9061  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much do i need to invest? on: March 26, 2017, 03:54:44 PM

I am new to mining. How much do i need to invest in genesis mining to generate 1500-2000 USD per month mining altcoins like ethereum or dash?

Well I can say that many are saying that genesis mining is a legit cloud mining site. We already heard that for so many times.

And I would say that don't get into it anymore we don't know when it is going to collapse or will surprise us.

If you want to mine alt coins, it's going to be costly for you and don't hope that you'll earn that big monthly.
9062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: March 26, 2017, 03:28:04 PM
I really believe that trading is gambling it's just a centralized type of gambling. People made trading as innovative type of investment.

But the real thing behind it's concept is gambling, so I do really prefer and will stand that trading is gambling.

Not only with it's risk but the whole concept.

It's happening around investment in crypto project is truly gambling because nobody knows what is happening and what future will decide about this. I also agreed with trading is just form of gambling much huge risks involve in trading too.

Even in real life, just like the stocks market. Those rich people who are investing into loves to do that type of trading which is very elegant upon hearing.

At first, I thought that it isn't gambling at all but upon learning deeper about it, I just realized that it's totally the same.

But of course, we do have our very own beliefs with this matter.
9063  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you always missed the right time to sell/buy bitcoin? on: March 26, 2017, 03:03:14 PM
When the price of bitcoin reached this quarter's ATH I hated myself to missed out for not selling all of my bitcoins.

If I had a signal that the price is going to fall probably I'm just buying around right now at lower price and will do the cycle again.

I'll be more alert next time but right now I don't have choice, hold.
9064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: March 26, 2017, 02:44:11 PM
I guess that bitcoin is the new era of currency as we are on the technology era, it's very fast with the phasing.

And just to inline with it fiat is not more suitable though it is still reliable and being dependent by the whole world.

So bitcoin is the new era of online currency.
still too early to say bitcoin will be a new era of currency because there are many countries that do not accept bitcoin and bitcoin still prohibit and users are also not too big?

It may be early to say but that's considerable as bitcoin is one of the popular internet currency.

I believe that we are in the new era of everything and transactions will be automated too and bitcoin is going to be the medium of it.

Correct and we want that. If that happens surely the value will grow more. Though it is still early to say it, just imagining how much comfort it could give us by using it is truly remarkable.
Currencies are supposed to be used with widely in order for it to be known and somehow be traditionally used without even knowing it.

Just like what is happening right now the price seems to be pumping again and if we are going to take a look back of bitcoin's history.

It is very far from now and it will be farther as it is right now. People will be practical and curious about this thing.

And that will make bitcoin to be the new era of transactions and currency.

9066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the best way to research alt coins? on: March 26, 2017, 01:40:54 PM
I read coin desk and follow the bitcointalk threads about Alts and slacks of coins.is there any other effective ways to do proper research on new alt currencies. Any advice would be appreciated.

You are doing it right already, just follow their ANN thread and any service discussion about their thread and you'll be fine.

Most of the things that you need to learn about your research on a certain project will be already there.
9067  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: March 26, 2017, 01:12:14 PM
Nope, I haven't put all of my funds and I don't even intend to do so. I know that bitcoin is still a risky type of investment.

And that's why I didn't put all of my investments and I'm a bit too scary of what is happening of it's ups and down.

But that is only way back when I was still newbie.
9068  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you should consider investing in bitcoin on: March 25, 2017, 11:39:09 AM
That's the beauty of bitcoin because of it's unstable price. That's the way of making good profit from it.

By simply buying it at lower price, we can actually had a legit investment by holding it for a longer time.

And when the price is already good, we can sell it and get the profit that we are waiting for.
Bitcoin is actually a long term trading/investment. Since the market if bitcoin aren't that huge compare to freign exchange, its market movement is quite unstable, this is good for a long term trader. However, if you are a short term trading then don't trade with bitcoin since bitcoin must be traded for a long time of period to make a great profit.

It depends on how you are going to trust bitcoin and how you can take your patience. Just like what is happening today.

The price is falling and it's hard to say that bitcoin can keep on dropping or you can just simply keep on believing it.

