921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you quit gambling for a friend? on: February 11, 2024, 09:25:42 AM
Would you do the same for a friend? Me personally I think I would have just confronted such a friend and told them to seek help instead of me altering my lifestyle for his benefit. If they didn't seek help to the point that it was affecting me I would've just stopped hanging out with them silently I think. A friend would've had to be a real good one to make an exception at least.
if it is just a casual friend that you hang out with from time to time with your other friends, I'd say just stop hanging out with that friend especially if their addiction is ruining the mood every time you hang out with your friends. if it is a very close friend of mine I'd confront them and give them a reality check, tell them that they need to get professional help and let them know the negative effect of their gambling addiction is causing to the people around them.

Addiction from group gambling, can be contagious from one friend to another. So, if a gambler continues playing the game with the addicted person, it could affect the next person. The need to caution the player to stop gambling is also important. Because as a friend, he's meant to be helped. However, he shouldn't be neglected. But moderated. Letting him stay on his own without an attention, will increase his compulsive gambling. And he can establish friendship with different gamblers who are not yet aware of his addiction. A friend should check those possibilities before avoiding another addicted gambler. If the still responsible gambler is capable of mingling with his addicted friend without engaging into gambling with him, which is almost impossible, he should be there for him. Especially when the person doesn't have close family that'll take care of him.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for fun vs gambling for the financial benefit. on: February 11, 2024, 12:00:48 AM

Gamblers have multiple reasons for their activities, and it also includes fun. Not everyone is there for the money. But, on a bit of it, the gamblers also require money to gamble. So, one way or another the gambler would want to win money. Yet it doesn't mean it's his priority. Whether there is a win or not, the fun gambler doesn't care. Those who gamble for money, most of the time, don't find themselves happy if they don't find themselves some wins. The struggle gets worse if he desperately goes for those wins. Which could affect his gambling habit, and lead to compulsive gambling. Such things as this makes the player to regret his gambling habit, becuase he can lose out all his money on the process. So, it's not that the fun gamblers don't want to play for money, no. They also need money to creep in, but they're not worried over if it arrives or not. Thereby, keeping clean their mental and emotional confidence. Less worries.
Classifying gamblers as fun or profit hunters simplifies a complex subject. All gamblers realize the stakes are money. Their risk-reward connection distinguishes them. Aren't you foolish to say fun gamblers don't care about wins and losses? Success still depends on money. The difference is how they handle gaming results. This is about human psychology and money value, not fun or desperation

Compulsion to gamble is more than just a desire to win. Control (or lack thereof) and psychological triggers that transform casual to compulsive are key. There's no point in romanticizing or demonizing gambling without considering its effects on society and individuals

When working with the human brain and how people think, don't use yourself as a general example. If you allow the outcome of your gambling to affect your happiness, it's your choice and personal problem. And it also depends on your upbringing, and the type of neighborhood you grew up from, maybe around people who don't get satisfied over what they've got and go hunting for money in casinos, when things go wrong, they come out frowning their faces like morons who have not had food to eat since sliced bread. If it bothers you, it doesn't bother me. Please don't use such words as "foolish" when quoting my account. Or better off, put you on ignore. I think you need to take some break from writing, and rethink before responding to people, before you begin to get aggressive over what doesn't worth being aggressive for.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any fun in losing while gambling on: February 10, 2024, 11:51:09 PM
there is no pleasure in losing, let alone losing money in gambling games, even rich people will be annoyed if they experience defeat, it's nonsense if someone says it, there's no need to be hypocritical even if you say you gamble for fun but if you lose of course you won't be happy

       -   Among those who want to win gambling, they are the number one ones who will not be happy because they are still praying to win the game or get the jackpot. Especially for those seeking employment or a source of income.

But there are some gamblers who are not affected when they lose gambling because they are only after fun and there are no other reasons or just to pass the time.

