Social aspect of gambling - do you ever gamble with a friend?

Many people find gambling a bad habit because of many various reasons. One of them is the fact that gambling is considered to be an asocial activity. But are they right? Do you really think that gambling is making you asocial? Or it's the right opposite? Have you ever find new friends while or thanks to gambling? Do you ever gamble with someone else? Would you take part in some kind of a team based tournament? Or can you think about anything that could make gambling more social activity? Maybe we can change this with your help!

I never did gambling with people I just met, so I never got friends from gambling. But gambling with friends often happens, but only with old friends not with new people known.

I have gambled with my friends back in the past but its not in an online site  but in a physical gambling place . It's fun since you will meet some new people but the pros is since I'm with my friends (close ones), I am more tempted to use more money there rather than gambling in an online site .

So why is that? obviously because:

Well, yes. Wagering tournaments are a problem. We have had some hard time thinking about the slots tournament that would be better lately. gambling doens't make me asocial as it's only a little part of my life, but i've gamble with my friend sometimes, either sportgambling or playing card (is this count?). Never make new friend but usually we know each other in the chat and just say hi and talk a little to each other.

Gambling with friends is good till one gets winning. I used to participate into ​gambling events with my friends and once experiencd a big loss because of selecting odds with the suggestion provided by my friend. Later on decided to bet on my own decision even when they're along with me.

online friends will never be as good as when you have a real friend in real world . they can take benefit from you anytime and even scam you once you have put a high trust on them , so becareful on making friend online , i have bad experience about that anyway.

for those people who get addicted , they frequently become asocial indeed but as long as you gamble in the righ way , there is nothing to worry about.

If you meet same partner that have same habit for gambling, you can win a lot of money if you guys can co-operate
Ofcourse there will be some risk if you're friend got blame because the gambling is loss , something bad like killing each other may happen.
For me personally, I'm prefer to bet alone rather with my friend

Yes, sometimes it's better to make decisions yourself and play alone so that you do not quarrel afterwards because of losses.

Yes. I do gamble with friends. When it comes in sports we do bets so that one of us can win. But in other gamble games, i prefer not to gamble with friends to avoid fights if the one choose then it's failed. I prefer just only myself to gamble to make a better decision and to void regrets.

I do play with my friends but not in 'player vs opponent' type of gambling. I've experienced that before and I must tell you, you and your friends may enjoy it from the start but you will surely be real-life opponents in the end.

yes i did that and i have been gamble with my friends several times by playing traditional card and we did it also with low bets because we did that only just for fun and won or lost it doesn't matter for us

Small amount betting will not break relationships. but if you do big amount betting with your friends then it may be possible. In money matter, people will not care for friendship and any relationship. Gambling with friends would give more fun and also you will face problems if you both travelled too far. Just play with small capital then I guarantee you both will get nice entertainment.

Moving on this topic i did gamble with a friend now because we do share our instinct regarding with the team and what is the advantages then we both shared our assessment and look for any given possibility before betting.

If you gamble more than you can afford to loss, then gambling could be considered as anti social activity. Losing anything just for fun is really a bad habit and if you become addicted to gambling then you are in wrong way.

I have gambled many times with my friend, I used to play cards with them for just fun with very low bet size and I don't think this will be considered as anti social activity.

I gamble alone as most of my friends don't gamble. Gambling alone can keep you from being distracted by your friend.
This is the advantage of gambling alone. Another reason is you do need have anyone discussing on the gambling result. It can be frustrating to hear your friend winning when you are losing.

Of course I do. Though it would mostly be when going to casinos rather than online gambling. I think more people are actually gambling with their friends when they travel to real casinos because it's a lot more fun rather than going there by themselves. That's one pf the things that for me, makes real casinos better than online because there's real interaction between real people

Well, i think playing gambling it give us a social concept. You meet different type of the people and also being a part of the social activities.But about the friends, now i know about bitcoin online gambling, because of my friends they were playing and than i also started it and now i am a part of these activities and i feel enjoy whenever i play gambling with my friends.
