Another crazy thing happened in freebitco.in lottery - user with only 2 tickets won 0.11908959 BTC. It's not first place prize worth 2 btc, but still, it's nice amount of money. Since provably fair lottery was implemented, we can swe quite often that users with extremely low amount of tickets win in the lottery. This time it's possible that was accidental user of freebitco.in who maybe will not return to freebitco.in again. And maybe he even will not realize that he won btc in lottery. I know that every lottery winner got email notification, but manny people not checking their email messages carefully.
If i am not wrong that user should be new account created some time or days ago, as if you can see that out of 10 winners most of them are new account created ids. That is why never recommend anyone to play lottery as it is fully manipulated by the developers. Since they implemented verification process so we can't blame them just because winners are new members on that forum. If you got any proof that developers are manipulating the results then only you say that otherwise, no one will believe you. I do agree that we shouldn't use our money to buy these lotteries just try your luck with the free money site provides. Couldn't have said it better, although the only thing that I kinda disagree with you is that we shouldn't use money to buy tickets. We could gain tickets when we wager certain amount, and wagering twice a high roll with a very high chance would give you lots of tickets and a little bit more profit.

You already gain tickets when you wager btc at multiply btc game : 1 ticket each 500 satoshi wagered actually.

Of course not reading the information on the site and just posting unfounded scepticism is the easier thing to do.

Accounts came here and verified that they indeed won, freebitco.in doesn't invite you or force you to play lottery, its has a option to disable the lottery tickets. Plus doesn't this entire post seem more about jealousy than user winning it. It's already been proven here, plus they have a way to track it to, so I don't think they need to justify or even bother saying anything.

What you all are saying is true but for the past more then 2 yrs i am seeing the results and 90% of the winners are the new users who are either low ticket purchaser or medium but they are the most of them are winners. This you can take it as you want whether i am jealous or ? i dont mind, i am just use to play for some time to kill my boredom and what ever i win or earn i just buy tickets hope one day surely i will win atleast 10th position.

So what are you saying? Would you prefer that low/medium ticket buyers should not win the Lottery? Freebitco.in has millions of users, so in my opinion there will be more entries from low/medium ticket buyers, than high ticket buyers. In theory a higher percentage of low/medium ticket buyers, should stand a higher chance to win, than a few high ticket buyers. Right? A higher ticket buyer will have more tickets, but the low to medium ticket buyers will have a higher combined total of tickets in the pool. There are still high ticket buyers, winning more of the smaller Lotto prizes. ^smile^

I would imagine that a large number of older accounts are now inactive so it's only logical that more of the newer accounts would win more of the prizes. None of that changes that it is a provably fair lottery and every ticket has an equal although tiny chance of winning.

I'm not sure if the mining is paying out now. I did little over 300,000 hashes. Is that enough for anything?

Should give you a few satoshi. Now the amount given should depend on btc price, so it may have lowered these days. Two weeks ago with 1 million hashes I got around 200 satoshi.

How long did it take to acquire the 1 million hashes? If I mine with 2 threads and 30% (to not overload my cpu) i get only 3 hashes/second, so to achieve 1 million hashes it would take me 92 hours lol

Are you fellows talking about freebitcoin when did they start mining ,i heard they have an investment sharing platform they started recently but what is this mining thing you are talking about, this is one of the oldest faucet site still running and i am glad to hear that they are changing with time with new upgrades to keep things interested.

If you log into freebitco.in the first thing you'll see is their mining notification (either directly above or directly below the interest notification). It uses browsermining to allow you to earn coins that are converted to Bitcoins.

this should be well under 100 satoshi, not worth your time you have to realise that money do not come magically out of nowherer and your browser can't earn you anything substantial miningwise you would be better off just claiming the faucet three times in a row but if you don't have anything better to do with your resources, well 100 satoshi is money too,who knows maybe in a couple of years 1 satoshi will be worth 1$ and people were laughing when bitcoin was 0.2$ and look where are we now

PC was quite hot by then already. After that never run again because it is not worth for me. Since now prices went up so you may get even lesser satoshi for the same amount hashes mining.

That's why many people prefer to claim the faucet only instead of using the mining feature. It will be just a really bad idea to use the mining, but I wonder how many people using it because I see some people support this feature as a great feature to earn free satoshi without doing anything.

I personally use it a fair amount, and run it on my work computers with 4 threads at 80%, getting 40-50 H/s. It's pretty decent, I've gotten about 20,000 satoshi total so far from using it!

How long you've been browser mining? it takes like a month to mine ~30k satoshis with 50 h/s. just want to know if one gets more when using freebitcoin.

I use it sometimes when on a computer at work, as I let open the freebitco.in page to claim every hour. Another tab is mining, around 200 satoshi every 12 hours with 30 H/s last time I've mined, mid October. Should give you a few satoshi. Now the amount given should depend on btc price, so it may have lowered these days. Two weeks ago with 1 million hashes I got around 200 satoshi. How long did it take to acquire the 1 million hashes? I use it sometimes, at work, as I have a browser opened at all times. A tab has freebitco.in opened for me to claim each hour, another tab is mining. Mid October, I had around 200 Sat with 12h mining at 30 H/s.