The way gamblers feel when they lose their money always make up a top discussion in the gambling niche. Because a lot of gamblers, including myself, at some points don't always laugh over losing money. However, between being sad and happy, one should take happiness and not get himself bothered over what he can't reverse. That's the self-control working in the life of the gambler. The market is large and different people act uniquely, not all would be sad. So, the goal is to stay stable, panicking only worsens the reaction of the gambler to get estranged with his method and try things he's not used to doing, then lose out most of his money. However, if he had the control, to stay calm and happy, he wouldn't rush over taking other means of making quick money in gambling.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: February 10, 2024, 11:37:22 PM
between rich and poor gamblers who take the biggest risks are poor people, because poor people really hope for an instant win, while rich people tend to enjoy the game more and they only gamble to get rid of their boredom, they use gambling as a way to relieve boredom, whereas poor people think of doubling their money

Kind of true. But the fun fact is, as a poor gambler, a hundred dollars is a big amount for me. But, Rich gamblers make $100 per spin in a slot game. I don't know which one should be considered as risky. Because I couldn't even afford to deposit an amount that a rich gambler may place a bet in a one-slot spin.

Poor people indeed try to multiply their balance which is another reason they become gambling addicts. But, It's also true that rich people do not gamble only for fun. They also try to win big. Otherwise, they could have play demo mode.

Risk is meant to be a personal decision. Rich gamblers who chose to wager more money in gambling has a higher chance of winning his game. The low rollers, have other methods of trying to make a few bucks that'll make their day. Staying contented is the right thing for every gambler. I don't think there should be some social status in the gambling niche. Any gambler who focuses on risk, including the rich, can get richer or broke. Depending on the strategies he implements in his gambling behavior. Anyways, we shouldn't be categorizing gamblers by how much they've got in their bank accounts. Such things have made the low rollers to try mimicking the wagering style of the high rollers, and it affects them a lot. Gamblers deserve to focus and make the best strategy for them, to stay responsible. Not being bothered of taking risks or not. Gambling is risk.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another health benefit of online gambling on: February 10, 2024, 11:22:13 PM
Betting with online gambling firms will shield you from contracting communicable diseases because you are all alone in a comfortable atmosphere. My neighbor's behavior has made me focus only on crypto casinos because I am scared of my health. Don't get me wrong there are many well-built and very comfortable physical casinos that offer quality services, but when you are an online gambler you will not need to worry about the health concerns of fellow gamblers.

If you're talking about been overcrowded I understand your point here, but let also divide the overcrowding into two categories and define each of them, you can go to a remote area gambling casino house and feels irritated because of how the whole place is dirty and stinkingly smelling while all manner of low class gamblers are making their entry and exit in the casino, you could also choose to go to a developed city and pay money to enter into a modern facility casino building fully airconditioned and even reserved for yourself a VIP segment, because you have the money and want to enjoy gambling where others are, but using the online platforms has to do with much of being private.

Yeah, it's true, but some communicable diseases don't care about being a VIP or not. Diseases are not for the poor alone, anybody can contract Covid for example. So, to avoid such things one should be careful about visiting such environments. I understand what Op insinuates and it's a valid idea. However, it's always hard to stay indoors without going out to visit the casino and mingle with other gamblers in the neighborhood or city. In the scenario, gamblers are expected to be watchful of the symptoms from the people next to them. One shouldn't stay close by to someone who is coughing a lot. Although the exclusive casinos for VIP is more serene and calm for the health of people that visits the place. But it doesn't mean the player can't get infected there.
926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking a break in gambling on: February 10, 2024, 10:53:03 PM
Taking a break for awhile is not a big deal cause I don't gamble always and besides I don't take gambling so serious, I only bet when I have the money for bet but if there's no spare funds, I will wait for awhile.
Sometimes when I see people talking about their addict lifestyle and they can't resist the act for a day I will be surprised. The reason why people like this still find it difficult to take a break or quit is because they stayed too long with the act like spending more time to gamble and it'll take time for such person to quit

