921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin era over ? on: January 28, 2017, 09:45:59 PM
I don´t think it ever will. Altcoins are the tip of this new technology development. They act like test versions of bitcoin but with a lot of improvements.
That's why altcoins will still be around for a lot of time
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: January 25, 2017, 11:41:16 PM
Judging by what we have seen throughout the years, IMO, the only coins that have the chance to survive in the future are the ones offer new and disrupting features. All the other ones will end up dying
923  Economy / Services / Re: need helper - REWARD 0.15 BTC on: January 25, 2017, 09:01:06 PM
Hey guys, be careful with this one... you should never engage in deals with forum members that have a negative reputation, and if you just run through this guy's posts you will immediately understand why he has a red label on him
924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: January 24, 2017, 03:32:02 PM
Bitcoin is not supported in several countries but that doesn’t mean that you cannot use it over there. We can find a lot of countries where the use of bitcoin is criminalised however it is basically in those countries that bitcoin becomes more useful. These are countries who are going through a fierce capital control and that’s why bitcoin is still one of the best options
925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: January 23, 2017, 12:48:58 PM
What I like best in Bitcoin is that it enables you to have total control over your money. With bitcoin you are basically your own Bank, and you are completely free from banking or government capital control. Bitcoin really takes the power back to the people.
926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs altcoins because ... on: January 23, 2017, 11:36:12 AM
Altcoins works like a different network to send bitcoins through. Altcoins can be pretty helpful when you want to send bitcoin and pay a lot less fees with faster transactions times than you would if you used the normal bitcoin network. Basically, Altcoins can greatly surpass the bitcoin network limitations
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: January 20, 2017, 09:44:44 PM
I don´t believe that Litecoin is dead. It is just going through a bad phase. I admit that there haven´t been any developments with the Coin but it is still pretty popular in China. I still believe we will see a comeback

929  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Whats the best bitcoin news site? on: January 20, 2017, 12:27:43 PM
In my humble opinion Bitcoinist is the best Bitcoin News Agency in the market. They cover all the important events and have very good writers. Their pieces are pretty informative and the site design is very nice.
930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: January 19, 2017, 11:46:59 AM
of course that I will not tell how many coins I own but I what I can tell is that I have at least one. I’m just holding it and waiting to sell it for at least 5 times more than it cost me.
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: January 19, 2017, 11:34:07 AM
I do think that 2017 will be a very good year for Bitcoin. If Kim Dotcom is right, the price of Bitcoin should skyrocket this year and we will probably see it surpassing the $2k barrier. I hope he is right about this Wink
932  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for ideas for Bitcoin related site - I have capital on: January 18, 2017, 06:02:36 PM
So what about a news agency with a free market attached to it??? This would be pretty interesting, it would be a place where crypto enthusiasts could get the latest news and they would also be able to trade or sell their own goods. You could also add sports betting and casino games. I know that there is a lot of crypto news agencies but it is still a very profitable business to invest on
933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future looks fantastic, kids love Bitcoin on: January 18, 2017, 01:27:05 PM
Yes, the future will be amazing. That’s why I have already set up a paper wallet to my daughter with one BTC on it. In ten years time I hope that it will be her boarding pass to pay for the University.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Steemit.com: Blogging is the new Mining on: January 18, 2017, 01:02:04 PM
I really love Steemit. It is way better than other social networks. The only site I believe can compete with steemi is Reddit. And even so, Steemit can be better because it benefits those who make the best posts
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: KURRENT Bounty Thread on: January 18, 2017, 11:41:21 AM
I would like to go for the translation bounty. I would like to do the Portuguese Translation snd I can also handle the spanish translation
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is MaidSafeCoin actually a thing? on: January 17, 2017, 10:36:03 PM
Back in 2014 I actually thought it would be a project worthy of investing, However the project seems to have frozen in time and few or close to no development was made. It seems that the project was abandoned
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would banks use a blockchain? on: January 17, 2017, 04:32:05 PM
Banks should use the Blockchain technology to ensure that there is no corruption and to avoid money from being taken  with no way of tracking it. It should be mandatory for Banks to use the Blockchain technology to keep track of their records and to make that information available publicly.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple releases 333 million more Tokens on: January 16, 2017, 02:30:21 PM
Yep Ardor is already being distributed. In fact this is one of the projects feature that I think will give it even more importance. I already got mine Smiley
939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get paid to learn smart contracts on: January 16, 2017, 02:28:38 PM
Well, I would like to know more about smart contracts and learn all about it without having to pay and being paid for it it is even better. Looks pretty interesting so I guess I’m reserving this one
940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: January 16, 2017, 11:41:54 AM
My everyday use with Bitcoin is directly related to investment. I use Bitcoin to do some day trading with alt coins and mining, which I normally buy some gigahashes in hash nest. Through Hashnest I can mine and trade the GHs at the same time. It is pretty risky but it can also generate some nice yields
