This is why we have so many addiction cases in our time now,it is not that easy to stick to that statement that we will only gamble we can afford to lose.

Nobody can follow this by heart, there will be a time when people are tempted to put in more money, gambling is associated with our emotions and sometimes our emotion betrays us, this can happen most of the time to a gambler who loses control but for a response, they do this only from time to time, besides we are only human and not perfect in controlling our emotions.
Gambling is good if done with wisdom and in proper senses. Drinking and gambling has brought so much trouble to people but having said that gambling has also
brought so much profit to the revenue - so there is question what should one do. When a person gambol - he is in double debt when he loses his wealth
922  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you advertise your casino? on: May 13, 2022, 11:55:55 PM

Facebook is too restrictive regards crypto content that they have become an unreliable platform to advertise. Instagram is more picture related platform and Tik-Tok video related, and although I'm not familiar with their policies, I think it's pretty possible to advertise gambling content there when adapting the ads to each platform style. On Instagram banners explaining promos could be displayed in abundance and at Tik-Tok short promotional videos could be made. About Bitcointalk specifically, it's more gambling oriented advertisement, because it's a crypto niche which also embraces a significant portion of gamblers' community. So we could say the traffic here is more valuable than the traffic at social medias and that might be the reason why casinos invest so much time and money at the forum.
I think twitter is more wider in adaptivity, when it comes to hashtags and sharing images and videos. The best thing being a photogrpaher I discovered was NFT photographers community, but very bold images which insta would ban due to policy are there on twitter. I think they can try twitter as well.
923  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: May 13, 2022, 11:52:25 PM

All things colonizing a country is the most heinous act of human relations, including the Israeli army killing Palestinian civilians without any defense from any country, there is no discussion on all topics, maybe many members don't bring up news of the atrocities committed in Palestine. I think for social care to all countries, we must voice peace for Palestine regardless of cultural and religious differences.
Very well stated - We have heard so much about Ukraine and I am not against Ukraine - not at all. But I do hope that all the people in the world need peace and justice. As mentioned above by another memeber what has happened in Palestine while they were carrying a funeral was very sad. It was disgraceful for the dead body and for the people as well.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 13, 2022, 09:11:29 PM
Tottenham vs arsenal game did not end as expected, no one predicted a 3 0 win for tottenham the game was really close despite the large score if arsenal did not had that early red card the outcome would've been different they were on a winning streak they won their four last games and they had a decent performance despite the loss now they have to be carefull since tottenham are one point behind.
Totthenham did really well and Arsenals were bit low on moral too.
Have they had not received the red card they would not have won it. I think Tottenham are lucky in this tournament and they have been playing some amazing games.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: May 13, 2022, 09:08:09 PM
I didn't know about this but why would they do that? I thought they took care of these animals when in their ranch aren't these people doing it to continue their horse might have a chance of winning again in the future? My question is, it's like the same as how cows and chickens been manufactured.

I doubt if they would just stop this kind of gambling since they were doing it in a long time. But I don't stand with animal cruelty if the caretaker knew there was something on their horses they should not let it race smh I guess this is all about money for them. I wonder what the jockey been thinking when riding a dying horse. Huh
Racehorses owners are a mixed bag, there are owners that do in fact treat their racehorses as they should and treat them well, however there are also many owners that treat them horribly, it is those type of owners that need to be either kicked from the sport or even face charges for animal cruelty, however many owners protect their kind as they do not like the idea of strangers getting into their business, which is why practices like that still continue to our days.
Well that is the smart question - what the Jockey been thinking when riding a dying horse.
I think he would be praying for the horse to at least cross the finish line. But this is hard. Seeing the loved creature dying while your whole game depends on it.

Ronaldo is always in trouble - people except a lot from the him and he is always in the pressure.
Although this is his last World Cup but soon his soon will be running in the ground.
Ronaldo has made sure that his name is written in the history.
Yes, sure, I also confess that Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best soccer players in all history!

