9141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about blockchain powered cars? on: March 03, 2017, 06:22:02 AM
Recently, I've saw a video that showcased a car that had a built-in wallet, powered by the blockchain. If successful enough, then it could become a revolutionary way to enable autonomous cars that would refuel themselves and drive to any point with the use of the blockchain.

Users would only need to pay a fee in a specific token, to be able to ride the car, all in a self-autonomous way.

What do you think about this? Will this make a huge impact in the future?  Roll Eyes

Are you saying that the payment can be made through blockchain technology or are you saying that driverless cars using blockchain technology. Well, the world is rapidly adopting blockchain technology and it's only a matter of time before this could be a reality. This would actually be nicer, if they even allowed Bitcoins as a payment gateway, cause I would use blockchain only cause of that, do you mind if you share the link to the video want to see it. I am sure Google driverless cars could be adopting such technology, and add Bitcoins to it, just perfect. I am liking the idea only cause of Bitcoin being involved let's hope something like this happens
9142  Economy / Speculation / Re: What to do? on: March 03, 2017, 06:16:11 AM
So what should one do when the price is at a peak or so high as it is at the moment, $1250+ right now. Is it time to cash in?
It is quite obvious that this is not the right time to buy bitcoin so what should be the plan of action at these times?

This question has been on most of the Bitcoin users mind, to cash in cause it's at its peak or hold back for more, it's a tricky situation actually if I may quote Warren, buy when people sell and sell when people buy. It would imply now. Would the time to sell it off. But considering its Bitcoins I would suggest you to hold off, the ETF news is just round the corner and the global uncertainty will always make Bitcoin rise. I can say if you don't have the urgent need of money then don't redeem it. Cause the bull run shall hopefully always continue.
9143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BIT.AC :: MULTICURRENCY WALLET :: BUILT-IN INSTANT EXCHANGE :: Affiliate Program on: March 03, 2017, 04:35:10 AM
If you don't hold your keys you don't hold your coins.....simple

This is the same with all major web wallets out there

There are hybrid wallets (like Blockchain.info wallet) which allow you to keep your keys and use them in desktop wallets, but personally, I consider this approach as very risky, i.e. riskier than using both personal and web wallets. The major reason is that in either of these use cases your private keys never hit the Web. In the case of personal wallet, they are kept on the client side (on your computer), while in the case of web wallet, they are on the server side. With hybrid wallets you are susceptible to the so-called man-in-the-middle attack (even if all the traffic is encrypted). In fact, the Blockchain wallet keys had already been stolen in the past via using a compromised Tor node (or specifically set up by hackers, I don't quite remember which)

Thats scary. Good thing I avoid using blockchain.info.

Anyway I want to ask if I use the Bit.ac wallet for Monero, will I still be using the advantages of having anonymous payments? I know between me and Bit.ac there will be less or no anonymity unless I use a VPN and Tor but for me and the payee, will he know that the XMR payment will come from my Bit.ac wallet?

I don't think you really need a VPN as I feel this wallet will keep your data anonymous, that's the whole concept of this wallets is that they shall protect your data, otherwise why would people use it. And I feel this wallet is even secure and better than coinbase.com so you can use it without worrying and just keep on enjoying the price hike. If you also see its secured enough so I think you can use this wallet and be safe. The only scenario I feel is when the government will force their hands, like if you know about irs and coinbase.com dispute in the USA court but those scenarios are rare.
9144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Schiff being an idiot on national television on: March 02, 2017, 03:08:01 AM
Such fools exist and will always exist. I am sure he is just upset he never got in the early stage of Bitcoin and now seeing it's prices so high he just can't digest the fact how did he miss out on something like this. Guys like him then try and make sure that people stay away and even they don't make a profit. I bet if put to a Stern test he would not even know what a Bitcoin is except it's a currency which is rising, or my second theory is he sold at a low price and is now trying to find ways to effect the price but he doesn't understand he is failing badly and making a fool. Out of himself.
9145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the real originator of Bitcoin on: March 01, 2017, 09:37:40 AM
Satoshi's is the original creator of Bitcoin and he was here on this forum from what I understand. Why do you even ask this question now two years later you suddenly want to know about the originator, and there have been suddenly so many threads have come up first arguing who satoshi's is and now op is asking the originator. I think you really could have Google this answers. And if you questions is towards the identity, so far no one knows who the real person is and that's how it will always be. It was kept for a reason and we all should respect it, even this point has been Disscued so many times.
9146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: March 01, 2017, 04:17:06 AM
Just want know how much the gamblers who use analysis when play gambling and what kinds of gambling game? And do you think it is needed or not making analysis on gambling game or it is depend on lucky. Thanks for share your opinions and experience.

