9082  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to Bitcoins, just got my first wallet. on: June 10, 2013, 11:41:37 PM
Hello, I am new to the whole bitcoin thing, and now with bitcoins being all over the news I figure I should get into it.  I just got my first wallet open and next paycheck I will buy my first coin.  In the mean time I figured I would post on here asking if anyone wanted to donate some bitcoins to my wallet, my wallet is very empty and it would be really nice if someone could give me a jump start, I will take anything, as I am not wealthy and anything is better then nothing.  So if you have any extra coins, or are extremely wealthy and want to help out a someone new in the bitcoin world, send some coins my way.  Thanks for any help
Send any donations to:

Hey there! You can use faucets to get free BTC, Smiley. http://coinfaucets.tk is a rotator and timer for them so you can keep hitting them as soon as you can to earn more.
9083  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie enthusiast seeking BTC from user with digital wealth. on: June 10, 2013, 10:41:18 PM
Yeah "technically" you could enter you btc address on some of those pages....

So what? when they made it clear that if you really wanted free btc...

You had to sign up.

Let's be completely honest about this...

Unless you want to sign-up, then those sites are a waste of time/

Oh and anyone know how much .01btc is worth? I guess that's somewhere around a buck?

Where can I buy one dollars worth of btc? LOL

...but not kidding. cause that's all I need. haha

You're completely losing me. There is one site that allows you to sign up: CoinAd. DailyBitCoins will allow it as well if you are an advertiser. The rest don't even have the ability to sign up, much less a requirement to.

Hey all! Newbcoin is been temporarily moved to an inactive state until they are paying.

WDC is on the brink of death methinks..  Only 19BTC worth of buy orders on MCXNOW and less than 2BTC on cryptsy..  Are there any other exchanges trading it?

Might not be a bad idea to sell now if you've been holding it.

The admin and community are working on some development business-wise and such though, so it should pick up.
9086  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: FREE BTC! BTC Faucet Timer/Rotator! on: June 10, 2013, 09:52:12 PM
Thank you so much! I thought about making one myself because on coin reaper there isn't many faucets, but on your there is A LOT! Smiley

There are, Smiley. And I am also pretty active so if any issues arise you can usually get a hold of me pretty quickly (assuming I'm not away from the house at the time). PM's on the forums or emails (coinfaucets@gmail.com) work.

As more trusted faucets pop up I'll get them added as well!

Nice site just wish I could get more than one ticket.

You realy need to get it into the faucet rotor

It's in my faucet rotator - http://coinfaucets.tk

It's set for the 30m timer as well so you can always hit it as soon as it's off cooldown.
9088  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: FREE BTC! BTC Faucet Timer/Rotator! on: June 10, 2013, 09:34:25 PM
Nice faucet. I like free BTC so expect to get my action regularly

Thanks! Please consider spreading the word, Smiley.

Also, there are a lot of faucets there that are on 30m timers, and the system will keep up with them for you automatically!

Hey, I love the site. I haven't won a lottery yet but I've followed it on a regular basis. I also added it to http://coinfaucets.tk in the automatic rotator, Smiley.

Definetively useful!

Thanks, Smiley.

This is a really cool website - thanks for making it!

No problem. Thank you too!

I´m sure you already checked, but the list they have here is pretty useful to check for site to add. (Scroll down to Websites using CoinBox Beta)

Thanks for the heads-up. I just checked the list against mine and all of those are on it, Smiley.

Those of you with havelock... have you been doing alright with them? I just looked over their financials and they are losing more and more every quarter. They're down to a quarter (no pun intended) of where they were last year.
9092  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase issues on: June 10, 2013, 08:04:43 PM
Did you do something special? I still doesn't have that item in menu Sad

Nope...

From the main page:

Left side -> Account Settings
Top middle -> Integrations
Very bottom -> Shows currently selected BTC address, plus option for adding another

Thanks for the replies, but getting free bitcoins is not what i had in mind. If you think of the internet as a nation and bitcoin as its currency then the dollar value of bitcoin shouldn't matter, but what it gets you on the internet does matter.

Then faucets are an easy way to earn them in your spare time. Takes a minute or so to run through all of them every 30m, or about 2-3m to run through all the first time, Smiley. I usually knock them out while watching tv.

Hi. I added a BTC payment option to my business site, but when I went to get my business listed in the wiki I found out that I had to pay 0.01 BTC for this. Problem is I don't have any BTC. lol. Hey, I'm a newbie and while I'm excited about BTC - I don't trust it yet. So while I am willing to experiment and offer my online service for btc, I am not ready to invest cash in it. Maybe later, but for now, I need 0.01 BTC.

Anyone want to sell me 0.01 BTC? PM me and I'll pay you thru paypal. Actually, I'd need a little more that that because I understand that I need to pay a transaction fee as well. Don't recall how much that was.

or perhaps someone will donate this change so I can get my biz listed?

And yeah... I did try that faucet thing that's linked in a post above, however, it requires a signup and other personal info. Additionally, the other faucets that I found thru google - they've yet to pay me anything. So here I am....

The wiki page info is here; https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/BitcoinPayment & https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Special:BitcoinPayment

My BTC is: 1JbYTyv6eUJMC1zkmGJZPdGgvHmiGYuA4H

thanks!

Huh? The faucet requires no sign up or other info. In fact, it requests your BTC address just so it can save it for you -- it's not even required (just leave the box empty and hit "Next").

Only one of the faucets requires signing up, and that's only if you want to be able to use that one every 60m instead of 24h.
