9161  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think its the right time to sell Bitcoin ? on: December 27, 2017, 04:54:16 PM
Do you think it will be the best time to sell as there are two kind of speculations one says the value of bitcoin will reach $20,000 by 2018 and there are also speculations that the bitcoin might go through a dump in upcoming days but i know we cannot believe into random predictions by random users due to the volatility of bitcoin but i need some suggestions whether to hold on to bitcoin or sell it out and invest some of it into altcoins and then wait for the price drop to reinvest into bitcoin which i am not sure will happen or not.

this is not the right time because it's cheap so take advantage of the opportunity when the cheap price to buy as much bitcoin as you can because january bitcoin will also experience hardfork again.
Yeah, the value right now is cheap and bitcoin has decided to give some of us some discount to be able to buy at dips. No one knows if there is a possibility of seeing bitcoin back at the lower support level than the one we have presently, but that would still be a good time to buy rather than rushing to sell because I am sure it would not take long before it gets bought up quickly.

Bitcoin is already trying to show sign of trying to break the previous resistance, so the best thing to do right now is to use the opportunity one has to get the best value or wait until there is a clear breakout.

There is no need to rush into buying or exiting, it is best to just wait for the right position to do that and from the present angle, exiting would have been better at first when we hit the $19800 and not now that bitcoin is trying to make a move up.
9162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your mentality after a huge loss? on: December 27, 2017, 02:29:10 PM
What to do after a big or small loss is to stop trading and document every thought process and activities that led to that loss! Date the loss event and analyze it thoroughly so that you can learn what not to do next time you are trading! You can also use ALGORY.IO trading tools to assist you in your trade!
Exactly, there is always that thing about documentation when it comes to trading, because every little thing and decision to either winning or failing in a trade matters and it is usually good to go back into checking most of these things to know better what to always do during a trade in the future.

Usually for a naive trader, there is usually no way one may not experience this huge loss, but over time, when one learn from experience, it would be hard to experience such a thing again.
9163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Volatility on: December 26, 2017, 06:17:46 PM
Volatility is over? Nothing is moving? What are you looking at? :-)))))

Even in the most relaxed moment, there is more volatility in a day in crypto that in a year in forex!

Look better, and you'll see plenty of opportunities.
Its not over volatility is always in the crypto market. This is why most investors like the volatility the price is always active and most like to invest due to ups and down price. The chance to invest and dont take for granted to buy when the price is cheap.
It is even worst now that everyone is going crazy about the crypto world and bitcoin. It is something that cannot be over, but over time, may be in some years or decades when everyone sees bitcoin for what it really is, as a currency, then there will be a reduction in the volatility.

Right now, things have just gotten so crazy that everyone want to tap from the ever increasing bitcoin which makes it bad. I remember the period in between 2013 and late 2016, those are the kind of stability that bitcoin will have later on but at what price is what no one knows.
9164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you learn from your gambling mistakes? on: December 26, 2017, 05:21:19 PM
Quitting to a thing is just a psychological response of our body. If we think that we can't quit then we can't however if we think that we can quit for good then things will follow. Yeah it's hard to quit into something that we used to but if we're desperate to change, little by little we can do it. What must we think can attract what's meant to happen.
Once you get addicted to something and that is like gambling, it is really hard to quit this game. Gambling gives you false hopes about making big money and this activates your greed for money. This is the major reason why you become a gambling addict so easily. Indeed, you can change your this habit but it demands real will power just like iron will power, otherwise you would not be able to curb this habit.

Probably every gambler tries to learn how to quit gambling and unfortunately most of them are failing to learn that skill. This must be one the major reason why gambling industry is rapidly growing all the times.
9165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am looking for a different gambling. please recommend on: December 26, 2017, 02:44:56 PM
I think you will never get a proper answer  Lips sealed
Obviously he won't. If he cannot even do his own research to look for a good gambling site, or he does not know which game to play on the gambling site, then there is no point gambling at all. With the word of him looking for different gambling sites, if he is accustomed to the crypto gambling world already, he should know all the reputable ones available right now.