Depends on every game and every person and it changes from time to time. I use analysis when I play on soccer and cricket. The analysis depends in their past matches, their current form, how is the pitch. What is the team morale, who needs the victory more. It will also depend on how much you intend to play that day. Analysis only happens when you are a pro, newbie trying to analyze will mess it up. You need to understand its not a joke to just start analyse and think you are getting it right. It requires through practice and start practice then get into it.
9147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Survey - How much you are willing to pay - Bitcoin Guide on: March 01, 2017, 04:05:34 AM
A guide on Bitcoins, don't really think people will even pay for it now days. The information you want to sell is publically available. One Google search and one has it all. The only way your guide can sell is, if you have some amazing content skills. Then you could have a legendary vouch copy done and his review might influence people to buy your guide. Secondly people won't pay you to know about Bitcoins, this guide has to involve all the earning methods. So it's important you incorporate in that. Or you could have a giveaway offer, saying the random person wins your guide. But it will take lots of skills to sell it. Good luck.
9148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: February 28, 2017, 07:06:31 AM
There is no and I will emphasis on the word no easy way to make profits in gambling. Gambling is a risk in any or all kinds of forms. I don't think you have ever gambled, so would suggest you to drop the idea it will save you lot of bucks. But should you choose to go ahead I would suggest you soccer and cricket. The strategy I use for soccer is the Teams, current scenario and most importantly the emotions. For eg, : I rightly said Manchester United would win Efl, Leicester would defeat Liverpool and Madrid would bounce back after loss. It requires a lot of effort but once you get a hang of it, it is really fun. Similarly same strategy for cricket and emphasize on pitch, weather and the star players.
9149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Association of Canada on: February 28, 2017, 07:01:29 AM
That's one smart corporate move I would say. Change the name, and it's changes the entire concept that people had and it will help them get past the authorities get it cleared from the banks and it will help them get more customers. Also its pertinent to note that, they can market it on two fronts, use Bitcoin currency benefits and also use blockchain technology to sell their concept. This is indeed one of the wisest moves one can see, and they have a mixture of corporate making them, climb the success ladder and if it helps Bitcoins I would give them, a plus one. Let's hope it yields positive results.
9150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 27, 2017, 03:24:33 PM
Leicester Vs Liverpool

I know Leicester has not scored any goal in the league in 2017 but Ranieri just got sacked recently. I am sure the players will perform better under a new manager.Leicester should have no problem avoiding a defeat to a demoralized Liverpool team which has experienced surprising losses to weak teams. I will bet on Leicester +1.

I don't think this match could have come at any better time, firstly it's really sad to see Ranieri go the way he was treated, the players deny they had any involvement, and to some extent it's right, Leicester were supposed to loose around 100 million if they were to be relegated. This is the perfect match for liecsester players and part time coach to make a impact, Liverpool will come in expecting them to be weak, so I feel liecsester have the upper hand, and if they can get their stuff right victory shall be theirs and that's what I forsee tonight, mu money on Leicester who's playing on pool btw?
9151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: February 27, 2017, 07:48:52 AM
With the real Madrid loss and the lead reduced to just one point though there a game in hand the race for the title just seems to get open once more. And the way the barca played last night looks like the title race just got more interesting. With questions about Zidane management also coming in picture, I mean the long term future it will be interesting, though I yet feel Madrid will win the league and it will be interesting if they loose Zidane a club legend will be given the boot out, which will be really sad.
9152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the big names are invested already? on: February 27, 2017, 06:41:10 AM
Of course the big names were already involved, and they would not like to be Known in public it's obvious, one is this guy's would have made several off Shore accounts and they would have made quite a lot of money in Bitcoin as it leaves no Paper trail and no one can catch the owner. Secondly if they would have made it public they would have been harassed by the authorities and would have exposed them to hacking risks. I strongly feel this guy's are there but they have hidden themselves and they are making a crazy amount of money and with this etf Bitcoin price is shooting right through the moon for all of us and they will profit but we will never know.
9153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 27, 2017, 06:27:20 AM
I think Australia and India next match will be keenly contested as India would like to level up the series and the Aussies have the momentum going with them, so it will be interesting to see what happens next. I think Aussies would go in unchanged but team India really needs to change their approach and the team. I think getting one batsman in makes more sense and changing the batting line up is also required to provide more stability. Waiting to see what new changes take place in the Indian side, let's hope for a cracker of a match.
9154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 26, 2017, 04:28:48 PM
Its Cup time, a major cup on the line for both the clubs. Though Manchester United need it more than anything and they will go all the mile. Again Southampton are a good team and they will offer a really tough fight. With Mkhitaryan out I don't feel Manchester United will really be scoring to much. I feel it will be 1-0 Manchester United cause you have Zlatan who will. Want to win a silver and you can count on Mourinho to bring his A game on the field. As a Manchester United fan hoping they win it.
9155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's wrong with Bitcoin? on: February 26, 2017, 07:17:25 AM
I don't know why the Op has called it a attack on the network there are already so many threads on this topic already and another one, have you even seen the price of Bitcoin lately it's touched the sky. Every one has began selling and this was bound to happen due to enormous sales happening. People want to cash out and that's what causing it. The network just fine, just people are getting worried that the transactions are getting stuck and they never will be confirmed, the truth is that they know it will be confirmed, but are worried 😓 that they may get a lower price, so I think people really need to relax and wait for things to cool down. And use. Only one thread for this don't make countless threads on the same topic.
9156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling : Your new strategy will work. But every day you need a new one. on: February 26, 2017, 05:21:17 AM
I am not searching for a shortcut, but trying to figure out where I am lagging.
But I am afraid I may end up wasting half of my life in finding out a perfect strategy.

