9061  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: November 05, 2017, 10:54:06 PM
Hey guys.

Don't know what is going on today with me on this site, but I've figured out a strategy on the multiply BTC which has earned me 10k satoshi today. I know it's not possible to game the system per definition, I should always lose, but I'm only winning at the moment. My Multiply BTC earnings are currently positive. How is that possible?

And also because I'm currently betting huge amounts of money I get a lot of reward points and lottery tickets. This also feels like I'm 'gaming the system', I almost feel that I'm doing illegal stuff here.

Some advice?

I got a loss so I you're just on a lucky streak there. The number is generated server-side so you shouldn't be able to alter it (without knowing).

Try restartng your browser/reloading the page and see if it goes.
9062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cash from bitcoin wallet? on: November 05, 2017, 10:48:12 PM
It's easy. The hardest part would be to export your private keys from your wallet.

1. Export your private keys by following this guide[1].
2. Download the Electron Cash wallet for BCH[2].
3. Create a new wallet by using your private keys from the step 1 guide.
4. Spend your BCH!

[1] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2061691.0
[2] https://electroncash.org/

will get free BCH or will only exchange ?

You'll get the BCH in a lightweight wallet on your computer. You can then choose whether to holdthis or to send it to an exchange to cash in. It's a functioning wallet that you produce and thus you can go the other way and buy bitcoin cash and store it there.

i dont get how come at rewarding bloks the price of BTC is at $7111.3938, evrywhere else its at 7.5K, when do they update this?

I guess the update is done daily although if it is at a high like this maybe they'll keep it lower just in case it changes suddenly...

Are the withdrawls and deposits working correctly now also (to anyone)?
9064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 10 address low amount on: November 05, 2017, 01:10:28 PM
And you can even pay lower than 1$ if you want, once you open the electrum app, go to Tools tab>Preferrences and check the "Edit fees manually" so you can put the fees manually and it depends on you if how much you will input. But note that sending BTC with low fees will put your transaction to be too long to be confirmed and a big possibility that the network will drop your transaction.

You can always resend/rebroadcast it though.
If you're going to edit fees manually, you can probably go down to 0.0002BTC for the transaction but I really wouldn't go any lower than that. Move the slider if you don't want to edit fees manually and place it on 25 blocks.

What command did you use to run this software? Did you put in a command on the command line or just click it and hope it ran out-of-the-box?
9067  Economy / Lending / Re: Open Investment For My Trading (USD/BTC) Business on: November 05, 2017, 01:04:29 AM
If anyone wants to invest here it'd be very useful to clear up a few things:
1. You got any proof of what your bot has already done?
2. Why is the minimum $100? If you're going to have a minimum, would it not be better being lower unless you're just trying to get $100/bitcoin.
3. If you get 0-3% interest, presumably that means you can never go negative? What happens at a dump? Is the investment value in bitcoin or USD? IE, if someone put in $100, do they get $0-3 every day or the capital*3/100?

Also, would you not get more money by selling the bot or did you buy a licence for a bot already programmed?
9068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 2 days without 1 confirmation on: November 04, 2017, 08:43:35 PM
2 days is a lot. The most I have waited is 3 days and still the transaction hadn't been confirmed. But some guy here was offering a transcation acceleration service and it got confirmed within an hour.

Check out the services section here if you can find someone to help you out.

I know macbook-air and quickseller were offering one that was very reasonably priced, not sure if it's still running now though.

Also bitmain has a free "priority service" has their accelerator that's free.
9069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 10 address low amount on: November 04, 2017, 07:30:44 PM
Yes you pay $1 fee for your normal transaction.
With a transaction like I say it should cost no more than $5 for all of them (depending on the number of inputs your spending - basically the number of transactions you're using to send this one).
9070  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia Withdrawal issue on: November 04, 2017, 07:18:52 PM
I have been waiting for withdrawal of ENT coins for nearly 24 hours from Cryptopia!
When opening support ticked they said:
"I apologise for the delay, it appears your withdrawal has failed to automatically broadcast to the network on the first automated attempt. I have escalated this to our Admin team to manually reprocess for you."

This is first time using this exchange and not sure i trust them?
Few other users having issues from their forums.
Whats people opinion on this exchange?

Just leave it and see if it gets added in a few weeks/months it's not a very acceptable excuse from their support.

I got the same issue with hitbtc where 0.15+ worth of btc were sent there and they never appeared in my account with a similarly inexcusable remark as your support person gave. Just hope you get yours fixed soon.
9071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 10 address low amount on: November 04, 2017, 07:11:47 PM
i want to send about 0.9$ to 10 address  how can send them with low fee price(my wallet ask for 2$ for each trans)

What wallet are you using? You should be able to use a paytomany transaction to do this. But it depends on the wallet you're using.

i ask for Best wallet to Do this

Ah. In that case, i'd recommend electrum downloadable from electrum.org/#download.
In the send transaction window, start by putting the address, a comma ',', then the amount. One per line.
Such As:
Code:
1address1,0.002
1address2,0.002
1address3,0.002
You can then also customise the fee for the entire transaction.

