The safest way to gamble is to withdraw after you won so good amount (don't be greedy) and not try to recover if you lost, just accept it and move on.
If youre lucky enough and if you have self control then you can control you losses but remember you dont win anytime on the other day. Well I don't prefer gambling at all but once on Primedice someone tipped me some BTC and I went on rolling it at 1.1x multiplier. Just after 2 bets I lost it all. From that day I resolved never to gamble again.

Its a good thing you didnt gamble again, i used to play in primedice too and had lots of loses, but it did not stop me to play again because i want to get back my money and now i realized its not a good decision because i will end up penniless. though i didnt cry because of that i just promise to myself that i will gamble but with limitation. Majority of users commits the same mistake if they loose at initial stage, they start gambling more hoping to recover their losses but unfortunately it never happens in fact they keep on loosing more and more. Of course, because we don't want to stop gambling as loser, it is just normal to chase our bets but it is advisable to have a certain limits which majority of the gamblers also failed to understand, chasing our bets is just part of the strategy and it still requires discipline. Not all people have the same mind set of yours, some people can accept the fact that they can also lose in gambling. We can stop gambling even if we are a loser in the end. But of course it is the best feeling if we won the jackpot in the end of our game, but let you think of this, after you win the jackpot would you stop for now? of course you don't cause for sure your thinking that you can also win again and again. Majority of the gamblers are after of the money and that is what matters to them, you cannot dictate them on what to do although they know already their chances when gambling that aims for big money. It has not taken over my life as I had to put a stop to it or it would have ended my life very early on.
It is hard to stop an addiction but you have to find some else to replace it good or bad. Hopefully good because the other bad addictions will just compile the problem even worst then it already is.
I turned to gambling addiction by switching collecting birds, one of which is the birds love bird. if I continue gambling until today probably would not like it in my life. even now I was using bitcoin wisely. trading is one way to process the bitcoin so that we benefit. Gambling and trade bitcoin on the exchange, are two different things, one of which actually is more profitable and less risky. Both are risky. Both can turn into huge profit fast. But here's the trick: gambling is ONLY about luck; trading can be done with a little bit of strategy too. If you hear about some currencies going down/up before everyone else does, you can become a millionaire overnight. yes both have risks, but the risks in trading safer than gambling. if you have a good strategy, it can reduce the risk. also lost in gambling can be lost in an instant, as compared to trade. when lost, could be an advantage if you patient to wait price recover. But there is no really good strategy that can make you profit though, all strategy is only slower your balance from ending too fast though if you keep on playing it agaian. Trading always is much safer though if you only trading your btc to your fiat but to play altcoin i dont think that they you will really get profit because altcoin is unpredictable which is will be the same as gambling. Anyway gambling only lead us to addiction then it will wreck your life if you cant control it That's the problem with people because we always want to fell thrill and make money at the same time. Trading will not give us a thrill but it can give us a great opportunity to make money, we need to have our own priorities in how to make money. Trading is better in any way compared to gambling, it may not give us the chills and the excitement but learning in trading is worth of our time since it could be developed in future and could make our earnings more bigger and bigger since we are experienced enough as the time passes by. |

Convincing anyone regarding bitcoin would be difficult especially if they dont have any ideas on digital stuffs or other things that are related to interenet because there are some people doesnt still know even internet things how much more in bitcoin unless if youre encountering tech geek people then they surely cope up the ideas that you would explain to them.
You need to be really a good speaker when you are explaining it to someone as if they find it simple and interesting at initial stage then they will surely start using it. I agree, it all depends on how you approach and how you explain to them about bitcoin. First you must introduce to them in a correct,simple and precise information about it and they should understand it easily, dont even try to explain or even try to say complicated words or things because they might not get interested to it if they found out or heard it a difficult thing. |