At the same time, we cannot underestimate people's innovation as they may surprise us at any time with any kind of new games. In my view, gambling games are saturated one but people may bet on day today activities which may be one perspective solution here.
9166  Economy / Speculation / Re: DON'T PANIC. HOLD YOUR BITCOIN. on: December 26, 2017, 10:16:19 AM
HODLing has always been the lucrative tactic. Look at the charts. Would you be up or down if you always HODLed?
The bulls are always going to keep winning at the end of it all and I have never seen anyone who dumped in this situation, panicked and got scared out living to end up not regretting it in the long run.

The market is strong, and we are not even there yet as there is still a lot to do to make bitcoin more usable, but a lot of believers believe that this would change once the LN is deployed and that would make a huge difference for the users of bitcoin. So, HODLING is just the best thing to keep doing as you would never regret it no matter how long you have to wait.
9167  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has BTC started the upward move? How high will it jump on: December 26, 2017, 09:15:17 AM
The truth is that bitcoin wants to go up, but Roger Ver and his friends are constantly spamming the network and this is what makes the price go to the roof, and of course, the fees are insanely high.
I really do not know how long they will have to keep doing that anyway. The fees have even dropped a little bit now and one thing I am sure of is that Roger Ver will not last with the way he is going and he would still end up regretting most of his actions or maybe his followers will. For now, if he ends up dumping all he has, it is only left for the bulls not to give him the chance to get back more at a lower price.

I am not sure the bulls will be fighting back hugely for now. The uncertainty will still have to die down a little bit before we start seeing the bulls stepping in, but I would not want to be in a quick rush to enter into the market, as there could still be some bearish moves more. However, no one knows but for now I am sure we will be seeing sideways and nothing much until we see a clear breakout which I am personally looking out for anyway.
9168  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happen today with all Coins? on: December 26, 2017, 08:12:29 AM
I sold all my BTC thats what caused the crash.  Grin
Lol. We should sue you on this forum for doing that, so what happened to coloring the moon on your signature Grin … Guys, if you are looking for one of the whales that did this to you, here is one of them.

Jokes apart, this is normal and I see it as whales trying to shake the market a little bit since it is their profit booking points and also year end closing for trading and make all the weak hands to disappear while they take some good profit back in few days. To cut the long story short, stop giving your money to whales if you are panicking and selling at loss.
9169  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: December 25, 2017, 02:49:57 PM
I think that I will earn more money and get involved in charity, if I feel good, then why not help people who are just starting their work in bitcoin. We can also help orphanages or people with small incomes, people in large families the same way.

Wealth is the source of all evil but if you invest in a right way it can help people especially the needy one. Invest your wealth where everyone benefitted and equally distributed according to their hard works. An investment that is considered as socially responsible so avoiding companies that sell or produce addictive products like alcohol or tobacco considering the health of the society.
It can only be considered evil based on how each person perceives wealth. Wealth itself is not evil; it is the human mind that is evil. You can be wealthy and make use of it to do good just like the OP have said, rather than trying to act all bossy and showing off.

If you see that most people who really worked for their wealth and are making huge money are really dishing out money every day. We should show the world that decentralization is not just about making some early adopters rich but it is about changing the world.
9170  Economy / Economics / Re: Black friday crypto correction on: December 25, 2017, 01:52:08 PM
its normal for me, weekend and christmas coming soon, some people need cash to shop.  Grin
maybe yes, time to invest in crypto.
Yes mate! Shopping is necessary, next year; we will start from where we stopped again and wait for some new FOMOs. I am sure that is what those whales are going to be saying now. It has been a crazy and devastating downward trend for some, most especially for those that bought at the top. However, it is not the end of bitcoin, nor is it the end of the world; it is just a good time to buy more. While some are doing shopping cashing out bitcoin for Christmas, some should be doing shopping buying bitcoin now.
9171  Economy / Economics / Re: The legalization of bitcoin. on: December 24, 2017, 07:56:41 PM
Do you think if we create an initiative group for the legalization of bitcoin. To find uninhabited island, to announce the collection of funds for its acquisition. Everyone who contribute will receive a piece of this island. Based on the state of Bitcoin official currency of this state to make a bitcoin. Do you like this idea?
This is a fantasy idea. will be hard to realize. You can imagine how difficult it is to bring people from different countries, cultures, languages, tribes who then unite on an island. In addition, all uninhabited or inhabited islands are the sovereignty of a state, and we must obey the rules. I think it will be very difficult to do.
Fantasy idea indeed. It is not even something that can happen. At the end of the day, there would be a lot of problem even among all the people who have come together to cohabit on the island, most especially when it comes to power, leadership and co.

