal purposes? ... I mean to say, if we only attract say 10% of the total amount of money spend on drugs alone, we would most probably be millionaires in a month or two.  Roll Eyes

" With estimates of $100 billion to $110 billion for heroin, $110 billion to $130 billion for cocaine, $75 billion for cannabis and $60 billion for synthetic drugs, the probable global figure for the total illicit

drug industry would be approximately $360 billion.
"

This is a tongue in the cheek poke at all those people, who points fingers at Bitcoin for being the culprit and those who are saying Bitcoin is the primary tool for criminals to do their business online.  Roll Eyes

Can you smell the bullshit in their statements? The numbers just do not match up, with what they are saying.  Wink

http://dcebrief.com/digital-currency-for-commerce-or-criminals/

Yeah, that`s right. The world drug industry is 360 billion and bitcoin market capitalization is around 10 billion.

The whole idea that criminals use bitcoin is a big lie.Criminals use cash.
9059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not Money - Florida judge on: July 26, 2016, 12:16:24 PM

Bitcoin is money and it doesn`t matter what a florida judge thinks about that.

By the way,put some text in your thread OP,not just a link. Grin

It looks like you are only promoting a blogspot with ads.
9060  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase says F*ck you to Canadian customers on: July 26, 2016, 06:52:00 AM
As of August 1, Coinbase’s Canadian payments provider, Vogogo, will be shutting down its payment processing business. When this occurs, Coinbase will no longer be able to support Canadian EFT transfers, Interac transfers, or the storage of customer CAD on Coinbase.

All customer CAD stored with Coinbase MUST be withdrawn off site or converted to digital currency by July 29th.

If you hold CAD in your Coinbase account, you must liquidate your CAD holdings before July 29th by either:

creating a withdrawal to your linked bank account or
exchanging stored CAD for digital currency.
If you are unable to withdraw or exchange your CAD before July 29th, Coinbase will suspend your account and significant fees will be incurred for CAD withdrawals.
We are disappointed to lose the ability to offer these payment methods for our Canadian customers and hope to provide additional payment methods in the future. We appreciate your support during this change.

I don`t understand.What`s the problem?

"all CAD must be withdrawn or converted to digital currency"

Just convert CAD,it this so difficult?

Coinbase is a cryptocurrency wallet, not fiat currency wallet, like paypal and skrill.
