9081  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: is daily paid out websites really pay? on: November 03, 2017, 08:47:40 PM
No OP these are for sure scams.

You can't reliably reproduce more than a few percent daily and even that's difficult.

I'm not sure where you are, but where I am, the interest percentage goes down the more you invest (unless they're really high profit).

Search the work Ponzi schemes for a better explanation of what I mean. They'll use your money on someone else's investment and once they reach a certain amount they'll disappear.

When I started here, a Ponzi scheme called emicoin exited with more than 100+btc.

I'd suggest you look at something better to invest, there are more trusted sites like freebitco.in, hashnest.com, be.com and viabtc.com where you can invest and these are safer (still not fully safe though).
9082  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 3.0 is out ! on: November 03, 2017, 08:12:41 PM
Did you test to send  some bitcoin to other wallet if its support segwit when sending bitcoin or any changes of the fee and size. .

Hope that you can give some review of new  electrum that support segwit.. waiting for feedback if ever this is the final wallet that support segwit hope that it will work..
Fees and size are the same as other segwit transactions. I haven't paid attention to the differences, so I can't comment on that.

I would do like Electrum is recommending and keep using a standard address while all major services start upgrading their code to support bech32 addresses.

Do i still need to install python in my windows 7 pc? or electrum 3.0 is only works in linux?
If you are in a windows machine, you don't need to install python or any other dependencies. Just download it and you are good to go.
Not working in my windows 7 im getting error when opening electrum wallet
I'm getting error like "Error loading python dll"Python35.dll not loading or getting this error..
I think its need to download  a python which is work in windows 7?

Updated: Just try to install portable electrum in windows server 2016 RDP in aws. its working fine but in my laptop error loading python..
Hope someone can give me idea to fix this..

Windows 7 64bit by any chance on your laptop? Yeah. I got the same problem and another user already posted before about it. I'm not sure there's a fix as of yet, you'll have to try to run portable versions on other operating systems on your laptop to get it to work (or wait for the patch update).
No My machine is windows 7 ultimate 32bit. I thought its working base on what Tryninja said..
Well i tried it in RDP from aws but its not safe so i think better to wait for the new patch for new electrum supports segwit..
The  new electrum 3.0 the options are really different from old wallet and the address started from bc1 hope they can give some resolution to use electrum 3.0 in windows 7 OS.

Tryninja must be running a different OS or found a replacement (e.g. downloading the library file - NOT RECOMMENDED).
I'm like you wand waiting for the version to be compatible. I found it is just windows 7 and 8.1 it doesn't work on Windows server OSes and the other windows OSes run find.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by how it is different in the way it imports addresses as you said? I've not seen this (as I haven't got if to run - I might be able try later on a Pi though so any guidance on it's runnings would be helpful especially private key/address wise).

9084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Error when run Bitcoind daemon on Windows 10 64bit on: November 02, 2017, 09:20:28 PM
I use 64bit version of OS, and cant change it becouse 32bit OS does not support 16GB RAM.
i check what you tell me cant run daemon.

Download the 32bit version of the core and see if that functions. 64bit operating systems can run 32 bit and 64 bt (mine's 64 and it can run both - right now, my browser is 32-bit).

Type after this if it does in the command line: "Start Control" and find where it gives information about your computer and test that it DEFINITELY is 64 bit and that something hasn't happened to your computer. Otherwise, you may need to try reinstalling windows if thsi doesn't work or restoring it from a backup (there's also an option to repair windows that you could try but run a full backup first before fiddling with the OS).
9085  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 3.0 is out ! on: November 02, 2017, 08:56:17 PM
Could you help me with this issue at starting of Electrum 3.0 ?
"Error loading Python DLL" - python35.dll

Thanks

It is being worked on. See, https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues/3171

That folder doesn't exist according to my version of windows. Is it just the best version of windows this effects 7 and are there any other reeases that work or will they all fail.

Also, for the latest version of python to run, Windows 7 SP1 is needed...
9086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Error when run Bitcoind daemon on Windows 10 64bit on: November 02, 2017, 08:13:14 PM
I have error when try to run bitcoin daemon on my Windows 10 64bit
http://prntscr.com/h5c7w2

Tell me the os is not supported for daemon why?

Is your computer 32 bit or 64 bit?

If you don't know.
type in the command line "cd C:\Windows\SysWOW64" if it moves to that folder, then it is. If not, you aren't running windows 64bit.

Whether you are or not running 64 bit OS. I'd recommend yousue the 32 bit version just to test if that works.
9087  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: HELP / ADVISE NEEDED on: November 02, 2017, 08:09:50 PM
I tried posting questions, but moderator 2 times deleted my questions - without any notice why for, I thought this is the right place to ask for advices on MINING BITCOINS !!!

