921  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reminder for crypto newbies, traders. Be cautious with new exchanges on: March 12, 2021, 05:24:43 AM

If the funds are illegal, so far you use a legit p2p exchange, you have nothing to be worried about, it is not black market but I am speaking about the ones on centralized exchanges, most p2p are centralized, only few are not centralized. But if decentralized one is used, I do not know what could happen in this case.
Centralized p2p like LBC or Pax never going to help you legally if you traded with someone who is having illegal source of income. I am personally trading on LBC for more than year I know lot of people got penalty from the government because they traded with hacked bank accounts and LBC may not even share the KYC details of the user who traded with you so beware of p2p trades no matter it is either LBC or Localcryptos.

Hear hear.

Isn't it funny how no-one seems to whine about copyright or plagiarism, whenever someone posts photos like this one? Cool
Because the whole universe like tits and ass so they were busy looking at it rather than complaining.XOXO. Cheesy

It's also a problem of Electrum: it shouldn't use inputs that cost more in fees than they're worth.

Electrum, the most preferred and suggested wallet for Bitcoin by the bitcoin community itself got very shitty fee estimation, initially they sucks with the ETA feature only but now I can see difference in the value provided in the Mempool option from the actual Memepool size.

Giving a warning can save beginners from losing their money but wallet providers actually don't care about it.
926  Local / India / Re: Do you have a KYC verified account on Indian exchanges - read this! on: January 11, 2021, 08:28:45 PM
Quote
Buy btc from p2p exchange or other OTC medium, use non-custodial wallets.

p2p platform also demands KYC verification in order to facilitate smooth transactions. any recommended p2p platform in India?
Not every p2p platform demands KYC for example Localcryptos which is one of the good non KYC peer to peer trading platforms for Indians.

https://localcryptos.com/Bitcoin/India

Click the above links to get the deals to buy and sell bitcoins for INR, well still the biggest disadvantage of non KYC trading platform is their prices which are actually non profitable for the user, only advertisers are going to make profits there.

933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: November 21, 2020, 06:13:03 PM
Greetings to ya all

First, am not a gambler, I ones was but didn't play for long, but i have many friends who are into it and it's because of one of them I quit gambling (not quit like never play again, but quit like I no longer play it frequently like before).

I have this friend named Bassey, he needs help, his problem is that he's addicted to gambling, we both work in the same company, but when you see this guy, he looks so homeless, he's gone out of style, he no longer dresses well, feed well, sleep well, he's always looking like he's sick every minute of the day.

Our salaries are ways paid on the 28th of every month, but before 5th of the next month, Bassey is already out of cash and asking me to lend him some money so he could feed till he gets his next salary,
At first, I didnt know what was going on, cus we are both young and married, i always wondered what he uses all his money for cus both of our wife's are working too.

After asking him severally without an answer, he called me one day and opened up to me that he feels like he's loosing his mind, i asked him how, he said he's addicted to gambling, betting on football, horse and dog races, he siad that he doesn't keep money without ending up gambling with it, that the temptation is just irresistible, it has gotten so bad that when ever he's out of cash to play, is either he ask me to lend him or he goes and withdraw money from his wife's account without her permission, the woman complained and complained, got tired, took their only son and left him alone.

Sometimes, I have the feeling that maybe my friend is cursed, but sincerely, I can't say for sure, I personally used to gamble like three to four times in a week, but after I discovered what my friend is going through, I reduced to once or twice in a month, I no longer gamble for money, I gamble whenever I feel like throwing some money away for fun, and if in the process I win, I never let that win over cloud my sense of reasoning, this is different with Bassey, if he plays and wins, he still ends up spending every penny of his winnings on betting on other games on that very spot right there, good thing that with my help, he trying his best to break free from the habit.

So am urging everyone out there playing to play, but try not to make it a lifestyle, try to always play with only money youve decided to loose, play for the fun and don't expect anything back... Play and don't get addicted.

The habit of gambling commonly same for a person in the situation of success when he get success in gambling it will be a habit for him in most of the time so getting your mind clear will help for get away from this but it will not been a bad habit

934  Other / Off-topic / Re: Healthy Peoples Don't Die on COVID-19 on: November 21, 2020, 05:40:58 PM
Im not afraid on covid19 because im a healthy person(prove me wrong)
People having the disease could possibly have medical conditions knowingly or unknownly to them, medical conditions like:

1. Coronary artery disease (CAD) also called myocardial infection, necrosis of the heart cells resulted as a result of blood cloths in heart arteries that led to embolism and throbolism, the embolism is caused by arteriosclerotic plague.
2. Asthma
3. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
4. Hypertension or increase in blood blood pressure
5. Peripheral artery disease
6. Obesity
7. Pneumonia

According to the epidemiological study, out of 100% people that were infected, 80% showed mild or no symptoms at all, roughly 15%-20% with pneumonia, 4% with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and/or shock, and 1% people that died.

With what I commented above, it is clear that most people that healed from the disease have good health conditions but few people with the conditions mentioned above or related ones likely died.

The best ways to deal with covid 19 is to:
1. Exercise daily, and this can also help reduce obesity
2. Eating healthy foods, especially fruits
3. Minimising stress
4. Not smoking
5. Having good sleep
6. Not drinking too much alcohol (low long term consumption or high short term consumption)
7. This is very important too, to have medical conditions under control.

As well can see, if all these listed above are practiced, they will all improve our immunity, and protect our body from mircoorganisms invasion to a great extent and also defending our body against any invasion and disease.

And do not forget to take multivitamins and always use face mask and senitizers.

More than health condition safety is more important than your health condition I think this will help you live better in this type of situation
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long until we can bet with bitcoin in real life casinos? on: November 20, 2020, 07:06:25 PM
What do you think?

at some point people will be able to walk in a casino and just bet on slot machines with bitcoin?
or play poker using crypto, but irl?

do you think it will become a mass adoption currency or it'll keep as it is on online websites only?

of course some merchants and places already adopt crypto and BTC as a way of payment, but curious here:
how long you think it'll take to reach the point where we can bet in real life places with bitcoin?

The value decides everything if the price is going like this definitely the adoption will happen for the Bitcoin in all the places definitely Bitcoin investment right now is definitely good for the people to make profit is here and it keep increasing show the eruption is also involved in this thing

Gamblers are always expecting win only but the truth is it will not happened for everyone in all the time so success and defeat are always common for everyone and gambling is also included in this I will not completely say Gamblers success rate is very low and many of the people getting more wins also
