921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many people become binance futures full time traders as job on: July 18, 2022, 09:18:24 PM
Some are just joining the hype with a thinking about making money easily which is not going to happen in trading, we all know that success in trading will require analysis and if those traders failed to do this, most probably they will ended up broke as well. Binance is a good platform, you can have your tradings here but still no guarantee for profit, exchanges is just a platform and your trading strategy will be your main weapon here.
Unfortunately, newbies come into the crypto world thinking that they could make a big change, but in reality they are not doing anything radical. They see some people on social media that turned a few thousand dollars into millions of dollars, and they think crypto world is a free money making place.

You will see them shilling some idiotic small time 2 million dollar or less trading volume tokens during the bull run, and thinking that project will be in top 10 and make them rich. They are so inexperienced that when there is a token with 0.00001 dollar or so price, they keep saying "if it is only 10 cents, we all will be rich" and not realize that would make the market cap 1 trillion dollars and that's impossible for that project.
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: July 18, 2022, 07:48:20 PM
Are these things similar to what we had in the 1990s and 2000s before Crypto - like buying "William Hill" or "Ladbrokes" stocks? Is it more or less the same thing just in Crypto?

And why OWL keeps on going up in price? Honestly their site doesn't seem to be very unique or impressive - anyone has a credible explanation who is behind the price rise of that OWL token?!
I always thought that it's about how the casino would approach this. I mean think about it, if you build a casino and then people end up with buying the shares of it, then it would be a bit of a trouble. I mean think about it, if the ownership is with the people, and not with the team.

So in that case, people who are holding the income, telling the team to spend their limited amount that they used to sell the tokens, and use that for marketing to make a lot more money. I do not get it that much, what's the point of it for the team? That's why I believe we shouldn't really be doing anything crazy and expecting them to do something like that.

I wagered more than $100k and I received monthly bonus around $140 and I'm platinum 3 user.
I played mostly in 3rd party games and mostly with the buy bonus feature.
Not really how many percent I got for the VIP progress with that wagered amount as I do not really care about it.
As for now I'm at 62%, 38% remaining to reach Platinum 4 but for sure I wont chase it.
If I have to chase it, means that I have to wager 38%*$1,500,000 = $570,000 which is still a huge number for me to wager.
The monthly is not supposed to be your cashback or your rakeback or something, it’s something everyone gets and it's normal that people who wager 100k+ to get not a lot, you can't expect 1k back, that’s literally 1% house edge amount anyway. Plus, if you wagered 100k, then 570k should be doable in 6-8 months and that should be good enough to get you to another VIP level.

What you get based on your VIP level is not just a bigger cash back, it's literally thousand other things. In the end it’s a good thing and I suppose it could be done a lot better. I hope that we should be seeing a lot more of it and we could end up making a great big progress as a whole, I want to upgrade to a new VIP level as well.

At a press conference, Milan said that Ibra's contract would be extended but he is likely to play in January 2023. even though ibra is 40 years old, last season his performance was really amazing

Ibra's passion and sharpness in scoring goals will be difficult to fade, this is what I believe makes Milan continue to believe in Ibra even though there are many other young strikers out there who dream of joining Milan
I am not so sure, if you look at his minutes and goals scored, he is not "that" great, for that kind of money they could have found some good players for sure. They are also Milan, which means that they are not really lacking in players who would love to play for them, of course there would be some people who would play for them.

This is why I highly suggest everyone to just look at the current situation as Ibra getting a bit more money than he deserves and that's the problem. Think about it, if he got like 50% discount, then that same money could have been used as a deal to get a younger player with some potential, his salary is just way too much and doesn't look like a possibility to me.
925  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID had widened the gap between world's richest and poorest on: July 17, 2022, 08:51:23 PM
The entire tourism industry has been affected by the pandemic. International air travel and land travel have been markedly reduced. Travel agencies suffered significant losses and many stopped their work during this time. Today's crisis will kill many food manufacturers and especially food manufacturers. So covid it was not the scariest adventure in our life, unfortunately.
And this collapse of the tourism industry and the effect on food production is partly responsible for Sri Lanka's dramatic freefall. Only time will tell if other countries would follow this path.
All cruise ships all around the world is getting a bit of a trouble. I mean you can't just expect the world to get back to where it was suddenly. It's going to be harder for slow income places. Cruise ones have like a few cruise each year, mainly in one special season (summer) and then they make that money back, but they spend so much and gain so much all together.