Taking a break in gambling is a good quality of responsible gambling. I don't miss out on gambling vacations especially on period of severe fatigue and tiredness. It helps in revitalizing the gambler to think better on his next moves. When on this break, I personally don't bother about taking a visit to the casino site. Players who find it difficult as you said may not have participated in such practices during their early gambling days. Avoiding a break also contributed to their compulsive gambling conditions. It'll also be hard to correct, since they are not familiar with such behaviors. However, the lifestyle of an addict doesn't include a break. Taking a break means he's not addicted anymore. Or in the verge of correcting his gambling addiction. However, when a person decides to overwork himself gambling each moment of the day, he'll definitely face difficulty in gambling.
927  Other / Off-topic / Re: Having a regular/steady income is important as a gambler. on: February 09, 2024, 07:46:53 AM
Simply put, when you have a stable income, your gambling psychology will be more comfortable and less volatile. Because if you lose all your current money, you still have a job to make up for it. But there is a key point here, provided you don't let your gambling affect your current job. For example, after losing all your money one night, you don't want to go to work tomorrow morning, and gradually it will drag your work down, then it will be a problem. Therefore, I think having a stable income is just a necessary condition, but not enough, you need to control your gambling, it must be under control so as not to affect your current job. If you can do it, you can play however you want. Maybe you won't be rich, but you won't have to go into debt or become unemployed because of gambling, right? Grin
Right!
A lot of people don't understand this logic, and they think that a person who has a source of income won't have issues being a gambler but it's not true. You will have problems even if you have a job if you are an irresponsible and reckless gambler because you won't get paid in one day from your job but you can lose everything you have in a single day if you are gambling compulsively, so it depends on how you carry out your gambling activities and nothing else.

That's why, people who have stable incomes should keep in mind that they won't be able to make it with their income if they don't have any control over their emotions when it comes to gambling. You become mentally unstable when you lose a lot of money, and when that happens, you will barely be able to work hence you risk losing your job doing that.

When a person is no longer comfortable or satisfied with his salary, he'd work overtime. That means a gambler who gambles with his income without any remorse or care will soon not be satisfied with his salaries. Thereby causing him more stress, which is not good for a gambler to be so stressed out that he can't control himself or decision. Hence, gamblers who earn income don't have much advantage so far. Other than a backup, on where to get extra income when their money is exhausted. But sooner or later the player may then indulge in taking loans. It can affect his working lifestyle and emotional reactions to certain issues in his workplace. Because he's not stable money and emotional wise, he won't be as responsive as when he was employed to work with the company. However, it's great to have a source of income as a gambler, but it's not simple to handle, if the person can't control himself.
928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: February 08, 2024, 11:58:49 PM
I would say it depends but the truth is all gambling games still have a percentage of its possible win or loss dedicated to luck.when we make gambling stakes, we hope on winning but the truth is there is always a chance of losing. Aside the fact that all gambling games still require a fraction of luck , they don't all depend equally on luck. Some include things like experience, statistics and even proper analysis which some are just fully luck based.
Take soccer predictions for example with statistics and analysis you can raise your winning odds higher making luck to be more on your side.
Gambling isn't all about luck because as a gambler, you must learn how to be efficiently strategic in your gambling activities in other to increase your chances of winning your stakes but we must also not shy away from the fact that the result of ones gambling is mostly affected by how lucky he can be in his gambles.

For instance, there was this particular form gambling that requires anyone who wants to gamble on it to be well experienced in it as well as to be very strategic in other to be able to win it. But there was a day someone who haven't engaged in it before joined us to gamble and ended up winning more than any other person including the most experienced and strategic of us all. That was the day I came to terms with the fact that gambling requires more of luck than experience to get winnings.

Gambling requires luck, but not all the time. As you said some new gamblers can win big right in front of other experienced gamblers who are struggling for a win. However, analysis work fine, but not always. Those who predict games using different form of analyzing tools or research, still end up losing. But, since a lucky person can't keep on winning, with his truckload of lucks, then gambling has no certain criterion for winning. A lucky person can be struggling to get a win. So, it's not a thing to bother about whether one requires luck or not. With the luck the win is not guaranteed. To win, one needs to be steadfast, and know his ways around the game he loves playing. Given time he'd win and make some profits. It also requires timing, if the gambler is good at knowing the way the machine works, he can take advantage of it. That's for the offline casino.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for fun vs gambling for the financial benefit. on: February 08, 2024, 11:48:41 PM
No body plays gamble for fun. rather play to try luck if it will be a means to financial end. And the Quest to achieve this task has been an endless journey. Because people who came with the intention to play this game and cashout out has turn to a regular customer of loosing fund to casino sites. Some have sold all there belonging to make sure they could win and yet they couldn't win as expected. Some people who never took gambling serious  were able to win big what am ironic situation.