Probably no or random strategy is the right approach ? or just searching for a new strategy is the real fun in gambling ?

If that's your approach it will be bad for you, as each day you will be so confused what strategy to use and over a period of time you will end up messing up even the basics, what I would suggest you is to. Pick a sport or casino or something you like, to play on and study it, then see whats the best chance of winning it, what would be worst case scenario, play mental bets then see which one is suiting you, then tweak around it and success shall be yours. You need to be really sure, if you want to be having a strategy for each day, it's risky af your choice in the end though.
9157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 25, 2017, 09:56:35 AM
In another breaking news team India has managed to beat team India by two runs while playing against team Australia. I was planning to make a bet on India, considering they came on the back ground of a strong series win but then considering it was Australia and they had a new spinner on knew it was a risk, and I am glad I did not take it. The way team India has surrendered to Australia is sad, they could have at least lasted five days. But due credits to Australia spinners for exploting the conditions really well and taking a well deserved victory, now the series look completely in control of Australia, very difficult for team India to bounce back.
9158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: February 25, 2017, 09:49:19 AM
Man United has a great draw in the Europa League and it seems that their only team that can stop them is Roma. The other teams are not strong enough to beat United if United performed to their best. I hope United can win the Europa League as this will be the first time Mourinho and his team has won a European competition for a long time. Winning the Europa League can also help them to secure Champions League place next season.
manchester united really did not face any strong team after the group phase ,
now they will play against FC Rostov in 16 round ,
it should not be a big problem for them to beat them and through the next round smoothly ,
manchester united now favorited to win europa league , they are on top performance too.

I am big Manchester United fan but to say that Manchester United are just going to cruise in the match and walk away with it, would be a understatement. First of all Rostov haven't lost 35 games at home, secondly they defeated bayern Munich and United will have to travel some distance and again have Chelsea in 4 days so I feel Manchester United are in sheer pressure then Rostov. It will be a difficult match and Manchester United will need their A game on if they have a chance of winning, we need a fit Mkhitaryan on the field and fired up Zlatan. But I do hope United progress and wins the league as that will get us Grizemen and Zlatan to stay for another year.
9159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have Banks conspired to Kill Bitcoin Startups? on: February 25, 2017, 08:39:12 AM
I don't believe that the exchanges closed down just cause the banks pulled the support out of them, think more advance stuff, they obviously were doing something illegal or shady and they came in the eyes of the authorities which In turn forced them to pull a stop on their business. Banks have learnt to exist along with Bitcoins, so I don't see any reason why the Bitcoins exchanges would shut down due to the banks support not there, you should always be careful about this exchanges as this could be lot of problematic if they suddenly close. If there are any investors of the exchanges we will come to know what really happened there.
9160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The BitCoin Cause on: February 24, 2017, 05:11:46 PM
When I read your title I thought you were seriously speaking about a cause, but this is again a thread questioning the way Bitcoin can be used. Look op Bitcoin was created as a currency that was meant to be decentralised and since it's a currency and it can be used any way the people want it, so there no need to find the way it was for or what people can or should do. This is a free currency and it can be used freely so no need to tell people what to do, cause they will do what they wish to do. I feel you should have made a thread to find ways how to spread Bitcoin in the outside world. Especially when plain words are failing to spread the word.
