9141  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: June 01, 2017, 07:25:55 AM
Holding BTC for long tine is a good way to make money.

I could say that my first BTC when it was 300 usd and I bought quite a lots when it was 600 usd. I still keep buying and it is very good now.
So I could really say that keeping it makes money.

I am looking for more now.

It is always a good way to make money if you are going to hold bitcoin for a long time.

As you wish, you keep on buying some the best thing to do is to hold your bitcoin and good thing that you are aware and keeps on buying.

I have enough bitcoin just for holding and I don't want to spend it or cash it out.

If bitcoin is an pure form of investment for you then its better to hold them for a long term without spending them at a moment as it will take away from you an opportunity of making higher profits so the best choice would be to keep on collecting bitcoins at regular intervals and keep them safe in wallet to make higher profits by selling them when the right time comes.

Yep I'm treating my bitcoins as solid form of investment and I'm believing on this type of strategy for holding it for a longer time.

I'm obviously amazed with those early adopters that hold their bitcoins up til now so I want to do the same thing.

I know this decision will bring me to a better life in the near future.
9142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: June 01, 2017, 07:15:44 AM
Is there such a thing as a wallet that holds more than one type of cryptocurrency? For example:  being able to hold BITCOIN DOGECOIN and perhaps some other altcoins in the same wallet?

If I can remember there is a wallet that is able to hold several crypto currencies but I just forgot the name of that wallet mate.

I have read somewhere a discussion on reddit, I'm focused with bitcoin wallet and those alt coins for their specific wallets so I don't use that wallet.

And most of the time I'm always using a trusted web wallet here in my country.
9143  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: June 01, 2017, 06:58:23 AM
I think the best way is with mining, because with mining we can generate the absence of dependence bitcoin with third parties. And with mining bitcoin we get more save.

Many are saying that mining of bitcoin is not profitable anymore, if you are going to build and start your own mining rig.

But with mining of alt coin is going to be profitable and it is one of the best way for having a steady income.

Many of my friends are making some money with that way and they are depending their daily income with it.

Mining bitcoin is not really profitable these days unless in the long term, it is hard to mine bitcoin which you need a super fast mining rig, you need the latest hardware to give you the best performance and also the best profit. You need to be patient because the first profits that you will get is just to get back what you had used to buy the rig.

Yes it is not profitable anymore especially if you are just a new comer and you want to try out your luck with it, better not to do so.

And to be able to get those nice hardware to have a good mining rig, you need to spend and invest to it with bigger amount.

Better to go with trading on a daily basis with those nice alt coins.
9144  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Anong magandang wallet na gamitin? on: June 01, 2017, 06:47:34 AM

9145  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Which is the best way to promote products or links? on: May 31, 2017, 04:34:34 AM
If you will promote a product or bitcoin related product, this forum is the best place for it.

I remember someone offered to do some sign up with his links and he will give some percentage from the profit he may get from those visitors or task doers.

You can advertise in your signature space about any of the links or products websites. You can also post some deals in the services section if it is something like a job to do. Everyone in this forum is a person who has or was a part of crypto currencies world, so its a great place to advertise your links and products.

You need to identify first who are your target customers. If your target customers are bitcoin people or your product is flexible.

And that can be used by everyone, then you can use your signature for your own product.

Just make sure it will be attractive to the eyes of the people and it can be clickable.

9147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we have a bitcoin day? on: May 31, 2017, 04:01:28 AM
I think the pizza BTC day is the most remarkable one so it should be the official BTC day-I think it will represent the BTC sphere in a great way as it shows how BTC operates and it also started the BTC run as we know it
So pizza day is the best day to be chosen in regards of celebrating BTC's existence

It is the most remarkable day that is about bitcoin. The core devs should make some move for this day to declare as a day of celebration for us.

Or a person or group should make some petition and let other bitcoin users sign or vote for this day, an online petition.

This is the first transaction and it's the history of bitcoin that should be written on the book, laszlo!

9149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 30, 2017, 12:12:25 PM
My opinion is that altcoins will replace bitcoin on the usage level. However I think they will never reach its value. Eventually, after may years bitcoin will end up being some sort of high value collectible.

When it comes to usage level I don't think that alt coin will replace bitcoin on it. This will remain always the top crypto currency.

And if you think that after many years bitcoin will be having a high value, then that will make it more crowd choice.

So it will not be an easy thing to replace bitcoin with alts.