The amount I can invest that will make gambling to become more emotional to me, is $20 and above. because it's a big amount of money. despite it is a peanut money to some people, because I know what that amount could afford In my country.

For gamblers who cannot control themselves to stop gambling if the set limit runs out due to their losses, then this gambler will not be able to gamble for fun. However, for those who can be disciplined, they consider gambling as a place to find his luck with a minimum deposit and never exceed the limit of money that they think is worth for gambling, maybe he can find the fun side of the gambling. I think gamblers like this not just thinking about doubling their money and winnings. But, they are trying to entertain him self with his money to gamble and have fun with that.

930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: February 08, 2024, 11:39:18 PM

Addiction is not good in general. A person who is in this situation can't think about what is right and what is wrong. It was a mental illness that changed everything in their life, decision-making, attitude, etc.

It was hard to imagine which is why we should not let that situation happen to us. We need to control gambling habits as much as possible; must stick to being a responsible gambler. It is not hard to do that if we consider gambling as just for fun, not a source of income because that will affect our thinking as well. If we lose, just forget it rather than chase them as it only leads to overspending.

Addiction in any form is not good,So the gambling addiction also not the good one to the gamblers. The gambling addiction causes the gamblers to be directed by the mental illness. The result of the gambling addiction is mostly the mental illness to the gamblers. When the mind is not in peace will leads to the addiction to the game without any conditions. Finally the gamblers will not accept the loss in the real world,So surely the loss can’t be handled by the gambling site. The domestic violence was the biggest problem cause by the gambling addiction, many gamblers face this situation in their life.

A sad experience as such in the family isn't great for an addicted gambler's health, even when he's fine. Everything they did during their addiction days always reflect to their memory after getting cured. Hence, the cause of such things could be frustration. An addicted person wants to win big, but due to his problem gambling nothing good comes out from his gambling results. When the win appears, the gambler still doesn't know how he spends the money. So, the stress and mental disorder could make the gambler to treat his loved ones in a disdained manner. Such things are the disadvantages of gambling, as when one is not careful, he could be in a state of mind where those he cared for would be suffering alongside him, in pains and emotionally.
931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: February 07, 2024, 10:01:59 PM
I don't know why this kind of influencer exist and why people still believe them. It's not about just believing, they straight up worship them. Gambling is all about luck and you cannot change anything about it no matter how much you try. This is not about skills that you can improve over time or you can copy someone else's advice to create the same outcome. Possibilities and probabilities are the major factor in gambling.
It's because this is the generation that everyone can become a star, or what we call influencers. Youtube, IG and other social media produces the worst and best influencer out of every genre that we have in our society. And that's why they are called influencers, they become niche expertise, in our case, in the gambling industry. And then they become or we allow them to establish themselves as experts or authorities. But if you look closely, it could also be you or me, if we allow ourselves to go out and put our gambling "exploits" as well. However, it's not for everyone, and I do agree that we shouldn't base our gambling to this kind of people and like straight up worship them. And we don't know if what they show to us are real as obviously, they are paid by this casinos and perhaps the game could be adjusted to them to give those who follow them a feeling that they can also duplicate that kind of winnings.