When you cancel even one of that, you are going to be in big big trouble and finding money again to try to do it again is harder. Some tried it 3-4 times and failed because of pandemic period, which means that we are not going to end up seeing them recover easily, or maybe not even recover.
926  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: July 17, 2022, 07:41:39 PM
They probably have different formula. Same amount of wager got 70% different bonus coupons today.. 😑
My stats is not really bad this month since I did not play a lot (mostly with weekly bonus only and 1-2 small deposits). I believe I have not wagered more than $10k during the last 30 days before monthly bonus. For this month I received $57 which is actually similar amount to what I usually got in the previous months. No big change for me in both my wagering activity and overall statistic during the last few months (at least from May). I have no idea about the formula but I think the new formula is about what is posted by ryzaadit before where we get more amount if we lose more.
The "exact" formula of what and how they pay is not known and will probably never be known. Don't get me wrong it's not a big deal, because if you gamble just for this, you are already doing something wrong, if you are not gambling for this, then whatever you get is a benefit.

There are some people who love to maximize their profit as much as possible, and if you give the exact formula to everyone, there will be plenty of people who will try to maximize their profits and that's not doable and understandable. However, what we could do instead is to get to a point where we just ignore all the additions and rewards and extras, and instead just end up with regular gambling, which happens to get some stuff.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hardware wallet demand increases in 2022 bear market as exchange scramble on: July 17, 2022, 06:28:14 PM
I believe that if your assets worth is at least 10-15x than the cheapest mass produce hardware wallet (Trezor/Ledger) it would be better to buy and have one for the sake of peace of mind. I'm not saying that paper wallet such as electrum is bad actually it's good! but hardware wallet provide way better security.
Yes, I've considered buying it too. But for the time being I still feel comfortable and safe to store it in electrum which I have dedicated as my long term storage wallet.

For the current price I think Trezor is still quite affordable for me, around $100-$300 in various online stores. So it might be good to have it soon after this. Security is a major issue to consider for anyone looking to invest in the long term, so as you said above, it will make bitcoin or crypto owners feel safe.
Honestly? I just did an exchange approach and I am fine with it. I know it sounds risky and all, but doesn't feel that bad to me. Think about it this way, I put all my money on Binance and it is a great place and if any person would hack into binance, they would be more than powerful enough to hack into mine as well.

Yes, I am leaving my future up to Binance, which is someone else and not me, but that is still fine by me and I do not feel like that's a trouble. All in all I believe that we shouldn't be shocked about what we are doing, just focus on what you feel the most comfortable with and you will get it done. I felt most comfortable with Binance, over all software and hardware wallets.
928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: July 16, 2022, 09:03:01 PM
I think Fenerbahce is doing great so far and it won't be easy for Trabzonspor to repeat the success of last year.Well they did a great job last year and won the title after some years from their last title so they made the fans extremely happy.I am waiting to see their performance in the Champions League as that is also an indicator if the team is in top form.I would make a comparison with Sheriff Tiraspol of last year or the year before that in Champions League when they showed great performance in Champions and they are also undisputed Champions in their local league.

If Trabzonspor shows good form in Champions it means they will come motivated also in the Turkish Superleague and will win a lot of games fighting again for the title.
Trabzon made some money off last year, and they are spending that to get better, which is always a good proof that they want to repeat what happened last year. Some teams sell half of the roster when they become a champion, in order to profit from the situation, Trabzon went the other way hence why I think they should be fine. However, Fener added even more players that should be great for them.

