This shouldn't be a matter of opinion.  With the advent of provably fair casinos you can verify for yourself whether they are cheating you or not.  Of course, they all have a house edge, and so in that sense they aren't "fair".  Most only pay out 2x for a bet that wins 49.5% of the time.  That's a losing proposition long term.
Perhaps I should've clarified - I speaking about slots, not dice. I played a few dice games before but never really got into it, slots are my vice. In terms of provable fair, there's no way to determine that the difficulty level is being manipulated, or that real player are winning jackpots and such. That type of fairness can't be proved.

Thank you for your story. I should probably write something up myself. I'm a lot more cautious and selective with the casinos I choose to play with, but even so, it's still a lose-lose situation. Some of them have gotten so good at slowly draining your roll it's amazing. While I'm not nearly as bad as I used to be, I hit one up about 3x a week - 3x a week I lose, no kidding. Of course there are times I don't play at all... but I'm just grateful I'm not losing 10+BTC at a time like last year. Literally, it was nothing for me to have 200+ BTC in my 'disposable' wallet reserved for gambling only. I don't think I need to say that it's gone. I paid plenty casino employees' salary (and they know it), but never again. Now I stay below .1, on occasion up to .5.

No, I don't feel sorry for myself nor am I angry at the casinos or myself. I accepted that fate when I made the deposit. Here I am, thinking I'm testing the waters with small deposits... but that shit adds up, and quick. I came to the conclusion a long time ago that there are NO fair casinos (this is my rationale behind the testing), no matter how much you drop.

I made my first deposit today .1 BTC. I'm communicating with tech support right now via email and I'm told the issue should be fixed in a few hours. But here's what's going on....

In the beginning many of us complained of the slots not paying. It's true. There was a time I spun over 1000x without a single win. Of course I could care less because it was free voucher credit. We were told there was an issue with the slot difficulty level and the vouchers. Okay, I can live with that, but the problem is, it's still doing it and it's my btc this time! Plus, 3 scatters don't result in free spins as they should. I sent tech support an email with the screenshot and the rep said he didn't see the scatters. I would post it here, but I don't think there's a need. I just found it hilarious that I had to point them out! And I also did not receive the 200% bonus, but I'm sure this will be honored.

In the interim, I'm withdrawing what I have left. I just hope that when I make another deposit, the 200% will be granted since I didn't get it this time. I'm waiting to hear from tech support to see what they have to say about it.

Seriously? I wouldn't trust this if someone paid me!
926  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I need your creativity for 2 minutes PLEASE on: January 23, 2014, 01:25:07 PM
There could be a commercial that has a child somehow turn a play on words between the phonetic similarities between the words 'better,' and 'butter,' into a joke. Kid humorously confuses better and butter, then calls Bitcoin "butter money."

Butter money.

Bitcoin, money for butter, butter money

lol! Forgive me, I'm the last one to laugh as I'm not creative at all, but I just found this amusing! Maybe I don't quite get the butter part? But even so, I don't think this will make the cut. It's cute tho Tongue

Anyways, driving home yesterday I had a couple of ideas spring into my head for a name/slogan combo. The name has already been chosen but maybe you guys can play with these to help with a slogan?

Bitcoin ATACCS (pronounced addicts)
Appreciate The Art of Crypo Currency Synergy

Slogan could be something like:
The Bitcoin Society - All Bitcoin ATACCS Welcomed!
The Bitcoin Society - The Home of Bitcoin ATACCS

Bitcoin ATLS (pronounced atlas)
Admire? The Level of Synergy

Hell, IDK... not creative but maybe it could be useful to spring some more ideas.
927  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinBet Casino, Sportsbook - Now offering up to 200% Match Bonus up to $10,000! on: January 23, 2014, 12:59:30 PM
When I'm not too tired I will comeback and put into a neat, concise form of questions that have already been asked, and left completely unanswered by this PIECE OF SHIT SCAM ARTIST......I've devoted so much time to this stupid ass scam artist and making this crystal clear, if you are in any way UNCERTAIN that you should put your money into this casino

1) You should be absolutely certain; this place is not going to pay you a large win. Sure maybe little wins. Any big win... Goodluck:) ...
2) They are not provably fair. They have been PROVEN TO BE UNFAIR if you SIMPLY read through this entire thread you will see for yourself..

WHy the hell is CoinBet not answering questions and continuing to evade them, OVER AND OVER, and just change the subject... Because he's hoping you don't listen to the people telling the truth... Listen to the phone call, the read CoinBet's post......

This will be appreciated _computer_ but when you do - leave all bias aside! There hasn't been any solid proof to label coinbet.cc a scam. All we want is a list of the questions that haven't been answered, that's all. I'd hate for this to turn into a bashing event, because that's not the intent. Please don't make into that.