The social media world is giving out lots of opportunities for everyone who is able to market his base or account to a wider range of followers. How his followers behave towards them varies. And not everyone listens or adheres to their advice. However, most people in the crowd will desire them because they're being desired. Then the wins they post on their pages also helps the influencer's followers to trust him to an extent of trying out their gambling methods. With the new developments, brands now took advantage of the benefits given to the influencers to be able control his fans. Advertisers milk such opportunities, from influencers, and it converts, especially on the gambling niche, due to the numerous rules.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling by financial dependents. on: February 07, 2024, 09:54:33 PM
The rich children will not feel the pain until the support of their parents had loss. Many of them help their children at the hard times of gambling, the gambling need to have the support by the other sources to survive in the gambling field.
No matter the financial background, gambling is never good for children. Children have no business gambling as they should be focused on their education and finding their career path. Even the gambling companies understands this that is why it is always enshrined in their TOS that children less than a certain age are forbidden from using their services. I understand that some parents tend to provide everything their child wants even some they are not supposed to be involved in, that is the only reason a parent will support the gambling of their children who will most likely not succeed because they will approach gambling with lackadaisical attitude.

It is hardly possible for financial dependents to make good gamblers. It is like gambling with borrowed funds which never works.

The kids also go as far as to get all the required documents needed to bypass the KYC. Sometimes the parent of the child wouldn't know how their ward got access to a gambler account, despite being a teenager below the gambling age. The computer knows no face, it depends on the submitted credentials, unlike the brick-and-mortar casino where the person can be known to be too young for gambling. In cases as complained by the Op, the child should be brought close to his parents, and share some vital conversations with them. It's not a problem to solve over the phone. However, the overall rate of kids who are into gambling is increasing. Thereby minimizing the difficulty of getting to access to a gambling platform. As parents, following the trends in our ward's life, can be helpful in dealing with the new habits our kids learn outside the home. It's not a hard thing to spend more time with the children, compared to treating them of gambling addiction.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: February 07, 2024, 09:44:49 PM
~snip~
The fact is that we humans find it easier to find something wrong than finding something right. So if an assumed expert gives his analysis and the game fails, people would pay more attention to that (maybe because it hurts) than if they had a win. I think that is why some people don’t like to share their analysis. What I believe makes someone good at analysis is if they win more than they lose, let’s say the least of 6 wins out of 10 games. But still don’t trust anyone because the analysis you listen to and make your decision with could be the one that fails, you just never know until you lose money.

Yeah, you're probably right.

At the end of the day most people are just simply trying to make some money, so that's what most people will try to do.
And by doing this, we learn why we don't easily trust someone. Because if they were right, I was sure they didn't bother themselves telling people about their predictions instead, they kept it. However, they wanted to share and make people think they would win by following their predictions. Predictions are just assumptions and it will be wrong. Maybe we believe that there are gambling experts but talking about predictions, it is different. We can predict of course but never expect for sure winnings, the same thing about following experts' predictions.

What makes them gambling experts is from the results of their games, and how far they've gone utilizing their gambling strategies. The need for being a professional gambler is not to supply analysis for a token or a percentage if the prediction works. Experts spend time doing it for themselves. No need meddling with other players and trying to convince them to try out their analysis. Because it can get wrong for the next person. Most of the times. Gamblers who neglect their predicting skill, and don't work to figure out ways of making an organized method of gambling, are the reason why some unqualified experts come out from the blues to sell predictions. Causing more loss of money for the gambler. Even when he wins, he'd give out some to the expert for helping him win. That's not a good means of gambling. The fun will not stay there for a long period. Gamblers also get compulsive about buying gambling predictions.
934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: February 07, 2024, 09:33:19 PM
mine is chasing losses and using money I can't afford to lose, that mistake has ruined my funds and money that I shouldn't be using for gambling multiple times. this used to happen to me a lot in the past, the urge and the feeling that you'll get your losses back was just too much that you convince yourself that risking money you can't afford to lose is worth it. of course, the majority of the time it doesn't work(there are times that it does) and I end up losing more than I can afford to lose, luckily this is in the past. while I sometimes still get the urge, I am far more responsible now and know what to prioritize.

A lot of people that should be experienced still make the costly mistake of chasing their losses. Perhaps feeling pretty emotional after having a round or two of losses, he’ll decide to continue playing having unrealistic hopes of getting his winnings back and hopefully get something on top.

I’m most of the time sensible enough to not use money that I can’t afford to lose but I too get moved to chase the losses I had sometimes but like you noted, you’ve got to be more responsible and learn to prioritize what you classify as important things in your life.
We all get emotional and urged to take some not so good decisions that would later cost us. Sadly, not everyone could withstand such urges.

