9121  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Lucky coin Idea on: February 22, 2021, 04:55:27 AM
The full two bitcoin prize is still sitting there on someone's lucky coin.

How sure are you of that? I’m not sure those 2 BTC were ever on a coin and with no provably honest way to verify that the funding was done truly randomly, I’m sure anyone ever had a chance to win. Check the OP’s trust history. It explains in further detail.
9122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 22, 2021, 04:50:29 AM
Lonzo Ball has been playing like a man possessed since the trade rumors about him started heating up. I think it would be a shame for the Pelicans to let him go. I think him and Zion could do big things, so it’s weird they’re pursuing a future with guys like Ingram and Bledsoe. Almost seems like they’re expecting Zion not to sign an extension from his rookie contract to test free agency, which he should.
9123  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deontay Wilder: He makes another WILD conspiracy theory about his loss to Fury on: February 21, 2021, 07:55:38 PM
I watched Fury's interview with Mike Tyson on his podcast the other night.  I was surprised to learn that Fury was only 1lb when he was born and managed to get up to over 400lbs at his heaviest.  That's got to be one of the most amazing human growth stories of all time...  The guy has been through a lot growing up as a gypsy and from hearing his story it is easy to see how he got to where he is now.  The guy has been a fighter since his first second on this planet.
9124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logan Paul moving to Puerto Rico, fight back on? on: February 21, 2021, 07:53:51 PM
I don't think Logan Paul's decision to move to Puerto Rico is connected to his possible match against Floyd Mayweather. I guess it is purely about avoiding high taxes. If it were connected to the potential Mayweather match, the arrangement of the fight should already have been ironed out. But I think it has not yet reached to that point so why would Logan make a huge decision on the basis of something not sure to happen?

That was sort of my point.  Watching him discuss his move on his podcast, it is clear the move is about taxes.  You'd have to be expecting a big payday to do something like that.  For that reason I think the fight will happen.  If not, he's uprooting his entire life to move away from his friends to someplace he is certain to make less money and become less popular.  Knowing the kind of person he is, this would only happen if he's going to get the payday of his life.
9125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Logan Paul moving to Puerto Rico, fight back on? on: February 21, 2021, 09:21:23 AM
Logan Paul announcing he’s moving to Puerto Rico to save on income taxes seems to me like a move one would make if they were planning a big payday. That makes me think the fight with him and Mayweather may actually happen.  That or he’s got some other big business moves in the works, but I can’t think of any.

What do you think? Will this fight still happen?
9126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When to sell BTC compared to your net worth? on: February 21, 2021, 09:16:11 AM
The more the market goes up, the more people want in and the less they want to sell. It is difficult to decide when to sell as there are so many factors at play. I never sell more than I need to fulfill some of my assigned goals.

That’s a good plan. I’ve found it’s usually better to be too late than too early when it comes to selling Bitcoin. Not by years or anything, but waiting a few months for the dust to settle after a big run will usually lead to realizing more gains when it comes to BTC.
9127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will replace the Silver Marketcap on: February 21, 2021, 09:13:39 AM
A lot of money is moving from gold to silver right now. I wouldn’t be surprised if the silver market cap rises quite a bit from here. Granted Bitcoin will as well, but it might require Bitcoin to hit 100K if you want to see it surpass silver.

Do you believe in time travel?

I told you in a few years.

Reports stating that DeMarcus Cousins is about to part ways with Houston. He’s played pretty well this year. I think he’s a perfect fit for the Lakers. The Nets might have to try and grab him just to keep him away from the Lakers. He’s the big man presence they’ve been missing since Dwight Howard left.

Interesting if Lakers will pick him up to beef up their thin line up in the middle. Gasol performance went down this season, I think Dwight or even McGee was a perfect fit for the Lakers back then. Cousins numbers with the Houston Rockets is not that bad, but we don't know what will cost the Lakers if they try to pursue Cousins at this stage.

I totally agree. I have no idea what they were thinking letting McGee and Howard walk away for next to nothing. There must have been issues in the locker room we weren’t aware of because Howard in particular played amazing and ended up signing for pennies on the dollar because of his past issues. Gasol looks ready for retirement. I don’t think picking up his older brother Pau as has been mentioned would help either.