It is easy to say everyone should go occupy an uninhabited island and it is one other thing to be able to pull it off, but even at that, it is impossible considering all it would take in resources to be able to put everything in place and most especially the internet which is very much needed.
9172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: advice for multiple gain on: December 24, 2017, 07:20:53 PM
I prefer to be in BTC on this stage of market or USD. Alts are crazy now and IMHO they need a good correction now. And I think it will be before Cristmas. I dont want to buy overpumped coins now. That is only my IMHO. So u can find something interesting. For example, u can try to find something in low cap ICO's with hard cap.
I have always preferred holding BTC too anyway but it is always good to diversify. Some of these alts were really doing great and had some huge rise before the whole fork drama and then we saw a lot of them being dumped with BTC taking larger share of the chunk. I guess those moments are over now and they are all back to take their place.

If we do not want to see our investment crumbling down then I would not really advise going for doge. It is just a market being pumped. It is good to hold some of it though and I expect it to still do pretty well being an old coin. I cannot really say now if it would be a good move since you missed at the dip, but with BTC gaining dominance, some of them may reduce a bit.
9173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is DOGE pumping? on: December 24, 2017, 05:58:03 PM
This coin was created as a troll, has never had a specific purpose. What I know is that when the BTC collapses people that doesn't come out on USD enters on coins such as DOGE to look for some profit before getting back on BTC
Funny enough it is still the same doge and people will keep using it for tips. It is amazing though seeing it doing well in the market despite the unlimited supply and the way people perceive the coin. Even the devs really do not have anything to do with the coin anymore but I saw the pump coming anyway as it could just be some retracement.
9174  Economy / Speculation / Re: What caused the sudden slump of BTC today? on: December 22, 2017, 05:56:52 PM
We really cannot expect to just see some sudden movement to the uptrend and not expect to see the same movement downwards. The truth is that bitcoin has really had a huge surge this year and a lot of investors have been complaining as that absolutely does not look healthy. As per their prediction market suffered a huge corrections and now seeming to recover. I hope this correction will remain as a correction and will not turn as a crash. A quick recovery alone will differentiate a correction from a crash.
9175  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Some Speculating Bitcoin To Crash? on: December 21, 2017, 05:31:36 PM
Whatever may happen, we all can not know what will happen in the future. Moreover, the world of cryptocurrency is very easy to get various sentiments, both positive and negative. Perhaps those who think that Bitcoin will crash are those who have known Bitcoin for a long time because it is natural to happen. looking at the history then Bitcoin never reaches a stable price, there is always a change every time. So this is probably the basis for mentioning that Bitcoin will crash. I will be normal and not panic because the most important thing is we can maintain trust in Bitcoin because then Bitcoin will not be easy to attack negative issue. We all become decisive how Bitcoin moves and how Bitcoin can show its existence in the future.
Right and the truth is that in as much as we keep assuming, whatever would happen keeps end up happening anyway and why some may be speculating a crash and waiting to buy in at dips, then you won't be surprised that if the dip comes, they will still not see it as a good enough position to buy.

