9101  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase: Instant Transactions on: September 03, 2013, 10:32:52 PM
If someone verifies to level 2, then empties bank account, instant buys 50 btc, then never pays, how can this be stopped? Cpinbase takes 2 days to take the bank funds....but they give 50 btc instantly?  Sounds like coinbase open to get scammed.
To get "Verified, Level 2", they essentially get your personal info. If you attempt to scam them, they know who you are and will go through approved venues (collections, etc) to get their money back. It's why they can do Instant BTC, they know who you are and where you live.

you might also get reported to the 5-0 for wire fraud...

You will be reported for fraud. When I asked they said nothing about collections, just fraud.

9103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The birth of SparkleCoin (SAC) on: August 27, 2013, 09:52:46 AM
We at BayAreaCoins are excited for the release of this new coin.

We are currently accepting name request for the Myfreecams account that Klye will be using. Feel free to PM me with any idea's.

You may ask:
Since when does Myfreecams support guys putting sparklers in their butts??? Answer: They don't! But, as the founders of SparkleCoins, we understand sometimes you have to color outside the lines to be noticed.

We hope for a huge turn out in the community.

Respectfully,
BAC

9108  Economy / Gambling / Re: How I Turned 50 satoshi into 12 BTC using InsanityDice and Bitcoin Minefield. on: August 07, 2013, 08:31:36 AM
I now will give a great advice for everyone whining about threads such as these:

DO NOT POST IN THEM, AND IGNORE OP.

It's now too late, obviously, but next time, YOU DO NOT FUCKING POST YOUR REPLY.
Simple as that.
I'm going to lock it, I figured it would have died by now.

Edit: I thought this was my post, damn Subject is about the same
9109  Economy / Gambling / Re: How I Turned 50 satoshi into 12 BTC using InsanityDice and Bitcoin Minefield. on: August 07, 2013, 08:20:46 AM
That's right, I started with just 50 Satoshi's and turned it into 12 BTC with a simple gambling technique.  I plan to outline some of it right here, but I can't give up everything.(without sufficient bribery)  Now this can't just be done over night.  It actually took me several days.

Step 1:
Start with knowing how much BTC you would like to risk, actually not so much risk as invest.  Take a look at the balance of your wallet, or if you don't have any BTC consider how much you would like to buy.

........

Stay tuned for more.

Come to drop your bitcoins on just-dice please.

Love just-dice, changed the way I see BTC gambling.
9110  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Found a error on Bitbook.biz and Now they steal 15.1 BTC *Refunded* on: July 26, 2013, 02:02:28 AM
I used addi (Owner of satoshibet.com) to escrow the fact I found the information.

I thought that was the best part.

(Btw the fact that I've made this post is escrowed with Mr. Teddy, owner of The Toyhouse Mansion.)

Good!  Wink Grin and the person who said they added them to some scam site. That is not needed, they covered it. Locking this thread.

9112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinbase question on: July 20, 2013, 02:37:47 AM
i used instant as well and the BTC is long gone & they are saying they didnt get paid from my bank...even though all the money I initially used is still in the bank. Now they are saying I owe them more than I initially bought....What should I do?

More than you bought? Seriously? They just requested I deposit 15BTC back, keep us posted. Maybe copy/paste the email of them requesting more than you bought...
9113  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 400BTC CASH IN PERSON ONLY | Can buy ticket for you - San Fran Bay on: July 20, 2013, 01:49:51 AM
Yeah that 95 per was a couple days ago when price was higher - now I would prefer people to PM me offers. And sublime I would love that but still would prefer just person 2 person transactions; I will let you know if I change my mind. I just am not too keen on anyone knowing my address and how many BTC I have. Paranoid I know; but I would rather be safe than sorry!

John

I understand that and dont want to know any of your details. Maybe you could arrange an address other than your home for me to mail too. I would fly to you but cant have that much down time and generally dont buy more than 1 k at a time. I own another business and would rather invest in inventory for it than BTC.. much less risky and better returns. Think it over and let me know. Thanks for your consideration.

It is a felony to mail cash
9114  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase: Instant Transactions on: July 20, 2013, 12:54:21 AM
I made a instant transfer, but I used the wrong account.  In result my 15BTC was canceled. I had 7BTC in my account (which Coinbase took back.) They sent me a e-mail saying I am responsible for sending the remaining 8BTC. I am going to of course, but what happens if I didn't.... Coinbase is not a licensed Money transfer business to the best of my knowledge so I just can't see them taking anything to court.

Seems strange.  If I would have lost my BTC gambling I would be SOL seeing that Coinbase only offered me to pay them back in BTC not cash.

Also why is coinbase $5.00 under MTgox? I thought it was pegged

Edit:
Or starting on a Thursday purchasing 50BTC through Sunday because the ACH wouldn't show returned until Monday. Causing coinbase a lose of 200BTC.

It just seems so weird to me...
9115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinbase question on: July 19, 2013, 10:11:16 PM
I have a question about Coinbase as well....

A: I thought the price was pegged to MTGox.com  Just on a quick check right now Coinbase buy/sell is about $5.00USD less that MTGox... (?) wtf.

B: Instant transfer. I made a instant transfer, but I used the wrong account.  In result my 15BTC was canceled. I had 7BTC in my account (which Coinbase took back.) They sent me a e-mail saying I am responsible for sending the remaining 8BTC. I am going to of course but what happens if I didn't.... Coinbase is not a licensed Money transfer business to the best of my knowledge so I just can't see them taking anything to court.

Delivered to the minute with me.  Your transaction should say Friday at such and such time. They will be there on the minute.
9117  Economy / Gambling / Re: How I Turned 50 satoshi into 12 BTC using InsanityDice and Bitcoin Minefield. on: July 18, 2013, 09:16:21 AM
I am truly getting tired of these POINTLESS threads here in the gambling section. Can we please instill a moderator for the section or something? Someone that can get rid of these "martingale win stories, repeat threads of gambling vendors such as insanity dice, and referral links". Its truly getting annoying.
But KOS is nice and posts useful/interesting stuff. Unlike others (*cough* you)
Not (1)nice/(2)useful IMO...
EDIT: add /(3)interesting to that as well.
Edit again: Three strike, you're out and chances are I would have bet on you  Cheesy
9118  Economy / Gambling / Re: How I Turned 50 satoshi into 12 BTC using InsanityDice and Bitcoin Minefield. on: July 18, 2013, 08:29:30 AM
I guess I shouldn't post my "Dabs Gambling Strategies" here huh.... ok. I won't.. It's insane by the way, but I still managed to get 2 "investors". hehehe..

All in fun.

Better not post it or KingOfForums will be on your ass like a spider monkey!  Roll Eyes
9119  Economy / Gambling / Re: How I Turned 50 satoshi into 12 BTC using InsanityDice and Bitcoin Minefield. on: July 18, 2013, 08:07:23 AM
OP I thought your Subject line was my post a few days ago, about word for word...

But that shits all over my .443BTC to 20+ (then giving it back, well at least 13BTC) Be cool to see your blockchains.

KOS I am getting sick of you, take your Brown Nose negative post else where. I am jacked for him if he actually did it.

Shouldn't you bet betting on a tennis match that is Edit-500-200 and then bragging about your win record... seriously
9120  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 400BTC CASH IN PERSON ONLY | Can buy ticket for you - San Fran Bay on: July 18, 2013, 03:51:51 AM
John,

I am talking it over with investors this evening. I am sure by the time we get the OK that you will have them sold, but I wanted to let you know we are in the process of working on it.

Thanks,
BAC
