As long as you have control over your private keys , you should be fine and you won't lose anything . I'm not sure If the wallet you mentioned (MyEtherWallet) support sending ICNs though.

It's possible to buy & sell stocks and also to copy other people profiles (In case you don't know what you are doing) , you copy moves of professional traders.

There isn't much you could do at this point unfortunately. If he don't deliver what he promised , you should explain the situation to PayPal and you should win the dispute without issues . Next time , use Bitcoin with escrow , that way you can't get scammed.

99% of Bitcointalk users (or even bitcoin users) know that this kind of websites are a scam , but they take the risk anyway, you should understand that there is no such a thing as "easy money" , If you want to have bitcoins , you should work to earn them and not deposit them into a "bitcoin doubler" or a service that give you interest each day for x period of time.

I would continue to use it as I see no harm on it , I can understand why having a gun or taking drugs is illegal but having a currency isn't harmful a all . Just because they made a law about it , doesn't mean they are right. Making it illegal won't change anything for me , I can deposit them into my Neteller account and trade them for my local currency as usual and no one will know about it.

Well , members with high ranks are better to trade with because ranks are earned by time (which means the user is old) so trading with Hero member or Legendary member will increase your chances in getting a successful trade (that doesn't mean that It's impossible to get scammed by them). Always check their "trust" in their history and read carefully everything there, anyone with "red" trust is to avoid trading with , anyone with "green" trust is probably your best option , as for the neutral , then you should do your job by checking trust history and his posts etc... and try to not trade huge amounts at once.. instead , cut that amount into pieces and trade with different users.

The Bitcoin potentials are simply huge and have no limits , however we will never those potentials unless the Bitcoin development start to become more active and become faster (much faster). I'm not saying that the developers are not doing their job but probably more developers are needed.
As I said on several posts Bitcoin is currently on a race with Altcoins , from time to time a new altcoin come out with new things , If Bitcoin need to compete then It should go to the next level (Lightning network , SegWit and more)