1) We don't know this yet. We can't use coinboss' win as a basis to make this accusation because the win was void from the start! What would be a nice to know is why coinboss had to pay the 6k to claim the 21k, keeping in mind this was before the rep knew his account was under investigation.
2) Fair, there was an issue with the slots' difficulty level and the vouchers (those are the claims relating to not being provably fair I recall, but there could be more), but they made attempts to correct the issue.
928  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinBet Casino, Sportsbook - Now offering up to 200% Match Bonus up to $10,000! on: January 23, 2014, 12:45:25 PM
-computer- you really need to step back from the computer since you are just throwing a bunch of crap against the wall to see what sticks.  The Wire Act or Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) may not cover BTC since it might not be considered a legitimate currency. All books are in the same quandary with Bitcoins and players from the US. I don't know if coinbet will be a stiff book or great book. I'm just siding with coinbet against boss since I truly believe that boss tried to pull a fast one. Plus it looks like coinbet can use it little help since it's outnumbered. Smiley
What's funny is that when I publicly asked Diaz and _computer_ to both provide proof that they're not the same person, Diaz/coinboss all of a sudden dropped his claim and settled for his initial deposit. But at any rate, I'm glad the 21k fiasco is over. I also don't know how great of a casino coinbett.cc will be... but I'm hoping that they become an asset to this community. We only have a handful of fair casinos, and we could definitely use another with a large variety of games. If they keep it up, I can imagine they could take a large chuck of the market share (fingers crossed).

US players are actually encouraged to use BTC to fund their accounts and to keep their accounts anonymous. The terms of certain payment processors require that we include the language you quoted in our terms and conditions, but bitcoin provides the anonymity needed for US players to still use our casino if they choose to. We have never terminated an account because it was from a particular country and we never will.
This is great! So one can deposit/withdraw BTC without actually signing up for an account? Since I already signed up I'll use mine but I'm making sure I understand. Actually, I tried to sign into my real account yesterday and got the error that my login was invalid Sad  but I was still able to sign into the first account that I asked to be cancelled. I'll contact tech support to fix it, but I just want to make sure before I do that I'm still able to play

If your deposit was converted improperly, please do email the info I requested above to support@coinbet.cc - we do NOT want you to have any discrepancies in your conversion, no matter how small. Sorry about that!
This is the type of customer service that keeps us coming back!  Smiley

I have faith in CoinBet seriously and I've been doing this for a long time.  I seriously do not think these are the type of people to take your money and run like bitcoinsports which was obvious since day 1. Coinbet- Please don't let scammers and shills scare you off.  Tighten up your operation a bit, and pay out legit gamblers.  Don't pay assholes who take try to scam you and save your money for the legit gamblers.
If you broke down scams player to book, 95% of the time it's the player that is trying to scam.
I wouldn't go as far to say 95% is all on the players; it's pretty evident how often we get scammed, which is why we're so damn weary! But as long as coinbet.cc continues to provide great service, there should be no reason why it can't succeed.
@ PharaohUB who are you calling a shill? Don't think you're referring to me of course, but it would be nice to know Tongue  Also, can you link me to the threads about bitcoinsports? I'm not sure if you're referring to betcoinsports? I've gots to know! Once upon a time betcoinsports was my fav... I'm on the hunt now and so hoping coinbet.cc makes the cut.

Reading through this saga makes me have so many questions it's not even funny.
If I were Coinboss and everything he said was true, I would not even request my funds back, I would be pulling out the guns and looking for suspicious people. I've watched Casino and wouldn't want to end up in a shallow desert grave. How did he scam the casino? All I see is that multiple accounts were apparently opened which violated the T&C but that is not scamming. I don't know and really this has been a fun read but exhausting at the same time.
There are still unanswered questions we have but this thread is so freakin messy I can't even find specific posts! And I doubt that everything coinboss said is true. Did he win 21k? Sure, but by fraudulent means. No one should expect coinbet..cc to explain in grave detail how the scam was executed (putting ideas in the minds of some) so be satisfied with the explanation provided - it was enough for us to determine from the start coinboss tried to pull a fast one! Hell if I were coinbet.cc, I wouldn't give him the initial deposit back, but that's me. And what is Casino, a movie? lol, do you honestly think it's that serious?