I believe he deserved to be champion of this World Cup, he would be deserved!

But as in all the other cups CR7 participated, he played alone, and unfortunately he couldn't "carry" the Portugal team on his back  Undecided
Sometime new name also is not not lucky for the people. Maybe Ronaldo is getting old and people are always expecting him to win and do amazing goals.
Not every time the luck is on your side. I am not sure how the players deal with fans pressure and the game pressure.
927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 11, 2022, 05:43:36 PM

That happen when some players become more powerful than the board or when institute lack decisive leadership. Even Sachin didn't enjoy this much of power despite being backbone of Indian cricket for so long.
Some players are always in pressure - captains are one of those - I am not sure how they feel when they carry the pressure of whole nation on their head.
I always liked Tandolkar - India has given cricket very good players.
928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: May 11, 2022, 05:38:42 PM
I agree with what has been said here about Portugal's performance against Turkey because it was a complete disappointment. If Turkey had been a little more skillful in the final shots, what happened to Italy could have happened to Portugal. Yet, I think that Portugal's star players will take responsibility with the help of the atmosphere of the tournament, and Portugal will play at least in the semi-finals.
I wouldn't overrate Portugal's performance in those qualification games. Often the "better" teams show unexpected difficulties in the K.O. qualification games, but then play much better at the actual tournament. Just look at Italy who lost vs Macedonia.
I also think Portugal can come quite far in the World Cup. Ronaldo will give 110% in his last tournament.
Yes, I also have no doubts that Cristiano Ronaldo will give his all in his last World Cup!
Portugal is a team that has potential, let's see if they can be champions in this 2022 World Cup.
Ronaldo is always in trouble - people except a lot from the him and he is always in the pressure.
Although this is his last World Cup but soon his son will be running in the ground.
Ronaldo has made sure that his name is written in the history.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: May 11, 2022, 05:34:05 PM
Amen, 110% agree with you on this. Horse racing is absolutely cruel and there is absolutely no argument against it and if you think it’s okay then I suggest you look up the facts about how cruel it is. If you still support it than FUCK YOU! The same thing can be said about dog racing and there’s a reason why dog racing has become almost completely banned here in the United States. The eastern world needs to wake the Fuck up and stop supporting so much animal cruelty. I’m absolutely fucking sick of it, especially Asia!

Oh God - 3 deaths in the a day and such a big amount of pain killers.
The world needs to wake up and stop animal cruelty. May to world realize that this is brutal and it need to be stoped right away.

If we are ready to lose that money, we can just play gambling and use some money. If we do end up losing the money, we'll be fine and won't be too sorry because we were prepared to take the risk. As long as we can keep our emotions in check and not be too eager to chase victory and always control ourselves, I don't think we will be dragged too deep into gambling.
take care, don't be greedy, don't be too ambitious and don't fall too deep, don't let yourself lose consciousness with things that make you lose your mind, because if you can't avoid all of that, you will definitely lose everything you have, we must remember that we play gambling not to seek wealth but to seek entertainment and just want to add a little pocket money.
when you enter the casino - you either win or lose. There is no middle line. If you cannot control your emotion then you are in trouble.
Gambling brings excitement and than with excitement comes losses too. So be careful next time and mange your finances properly.
931  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: May 11, 2022, 05:23:25 PM
There are all sorts of motivating factors behind what you say is the failure of Bitcoin in El Salvador. Firstly, the government tried to hurry the process along by basically forcing El Salvadorean's to fund a purchase of Bitcoin (through taxes) which was then given back to every citizen - basically just a vote buying attempt. A slower roll out, which focused on setting businesses up to process payments through Bitcoin in a really efficient way, would have been the correct way to do it or even focusing on the "send money from overseas and avoid excessive middleman fees" would have been a stronger angle to take on this. However some people in the country struggle to find work or even eat, so they're not too interested in this inanimate internet currency when they already have existing payment facilities.

