9161  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 5 US Cops killed on a riot, 2 protesters arrested? on: July 08, 2016, 03:48:09 PM
Against the recent racist attack by the cops of USA has created a big issue over the entire nation. Upon this several protest's were broken over the nation. In a protest 5 Cops were shot dead by 2 protesters.

I have to share a few thoughts about it.
First, I'm really sad about this tragic event, even I'm not American and don't live in America.
It becomes world level event.
Second, I can't understand why is so many incidents between American cops and black community.
There are big black communities in many other countries in the world but we never heard about such tragic incidents.
After all, from Martin Luther King's time already passed over 50 years and USa got first black President.
So,why this racial issue is still unresolved today in America?
Can somebody explain it to me?

9162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins existence has increased the spread of child pornography on: July 08, 2016, 03:30:28 PM
I don't think that this statement is true.
Realistically, in every age we had people who liked child pornography or any kind of pornography.
Before Internet age they couldn't harm to much children but Internet get them great tool to find even more child pornography matrials.
So, shouldn't we stop Internet in order to protect children?
We can't do this, of course since benefit of Internet is much greater that danger which comes with Internet.
It's the same with Bitcoin.
If we stop Bitcoin, this will not stop child pornography, not at all.
It's sad reality that people can use any new technology for the good and also for bad, in the same time.

My pre game bets for Portugal - Wales game:
Portugal v Wales - Match Odds: Portugal @ 2.06
Portugal v Wales - Half Time/Full Time: Draw/Portugal @ 5.10

I doubt portugal will win in normal time, but most likely will win when extra time or even end with a penalty shootout.
but portugal still my favorit to advance to the final Smiley

I agree with you.
Portugal is now like Greece in 2004, with just one important difference, no way they will be able to beat France or Germany in final.
They had to much luck until now and easy ride to the final but this will end soon.
9164  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is European Union more democratic than Russian Federation? on: July 06, 2016, 03:32:20 PM
EU is not perfect but still offers better democratic standards than Russia.
Can you imagine that Putin loose elections in the Russia?
Can you imagine that parliament in Russia have real power to decide about important things?
Can you imagine that journalist in Russia can write freely, without fear to be killed?
Can you imagine that Russia accept international laws and leave Crimea?
Again, EU is not perfect but still offer much better democratic standard than Russia.

9165  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Zuckerberg meets the world's most powerful dictator on: July 06, 2016, 03:24:33 PM
So, why you don't attack President Obama to, because he also met prince Salman?
In fact, USa and Saudi Arabia have very good political and economic relationship?
So, Zuckerberg had business meeting with this man. What is wrong with that?
He didn't break any law, US or international law.
Many countries in the world have very good relationships with Saudi Arabia.
Many companies as well.
Who should decide if some country is not free or democratic country?
You?
By which standard?

9166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Just Too Stupid to Use Bitcoin Right Now on: July 06, 2016, 03:17:54 PM
I think that you shouldn't call people stupid because they don't use Bitcoin right now.
There are many possible reasons why still many people don't use Bitcoin.
Some people don't have Internet.
Some people don't understand English or are afraid to use Internet for finance.
They never heard about Bitcoin (yes, it's true).
They heard about Bitcoin but very negative rumors like that Bitcoin is illegal or used by criminals etc.
So, you can't call all this people stupid but should promote Bitcoin and help people understand more about Bitcoin.

9167  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you like to receive your salary in BTC? on: July 06, 2016, 03:10:01 PM
If you are a BTC lover, would you one day like to get your paycheck 100% in BTC?

Personally I won't. Because many facilities in my area doesn't support BTC payment. Smiley I do not mind receiving, say, 20% of my pay in BTC denomination.
I would not like to receive my salary in Bitcoin because that is just not handy for me at all, I cannot pay my bills and food that way.
So I would just go with a normal currency that exist in that country, maybe i the future when Bitcoin is more known and used I might like it.