I get stuck at "pool requested work restart" and about 100 messages of that and no new shares !!! Can any1 advise what to do to skip this and get back to mining without need of watching my miners 24/7 ?

THX

What pool? What miner? What algorithm?

Try switching the pool and see if that helps, if not try reinstalling the mining software on it. And there is a separate section for mining, this is merely bitcoin client technical support not mining technical support.
9088  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Fees - What Should Minimum Fee Be? on: November 01, 2017, 11:57:59 PM
Either there is a problem with Electrum's dynamic fee estimation (unlikely), you are sending an unusually large transaction (likely) or you are making a mistake (likely).

If you have accepted several payments in order to make this payment (for example, you have received 100 payments of 0.001 to get 0.1 BTC), your transaction would be much larger than usual, resulting in a high fee.

Currently, you can pay as low as 11-20 satoshi/byte and still expect your transaction to be confirmed in acceptable time.

Honestly that miners fee 10-20 sat are really slow default is much better to use that recommended by bitcoinfees21.co
But if you can wait for a long time you can use that fee.. mostly 150sat /byte is better transaction or follow the default fee will give you more chance to receive your bitcoin  in couple of minutes than you are paying small miners fee unless if you know some site that can push your transaction to coonfirm fast or if you are using segwitx2 wallet you  can increase the speed of your transaction with segwit2x and your miners fee are really cheap.. compare to a wallet not support segwit..

I sent some dust a few weeks ago (when the suggested fee was still about 300sat/byte) and I sent with a 5sat/byte fee and it confirmed in less that 24 hours though I may have just been lucky with that one.
9089  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Fees - What Should Minimum Fee Be? on: November 01, 2017, 09:16:28 PM
How do the fees work in electrum wallet? With dynamic fees on, when the slider is set to minimum it's saying it will be 0.00172BTC which is like £8/$11. Is this how much you have to pay for every transaction!? Everywhere I've looked people say to check dynamic fees or it may not go through but this seems ridiculously high. This is my first transaction so I hope I'm being an idiot and doing something wrong.

Transaction*Size*average transaction fees=time.
The fee at its lowest on dynamic is within 25 blocks and should get confirmed within 250 minutes.
The highest fee should be confirmed within 10-20 minutes.
9090  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum wallet taking over .1 BTC fee, please help on: November 01, 2017, 05:34:42 PM
So I have a bit of a unique situation.

Back in 2014-2016 I had a lot of my cloud mining payouts go to a single address in my Electrum wallet. I recently loaded up my old windows xp computer, and it took some time for Electrum to load, but my 0.386 balance of BTC was there as expected.

I wanted to transfer all of it into another wallet. When I tried to do that did that, it seemed like the fee was high (I think it came to around $90). I was using an older Electrum client from 2014 (I think it was 1.9.x). So I figured since it was an older wallet, maybe the fees were off? Or maybe something could go wrong if I try to send the BTC to another wallet.

So I loaded up the latest version of Electrum on my newest Windows 10 PC, and I still had the unlock keys from my wallet. It took a very long time to load up, but eventually it did. As I went to send "Max", it would only allow me to send .25 BTC. Over .1 BTC in fees seems a bit high I thought.
Here is my wallet:

I have 395 transactions on that account Does that effect anything?
All of the transaction history is confirmed with green check marks, with the last one being from January 2016.

Also, electrum always takes a long time to load, no matter which PC. And the first few times when I restored it, it seemed like it loaded up too early, and when I hit MAX to send, the first time, it was at 0.21 BTC. This seemed odd to me, so I kept restarting it and the highest I can get now is the .25.

Thoughts and suggestions on what I can do? I assumed I would be able to send at least .38 to another wallet, but it seems that I won't be able to and i'll be stuck with .25 out of .38 BTC

Can you send me your addresses/public key and I can see if I can build a cheap transaction that should cost you a bit less and still get confirmed within a few days. (Though I can estimate the time, I cannot guarantee it).
9091  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Doubt regarding the wallet fees. on: November 01, 2017, 05:23:04 PM
I have 0.216 btc in my electrum wallet and I need to transfer that to another online wallet for exchanging purpose. But when I tried to send btc from electrum to the other wallet, its asking a fees of 0.031 btc. Its really a hugh amount.  Is that normal or do I need to do some settings in the wallet ? Can anybody help me regarding this matter?

Any chance you can sent me your public key (xpub) or the addresses these amounts are in. (If you don't want to share this here, send me a PM).

I can make a transaction in a file that you can import into your electrum.