Someone told me a while ago about his strategy on investing different sites just to make profits. He targets those new doublers or those who pays you an interest daily just for investing your bitcoins there, example they give 5% daily then after 25 days of joining he will leave the site with his capital to avoid being scammed. So no need to wait for that $100 price to buy.
It all depends on what site they are investing their money. Some sites would last long compared to others and some would be gone quickly as a matter of days and doesnt let your money make you in roi. This type of techniques are have a high risk of having a negative profit since you cant predict how long would be the website to be online. |

Well good luck with the OMFG #BIT$2000 or what ever. Bitcoin probably wont reach $2000 anytime soon especially after the great price drop and the theft of the 120k bitcoin. But it is likely that the price might rise up again to about 700USD. But we all wish that bitcoin reached $2000.
The price already recovered and we are only less than 100 dollars away from 700, it proven than this time Bitcoin is tons time stronger than the last time an exchange hot hacked, so next pump will be insane, at least 4000+ dollars easy. Right now, the price of a bitcoin doesnt even reach $650. Admit to ourselves it will not be rise on that price. I saw other thread that its value will rise up to $9000 a piece. Dont fool yourself. You know it will not rise that easily. But i believe it will be back at $700 a piece again. $2000/btc is nearly possible compare to the other thread saying $9000/btc which is very impossible to reach that certain price since we could all see the price of bitcoin as of now , it always goes down and suddenly rise a little bit then falls down again. All are just speculation and we really dont know what would happen. Just remember to make realistic speculations though. |

As of now im treating bitcoin both an investment and a currency since i seldom used my bitcoin earnings in my need in the way that i exchange my bitcoin into fiat and some remaining bitcoin earnings i usually save them up and put them into some investments so that i would gain more bitcoin out of it.

I believe true bitcoin prices in 2017 will grow. And the adoption of bitcoin will be more and more so that many people using bitcoin. 2017 will be better than this year in my opinion.

I guess my worst decision ever made in bitcoin is investing in doublers and hyip, that time im new in bitcoin world and can easily fool. so thats how it is, i invested lots of bitcoin, i bought it using fiat but i didnt get any btc in return in hyip it cant be widraw then my friend says i get scammed.
That thing should be really stopped. They target newbies in different areas and using bitcoin as a means of payment. At first I just look at it but sometimes I want to do something or warn others about it That thing really happens almost all of us since we are also once a newbie, we get scammed by those sites and other ponzi investments because we lack knowledge on those times but as the days and months passed by we gain more knowledge unto things which we realise that those our common mistake when we are a newbie. |

I just recently had to convert some of my bitcoins to fiat because I ran out of funds unexpectedly. Normally, I would just hold much and just spend a little on load credits and bills payment. I hope the time will come that the buy and sell price wouldn't have much of a difference. Maybe that is the exchanges' way of earning from their clients. By the way, who determines the exchange rate for the exchanges? Is there a rule or policy that controls exchange rates?
That is their own set of rates that close to the exact price of bitcoin. There is different rates to cover all the expenses and services that those exchanges are giving out to satisfy their clients. But they have no right to set their rates to really a low one because in the first place, no one will use their exchanges sites if the rates is really terrible. You are right. I have been to a lot of exchanges and have seen different prices specially when you are buying bitcoin. Some are really using it for their greediness. Anyway I do have a choice. They cant force me. Even there are exchanges out there they would definitely differ in pricing since its also an investment some exchanges may charge too much and some would charge a little amount which some buyers would definitely choose on which one is better. |

yeah I think you should be able to resist buying something you want. because of the desire of many people there must be many. so you should be able to buy something that you need only. it will save your money dude We should make sure that we are not wasting our money on useless thing, and also our need should not become our greed or it will destroy us completely. It really depends on how a person will deal to it's miscellaneuos spendings. Lots of person has a mind set of buying useless things because they have an extra money. That's why I see it's better if they experience being a bankrupt so that in the future that lesson will lead them to a better person when saving money. There are lots of people are like that, they just spend to those things which is not really important at all instead of saving it. You are right, before they learn to save they have to suffer or experience those times of bankruptcy so that they would learn but other people dont let this thing happen to them thats why they spend their money wisely and save some for future use. |