Because one day it will pump again.
9069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I got $100 to blow, what coins should I get on: March 25, 2017, 08:41:06 AM
If you had $100 to blow today, what coins would you invest in?
I'm looking into getting my first Alt-coins, and interested in a long term investment

I would go with XMR, ETH and DASH but it is going to be better if you are going to focus into one coin only.

Because that $100 isn't that big if you are going to think about bigger profit, these coins are good for long term investments.

It's already proven.
9070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: March 25, 2017, 08:28:29 AM
I used to visit land based casino's but not anymore because I'm focus into other things and I hate to visit any of them anymore.

I had a bad experience with real casino's because they had some issues and when I started to enter a casino.

I just can't help myself to gamble all my money.

9072  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: March 25, 2017, 07:49:48 AM
I'm having hard time to manage my emotions for everything that is happening in my life. And in trading, most of the time I feel frustrated.

Especially when I'm seeing the price of bitcoin is falling that is hurting me that starts me to realize that it's better rather than bitcoin doesn't have value at all.

I just go with the flow and take a deep breath.

I feel frustrate easily to when i see some dumps happen in the time of my monitoring and sometimes im lossing some money with that since i can't truly hold my feelings since im kinda afraid of dead dumps who mostly happens on altcoins in market trades, But if we talk about gambling since we are in gambling discussion i think i can with hold my patience in that since im not totally a sane sick gamblers who mostly do some wild bets on their game time.

As a matter of fact, just like what's happening now. I feel frustrated too, I don't know if we are going to see the price of bitcoin again higher.

It's really hard to control this emotion and I don't know what to do if I'm going to sell some of my coins or just keep on holding.

But as long as I had hope with bitcoin, I'll hold.

9075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: March 24, 2017, 11:15:20 AM
There are some people saying that the best way to play gambling smartly is by not involving yourself in gambling or by not gambling at all.

It's easy to say but it's hard to apply especially if a person is a very hard gambler. We all know about it.

By simply disciplining yourself you are doing it good and can consider as smart way.
9076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's design a coin on: March 24, 2017, 10:50:09 AM
Thought experiment time kids.

So for the sake of hypothesis, I'm a programmer who can code in C#, Java and Python and I'm thinking of creating a coin. What features should our coin have? What should it be called? What language should we write it in? Should it be PoW, PoS, PoI or something else? How many coins should it have in total? Ico? Dev premine? What algo should we use? What real world issue are we going to solve with our coin?

BitcoinTalk Forum Coin (BTF Coin)?

You seem to have a very good skill and can be considered as one of the most in-demand programmer in the market.

Why not try to sell out your skill to the companies instead of thinking this another coin that will just waste people's time and money.

I'm sorry about it but most of the time newly created coins are just being dumped.

9078  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin prices go to the moon? on: March 24, 2017, 10:18:04 AM
Bitcoin should come down to $200 again so i can buy it and let it go to the moon Grin
Don't make me laugh, I don't think bitcoin will down to 200$ go try to list it in the water if that happen Grin
Bitcoin now has been reduced at below 1100$ but it will be never be drop in below 1000$. It can recover it at once more than 1200$ Wink

Well it isn't going to come back on that price. It may be falling right now but let's be real on it. It's just fluctuating from $1k - $1,100 now.

We just need to wait and help the adoption again so that bitcoin can recover again.

Because of the fud that are being spread by these people that wants to make the newbies sell the coins they've got is irritating me.
9079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Main Currency on: March 24, 2017, 09:57:12 AM
No, it’s not going to replace the dollar, or any other fiat currency.

Yeah it isn't going to be the main currency of America, they are totally devoted and used to depend on their own currency which is dollars.

And besides, dollar is well known and being regulated by them and many other local currencies are depending their economies into it.

To the extent that it becomes successful, it will serve as a complement to fiat currencies, as well as other cryptocurrencies.

No it isn't going to become successful that it will come to the point of making it as main currency.

Why does it say "DO NOT USE a wallet address from crypto exchange! You can lose all your tokens FOREVER."Huh

If it is an Ethereum transaction, why does a transfer to a crypto exchange mean any danger?? I do not get it at all! It was supposed to be as dangerous (or not dangerous) as any other wallet address.

They are just worried about an exchange to collapse maybe that's the point of that reminder, however it shouldn't be told that way.

As long as you are going to use a legit and trusted exchanger there's no problem at all. That's just a friendly reminder from them.

It's up to you if you will follow them.