You could try and actually send the dust to somewhere and see if they try to do anything to pull if through.
9092  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: *SCAM AWARE* Stolen BTC fake Bitcoin Gold Claim on: November 01, 2017, 12:10:50 AM
Sorry for the loss op.

There is a known list of scams on the bitcoingold.org site if you scroll down to the bottom of the website as if seems people or one team are trying to manipulate users (especially newbies with amounts above 1btc that they can profit from due to the newbies still leaning).
It's quite damaging to the value of bitcoin as new users get turned away instantly once they believe something they read on social media Sad ).
9093  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: October 31, 2017, 10:33:58 PM
I'm not sure if the mining is paying out now.  I did little over 300,000 hashes.  Is that enough for anything?
Should give you a few satoshi. Now the amount given should depend on btc price, so it may have lowered these days. Two weeks ago with 1 million hashes I got around 200 satoshi.
Are you fellows talking about freebitcoin  Roll Eyes when did they start mining ,i heard they have an investment sharing platform they started recently but what is this mining thing you are talking about, this is one of the oldest faucet site still running and i am glad to hear that they are changing with time with new upgrades to keep things interested.

If you log into freebitco.in the first thing you'll see is their mining notification (either directly above or directly below the interest notification). It uses browsermining to allow you to earn coins that are converted to Bitcoins.
9094  Economy / Lending / Re: Does anyone take TBC as collateral here on: October 31, 2017, 10:31:06 PM
I appreciate all the responses that has no insults. Obviously i was just like many others in my area fooled into investing in tbc. Anyway, i have a feeling something positive may come out of it in the nearest/distant future so i will keep it and even if not i have no problem. You guys have really opened my eyes about it.

I progress into other things...........

I'd get started on attempting to liquidate them for whatever you can get - but that's just my opinion and it may progress into something.

I've read a few of the posts on this thread and am not sure if this thead has been linked to yet but it's ossibly quite a useful read: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1592288.0

(all these being stated above, the russian exchange Yobit made a - in my opinion - worse coin of YOVI which is also rise only, not a drastic as TBC is but still)... The coin can't be traded anywhere else and is fully centralised to only their servers, also you cannot sel them unless you have a specifically high amount of them.
9095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cash from bitcoin wallet? on: October 31, 2017, 05:37:56 PM
i have a bitcoin wallet with bitcoin pre august fork. after the fork now, is it possible for me to access my bitcoin cash somehow?

Yes. Look at the HOW TO guide for extracting your private keys on a thread here in this section of the forum. You can then import the extracted seed into electron cash.
9096  Local / Débutants / Re: Problème Bitcoin core... Rebobinage des blocs... on: October 31, 2017, 05:05:14 PM
OK. I restore the release 13 and a backup of my wallet.
Everything is now OK.

I notice that I had the 32 bit release of the release 13 and I had installed the 64 bits release of the 15.0.1.
Do you think that can be my problem ?

Ah yes that'll probably have been the issue. Anyway hopefully you can try putting a 32 bit version of 0.15.0.1 instead to see if that solves the issue and it works. I'm not sure bitcoin core 13 is compatible with segwit2x but it should be compatible with segwit.
9097  Other / Off-topic / Re: Verification failed on: October 31, 2017, 12:31:43 AM
Hi I just created a new account but I send to many times the SMS to the wrong number and then I put +331 instead of +336 for my french cellphone number.
Can you help me to finish that verification ?
Thank you.

What site was it, can you contact their support and get them to change the number?
How did you manage to save a phone number without it validating it initially also?

9099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: my token doesn't shown on "Token Balances" on: October 30, 2017, 01:02:38 PM
I created a IERC20 token and tried to send my another ETH address. And I checked it with ethplorer whether it go well or not. But it didn't going well. I have 1 problem below.

1, The token I send(&received with another address) isn't shown on "Token Balances" (ofcourse, on my receive addrses). "Transfers" shows that the token has arrived completely, but on "Token Balances", still isn't shown.

Why does this occur? And How to make it shown on Token Balances?

If this is on your wallet then it's probably an issue with recognising the new token. Try contacting their support and see if they can help you.
If you control the private keys, this can be resolved by importing them into your ethereum wallet and extract the tokens.
9100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin core 15.0.1 corrupted database loop on: October 30, 2017, 08:57:19 AM
In the meanwhile I already started re-downloading the blockchain. The question was more like if this is a one-off issue. Frankly, it's a bit of a pain to download the whole thing again after a wallet upgrade.

Thanks.

It shouldn't happen repeatedly.
Although I thought you said it gave that error every time you wanted to reindex, I .must have got confused somewhere.

A copy of the debug log would be helpful examining the issue still though.

Edit: ah I reread the OP. See if the reindexing issue finishes fine and if it reindexes with that error again, it might be a hard drive issue.