The most important thing is to see the future in what you are holding and expect that things would definitely get good for it while some are busy panicking.
9176  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Buying Bitcoin at $10K? on: December 21, 2017, 04:56:19 PM
I think it's too late to buy bitcoin (though, maybe a part of it?). Moreover, mining it is also no more profitable.
Just wait for the panic in the market... the price will drop and you will be able to buy!
There is no need to be waiting for a serious panic right now. We have already had a very huge correction and bitcoin has shown a great sign of health, so the only thing one should wait for now is the good tops again but how long we are going to get back there is what no one knows right now. If the price drops again, then that would be a sure sign to buy, but for now, I feel the price has dropped enough.

$10k right now would be a huge buy opportunity but unfortunately, I am not sure we are even going to see bitcoin get to that value. Right now, the market is showing a solid support sign at around $16k after breaking all available odds one could have imagined during the correction.

I am very optimistic that the market is going to keep doing great for a while now, so anyone who already missed this current dip, may actually not see it again.
9177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good time to buy alts now? on: December 21, 2017, 01:07:11 PM
Bitcoin just fell a little , I think it will go down more and everyone will drop the alts and buy into Bitcoin again. I'm gona wait awhile before I make any moves.
Well, good you waited a little. Bitcoin already tested the bottom and has been able to find one and now we have a good support at that point. For now, once it passes the previous resistance, then we should expect another ATH even though it may take some little time but for now, it seems the bulls have won the fight and the bears are a bit in their hiding right now.

Bitcoin is not fully stable yet though and we may still have another run for this year before we call it a stop possibly. However, I am not sure this should affect the alt market pretty dip. These alts are already beginning to find some breathing space and most of them are on the verge of performing some upward push to the moon for those that have not.
9178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin for Regular Transactions on: December 21, 2017, 09:05:03 AM
ETH and ETC has faster confirmation and also very low fee, because their price is quite volatile I just exchange my bitcoin for etc or eth and than withdraw it out from the exchange to use later on and save those heavy fees with bitcoin withdrawal.

I am also holding both coins because there is still lots of room for them to grow.
ETH! Not anymore. If you did use ETH during the previous congestion, and while you have to use a high fee to get it done, and then you will know that it is a history to make use of ETH for very fast transactions unless you of course increase the transaction fee. I still prefer making use of Litecoin for now anyway, knowing that I can at least get my transactions done within few minutes and that is fast enough.
9179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roger Ver almost broke Trading View with his BCash pump on: December 21, 2017, 07:13:43 AM
interesting
Interesting is just the right word to use. I cannot just stop laughing looking at the chats and I really praise him for even being able to pull that off in the first place. Not an easy task I must say as he must have had all hands on deck to put the pumping going on like that. Not even a single breathing space for the candles. That is a chart that looks like something that can crumble anytime and I hope some people do not end up crying.

But, am I surprised? Obviously not. He is who he is and I doubt if he can change and I am trying to see where all this his manipulation leads him. This coin should be treated as shit as far as I am concerned and one man trying to get a full hold of the market is just preposterous. Come on! Look at the charts and I really pity all the FOMOs trying to get in.
9180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum coin to begin trading? on: December 20, 2017, 04:27:32 PM
I was wondering what's minimum / ideal amount of BTC or ETH I should have in order to start trading activity

If you have any idea or just want to share your first experience in crypto trading, feel free to write them bolow

For every trade you must set an acceptable target level to bringing benefit Furthermore more importantly, Also set stop-loss level to cutting misfortunes. A Stop-loss may be setting the level for passing the place the trade will get stop.
Here again, it will be important acknowledging a number of factors The point when picking An prevent reduction level effectively. i suggest to start with as low as  10$
Stop losses are always very important. We can never know it all or be able to do it all but one fact is that once you are good with your strategy, and you do it well, you can easily get there.

I have been in some trades before that never came out as expected even with all the analysis, knowing that you do not need to gamble anything, just get out while you still can. When I started, I started with 0.005 and now in 3 months at least I have been able to grow it to 0.112btc.

The thing is that, it is a world full of opportunities and you cannot allow anything to limit you. As long as you know what you are doing, you will always be good to go and there is no way you will not do well. It just takes the knowledge and some good practice to keep hitting it right.