It's going to be a troubling thing for a while, they need to get used to each other first. Based on what I have seen from Galatasaray today though? One thing is for sure, they are not going to be the champions, it would be a miracle if they even get to any European competition levels, so top 6-7 is out for them again I believe.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 16, 2022, 11:33:38 AM
I think Napoli looking for business and profitable with Koulibaly transfer to Chelsea reach above 40 million euro, not bad price for Koulibaly still on the top level as great defwnder for Napoli and have been 31 year old, keep extended Koulibaly one seaaon later I think have drop values and Napoli can't sell Koulibaly above 40 milion euro. Although very sad because Napoli not easy looking for replacement position leaving by Koulibaly actually he has been important olayer for Napoli last several season. Koulibally will begin new challenge with Chelsea and looks will get regular defender poaition depending how keep consistent performance or not.
I agree that they have the money for it, but there is a new wave in football where teams are trying to make a profit. I have zero clue why it's like that, but the greatest ever in history example is Dortmund for example. They sold Sancho last year and made a great chunk of money, but they didn't spend it at all, they might have spent it somewhere else but they didn't bought players at those prices at least.

This year they sold Haaland that much and they made a ton of money again, and yet not buying any players again. They may end up selling that midfielder English kid to a lot of money too, forgot his name, but not buying anyone. Napoli may do something similar, gain a ton of money, but spend it in operational stuff or debt repayment or something like that, and not players.
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 16, 2022, 06:59:26 AM
The long awaited German big 10 and player, Serge Gnabry have finally extended his contract with the Bundesliga giant once again, until June 2026. Moreover he has a strong link up move to EPL club, Chelsea. The Blues were really interested in him but he screwed things up as he probably wanted to continue playing for Bayern Munich. Gnabry still included in Julian Nagelsmann projects for next season and Nagelsmann bringing in new sharp and young Players to the team, he'd up to something as he wants to recruit his squad with young talented players. It's basically a good one for him.
That is not really a shock, it was expected. In the end we are talking about Bayern here and he is one of the important players of that club. Which means that it would be very understandable for him to do something like this.

Of course he would love to play for another team that would pay a ton of money to them, but in the end we are talking about something that is a bit less risky for the team and him if he stayed and that's how they went ahead. Playing in City or Liverpool or Madrid could have paid Gnarby a lot more, he could have been offered x2 money in those clubs, but would you rather have that for like 2 years and not be wanted after that, or would you rather get paid like this for another 5 or more years?
931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 16, 2022, 06:30:50 AM
Paris Saint-Germain is a club that has invested a lot of cash to build a competitive squad in Europe. Even though Les Parisiens finished second in the 2019–2020 Champions League, they only made it as far as the semifinals the following year.
Paris Saint-Germain performance declined in the 2021/2022 Champions League when Lionel Messi was there, and PSG even lost in the round of 16 after being eliminated by Real Madrid.
Paris Saint-Germain actually had a chance to go further in the Champions League last season. However, Gianluigi Donnarumma's mistake against Real Madrid was a disaster.

Why the French giants haven't won the Champions League, despite having a star-studded team.
I would guess that the biggest reason why they fail is that they are not used to the tournament style all that much. They are amazing in the league because even if they lose a few, they win more than enough. But, when it's tournament style, you can't make a comeback with a small time left if you are not used to it.

Plus, Real keeps playing against decent opponents, and there are some other teams like that too, but PSG keeps playing against teams that are much worse than them, which makes them a bit more lazy when playing because they are used to winning anyway. Same goes for City as well, so many years of dominating EPL and yet they fail in UCL so far.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To build your Professionalism on casino on: July 15, 2022, 05:49:46 PM
One should never try to be a professional gambler in the first place. Many people gamble, some are good at it, some are bad, but even out of those good ones maybe one in a hundred is a real pro. This is not about gambling for fun and not gambling with all your money. This is the opposite of what real pros do. They often risk a lot, gamble for hours every day, it's a life for them. You should never try to be like that. It can destroy your life!

We don't need OP's rules. They're too simple and too childish for my taste.
Only thing you should get "professional" about gambling is to having fun and stopping when you are done. There are way too many people who make a big deal out of gambling and then turn that into a professional "job" type of thing, like somehow make their incomes from it and that can't happen.

