9042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: October 29, 2018, 12:08:56 PM
In gambling when you play to recover I feel that is your biggest mistake because it is not easy to win and not always you have that luck which might help you. So better to just gamble for entertainment and have a great time rather than getting into this and people who cannot control will become addicted which will be again a bigger problem.
That's inevitable when a gambler plays to recover. Its a big mistake for everybody but you'll never understand on how they badly feel to recover those losses that they've made. And to tell that to everybody it can't help and no one would stay with that situation for a very long time, you'll always think of those losses until you gain more as you gamble again.
9043  Economy / Economics / Re: 2018 the year of correction? on: October 29, 2018, 11:22:10 AM
2018 was a good year for cryptography. In this outgoing "bear" year, many events have occurred that will positively mess up on cryptography in the future.
It's true, we may see the bad side for this year with this bear market but it will deliver benefits in the future. It can possible to be seen on 2019 and so on. While halving will come on 2020 so that can affect the price perfectly. Bear now, bulls later.
9044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Blockchain and Crowdfunding the Future of Investing? on: October 29, 2018, 09:21:59 AM
Crowdfunding has been popular even before the age of cryptos so with integration of blockchain and crypto's this is really going to be the future of investing.
9045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ziliqa or cardano?? on: October 29, 2018, 07:46:23 AM
If I'm confuse with what coins to buy these are the two things that I do.

1. Buy both
2. Won't buy any of them
9046  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Block Chain going to be the next internet? on: October 29, 2018, 07:18:43 AM
Next internet? next big thing where each company needs? well that's possible and most of them has to apply it with their businesses. Its getting a lot of attention but still there's only few companies that are appreciating it.
9047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with normal games on: October 25, 2018, 07:58:06 PM
I don't think that they don't understand real happiness, it's just the same happiness, it's an emotional state, it's just that it's different now compared to before. I haven't tried betting clothes, especially the things we are currently playing but that would be fun. I only experienced strip poker lately, not when I was a kid. We all need money but we shouldn't be always about money, there's a difference.
That was sort of child team game in our community, I forgot the name of the game but that happened few times. But gambling on the older age would only lead you to think about profit, you may enjoy and get the happiness but those are only secondary reason why you gamble. Evolution of gambling has happened as well, old days I wasn't aware of dice bet but now its being applied to casino's.
9048  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I purchase bitcoins safely on: October 25, 2018, 07:40:49 PM
Coinbase would be your best choice if you don't trust LBC anymore. You don't have the private keys so after buying bitcoin, just move it to a wallet where you hold your PK's/seed like electrum.
9049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: EOS Based Exchange on: October 25, 2018, 06:58:18 PM
I don't think this should be found here, It should be on Service Announcements (Altcoins) .
Anyway, I'm only hearing bad things about EOS before but I guess this time it will be one of the most used platform.
9050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2 great coins to invest now on: October 25, 2018, 06:45:43 PM
I usually stay away from those coins that are being claimed as "great" unless they really are.
Well, I don't think so. Better to buy such top coins for future sell. Just XRP or Litecoin. I don't have trust to those two coins.
I agree with the suggestion of top coins but I wouldn't go with XRP.
9051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am sure Bitcoin Will go $50,000 End of this year because of ETF! on: October 25, 2018, 06:28:13 PM
$10,000 - $25,000 is still possible but going forward that far to $50,000? I don't think we are going to see it at the end of this year. Let's be realist here, we all want to see bitcoin goes $50,000 but we have to consider several factors.
9052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: October 25, 2018, 06:06:22 PM
I can't stay any longer without gambling because l cant trade without betting and there's no profit if theres no gambling.ln this world we have to fight for our family sake.lts either you win lose but your goal is to win the game.
There is profit even there's no gambling and only depends on how you are making with your daily living. But if you're living everyday and gambling all day long, you can say that there's no profit if you don't gamble. The gambling of life is different from gambling itself, in gambling you can only recover if you'll gamble but in life, there's too many way to win against the hardship of daily living.
9053  Economy / Speculation / Re: Signs That The Bitcoin Bulls Are Ready To Break Out on: October 25, 2018, 05:46:31 PM
Bakkt is what people are waiting for the most, there is more chance of this happening than the ETF which is continuously rejected over and over again. This is going to be the trigger for the next bull run
Same hype and expectation that can have the same disappointment.   Undecided
Last year we don't have those and ETF's were rejected but the market stand alone and went through all time high.
Hey buddy this isn't a hype but a real deal in the crypto world. Looks like we will have another mega bull that will come in our way.. Better get ready for an action. Investors will have an account on bakkt. This will be live on Dec 12
Real deal yes it is, but effect is still unmeasurable so let's just see on how things would go on December 12.
Let's just assume the bull comes after few weeks when Bakkt already is on the go, expect also a quick dump but if there's a resistance then we might see the light for the longer and higher ceiling.