It's fine that the habit has been put to the past and Iroh has himself focused on being a responsible gambler. At some point I felt such urge but given time it started dwindling backward that I never thought about doing such things. Since it has been known to me that the method doesn't work well for any gambler. Rather it affects the bank roll of the gambler, and he'd lose control in the process. Hence, the goal for each gambler is to keep up and advance his strategies, someday, the player will make wins. Trying to rush the wins and get it real fast and by all means, isn't a better way of fixing our gambling method, such that it'll yield us some funds. Wagering smaller amounts that won't affects us if we lose, can be tricky. That's why any type of gambling can find himself in a situation of chasing loss. Depending on the nature of his day. The urge keeps coming to try it and win big. Sometimes it'll be hard to control the urge.
935  Other / Off-topic / Re: You can not win if you do not risk on: February 06, 2024, 03:15:10 PM
Only risk what you can afford to lose. And we know that a gambler can only win big like more chances if they risk big so dont expect a lot if you only gamble a little. Sire there are people who wins big with smal bets but thats what luck does so dont lose hope

I think people often misjudge the amount of money that they feel it is ok to lose. Either that or they play until they forget themselves and once they realize they are in trouble, it is too late and all the money is gone.

What the saying should be: only gamble small.

As long as people play with teeny tiny amounts of money, they can have the same adrenaline rush of gambling but without the part where they doom themselves into a really bad financial situation.

The confusion of this type of gambler who wagers smaller amount could begin when he gets a big win using this method. Gamblers need to be emotionally ready for a win or loss. Both plays huge impact in the life of the gambler. Taking risks in gambling is not mainly a criterion for winning big. However, some players do regret that they didn't risk a huge amount of money, when they won with a tiny amount. This thought can make a gambler want to increase the amount of money for gambling. While he does that, he'd be calculating over his memory how much money he'd win wagering a huge amount. One may think that if he continues like this, he'd be able to win regardless of how long it consumes. The player then forgets about the weight of his bankroll, because he thinks a single win would be able to replenish for all he's lost in the process of wagering huge amount of money. Instead of undergoing such risks consistently, I think being conscious of the right moment for such would be nice and save money for the gambler, to play some other times.
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do i handle my first gambling experience on: February 06, 2024, 03:01:13 PM
The money gambling offers to players disappears faster than that of those who run a night club business. They're some industries that tend to hand out money to people, but sooner the person isn't left with a dime. How the money was gotten seem fast to the player, and he trusts himself on winning anytime soon. Spending the money recklessly emerges in the person's thoughts, that he wouldn't have the slightest means of getting hold to his self-control skill. So, gamblers must pay attention to their emotional responses to winning big. It'll help them bypass some reckless spending behavior. Newbie gamblers may not be equipped with these advises but can handle how things are being done. Everyone has to stay careful, because it's their money that is at bay, so no need to be less concerned about the usage of our money. Gamblers who forget about maintaining their money, inevitably get stuck in the trap of reckless expenses.
I think this is most common to newbies but there are some normal gamblers or let me call them experienced gamblers too who get excited especially when they break above their biggest win ever and they likely spend reckless after they have won such big amount of money even if they know they don't get that lucky always and should be careful spending .

The excitement of such a win has been the biggest challenge of both experienced and newbie gamblers, if they are able to get over such excitements, they will be able to probably spend responsibly and not exhaust their wins within a very short period of time but when they are not careful enough to not allow the excitement get a greater part of them, then they will most likely still fall victims of reckless spending every time they get lucky and will always get back to scratch again even after a successful big win which was supposed to help them take good care of their selves and reduce how much they gamble.

Instead of running a self-control check on this, it's better the gambler seize to have access to the money. Because the human performance when there is lots of money can differ compared to when the money is average. Even the experienced gamblers can face troubles trying to maintain their self-consciousness on matters as this, that's why many gamblers fall victim to such uncalculated expenses. So, if a gambler is concerned about saving up the money he won in gambling, no need engaging in gambling anymore, as he could get comfortable along the line, and try to win a bigger amount with high wager. Preferably, the gambler should give access of his money to an accountant or account manager. Who decides how he spends his money, and how the money is used for other activities, including gambling if he's not yet ready to stop gambling.

