If you set the fee to 0, the payment will still reach the other party, it might only take days instead of minutes. correct?
Correct - but not 100% if you will put fee 0 and transaction will be bigger than for example 0.001 it will take few hours, not days... Anyway transaction will be confirmed then so you don't need to pay - it is just optional and make transaction muuuuch faster and miners more happy!

PS: Jak chcecie kopalnie PL to PM do mnie. Życzę powodzenia i konsekwencji w prowadzeniu projektu. Jak PL to w całości PL . ja tez kocham Polskę - ale ta waluta to totalny kicz. Nie ma żadnych szans na zainstnienie na żadnej poważnej giełdzie ...

I've not actually even seen a full episode of the 'new' version of Dr Who - and by new I mean the 2005 version. I used to watch the older series all the time as a kid though. I'm a little bit in love with Karen Gillan though: She's nice - but just need some hair, or you like it fully hairless?

It's true. But given the recent hubub about developers reducing the default fee, they could easily reduce the fee through increased precision.
perhaps you are right it's hard to say without testing your option But idea seems not bad - just guess it will never be implemented into Bitcoin. (or maybe - then ask for some donations for idea:P)

A stable ponzi is like a reliable MtGox.
Nonexistent.
Hehehe Perhaps yes... That is why I never spent even 0.0001 for this shit...

Not true. Simply import the wallet from your Bitcoin-QT into your MultiBit wallet. This will import the keys for the Bitcoin address you created in your Bitcoin-QT wallet into the MultiBit wallet.
Wala, the coins will magically appear in your MultiBit wallet.
However, you need the wallet.dat file created by Bitcoin-QT, hopefully you did not delete it.
even without synchronization first? ah yes ... multibit will get wallet address from qt if you do that My bad! You are right!

it has to be next.
why? and what is wrong with MtGox? There will be no "next" or there will be for sure. Time will show. We are not prophets...

I've profited a lot from them, its just when the change the rules halfway through that it is annoying.
Well be careful, a lot of them pay and then end up not paying. Most of them people are lucky to be paid ... but some of them will loose that's all ponzi magic.

sure it is worth mining if you have >5000$ to invest into a nice rig! why wouldn't it be profitable? Sure it is! ...

Hey folks,
I'm sure I'm not the first to propose this but hows about a dedicated android phone to store your bitcoins in cold? I dont like coins on my computer, as I use it every day and it's always on the internet.
An android phone would make it easy to access my coins when I wanted to, it would be portable, easy to back up onto a USB etc... and the camera option is really neat!
but I have one concern........ android software and google apps! or am I paranoid?!
these phones usually come with default software, that demand access to all sorts of information. Is the software that one would download from the app store safe to use alongside google apps (only!)
I would keep it turned off, probably without a sim card, install the programme on the SD card, and back up the wallet to a USB stick. I would keep the phone pin locked and under my bed.
what do you think?
Cheers.
It will work as long as your phone and its memory will regards!

Hello everyone. I'm new to Bitcoin, having just made my first purchase of 0.1 BTC a couple days ago. I tried to withdraw it from Coinbase (yes, I knew enough to not invest in Mt Gox), and seem to be having difficulty. I'm pretty sure the problem is on my end with my wallet. Before ordering my 0.1 BTC I decided to download the Bitcoin-QT wallet. I didn't know how big of a file the ledger actually is, and by the time it ate up 75% percent of my data plan I decided it wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, I ordered my transfer while it was still downloading the ledger which is why I'm guessing it's never come in. I've since downloaded the MultiBit wallet, transferred some coins from Coinbase to it, and am quite happy with it. Is there anyway I can get my 0.1 BTC out of cyberspace and into my MultiBit wallet? The most obvious way to just let Bitcoin-QT finish downloading the ledger, but for obvious reasons I don't want to do that. Coinbase has already issued me the receipt of the withdraw in my account on their site with several clickable links and a couple of downloadable files that I'm not sure if there's anything I can do with. Is there anything I can do except just let Bitcoin-Q finish downloading? Thank you in advance for helping a noob. If you withdraw money into your qt wallet and bitstamp already sent it (you have tx) then you must wait till qt will synchronize No other way to get it back.