Be sure to check if the transaction is in ntc or mbtc (milli bitcoin) before sending.
9072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Move Bitcoin Wallet from Phone to Computer on: November 04, 2017, 06:25:18 PM
I am using Bitcoin Wallet v5.38 on my Android v6.01 phone. I am about to change my phone and want to move my wallet to my Windows 10 PC. How do I go about it?

There are a few ways of doing this.
The safest:
1. Install wallet software if you haven't already, I recommend electrum.
2. Click Wallet>show addresses, right click the address and show its qr code and scan this on your phone to send the funds.

Alternatively:
1. Make a backup and put it on your computer.
2. Look at the how to guides in the Android bitcoin wallet section.
3. You can then sweep these coins into electrum and use them. You can import them.as well but I wouldn't recommend these.

9074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Multisignature wallets and Passphrases are ineffective in other wallets? on: November 04, 2017, 04:46:35 PM
Let`s say you setup a multi sig wallet or you setup a QT wallet and set a passphrase for everytime you`ll send coins. So these are pretty secure options right?

But what if someone gets your private key? then can still just import that in another wallet and send your balance to another address right?
so all those multisigs, passwords and passphrases are good within that particular wallet brand like QT or electrum.

Am I getting this right?

Yes it's just an extra step for secuirty. The private key is normally encrypted in some way that can only be decryptedwith the verification or using another service to hold a section of the private key that sends the encryted from for decryption using a specific key you use.

It is true that is someone gets the unencrypted parts of the key and puts them together then they will be able to deduce the private key and use it and there is a way to revert a multisig wallet private key back to a regular address private key (I'm fairly sure there is at least).

10 sat/b actually is not so small fee amount to put into transaction
Usually a transaction with the fee amount is confirmed in 1-3 hours after sending, BUT not with that

confirmtx does not accept due to size, viabtc is beyond limit

Do we have any other choice to accelerate the shit?

Transactions.is now confirmed.
There are some available. Just google for bitcoin transaction accelerator.

What is the point of the post? If you have some useful information - make a post, if do not - get the fucking out of here
This really shouldn't be done to a user trying to help you.
pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator is an example of one you'll find from just looking in here first. There's a pinned thread that tells you how to get a transaction confirmed. You should really take a look at that as well in case this happens again.
9076  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: FATAL ERROR! electrum download on: November 04, 2017, 02:51:27 PM
Hi, just new to all this and the recommendation was to used Electrum as a wallet.

After downloading, tried opening and message 'FATAL ERROR' appeared.

Error loading Python DLL 'C:\users\ASPIRE1\AppData\local\Temp\_MEl89402\python35.dll.
LoadLibrary: Invalid access to memory location.

This is probably an easy fix but I've tried reinstalling and other means but unable to get it running.

Is this a common occurrence or have I downloaded from a dodgy site (electrum.org)?

Any help would be really appreciated.

No. This is happening to almost everyone trying to load electrum on Windows 7 or Windows 8.1.
If you really need electrum3 then use a live OS or dual boot.

Else, redownload/locate your old version of electrum 2.9.3 and use that until the bug is fixed (as I'm doing).

I did not do a violent shutdown. But I know that to reload the blockchain takes something like 15 days.
The log is in english...  and very big.
Here is the first and last lines. It seems it freed memory, so for that it will be OK

I think you may have forgotten toadd the log there?

Did you try it with the 32 bit version?
9078  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: November 04, 2017, 01:13:25 PM
Hi guys,

I deposited an amount of BTC to my hashnest wallet and I checked the transaction ID in blockchain and it says everything is done and confirmed and the wallet address is correct too but the balance is not in my wallet even there is not an unconfirmed transaction there !!!! how could it be ?!

Tell this to their support at support@hashnest.com and they should be able to help you. Include the recieve address and TXid.
9079  Bitcoin / Electrum / Electrum Android Crashes On Startup on: November 04, 2017, 12:11:54 AM
I have been using electrum on android for quite a while and updated it recently.
The update seems to have sent the wallet/phone into a state where it crashes as soon as it opens (a black screen appears and then it goes back to the home screen immediately - showing the generic ANR message).

Is anyone else having the same issue (I'm on JellyBean)?
9080  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 3.0 is out ! on: November 04, 2017, 12:05:45 AM
1/ Could someone explain in simple words, for the average users, what are the main benefits of Electrum 3.0 vs 2.9.3?
The fees are reduced due to each inputer being smaller as some of the data is stored in relation to the original address (the one beginning with a 1), and some is stored in relation to the segwit address (the segwit address). Although someone may be able to explain this more clearly than I can

What this segwit support is used for? Has this something to do with the forthcoming fork?
This specifically is to do with the August 1st fork this year. The upcoming fork is Segwit2x. The August 1st fork was the Segwit one that this supports.

2/ If we are using ver.2.9.3 now, how shall be proceeded in installation process? Should we de-install the old version and re-install the new one, or we may install straight over v.2.9.3?
Write down you seed and if you install the new wallet in the way you previously installed the last one and it uses a heuristic algorithm so should be able to find your wallet file and if not, import your seed.

3/ Should we be in a hurry at all to install the 3.0 version?

No it just means that you can send with lower fees.
You do have to send the coins to a P2SK(/segwit) address before you can sign a segwit transaction.
