922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting ICO scams on: October 31, 2019, 09:09:42 AM
If these sites just go for some verification before promoting these scams, it would be very good for the visitors. Verification can include Mobile verification, Identity verification etc. These sites are an open image of crypto, if these sites just reduce their earned money by a bit and plan for long term then it would be beneficial for all of us.

Seriously, that's business and they don't care whether they're advertising scam projects or not. They'll just reason out that they're not affiliated to all of those and we should invest at our own risk.

And not surprising anymore as they're still being paid to fake trading volumes.

Money really run the world.  Roll Eyes

Indeed, same way as what most exchanges are doing. They dont care about the project they are always after the money, the more money they will get when projects or campaigns are being given to them they will not make an investigation first . Also some ICO rating site before are the same! The will advertize ICO whether it is scam or not as long as they will provide a kyc and money of course which is big, they will advertize it.
923  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BEWARE of Telegram Groups you have been added unwillingly!!!!! on: October 31, 2019, 05:08:58 AM
Hello,

I am an active telegram marketting service provider and I strongly do not suggest to use member adding services. If you add anyone in your group unwillingly, they either hit spam button or start sharing unrelated advertisements in the group. Very few of them asks what is the group about and the group gets banned because of people hitting spam buttun in a few days.

Also, If someone added you in a group chat, leave immediately. It is 99% scam. This is how people scam others. They usually showi some proof of payment with fake screenshots and giving false statements with a few other accounts they own. So simple. Noone will send you 10 ETH If you send 1 ETH? Why would anyone do that?! Dont be fooled by these people. Think it this way. If you find a service that doubles your crypto, would you tell it to everyone or would you use it to make you rich?

Repeating one last time, If you have been added in a group, hit the spam button and leave.

"There is another settings that you can also change in telegram. You can turn off the automatic media download. This could also help avoiding any malware that is sent using telegram. It's not just random telegram groups that will add you to the group without your consent or without knowing about it. Telegram can be use to spread any malware/virus to your device by sending you a pm with a file or clicking a link that a telegram user sent." quoted from Nakamura12
Yes , this could be a very big help to everyone,  but incase you did not knows this you may simply click "report as spam and leave" so that the channel you have been joined without your concern might be reported to telegram, if many people reported that channel it can be deleted. Some people are doing some trick I do not know how the only thing I know is they can add many people in that certain channel because some projects uses telegram with numerous member to show off to the investors that the channel are active and many supporters.
924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite way to receive money as a gift? Cash or digital.. on: October 30, 2019, 12:21:39 PM
I prefer to receive digital currency since it will be efficient and easy to manage. There are many ways to keep digital currency nowadays and it can be used directly as capital for digital investment/asset. So, for me, it must be more interesting if I have digital currency than cash/paper money.
If prefer it too, i dont care of it is in bitcoin/eth/bch/xrp or anything as long as it is a digital, because with digital money I can use it anywhere and anytime as long as I have an internet. I just need to convert it in usd and send it to my wallet such as paypal or skrill. Wish I could have that on my birthday if ever I will be able to choose between.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY DOES BOUNTY PROJECTS TAKE TIME TO ENTER A MARKET on: October 30, 2019, 08:06:47 AM
Yes, many bounty projects take too much time to list their coins. My more than 80% of bounty coins are yet to list on exchanges. I feel the main reason for delaying the listing would be a bearish market. I believe most of the dev is waiting for the market like in late 2017 or If they launch their coins in the current market they are afraid of been dumped by the investors and holders. Apart from this some dev launch their coins after implement their whitepaper plans.
It could be one of the main reason why those IEO or ICO with bounty project took hard days and takes months before entering a market. Also, entering an echanges requires minimum of 2BTC for just only a two pair (eth/btc) that is why they need to have a larger amount of sales firsr so that they could have money to put in many exchange and larger ones.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All ICO Project Proponents Must Also Submit KYC on: October 30, 2019, 06:49:36 AM
Yeah sure, it would make sense that the devs and team members verify their identity before the token sale launch. But in the reality people are making their social media public, which is a sign of a living person. However, nowadays, real people can scam you as well.
They can do it, but the thing is they can submit fake ID too! To very their existence even though all the credentials arent true. The good thing I can suggest is, they need to conduct a live stream and propose their project as well as their professions and credentials in different social medias so that we can verify that it is true. I have a doubt in KYC of them, since I encounter a fake KYC of a team in my past bounty.
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to invest safely in cryptocurrency? on: October 30, 2019, 01:59:00 AM
Nothing is safe for investment in Cryptocurrency, moreover it is a new project. Even though that Top Cryptocurrency project managed by a professional manager can make us lose money. In my opinion, investing in Bitcoin and Coins in the top 10 of Coinmarketcap may be safer than investing in new projects. Moreover, up to 500 Coinmarketcap ratings, it is very difficult to find coins that are safe to invest.
In able to be safe in investing we should know first the coin that we are investing, you may see the list in coinmarketcap if you want, there will be a top coins there, all of them are active and it is safe to invest with, they are also in a good exchange not like a shit exchange that has a fake volume. invest in those coins who has a good exchange because you knew that they have the budget in everything and they didn't abandon their coin when listed.
928  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: October 29, 2019, 04:56:17 PM
Well, I don't think this is an easy task. I like to use Bitcoin as a currency because I love the fact that I actually have use of it in real world but majority of people still see Bitcoin as an asset. They are afraid to lose something if they would use Bitcoin as a currency.
Maybe if more merchants would accept Bitcoin as a payment method could help as well as more markets where people could sell their products and services for Bitcoin.
It will be too hard sometimes to convince them because bitcoin is not yet legal worldwide but there are stores that can help them to sell them. Tell them  that they need to go with the flow of our technology and bitcoin will be good like gold , it is good for long term investment too.
929  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 29, 2019, 03:41:06 PM
Don't spend bitcoin, this is mentioned based on the growth happening with bitcoin. In reality for a better and bigger move forward there is a need for direct spending of bitcoin. As of now the usage is very limited, and priority is given as an investment. Somehow there is circulation happening around, and in future we can expect the spending to happen much more than the present leading to its perfect use as an alternate to fiat transactions.
Yes, circulation is the main thing. If people will hoard and hoard bitcoin,it can affect the whole circulation of it. The demand will goes up while the supply is limited. We never know if it will make the price goes up or it wi goes deeply down. We need to spend bitcoin like any other coins and altcoins.
930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whet is the best marketplace to buy Bitcoin? on: October 29, 2019, 01:34:08 PM
If your local country has financial services that cover bitcoin, it is the best of choice.
In our country, we do have a mobile application, it can be also used on the web, we can buy bitcoin anytime as long as we have our balance on that application.
If you do not have the same application in your country as that, you can buy at big exchanges such as Binance. It will be easy because it is user friendly and it is also secured.
Yeah some countries has their own locan marketplace to buy and sell bitcoin.  But you may also try Binance, Yobit etc to buy bitcoin. You may buy using USD and then convert/buy bitcoin with it. In exchange you may also buy other altcoins such as etherium, xrp, bch and so many many more.
931  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: October 28, 2019, 03:49:24 PM
Some have speculated that terrorists have discovered a way to use the platform crypto currency to gather identities from different people from all over the world. use their identities for terrorist activities. From threads that i have seen, there are people thinking that some ICOs are used to fund terrorist acts by luring investors into investing into their companies, getting KYC in exchange of money, gather a large sum of it and then run away with big bags of bucks.
IMO, these scenarios have big possibilities since there is the anonymity factor feature of crypto currency, we really do not have the knowledge as to whom and where the money will go for when it was transacted in cyberspace.