Exactly. Most people don't even have the resources to access Bitcoin, so it's unlikely adoption for the cryptocurrency will grow within the short term. El Salvador's government should've built the necessary infrastructure in order to make people adopt Bitcoin in mass. I hope businesses and merchants in the country adopt Bitcoin as their main currency of choice to help contribute to the cause. The market is bearish right now, so it's going to take some time before people in El Salvador become interested in Bitcoin. At least, the government is buying the dip. Who knows if BTC's next All-time-high in price turns El Salvador into a developed country in the future? Just my thoughts Grin
I spoke to one of the Ukraine clients and they said they would not have an idea that they will be refuges in a while. Likewise you never know when are you going to loose your hard money - this is very risky game, one can't believe what is going to happen in coming days.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 11, 2022, 04:31:31 PM
With the way wolve handled Liverpool is the last match I must say Manchester City should be very careful not to take in early goal from wolve if not their may lose this match, as that will effect their club point on the premiere league table.
Liverpool fans will be watching the match Manchester City vs Wolves. Any mistakes will effect their club point and Liverpool exactly wants to happen that. I hope there will be no drama but Wolves can do anything. My bet on Manchester City and no wonder they'll go through their dominance and lift the trophy.
Very important day for both the teams. Let's see who the luck sides with.
I think Manchester City will lift the trophy too. But You never know - sports is very unpredictable game. Good luck to both the teams, figures crossed.
933  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: May 09, 2022, 02:45:49 AM
There is just one simple point which people need to understand and that is governments won't accept decentralized crypto aka bitcoin. The trap by Salvador government is very much the same as done by majority of big powers aka keep the crypto centralized so that government have full control of it.
Decentralization can't be changed by making it legal tender. Only what you can do with it could be legally ruled out, otherwise bitcoin itself can't be centralized nor can it ever be controlled by anyone, only what you can do with it.

This needs to be learned by everyone, I keep seeing these type of messages and posts by people who do not know what decentralization is all about. Just because you can use it or you can't use it doesn't make it centralized, decentralization means that you can't change anything regarding bitcoin itself, like no rollbacks, no freezing it, nothing directly related to it, only things they can do are impacting what you do with it.
I hope the residents get the justice. I am thinking about all those who might be loosing a lot during this process.
There was a time when Salvador was hub of Bitcoin. Is this the future of our dear Bitcoin. I think its all luck game. Some becomes rich while the other faces trouble.
934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 09, 2022, 02:42:48 AM
I saw the expression of Cristiano Ronaldo when he lost which of course was very disappointing. He smiled and shook his head as if he couldn't believe what had happened to Manchester United. When leaving here, Manchester United is still a scary team for the opponents they face. But now it is not visible, the disappointment shown by Cristiano Ronaldo is very visible.

Perhaps one of the players who regret coming to Manchester United this year is Cristiano Ronaldo. The team that brought him into world football was Manchester United.  But the old Manchester United is no more. Ronaldo also seems to have lost faith in them. It is possible that he will leave Manchester United at the end of the year. Ronaldo cannot afford failure. He gets more angry after each defeat.
Hard luck for Ronaldo - although he is one of the most admired and loved player.
But sometimes decisions are not done right. And there is another factor which is called luck and the right decision at the right time. I Love Renaldo and I hope he sets his focus right.

It takes practice for some time to be able to stop immediately after benefiting from the games we play. But most people will try to double the amount of profit they have already made by playing longer but that does not guarantee they can win more profits.