Fun read indeed Smiley  No doubt informative on both sides.
929  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinBet Casino, Sportsbook - Now offering up to 200% Match Bonus up to $10,000! on: January 22, 2014, 11:28:57 PM
What's up with the mismatched cert? This site brutally fails SSL/TLS https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=coinbet.cc&ignoreMismatch=on

They are wide open to MITM (no trust/mismatch cert) and DOS (client init renegotiation attack). Got gigantic red warning in Chromium didn't even bother signing up. Is there at least 2FA for withdrawal? If you must have a self-signed cert at least PGP key sign it's cert SHA1 fingerprints on your http landing page so we know it's the right one.

ummm... okay.... can you please explain in plain English? What does this mean?
930  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinBet Casino, Sportsbook - Now offering up to 200% Match Bonus up to $10,000! on: January 22, 2014, 09:55:03 PM

Coinboss -

You owe us an explanation. Are you agreeing to settle because I requested proof that you and computer are not the same?

Coinbet.cc -

Coinboss' decision to settle, if that's what he's doing, does not absolve you from the many questions people have. Also, will you return his initial deposit, or will you stand by your word to not cave to a scammer?

Can't say I speak for everyone, but inquiring minds would like to know.
931  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinBet Casino, Sportsbook - Now offering up to 200% Match Bonus up to $10,000! on: January 22, 2014, 09:42:01 PM
wow, what happened to coinboss ?
Did his brain washed ?
any one can give some information about who is guilty party in this all  Smiley

if I had to guess, I'd say both did something wrong, at least in part.

That's the way it appears to me as well. We may never know.
932  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinBet Casino, Sportsbook - Now offering up to 200% Match Bonus up to $10,000! on: January 22, 2014, 09:40:53 PM
well i think you did spend more than enough time in here for(...!?Huh...)
why don't you just drop it. and let every one make their mind about their service.
and all other issues can be dealt with other places.

Not nearly enough time, actually.
Why should it be dropped? Isn't the info everyone is requesting what we need to make up our minds? Don't understand rationale.
Please let me know where these issues can be dealt with? We can move it there, doesn't matter to me. Surely you're not talking about dealing with these issues privately... Questions were posed publically. Oh, maybe you're referring to moving is over to the scam accusation thread? Nope... Still doesn't apply. No one calling this casino a scam, we'd just like answers is all.

Does this make sense Smiley
933  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinBet Casino, Sportsbook - Now offering up to 200% Match Bonus up to $10,000! on: January 22, 2014, 03:32:17 PM
Coinbet.cc -

I forewarned this community is a difficult crowd; I didn't mislead you. I also suggested that you stand firm and hang in there. I still honor that position. But part of standing firm is making sure you have a solid leg to stand on.

Right now... your leg is in the form of answers/responses to the many questions we have. Please don't feel rushed, but don't take too long, don't want anyone else to take your spotlight. Good/bad publicity is all the same. Vindicate yourself by offering real answers. I assure you that lots of us will shut the fuck up Smiley and begin to see you in a different light. Understand that we want to see bitcoin related businesses succeed, but equally important, we want and need the integrity that comes along with service oriented providers.

We'll even make this easier for you... Anyone willing to compile all the unanswered/need clarity questions we posed into one post? I'd do it, but I'm working right now and can't dedicate that much time.
934  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinBet Casino, Sportsbook - Now offering up to 200% Match Bonus up to $10,000! on: January 22, 2014, 03:18:09 PM
Plus, the vouchers were a MAJOR fiasco.  You were handing them out left and right, and nowhere was there any explanation about what the requirements would be for the vouchers.  The terms talk about "bonuses" but you have separate bonuses so the question is - are vouchers bonuses or not?  There was no clearcut answer.  Then you changed the rules in the middle of the game and said, "but wait, there are strings attached, you have to deposit to use the voucher, etc."  Then you canceled the vouchers.  Honestly, yes scammers should not have taken advantage of you, but at the same time there is no one to blame but yourselves.

Now people are left with a bad taste in their mouth and some questions because you gave out these vouchers and then basically changed the terms on them and then canceled them.

Yeah, the vouchers were. But honestly I don't blame them for cancelling the voucher system. Actually, I don't even have an issue with it being changed mid roll-out. What I don't agree with is patrons who didn't try scamming the system weren't grandfathered in under the original requirements (whatever those were... I'd have to look). That's the part I think caused the most headache for us.
935  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinBet Casino, Sportsbook - Now offering up to 200% Match Bonus up to $10,000! on: January 22, 2014, 03:10:46 PM
Cris your comment of this:

We do not accept deposits or wagers from the USA, so legal or not I’d be fighting a losing battle because I’m from the USA. No point in even discussing it further.

Shows a major issue with the site.  They say you can't play from US, and if you do they will close your account etc., but they are dying to get US players to play there based on previous posts, I think in this thread, where the owner says "if you're from US you won't even have to enter personal data".  They will pay smaller amounts but they CAN point to those terms at any time and say  they won't pay you because you violated.  This is one example of some of the confusion I see in the terms.  You guys really need to get a lawyer, or someone smart at least, to look at and revise the terms.