9131  Economy / Collectibles / Re: "What is Bitcoin?" silkscreened posters [SOLD OUT] on: February 20, 2021, 11:43:36 PM
Just wondering whether anyone else still has this amazing screenprint poster? It's been a few years granted. I found mine, still perfectly packaged. I did want the 2016 version but unfortunately didn't get the chance to get one.

I have both versions of this poster framed and they’re hanging up in my house. Nobody ever really comments on them, but they’re a couple of my favorite pieces to look at. I really like the style they were done in and the colors used. It’s very pleasant.

9133  Economy / Reputation / Re: Untrusted feedback on bitcointalk.org? on: February 20, 2021, 11:19:25 PM
Hellot was trying to assist a user in scamming using my escrow. He threatened me via PM and my feedback is very much warranted. I’m not sure what he’s trying to accomplish here, but I stand by the fact that I don’t trust Hellot as a result of his behavior and continuing to cast blame at me for his behavior instead of taking responsibility shows that he hasn’t changed at all. I believe trading with him is a risk, unless you are selling him an item and receiving payment up front.
9134  Economy / Reputation / Re: Tomatocage on: February 20, 2021, 11:13:53 PM
I'd always thought Tomatocage was OgNasty's alt account or QS's, but I don't have any evidence aside from Tomatocage excluding me from his trust list right around the same time OgNasty did, and Tomatocage hadn't even been active for a while when that happened (IIRC; it's been a while).  And I could be completely wrong, but I do suspect the original owner of the Tomatocage account is no longer in control of it--but that's neither here nor there as far as OP's plight is concerned.

Why on earth would I use an alt account? Do you think there’s things I want to say but don’t because of this account? I get your little buddies have an agenda to push but unlike a majority of users here, I don’t hide behind other names to speak my mind. Get that through your dim witted head. I hope I’ve made my point. If Tomatocage and I both excluded you around the same time, maybe you should look at the behavior you were engaging in at the time.

Bumpity bump bump.  Auction ending in a couple hours.  Who will be the lucky winner of this fine bit of shine?  Will doblezero keep the lead out of the gate, or will a challenger appear with intentions of snapping up this silver stamped binary hidden message holding goodness?  Time will tell and it will tell soon.  Good luck to all the fine bidders on this magical Saturday.
9136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Coin? on: February 20, 2021, 10:10:26 PM
"Only if necessary."

That was a bit of a terrifying thing to see.  I am a fan of Elon Musk, but it is a bit scary that someone not scared to fail that has so much influence is guiding people into risky investments.  I think it's likely that a lot of people who can't afford to lose money are going to have their savings wiped out by his doge recommendation if they haven't already and I'm not sure Elon really grasps this.  He may have plans to prop doge up at some point and reward those that held, but who knows.  I'd prefer he spent his time working on Tesla's ambitious projects.

Embiid had a nice night as well. Putting up a 50 piece BBQ chicken special. I don’t know if I’m in the Embiid for MVP camp, but it seems like he’s finally in decent playing shape for the first time in his career. If he can stay healthy and keep getting better he might finally be able to call himself the best big in the NBA.

If you missed the Anthony Edwards dunk tonight, do yourself a favor and look up the clip. They’re calling it the dunk if the year and while I think that might be a bit of a stretch, dude jumped really high and definitely got himself a new poster.

Ross O2.5 rebs + Curry 20+ pts + Ross 20+ pts/reb/ast total odds 1.92

I'm riding with T. Ross as he is being super hot of late, even though Magic have Fournier back in the starting lineup, he should cover any given spread tonight. As for Curry, he did score 40pts against Orlando a week ago, he should be alright for 20 i think.

I have one prop bet for each game today  Shocked Grin, aiming for something like 5 or 6/9, lol wish me luck, this is a bit extreme but i like the challenge.

DEN/CLE, CHI/PHI, ATL/BOS, DET/MEM, OKC/MIL, PHX/NO, TOR/MIN, UTAH/LAC.

Good luck.  6/9 seems like realistic expectations to have.  Ross has always been a good player.  It's nice he's finally getting a chance to show it.  Betting him to score over 20 seems risky to me, but I haven't watched him play lately so I don't really know what I'm talking about.  If he gets the minutes, it's definitely possible.