We have to agree that gambling is a null thing that will always cause you to stop profiting and you will always have a low bankroll at the end of it. Then why would you do that? Well, our life is filled with things we spend money on and have fun, so why not do it with gambling as well, you could always spend money on other things to have fun, and gambling is also one of them.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 15, 2022, 02:10:58 PM
Shots fired:

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/34242899/phoenix-suns-deandre-ayton-signing-4-year-131m-maximum-contract-offer-sheet-indiana-pacers-agents-say

Pacers sign him to a max sheet.  Now Suns hands are tied.  Let him him go for nothing or sign him to max and not be able to use him in a Durant deal.  2 days tick tock Phoenix.  Should be interesting to see what happens here.
I would say that Suns were already not interested in signing him anyway. I think it is going to be a good trading piece for Pacers. Let’s face it, some teams do not have a chance to be champions, no matter what happens they do not have that championship fabric. I do not expect Orlando, Cavs (again anyway), Suns, OKC etc etc to be champions.

There are like 15 of these teams and they are not championship material season in and season out, and they do this for over a decade, some for over two decades. This isn't just "not being champions" thing, they haven't been contenders for that long. This is why Pacers getting Ayton will not be a big deal neither, but they could trade him for some stuff at least.
934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 15, 2022, 06:37:11 AM
Barcelona is beating the odds and building a strong and better team, we can see Xavi has plans for the team and for the coming season. I believe Barcelona will do better and will be a tougher opponent in the La Liga next season and even be title contenders. The El Classico will be a joy to watch again because both Barcelona and Real Madrid are stronger and better and will put up a very competitive game again.
I do agree that Xavi definitely made Barcelona much better. Just remember the el classico they had with Xavi as manager last year, they won against Real Madrid 4-0 and not like Madrid played youth or bench players, they were with their best team and Barcelona still managed to beat them very easily.

This shows that if they let Xavi get at least some people that he likes, then it would be impossible to stop their improvement. They are going to end up with something special for sure. This is why I believe that we should not be looking for them getting any worse, they will fight to win the title this year, will be hard but not impossible for them. If they do that, paying the debt back will be easier.
935  Economy / Speculation / Re: “When” Will Bitcoin Price Break $69k All Time High? on: July 14, 2022, 03:09:05 PM
We are in a bear market, that is a fact, and the numbers today are not lying. From all time high of $69k and then around $20k'ish, doesn't look good and obviously, the market has been shaken already, weak hands have sold, while the whales keeps accumulating.

That will be the state of the market and there is no coming back to a all time high unfortunately. We have to suffer the bearish trend, but we should remain in the market because this will go overtime. Let's look forward to 2024-25, this is the time that we might see a new all time high. Yes, I know still very far, so patience is the key here.
This is unavoidable because the bear market continues to haunt in recent months many weak hands are not strong so they think to get off their investment path.
The bearish trend will still continue I can't guess how long this will end but that's what we enjoy now, whether we will survive with bitcoin or with stable coins it is indeed a difficult choice situation for those who are weak.
I'm sure we will see ATH again after the halving in the next few years, maybe it will be more than the ATH before it if you ask when of course you have to wait longer.
Weak hands are not the type of people who would make any kind of profit during the bear months, they will make a good amount of profit during bull though, because people who are newbies and do the things they shouldn't do, take higher risks, and some of them do lose a lot of money to scams, but some of them get super lucky.

Someone who knows how to invest, will do the right and thinkable thing and will not take that silly risk, and will earn a good chunk of money, but not like the newbie who made a mistake. I know people who bought the wrong token and made profit more than I did, that’s how newbies could get lucky, of course many lose money while doing that as well.
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 13, 2022, 07:45:41 PM
not only that, let's remember how Juventus plays
likely 3-5-2 formation
with this kind of formations you have a lot of pressure on defense and on the wings, which literally have to run up and down quickly
you have at least 5 players under pressure of which 2 (the wings) really have to break their backs
Juventus have already got two new players brought in from Manchester United and Paris saint Germain, Paul Pogba and Angel Di Maria. Now Juventus have to find a new defender left by Giorgio Chiellini and in my opinion, Juventus is less effective with the 3-5-2 formation often used by Massimiliano Allegri. The three defenders used on average are old such as Bonucci and Chiellini, of course, the energy they have is reduced in dealing with opponents who are much younger.
They might be in even bigger trouble. Chiellini left, but De ligt has some interested parties as well. If he leaves as that that is 2 giant wholes in the defense that they need to fill. Di Maria is certainly not a bad transfer and Pogba will be a big deal as well, those are good, even great.