what are your thoughts on this?

yes you are right a lot of people who use KYC for criminal acts. therefore I currently avoid participating in projects that use KYC requirements. I am not willing to exchange my personal identity for a few dollars. and using KYC does not guarantee that the projects we follow are not scams. many ICO projects are scams that also ask for KYC. now I prefer to join projects that don't use KYC.
That is why I am afraid when bounty needs kyc. But I have not heard any news that uses our kyc in terrorism, no news so far. Maybe there are some people uses cryptocurrency to make its image bad. This kind of news affects the cryptocurrency world, the market always goes to dip and crashes when something like this has been aired or been posted in different social medias.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in multiple altcoins on: October 28, 2019, 11:30:16 AM
Definitely, a wise choice of altcoins. But I believe it is not the best time for investing in altcoins at the moment. The best coin on the market during the whole year was and still is Bitcoin. Altcoins cannot compete anymore.
I dont agree with you, if people cannot afford to buy bitcoin then they can buy altcoins instead. Also they can invest in different altcoins ,but I rather not to choose many of them ,3-5 coins will be my choice only those who have a good candlestick in the market and also has a good circulation. Having profit in altcoins can convert into bitcoin.
933  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is this OKEx Site is it safe? on: October 28, 2019, 10:17:32 AM
I am rather familiar with crypto trading and trade once so every often, but recently I found this new website called OKEx and some of my fellow trading friends are using it. Is it safe to trade in it? I worry whether my friends are safe when they trade.

