I'm not happy with the fact that ICO investors still have their coins locked, but I would give the devs some benefits of doubt and focus on the long term prospect of the coin. Big companies like Microsoft screw up this type of big bang IT product launches all the time, and they got bazillions of dollars to spend.

You should try to look at EVN. It was a very hyped ICO. If a project promise you great profits, there is a chance that it becomes a scam.
You can't really know when a project is going to transform into a scam. Who would have think that it was going to become a scam?
But human greed is the worst thing.

If there is an SMS verification, then i think there should be a server which stock the phone number. Also it should not be in the blockchain as a phone number could change.

New ICO this year tend to fall lower than ICO price. At first they increase a lot. So you should be careful. But the price can increase after like ZIL or IHT. Who knows?
If you are lucky, the price can move like thoses coins, else it can move like CHSB for example.

I would avoid to pariticipate on thoses airdrop. It is not worth to give them your information just for an airdrop. Also they might be potential scammers and just want to sell or use your informations.
Without KYC, some are still selling/spamming your email and they have your ETH address. Also some just propose you to participate on other airdrops so they can get more airdrops.
Just don't participate if you don't want to do KYC. They are going to lose potential investors, but that's their problem.

Sumokoin is now controlled by ASIC miners. CPU/GPU miners are leaving. Most ASIC miners are going to immediately sell their Sumokoin for Bitcoin. It will be a little like Electroneum i suppose.