But, if they can't handle the defense, that is not going to matter all that much. These people are some of the greatest defenders they had in a while, and both leaving on the same season would create some trouble for them. Maybe De ligt would stay, it is not guaranteed but at the same time it is not going to be a big deal if he leaves and brings in a lot of money so they could get 2 others.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 13, 2022, 07:21:27 PM
I think not an internal problem in PSG right now after have new manager, but if really true what problem faced by PSG with internal problem give bad impact for team. All proboem with PSG beginning when extending Mbappe contract and I think he has everything what he want in PSG right now, from maanger controlling until window transfer player activities. But this just rumor only or really true what happen right now in PSG internal team, if try to make Neymar left PSG I think bad choose did by PSG manager because Neymar really most talented player.
The problem is that the manager they got is not one that is famously known, or ever won any UCL before. Which means that the players may not care about what he has to say. Sure they will act as if they care for a while and if the results come from what he says then they will care even more, but if they do not suddenly become much better team then they won't care about it and they will start to ignore him as well.

This is the problem with hiring a manager and saving some money from it. They should have spent as high as possible, because having a great manager is as important as having Mbappe. If you ask me would you rather be me as manager and mbappe on the team, or Zidane as manager without Mbappe, I say zidane would be a better choice.
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 13, 2022, 06:03:03 PM
I don't believe some teams wanted Westbrook when he doesn't have his skill anymore the Lakers already proved that and he also plays with Lebron and nothing has happened. Maybe Irving can add some fuel with the Lakers and maybe he can get back to play to the time when they were winning championships with Lebron. But this time he should really consider getting out from the Nets because this team is like a curse because no matter who they will acquire, they just don't get anything from them, and the far as they go is only going to the playoffs and that's all.
I think it was a bad decision to make him play with another player who gets inside, and a 6'8 280 pounds version of westbrook as well. This is why we should also see him play with shooters. For example him in Pacers wouldn't be a bad idea, they have Hield and they have some other players and that could work out well for the team.

Of course the problem is that, if you are willing to get westbrook, then you should be hoping to get something else. The biggest trouble with the Irving deal is that if you give Westbrook, and even if you give some picks which Lakers barely have any, you are sending him to Durant, which we all know they both dislike each other and that would be a problem.
939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Alt coins are About to pump again! on: July 13, 2022, 01:38:54 PM
if you are thinking positively, nothing is hard and we can passionately extend our patience if needed.
Those who say "I can't hold" or "It was hard" - these people are weak and much preferred for short-term investment which gonna be difficult like in the current situation.
I agree that people who can't hold made a mistake, I wouldn't say they are weak or anything, because there could be a valid reason to sell, the problem is them buying and not selling. If you are in a financial situation where you can't hold something for years, then you shouldn't get in to begin with. That’s why the selling part is not wrong, they may need it and I understand it, I had the same thing as well, so I understand selling part.

I shouldn't have bought though, and they shouldn't neither. Those people who get into bitcoin with their last bullet with the hopes that it would finally give them financial freedom, and get out when they realize it won't happen that quickly, do not understand what bitcoin is all about.
940  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullish VS Bearish on: July 12, 2022, 06:38:26 PM
These so called crypto analyst that you're referring to is either doesn't want to see Bitcoin's success or helping to pull down the price a little further and exaggerate the current bearish run so they can buy more cheaper than $19k or $15k.
Most bearish speculations were just around the range or $15k-$20k.
The more the people are speculating with such bearishness, the more chances Btc won't be hitting those numbers as it tends to recover when people are buying everytime Btc dips.
There are some who do not want to see bitcoin do great, because they have lived all their life from getting money out of each trade regular people make. If bitcoin does better, then binance will profit, or coinbase would, but not wall street. So, there are some "experts" who hope that bitcoin would go down, so that they would make some profit based on what trades people make on stock markets so they could get a cut out of it.

Stock traders will never enjoy crypto, maybe individually but not on a business scale. Or they will find a way to make money from it themselves, and that's how they are going to hope they could profit from bitcoin and in that case they will support it.