Greed is repeated because the player don't easily control the urge of winning big. Gamblers want to live a large lifestyle, going for vacations and living exotic life with their winnings. Those fantasies have clouded the consciousness of the gambler and he's determined to achieve the goal of gambling and winning huge amount of money. Hence, such players are expected to keep on trying same mistake over and over until he gets tired or learns from his mistake. Being comfortable, is mostly with the gamblers who has won some amount of money and thinks things would continue to be the same. They end up wagering all the funds without applying any precautions regarding money management and other related skills needed to control our money from being overspent in gambling. Why they repeat this is self-accustomed from one player to another, which matters, need to be addressed for the safety of gamblers, not to get problematic in the process.

Gambling though is a risky game that the chances of winning and losing is in equilibrium but however in other for one to have a possibility of winning, it requires a steady income.

Having a steady and regular income is very important as a gambler because it would enable you to scrap out money you should use for gambling, feeding, taking care of yourself and family and other miscellaneous.
Yeah you are right having a regular source of income is actually the best thing in gambling because you cannot be easily affected if you lose any gambling because you have other source that can cover for it but that doesn't mean someone should gamble aggressively because even if having a very good source of income there are people who will still gamble with everything they have including there property because I have actually seen a gambler who is working with a very reasonable salary but do to his gambling attitude the salary is not longer enough for him and sometimes before he will receive a month salary he had already borrowed so many money all in the name of gambling and when he receive his salary is no longer enough for him and his family because of aggressive gambling, so perhaps having other source of income when gambling can only work for people who are very responsible in times of there gambling attitude and not for those who are addicted on gambling.

In addition, gambling with extra source of income can be beneficial to the gambler, but his productivity could be affected. As a worker in an establishment, being productive in one's place of work is crucial in advancing the level of the staff. Hence if he's into gambling and begin to struggle with his salary and money management, it can affect his work productivity, which can be detrimental to his career. I've read of people who gamble in their place of work, and others who find it hard to control their gambling habit, to an extent of complaining to their wife for help. Generally, gamblers need to possess the self-control skills, regardless of whether they earn huge salaries or not. Because the player is expected to spend more money, he has a high paycheck. Contentment is also a good thing for everyone who participate in gambling activities. Without being grateful of what's at hand, the player will go for more, thereby risking his income. The advantage is that, he'll hardly run out of money completely, like other gamblers who don't have a steady source of income.

Gamblers who find it difficult to stop gambling when they've accumulated a huge amount of money in losses, may not enjoy their everyday gambling. Compared to players who play every day and are able to stop when things begin to go wrong and the losses increasing. Gambling every day is a choice and not all gamblers know the ways of dealing with it. They are gamblers who play each day hoping to increase their chances of winning, but it's quite wrong a method for a gambler to think playing consistently helps in winning. Fine, if the wins begin to creep in, will the gambler be able to stop immediately, if he's not able to take break in gambling. When a person wagers money all the time, it gets used to him, that he'll easily wager his wins when one appears to him.

Because gamblers who often experience losses will think about how the losses they experience will be recovered quickly, by gambling every day to chase losses and recover their losses. but in reality he has made a big mistake, because he only sees the side of chasing defeat which will actually increase the many losses he will experience, if he loses and thinks about stopping immediately and if he wants to return to gambling in a stable condition then it is very likely that he will enjoy the game the gambling that he plays so that he doesn't suffer too many losses.

There are still a lot of gamblers who, when they win, still can't stop and sometimes even increase the number of bets and instead win again and get a lot of money, in fact many of these thoughts still occur because they don't have themselves. control from the start. right so that greed will easily influence the mind so that it is not in the right situation.