I would like to receive salary in BTC only in the case if Bitcoin becomes national currency in my country.
Otherwise, my life will become to complicate and I will not be able to pay bills and other everyday expenses with Bitcoin.
I will need to exchange Bitcoin every day and will also loose part of income through exchanges.
It's the same question if I would like to receive salary in British pounds, American dollar, Japanese money etc.
Unless any of this currencies become new national and official currency and replace our old currency, answer is NO.
9168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: July 04, 2016, 03:04:10 PM
Wales-Portugal can Portugal be first ever team who won title without wining even one single game
my bet is Wales win

Germany-France France to win, they has better strikers

Portugal had so much luck until now and really don't deserve final, even semi final is to much for them.
They passed until semi final like Italy in the ''old days'' without real victory and with strong defense, without desire for open game and attack.
Unfortunately, Wales lost the most important player for semi final, Ramsey, and because of this Portugal have more chance.
In second game, France vs. Germany I think that Germany is better team and have more chance to win.
Until now France didn't play with serious team in this Euro.
Albania, Romania, Ireland, Iceland etc.
They are all second class teams but even with this teams France had a lot problems and a lot luck, honestly.
Germany will be first real teat for them.

9169  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If Jesus could do miracle Pilate would never ever allowed his assassination... on: July 04, 2016, 02:55:01 PM
what is written in the bible ,, it is done, and who is Pilate compared to Jesus, I know that Pilate did not know what they doing, they didn't known what God's plan to humanity, even we.

It's very sad fact that Pilate didn't want to kill Jesus and tried everything in his power to avoid it.
Even his wife send him message and ask him not to kill Jesus.
Pilate even offered to Jews to choose between Jesus and thief, who will be liberated and who will bi killed, with hope that Jews will choose Jesus.
It didn't happen because Jew's priests was very afraid of Jesus and really pushed very hard Pi9late to kill him, even manipulated people in Jerusalem to demand Jesus's death.
If all people wanted his death, what Jesus could do?
Save his life but escape from Israel and forget his mission?
His only choice was to sacrifice his life and continue his mission from spiritual world, and bring spiritual salvation top believers.

9170  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Common law only exists because civil law backs it... on: July 04, 2016, 02:46:59 PM
Exactly the opposite.

When there was the first family - Adam and Eve and Cain and Abel - there was only common law... law common among the people. Then, after the world became populated enough that some of the cousins didn't know each other well enough, they formed civil law by agreement so that they could work together without the problems of having to over-think what their relationship was to each other. The leaders made money, then.

When governments break down, common law still stands. It is often unwritten law that people informally agree on locally.

Cool

I agree that this was God's original plan and ideal for humankind.
Unfortunately, Adam and Eve separated from God and didn't obey his commandments.
As result, we don't have any more one family lineage, language, nation, tradition, culture etc.
Instead of love evil came to the world and created division between people and great chaos during the history.
As result, we have now many different countries, religions, cultures and traditions, and they are all in conflict because they don't know our Heavenly Father and can't look other people as brothers and sisters.
So, common laws really exist in our minds, in our spirits but because of evil history it's covered with a lot layers of evil history, hatred, selfishness, greed etc.
9171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal receiving Bitcoin?! on: July 04, 2016, 02:33:28 PM
I think that Bitcoin have several very good reasons for it.
First is volatility of bitcoin, so they have to be careful not to have financial lost because of Bitcoin.
Second is anonymity of Bitcoin. Paypal have very strict TOS and refund policy but with Bitcoin  they can't know identity of scammer and block his access to Paypal.
Third is that Bitcoin is not yet mainstream and no so many Paypal users also use Bitcoin as payment option.

9172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: July 03, 2016, 03:03:07 PM
In my opinion, the biggest favorites for the title now are Germany and France.
France showed some weakness in the group and also in the match with Ireland, but I think that Iceland can't beat them.
Match between Germany and France will be really final before final.
It's really amazing that Wales will play in the semi final against Portugal but both of this teams do not have a chance against Germany or France in the final.

9173  Other / Politics & Society / Re: European Union on: July 03, 2016, 02:57:14 PM
In the beginning, EU was great vision about united Europe, peaceful world, without war and conflicts, economical cooperation etc.
Unfortunately, in last 20-30 years Europe lost their vision and forgot their goals.
EU become to much bureaucratic, centralized and heavily regulated and because of this people dislike her.
EU also never becomes truly united and their decision process is very complicate and difficult.
Because of this they often can't decide anything and loosing time in fruitless debates that often end up with rotten compromises.
EU should change or they will die soon.

9174  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Germanys dominance over europe on: July 03, 2016, 02:50:58 PM
What will our last hope be?

France or Island? Wink

Are you talking about soccer or politic? Smiley
It's true that Germany is very strong politically or economically but this is because of their leader, Merkel, stable politic system and good economic strategy.
Other European countries don't have such strong politic leaders, stable politic system or strong economy so it's natural t6hat Germany lead them.
So, if someone have to take responsibility and lead, why is bad if Germany and Merkel are such leader and decision makers?
Do you want Europe without any leadership and with politicians which are afraid to take responsibility and decide anything?