Whew! Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. I wasn't sure if I was reading too much into things Smiley  I do that sometimes, a lot actually.
936  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinBet Casino, Sportsbook - Now offering up to 200% Match Bonus up to $10,000! on: January 22, 2014, 12:52:33 PM
Damn it. I can't help myself.... Just a few points here, nothing out of the ordinary when situations like this arise.

- coinbet.cc, some of your posts are contradicting, you're called out on some but you manage not to respond conclusively
- coinbet.cc you're making claims that computer and Diaz are the same but have nothing concrete to back it up except that Diaz disappeared. He posted yesterday. We can't use that reason.
- computer, you're willing to prove you're not Diaz. If you're willing to send me DOX to prove it (Diaz would have to as well) I'm willing to verify.
- computer, while you bring up other people's accusations, you're pretty passionate about Diaz’s. I wouldn't go as far to say its proof you're him, but don't fault if you're accused. Not until you show real proof will we be satisfied.
- coinbet, you've been asked by several members to proof of a couple a couple of things. This is normal. Let's forget about that email until we have proof it's real. And assumptions from other people of the possibility of your inability to pay large wins will also stick in our mind. 700 addresses or not, it shouldn't be hard to post a couple that contains a nice sum.
- Diaz, I personally have witnessed a thread where the scammee was throwing proof left and right and he actually turned out to be the real scammer in the deal. I'm not calling you a scammer, but the audio was a nice touch in helping you out. You'll never get paid but the truth about this needs to come out regardless.
- coinbet, it seems internal processes are broken. Your reps not knowing your T&C is unacceptable to say the least. You should also configure that red flag system to notify your reps ASAP.

Got a few more but we'll start here.
937  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Help me select hardware-- asic or scrypt or both????? on: January 22, 2014, 11:43:23 AM
there is no way you earn $800 in one month with electricity cost calculated!
even if you have it for free it doesn't mean everybody have it for free!
dogecoin dropped down 50% in value since yesterday. good luck with that.

Lucky Cris, keep digging!

Given the price spike in Doge, I wouldn't doubt darkphantom's claim. He owes a GPU rig, is actively mining... Do you have first hand knowledge, you're making an assumption based on what? And so what if Doge deceased in value? That's the risk all miners take. Even people who buy and sit on coins, for that matter! Wow. You debunked your own suggestion, lol.

And great advice, I most certainly will Wink I never stop digging Smiley
938  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Help please, newbie at mining on: January 22, 2014, 11:05:03 AM
Thank you for your answer.

The power is 460 W. Is this enough?

I'm sorry, I honestly don't know, not familiar enough. I guess what I'm more or less proposing is for you to ensure the unit is getting adequate power. Is 460w the power requirement? If so, is your unit getting that much power? Awhile ago when I was deciding to get a BF device, I remember there being an issue with the latest version. Come to think of it... The second time the thought came to mind to buy a BL device it was their 50 Gh unit! I think they discontinued the 60 because of power and are now selling the 50Gh unit in its place. I'm 90% sure it was this 60Gh unit I though about getting from eBay or Amazon, then checked BL site only to find they weren't offering the 60 Gh anymore. Naturally I had to find out why.

If this turns out to be your issue, please say so on my rep thread Smiley
939  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Help please, newbie at mining on: January 22, 2014, 10:27:05 AM
Your earnings are sent to the address specified at the pool. I don't own and never owned one of these devices, but when I had a lil asic mining farm, I didn't realize full hash power until the proper power requirements was met. That mean I had to buy better quality USB hubs. But different devices, probably won't solve your issue, but have you checked to make sure your unit is getting enough power?
940  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinBet Casino, Sportsbook - Now offering up to 200% Match Bonus up to $10,000! on: January 22, 2014, 09:43:06 AM
I listening to the audio right now... I give up! lol. This only generated more questions...

Diaz - How much did you initially deposit and what was the total amount of voucher credit and bonus you received on that deposit? And before you attempted to get resolution here, why didn't you reach out and try to get a loan or something for the 6k? You could've offered someone 2 grand for fronting you or something. I wouldn't think doing that would be considered scam behavior but IDK.

coinbet.cc - Diaz's violation of the T&C aside, I'm confused why he had to deposit 30% of his winnings to withdraw? I thought the requirement for withdrawal was based on bonuses and voucher credits, not winnings? That's what I'm gathering from this. If he had to deposit the 6k, a 1/3 of his winnings, would he then have to meet requirements to withdraw the 21k?