Maybe it's okay if we play a round or two after getting a profit but don't increase your bet amount because it can make you lose. Being wise is very necessary when we play gambling to avoid big losses.
Does gambler at any stage times to leave gambling for good? or gambler remains gamblors for good?
Or is gambling a happy activity?  I mean some of the hobbies and habits are very challenging. But my question is does it bring back good memories and is it something one can cherish in future?
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 08, 2022, 12:57:33 PM
I have heard many of these stories before.... people posting in gambling chat that they started with $5 and they pushed it to $150 and then losing that money within a few minutes. I think we are greedy and as soon as you won something big, you increase your bet size and you lose it quicker.  Roll Eyes

The old saying that says.... "The Only gambler that win, is the one that stops playing after a huge win" is so true. We win big.... and over time the casino just take back the winnings over time, because we do not stop playing.  Roll Eyes

This is one of the basic rules that I use when gambling. Immediately after any significant winnings I leave the casino. But according to my statistics, even this rule does not allow me to get rich by gambling. This approach allows you to spend money somewhere else and enjoy it rather than lose every last cent and leave the casino with nothing.
One should not be greedy - I liked the approach of leaving the casino after winning.
The more you push and the more impulsive you become - there are grim chances that you win. So play safe!

I will suggest we keep all predictions till later when the 2022 round start fully, FIFA World cup is always an exciting event to football fans and with the countries that qualified so far this year us going to be fun filled but the cup is going to either Brazil or France.

I think the OP just wants a heads up towards the TOPIC where we can still make predictions and analysis on the FIFA and it's teams' past games so that we could gather enough ideas for our bets FOR APPROX 6 MONTHS. Kinda funny to be that much anticipating as there are large rooms that can still befit tons of changes. But yeah, BRAZIL always pops off every FIFA, no doubts abt that.
Right there is still big room for the commencement of FIFA and we have already started discussing about it whereas there could be changes at the near moment we don't know about so the predictions could be wrong then. But we all know it's the most loved and hyped event around the globe and football fans are eagerly waiting for it.
Oh yes- that is what I was thinking too. Its too early to predict.
Anyone from Qatar can comment what is going on in Qatar regarding the preparation. Any job opportunities there while the matches are going on!
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: May 08, 2022, 12:48:36 PM

It should be backed by science stroke on human is very much different in some way from horses, human develop it over time because of abuse on what he eats and what he thinks, horses are made to run, if it's a different animal race where the nature of them is not to run like monkey or turtle then it can develop depression on these animals.

Right and strict supervision and diagnosis should be implemented to fully check the horse's condition, horses can and will run they are created to run but it should be within their limit and must not be drugged to reach the desired results.

I am not a medical expert so I would not comment on it.
But this the game of the rich people - so they can do anything and go to any extreme. This brings them entertainment and money side by side. So we can only comment but nothing would happen.
939  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: May 08, 2022, 12:40:53 PM
I think it is too early to conclude that the adoption of Bitcoin by El Salvador has failed. The problem is not Bitcoin in itself, rather it is the manner/approach the country have adopted. First, I feel it is wrong for Goverment to use any form of coercion or force citizens into the adoption. The first thing Government ought to do is to sensitize, educate and encourage the citizens to see the advantages of using bitcoin. When the citizens see the need and adopt it out of free will, that is the beginning of the success. The Government is IMO hasty on the implementation. Offering the people $30 for downloading the Chivo wallet was a good incentive but not enough to sustain continuation of the project.

They need to take time to sensitize people - especially the technical aspects of handling bitcoin. Not everyone is technically savvy to be able to handle bitcoin wallet. To sensitize and teach the people on the technicalities of bitcoin could take several months or more than one year, it all depends on the peoples ability to understand. Again, since Bitcoin is very volatile, it is not going to be easy for some business outfits to adopt as they may be confused. Sensitization is the key - teaching the people how to profit and use Bitcoin, rushing the people will likely not yield results.

I think, El salvador need to go back to the drawing board to re-access the journey so far, highlight the mistakes, correct it and move on. With proper approach, they will make it.
Although it is very early to predict but of course the failure has started and there would be no stopping once the process begins.
This is very unfortunate for the the those who have invested in bitcoins.
There should be proper education prog to help people learn and understand it- otherwise these kind of incidents will happen.

That is very sad the people did not accept bitcoin. But is it really the people who are protesting of there are other factors involved as well.
Once Salvador was hub of bitcoin. What are people going to do with their bitcoins now? Is it the future of bitcoin?