9175  Other / Off-topic / Re: You control the Bitcoin network, what is your next step? on: July 03, 2016, 02:39:29 PM
I control the Bitcoin network,  Shocked what are your next steps?

I leave Bitcoin right away and find another, 100 % decentralized crypto currency.
No way I will stay here if Bitcoin become centralized or somebody can control it.
It's against basic idea of Bitcoin, decentralization and freedom.

9176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: July 02, 2016, 03:51:31 PM
EURO 2016 is a fantastic tournament with so many big surprises, like Wales or Iceland.
It's beautiful to see that, until recently, small and insignificant country play such an important role in the championship and to win big favorites as Belgium or England.
Today, I think that Italy will win but it will be very tight match.
I can not believe that Portugal, without a single victory in 90 minutes, has a chance to get into the final.
What sports injustice!
9177  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The less you own, the more you have on: July 02, 2016, 03:44:23 PM
Minimalism + Bitcoin = happiness

I have been living this lifestyle for about 4 years. Everything I own can fit in a carry-on and a backpack (other than a box of childhood stuff at my mother's house). My expenses are about 10% of my monthly income having downsized to a small 35 sqm apartment. I bought a cheap/reliable car, paid in cash (my criteria was something that would last 2 years, good gas mileage and I wouldn't mind walking away from).

By doing this I can focus on the things in life that truly make me happy, last year I traveled to one new country a month. I don't worry about money like I used to. I will probably be able to quit my job in the next few years and do something I enjoy instead of just working for the money. And it has allowed me to accumulate bitcoins. Continuing this lifestyle will allow me to see the world and be independent/free instead of having to spend my life protecting my stuff.

Bitcoin does a lot to help with this lifestyle as I would not be able to be as mobile with gold, moving place to place carrying large amounts of gold across borders while I can carry my private key easily anywhere. I can always find a localbitcoins seller in whatever country I go to to get local currency.

The Less You Own, The More You Have (TED talk)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyKmpyYy14k

Great testimony, thank you for sharing!
I really hope I will be able to quit my job to and live freely, as I want, without everyday pressure and stress on work.
I also have great hope that bitcoin will help me to achieve this dream but also I'm trying to develop my own online busoness as well.
If successful, all my financial worries will disappear Smiley
Hoping the best.
9178  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should England leave the UK on: July 02, 2016, 03:36:31 PM
Sounds stupid. doesn't it. But many of the issues raised by Scotland also apply to England ( including parts of London), Westminster seems to be obsessed with boosting financial companies, and it's at the expense of industry, pensions and the people of the UK. We need to break away from it.

Of course an easier solution would be to elect non-venal politicians, but there don't seem to be many around. The primary function of a politician is to get re-elected, and this is despite the enormous costs to the country.

It's just theoretical question.
In reality, this will not be needed.
Why?
Very simple, Scotland and N. Ireland will choose to leave UK and stay in EU (possible Wales as well) so UK will disappear and only England will remain.
So, United will disappear and only kingdom will left, kingdom England (not sure how long). Smiley

9179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, why do we need to use Bitcoin? on: July 02, 2016, 03:30:58 PM
bitcoin is a technology that is growing today. Well, of course you have to use bitcoin if you do not want to miss the technological sophistication. it's like asking, why are we using smarthphone today. of course the answer because it is something sophisticated and more practical

I agree with you.
In fact, I think that Bitcoin is even more special and important than just new technology or technological sophistication.
It's more like revolution or way of life, how I see it.
Until now, for average people was very difficult to achieve financial freedom or get rid from banks Smiley
Banks and big financial institutions monopolized finance and money in the world.
Now, for the first time, people can bypass banks and financial institutions and control directly their money, and also achieve their financial dreams.
Bitcoin is decentralized, no government or banks involved, and because of this everyone should use Bitcoin.

9180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it legal to earn and hold bitcoin ? on: July 02, 2016, 03:14:38 PM
Very interesting question.
In my country, Croatia, I asked it several people and researched on many different places.
Final answer is: yes.
Basically, Bitcoin is not recognized as legal currency or financial asset in my country.
It's only when I decide to exchange Bitcoin to ''hard'' money as USD and withdraw to my bank account that I have to report it to my tax office as ''second income'' from abroad (and pay tax on this income, of course).