Greed contributes to the reason gamblers go for the lost money. A lot of gamblers are aware of the low rate of winning chances in gambling. But due to greed which controls their emotions and hinders the gambler from seeing the real purpose of gambling they go ahead to gamble every day. Those who wish to neglect the usage of gambling for leisure, tend to be the gamblers who chase losses. However, it ends up really tough for the gambler, because he'd be losing out lots of money. Which affects the emotional state of the gambler. And how he feels about his losses. No one is comfortable with losing out on a huge sum of money consistently. Those thoughts end up eating deep into the brain of the gambler, and he'll be confused on the type of decision he's made for himself. Such things may not allow the gambler to recognize that such habit has been in him for so long that avoiding it would be a difficult task. In most cases of gamblers who spend their daily free time gambling, they end up developing it as a habit, and hardly stop it. The behavior grows to a stage where there begin to tell close friends about the need to gamble every day. A person who is not capable of controlling such habit, shouldn't indulge in such a gambling routine.

When both entities, a responsible gambler and a non-gambler, stays in same apartment with an addicted gambler. The responsible gambler will figure out earlier than the non-gambler, that the person is addicted to gambling. From his activities and behavior, an experienced gambler can detect that it's addiction. However, if the person is not staying with the addicted gamble in same house, it'll be difficult to unveil the truth from him. Due to their pretense, when asked, that all is right and cool with them, to escape critics. The issue could be that the person can't conclude that a person is addicted to gambling, if he's not being told by the addicted person. But the experience gambling staying close to the gambler, will know that there is something wrong somewhere in the life of the gambler. Then he can engage in a serious conversation with the player. He could open to him, since there are both in the same niche. Humans tend to share genuine information with their cohorts because they engage in same activity.
It's obvious to a responsible gambler that addiction is erratic, desperate, and always wants "just one more bet". eing in the same activity doesn't give you the wisdom or right to intervene. Not just witnessing, but understanding. Addiction is the true issue. A plea for help, not a badge of honor. The responsible gambler has a duty. Not calling out, but reaching out. Saying "Hey, I've noticed this; let's talk about it." Support, not expose. Gambling healthily? Crossing that thin boundary hurts the individual and ripples out

No, support doesn't enable. Guidance, balance, and control. We're all in this together, but don't pretend we're playing similar games. Some are nearer the brink. Accepting that is the first step to responsible gambling

A responsible gambler will easily change a compulsive gambler, because they participate in similar activities, gambling. The conversation between these two is a strong factor in changing or relieving a compulsive gambler. The problem people face with compulsive gamblers is that they don't know the right words to use while conversing with them. As you said, support and guidance will help the gambler to escape gambling compulsively. Which when in a situation where his therapist knows nothing about gambling, the healing process will be as slow as a snail. When we understand their troubles, and talk to them about it, that alone, will change the thoughts of the addicted person, to accept he's doing something wrong. Because someone who is also a gambler is letting him know that he'd have to adjust his gambling lifestyle.
Depends into someones personality and mindset on which we know that not all people would really be that similar on how they do think and how they do see on a particular thing on which actions
and personal views would really be that different. In the case that you do reach into a point that you are already that becoming professional then it cant be denied that it did really comes into a point that you have been an addict ones with gambling. It did really just turn out that you do able to recover and made out those realizations on which you did make out adjustments then you have
been able to make yourself that having a right way on dealing up with gambling but of course its not really that simple on dealing up with this kind of problem on which you would be
always having those tough situations on which not all would really be able to get out.

On the journey to professional gambling, the player must have gone through thicks and thins in the industry. Which will make him more informed and cautious about gambling and ways of dealing with addiction. Even if he, the gambler, has never been addicted, with the experience in his palms he'd be able to help an addicted person in his midst. Take ourselves for instance, we are not addicts, but from the information and research we've garnered about gambling addiction, we won't be mute on speaking to an addict about his addictions. It's a difficult task indeed, and takes up the time of the professional, but given time he'd be happy for rendering out help to the addicted fellow or friend. However, it depends on the attitude of the gambler, as you said, not everyone would be cured on this basis. But it's more like a first aid to the addicted gambler, not to go pass his normal level of addiction to a more serious and severe stage. If he proves too persistent about staying glued to gambling, he could be referred to a therapist, to handle the trouble.