I don't know. I see it like having 3~5 alts for our daily transactions and bitcoin as the ultimate holding. I think it will unfold like cash and gold. Everyone uses and has cash but noone has or uses gold. However everyone wishes he owned some in his bank locker.

There are a lot of popular alts and no doubt that many are being used for daily transactions.

But still that is not enough to make a speculation or outcome that bitcoin can be placed by some other alts.

Because bitcoin is the strongest and no alt have chance against it.
9150  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: May 30, 2017, 11:59:36 AM
Of course not. As the fast development of e-currency, they will become stronger, and Bitcoin is the first e-currency, the strongest one now so it's not easy to be beat

It will never ever die soon. The price itself will tell on how strong bitcoin is. If you are aware and conscious with the price.

And as long as the market cap for bitcoin is big, many will enter to invest in bitcoin that will create another price increase.

Because of it's decentralization it will also make bitcoin to become more popular.
9151  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN HALVING? on: May 30, 2017, 11:34:57 AM
Do someone here know about bitcoin halving?

Most of the people that started bitcoin last year know about halving. Most of us here witnessed the halving that happened last year.

Is there a problem when bitcoin halving hits?

The difficulty for the block reward increases. To know more about it  : https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Controlled_supply

9153  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Invest 2 btc on: May 29, 2017, 03:01:00 AM
be careful investmen with bitcoin, especially with the value very much,
meticulously with correct if investing in any site because later its tip tip is SCAM,
and you will lose 2 BTC.
best regards from me.  Smiley

You are right, everyone should be careful with what OP is offering to the people here. Don't believe shortly if the given figures are high.

It's better to earn the usual way and will receive small amount of money, rather than you are going to hope for a bigger return.

But in the end you will be scammed by these people.
9154  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: May 29, 2017, 02:43:54 AM

9155  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 29, 2017, 01:52:19 AM
Its better to invest it than save it, because it's useless if you save it. But if you invest it even no assurance of income at least you try to take the risk and if your lucky continue, instead of lost maybe you can earn income from this investment.

How can you say that saving it is useless? Both of it are beneficial if you will do it in a nice manner.

But when it comes to fiat money, well I find saving as less profitable but if you will invest it into something profitable it depends.

Well we are in bitcoin so both are good thing to do.
9156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Profit on: May 29, 2017, 12:51:48 AM
With the rapid increase of bitcoin, many exchanges adjusted when it comes to pricing.

But well I saw last time that most of the crypto currencies are on a red signal. It's better to choose to those popular trading exchange.

Like what has been mentioned before, it's better to trade there.

9158  Economy / Speculation / Re: what happened for the market? on: May 27, 2017, 06:49:03 AM
Why the price going down from 2600$ to 1988$?
Is there any poilcy from state?

It just a correction but you don't have to worry about it, expect $3k - $6k will happen for next year.

You can read some good news here - http://www.cnbc.com/2017/05/25/bitcoin-price-correction-record-high.html

Normal price increase has a tail of dumping and so this is happening.
9159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was just dumped down to $2360 on: May 27, 2017, 06:33:28 AM
the dump is overhyped, i tryed to get some btc at 1700$ but it was at 2k so fast again didnt even get it, every decent chart ready says a dump brings you to where you started before the pump, so last floor was 2k so thats where its dumping,  once we reach 3+k it will be a floor of 2.5k and so on, bumpy ride but it will go up Smiley

ps why someone would sell sth for 1700 that was 2800 a few hours before is beyond me..

Exactly, since we reached and seen the price did get pumped to $2,800 then why you would even sell at lower price?

There's no need to do some action today but to keep on holding, if you know and see some history on the chart of bitcoin.

It will tell you just keep on holding as we will see some another price increase very soon.
9160  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're reaching $3,000 soon! on: May 27, 2017, 06:19:37 AM
I don't think it'll go back under $2000 at all. Th enext pump will likely to build upon this pump and this is in my opinion just a short term adjustment. It's a good

It is under $2000 right now but it depends on the exchange. The exchange prices are all over the place, there is $300+ spread between various exchanges. I don't understand why such a large spread should exist.

There are some saying that it's because of the demand on selling is not that high. So they need to adjust and get some higher buying rate.

I'm having an heartache with what's happening to the price decrease of bitcoin but well this is crypto currency, though I'm not a weak one.

I understand that this dump needs to happen in return of the fast price increase that happened recently.