9055  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: October 22, 2018, 10:31:09 PM
Haha this is normal, an investor that doesn't know about the technology behind bitcoin but still invests to bitcoin. They just look at the financial side that bitcoin would them certain profit after the date that they have set.
9056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we about to see another dive in crypto prices? on: October 22, 2018, 09:50:14 PM
So it's ok I think. Any situation might be good for you. If volumes are low then you can buy more. If volumes are high then you can sell more.
They won't see the good part of falling, they will never buy unless the price will pump for a while. Going to the safe haven, just buy bitcoin now and don't choose any altcoin if you are doubting the volumes. You don't have to trade and keep it until the price goes up. We can't hold and control on how long this bear would stay but as long as you are holding and adoption's are coming, you're good.
9057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC bear market over????? on: October 22, 2018, 09:33:01 PM
I don't think bitcoin will grow much by the end of the year. Even the decision of the SEC ETF may have little effect on the price.
But most of those decisions rejected those proposals. The last that I've heard is about Bakkt but that will start trading on December 12. Not sure if the date is correct and accurate, I just saw it on FB.
9058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with normal games on: October 22, 2018, 09:10:22 PM
Only with typical sports like basketball. When the great age when computers are expensive enough and people only play games outside their homes, basketball is one of an amazing part of my childhood where people in our community keeps on playing it from morning until evening. Its already part of the community's daily routine where a basketball match has come always with a bet.

Yeah, I miss those days thay we are covered with sweat being punished and always being scolded by our parents saying that we are all focused on playing and using our money to play and it will not give us great things in the future.

They might be right but that is part of childhood. I even bet something when my classmates are throwing stones at a sign. We bet whoever hit the sign will be taking all of our snacks, someone did and we are called at our baranggay for that.
Those days are good to cherish and unlike today's children, they will never understand what real happiness is. Well this is getting off topic now. Any simple games before can be applied with gambling, whether the bet is money, clothes, or anything which is childish thing and all we do is to enjoy the company of both parties. But now we've grown up and getting older lol all we want is money.
9059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETh will hit $1000 end of this year on: October 22, 2018, 08:56:54 PM
How I wish that you have an angel's tongue to make all of those predictions perfect. We're on October and I just commented to one post that is saying this October ETH will reach $2500 and now where are we? $1000 seems close to reality but its still unconsidered that we'll be back to it, let's see on how things would go if it will manage to get close even to $500 again.
9060  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have to make big investment before you can make profit in crypto? on: October 22, 2018, 08:46:16 PM
You don't have to do that if your property is only one. Don't gamble it with something that you knew because of hype unless you're fully equipped with knowledge to crypto's. I've heard a story that a family did actually bet all of their belongings including their home for bitcoin and now they are in profit. Its just a matter on how vast your knowledge with crypto and the amount you can start risking.
Thats why you should invest according to you can afford to lose, I mean to allocate funds according to the financial capabilities you have, and you also have to know how much your knowledge is in crypto, you can't allocate large funds but your knowledge about crypto is still low? so manage it well man
It's true that you have to invest only what you can afford to lose and this is also good for other type of legit investments, like in stocks or bonds. But with bonds its lower risk and profit is more guarantee because it can be the government or an established business you are investing with. Unlike with crypto, this is still young though we've been here for a couple of years we understand volatility but for newbies they won't get it in the first place.