I think it is safe exchange. Yes it is new, but I have see the transparency of this exchange, and I think couple of months ago they are having a conference I dont know if it is in Honkong or Singapore, I have some friends who are an ambassador of it, I think if something happens we can directly ask them since there is a regional ambassador everywhere.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: October 28, 2019, 07:58:42 AM
With the altcoins going down like a falling knife, day trading doesn't look profitable anymore. I would definitely prefer long-term holding, but that too only with either Bitcoin or with established altcoins such as Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash. Right now I don't think that a recovery may occur for the altcoins anytime soon. At least for the next 6 to 12 months, we can expect them to go down in value. Short selling may be a good option, but those who doing it should be aware of the risks associated with it.
Day trading is possible too, you may still get some in day trading ,little amount of profit will do , if you know how to play with the market. Every succesful trade will have a profit. Long term hodl is good also if the coin has a potential also and still you have a budget, then go for a long term trade but make sure that your profit will be more higher than your first buy.
935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statement against people who say Bitcoin is a Scam on: October 28, 2019, 05:08:51 AM
I am the type of person who does not like to argue where what he says has a point, even though my understanding is also true. Cryptocurrency does not have proprietary letters so the risk of hackers is correct but not a scam. Bitcoin was also initially built on people's trust, that's the benefit of peer-to-peer transactions. Everyone can see the point of view where the point of view is comfortable for them.
Likewise, we cannot blame those people who will say that Bitcoin is a scam as there are lots of scam out there using Bitcoin as a tool to get fund from the people, so their mindset will be negative and we cannot force them to believe unless they will see, do research and conduct investigation at their own discretion.
Some of them knows bitcoin at first that is only use for crime , we dont need to blame them or get pity them because of what they are thinking. Just tell them the advantages of it, it could be for long term and short term investment, for purchasing online goods and all the rest will follow. Know their reason too before judge them, then educate them.
936  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold exist 1000+ years. while bitcoins exist 10 years. on: October 28, 2019, 03:37:43 AM
in my opinion we cannot compare the two. because gold and bitcoin are different. gold has long been known as a store of good value. and bitcon is digital money that has high fluctuations. because of this fluctuation bitcoin is an investment tool. gold can also be an investment tool but an increase in the value of gold will not be possible to rival the increase in bitcoin. so that bitcoin investment is better than gold.
Correct buddy, Because they are in different aspect. Gold is a physical asset that can be stored and sell in the whole world, you need first to know where country should be sell that, while bitcoin is not yet introduce in the whole world and also it is not yet legal in other country. They both have a great value and good for investment.
937  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: October 27, 2019, 02:44:17 PM
daily trading should still be profitable if the market conditions are crowded and at this time the market conditions have begun to show signs of increasing market crowd you can see when the price of bitcoin on yesterday could rise so much in one day.
Indeed, if the coin you are trading is really good for a day trade. But if not dont go to day trade. In day trading you will get  a little by little amount of profits, make sure that the coin you are investing is really active. I already have an experience on it, if you want to have a faster profit but not so huge you may try to day trade.
938  Economy / Economics / Re: The U.S. Government Tried To Shut Down Bitcoin on: October 27, 2019, 01:20:09 PM

I would be hoping to see Trump also hurrying to regulations and probably the blockchain adoption as well in US for they will be behind with what China had been doing in the couple of years because there had been so much developments of projects related to blockchain and cryptocurrency. Tradewar is going to be tougher if they are not going to hurry.
They cannot shutdown bitcoin! Bitcoin has been there years ago and still kicking in the modern world. Trump is a bussinessman I know that he already notice bitcoin and also have plan on it. If they saw that China is already on a digital currency I think US will follow it and start to be more competitive than in China.
939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you waste your time for 5 cents worth of bitcoin? on: October 26, 2019, 08:51:53 PM
I am doing market research for a potential project.
If there was a website you could go to daily where you would earn anywhere from 1 cent - 10 cents worth of bitcoin just for clicking a button, would you do it?
No strings attached, no deposit required. You go to the website, push a button and 5 cents is deposited into your wallet. Would you go every day and do it, or is it not worth your time?
If that will be equivalent to $1 then why not? Years from now we all want to have any amount of bitcoin so even in bitcoin faucet we lend our time trying to solve capchas and anything that is bitcoin related, if it is worth then I will waste my time to that thing only if it is real and legitimate, if they already made a series of payment to other user.
940  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between an investor and common man! on: October 26, 2019, 05:50:03 PM
Investors are those people who are making their money work for them, they invest in many aspect, they make passive income in every potential way they can think. They are always finding ways to earn money, and most of all those are the people who are rich, common people are those who are afraid to take risk, they prefer working in a company rather than doing business.
No need to be rich if you want to start your investment career, only difference will be return which depends on the capital but we should keep investing again the profits more and repeat it to become rich but as common man we may spend the profits on something and invest back the same amount as earlier which will keep us to be in the same financial status.
Rich people know how to regulate money, it is based on their experience, I am referring only to those people who are not rich before but in such good market trade and emotional capabality they become an investor and rich. Common man are too afraid of everything because of their limited source but later on they need to learn so that we can say that they are an investor.