Yes this is the most appropriate solution to stay away from gambling, it is not by getting addicted to another thing because it is going to be a problem again for you and going to ask how to stay away and quit there too. Finding a hobby that you like is going to make it happen, like always playing basketball and other sports. Making yourself busy on to other things would be very helpful on staying away to gambling because it would make your mind to forget about gambling if you focuses into other things. As you said having a another hobby which would be very helpful playing sports game and other things that are not related to gambling. That is true if you are going to be busy into something that is much better then it is going to help you to stay away from gambling. if you are a student then just focus to your studies and it will going to help you to stay away from it. Or if you are a professional then it is better if you are going to focus on your full time job. So what are you gonna after you are done with learning things? You cant keep on learning everyday right? Everyone sure need some their leisure tim thats why before you addict you should stay away and never touch it. Although there are some who actually get rich from gambling, like lottery winners, in general I think you have a higher chance of getting broke than to get rich. So to answer the question, yes there are people who are lucky enough to get rich from gambling but that is a very very very low percentage compared to most gamblers that get broke.
Yes maybe their are some who became rich from gambling but i guess only few. its hard to earn in gambling what more to be rich. i think they were just lucky or they bet big amount and win thats why they became rich. I am sure that people who are getting rich with gambling are the house edge only. I don't know if there is someone that is a normal player or gambler that did became rich with gambling. Maybe those people or individual that really have a very lucky win and won a big amount of pot as they are gambling. But for the house edge they are really the ones who are becoming rich with it. Only those people with real interest on how to make money in the gambling have the chance to become rich, in one will take gambling as a form of investment which he will put up a capital or bankroll for his gambling career then he will do necessary measures to minimize his loses and to increase his winning percentage. Treating is like a business would mean you need to track your record and do not integrate your personal expenses to your business. I totally and 100% aggree with this. If we are serious of getting money and be rich through gambling, we should do our homework and calculations. We should treat it as a business and work. I totally agree with you - I was once guilty of this. Instead of having an effective strategy of betting, I change my way of betting because I am no longer happy with small wins (although stable) and after I changed my betting strategy and let my emotions run, I lost all of my bankroll.. i was also in to this situation when i started to get bored of the stable small earnings i was doing then i started to let my emotion run and go for higher bets then started to lose everything in an instant. Where in the US can you actually use bitcoin to buy anything normal? The only places I know to spend bitcoin are online. And no, I haven't spent any in real life and haven't yet had to. The USD hasn't hyperinflated yet and bitcoin hasn't yet taken over. Don't think it's ever going to, but in any case I can't find a restaurant or convenience store to spend bitcoin at. I think if I saw one of those signs "we accept bitcoin" on a shop's wall I'd definitely do it just for the novelty.
That's actually a sign of progress when you see some shops that are accepting bitcoins, that would also mean that they are supporting the platform and by doing that they have help the economy of bitcoins and would attract some competitors of their business to also adopt. We cant really stop the progress of bitcoin in near future since it wouldnt stop to develop and many would surely adopt it in next generation since bitcoin is becoming popular day by day and some countries could recognize already its existence and they would decide to adopt on their place which is really good for bitcoin holders. |

you promised will not do it again now , but i believe you will do same mistake later. it has been a something unique that human have , swearing but violated . especially when you talking about gambling , there will never end. the biggest mistake in your life are repeating same mistake over and over again. I already told my girlfriend about the bitcoin about 2-3 months ago but she didnt seem to be much interested in that, she only said yes yes and said i will see later.I also make her join this forum but after that she didnt done any thing,and then i also stopped telling her about bitcoin.
Lol I thought she was just speechless without any definite action. it means she is not interested in bitcoin dude. you should know it if she is really interested in bitcoin I'm sure sh will use bitcoin ? or at least find out about bitcoin right ? She definitely dont have any interest even she always saying yes every time you asked her. So, dont bother up yourself on asking her again since you would definitely get the same answer all over again. If she dont have any interest on a certain thing then leave it then. |
