I never did gambling with people I just met, so I never got friends from gambling. But gambling with friends often happens, but only with old friends not with new people known.
IF you can call betting with as gambling, We sometimes bet money on who will eventually win in soccer console game, that's how my friends and i gamble. Gambling with friends while playing console games is the most common thing teenagers do everywhere. Because playing the game console is a fun thing, and include money bets in it to make the atmosphere play more fun. I think that's cool and I've seen many teenagers and even adults do that it it normally ends up in arguments and fights because they don't readily enter into an agreement before they gamble and some don't even have escrows so all they do is verbal bets and that can result is a fight if one party refuses to pay after a loss. That is the worst case scenario with betting with your friends. I myself experience this because my friend refuses to pay and said to me that our betting was just a joke. It was a bad experience because you play good and ending up screw but it's good too that the betting game is not ended on a fight. Sometimes it will happen too on others if they do not set rules for betting. To avoid this they must do a rules or they money that goes to betting are in the hands of other people so the fight or commotion will less likely to happen. If you lose just accept it. It's not the worst, not even bad. You're just not firm in making deals. Joking is often out if gambling console games with friends, but if you are firm in making a deal, in the end he will also pay. If you lose, you better pay up because that's how you are going to betray yourself, not just others but LIFE itself. You are a traitor if you don't keep your word, don't be so happy that you are running away with something, that's just disgraceful. |

Define "wisely" in gambling, there is no such thing like that in gambling since we don't know if we are going to win or not, it all about taking the risk stuffs, i.e. in playing DICE, we are getting random rolls on it, that is why we are also putting our bets small and big randomly, and losing is the reason why gambling is wrong in my opinion, because if we are just using this money on Trading then at least we could assure ourselves that we could really get something in return. Yes, what wise gambling is like? Many people say gamble wisely, but until now not yet I do not know how wise in gambling it? Because here we play a game that the result is very random.The risk is too big too which I think makes gambling is wrong. Probably they are talking about money management or bankroll management, because if you think about it, that's going to be the one that makes sure that you would still have money or probably the one controlling your temptations to gamble, seeing it should make you stop (if you have lost a lot of times). I live in a religious country which considers gambling to be "Haram". But I, personally, do not care if it is Haram or not. I do not think that being a gambler is shameful, but I do believe that being addictive to gambling is shameful because you could lose all of your money, fortune, health, and behavior due to it. Added to that, gambling is fun when you organize your time and money, especially money.
yes, In Islam Gambling and Masturbation are considered as Haram and it is believed that Allah will punish with the toughest mechanism for that. I personally being Muslim still play sometime as my friends also do. personally i feel that Religion should be kept out of this topic as it can agitate some minor people. Well, if you know gambling is haram, you know your religion forbids gambling, then why do you still dare to gamble? Even if you do not think of it as sin, you still sin. It's not to interfere with your affairs, sorry, but if you believe in your religion, you know what to do. If you are Islam, then you shouldn't. (I don't really know what religions are prohibiting it). There are a lot of religions like Hinduism, probably they don't want to do anything with gambling. Why is someone get addicted to gambling once he gamble ?
Well I guess the thrill, excitement, fun and etc. that they get whenever they play, Keeps them from doing it again and again. Also, to add the fact that they adapt to the idea that you could easily earn money in gambling. People become addicted in gambling because of the reason that they can get instant earn money by just playing. Yes ofcourse thrill and excitement, actually many people has been addicted into gambling. And cant stop from playing into it, but for sure they will realized that they have more loses of money than pure fun. That's IF you always win. For a normal person, gambling should be taken as just entertainment, not a reliable source of income. When you try to gamble and you win, you will feel happy, but when you lose you will be irritated and annoyed resulting into a long time that you wouldn't gamble (that's for normal people). People who are addicted probably would play more to recover their losses, but that's not ideal in my opinion. |

I do gamble online, and I think the best part of it is when you are playing with someone that you know. When I tried gambling for the first time, I didn't expect to manage my bankroll and just played with it, and I was out for just a few minutes, I didn't earn anymore with it what I deposited back then, it's something that I forgot to understand and learn. Gambling is just a way to keep on spending hence I am not wondering on seeing how big his debts are. When a gambler, goes out of control, we may see this type of stories happening. Getting into gambling is not a big mistake but getting addicted to it must be a lifetime mistake. If you do that mistake then recovering from that mistake will never be possible that is the reason many gamblers are committing suicide. Having many debts and thinking how could they managed to solve all of their problems had made them a very unreasonable people. What happened in the Philippines proved that even innocent lives can be taken if an addicted gambler does an immoral action for his own sake. With the death of the gambler, his family is the one who is suffering from all of his bad actions. I could hardly imagine that his kids are being bullied because of what he did. It's the temper that is needed to watch out especially if the person is easily getting irritated, that's a sign of an addicted gambler. If you are losing, I think it's okay to get frustrated or mad but not all the time, some people have their issues that they do that because they wanted to have an outlet for their anger.
