It is a good time to bet on Sebastian in Monza. I reckon that Ferrari will do something more and try to win harder for their home race. They also cannot have Lewis get the lead in the championship.

My prediction, Sebastian will take FP3 and pole position in qualifying.

Today it rains a lot at Monza and surely the pole position will be wet, in the fp3 all pilots are using full wet.
Rain can make the pole position unpredictable

Uefa put Psg transfers, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, under investigation for financial fair play.

UEFA put Paris Saint-Germain’s finances under formal investigation Friday, citing “recent transfer activity” that triggered concern the club was again flouting rules designed to control excessive spending by top European clubs.

PSG said it was “surprised by this approach” from UEFA, less than 24 hours after the transfer window closed in France.“The club is very confident in its ability to demonstrate that it will fully comply with Financial Fair Play rules for the fiscal year 2017-2018,” PSG said.

I think it is necessary to introduce precise rules (for example, salary cup as in NBA) to prevent some teams from overcoming rules.

Other surprises at the US Open! At the bottom of the draw, eliminated the favorites Cilic and Isner!
Then one of these 8: Pouille, Schwartzman, Carreno-Busta, Shapovalov, Lorenzi, Anderson, Querrey, M.Zverev will go,surprisingly, to the final!

930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Games Prediction Thread on: September 01, 2017, 01:21:44 PM
Another flop for Argentina ( drew 0-0 against Uruguay), who is likely to not qualify for the next world cup. Argentina in 15 games played has scored only 15 goals (average of 1 goal per game), only Bolivia scored fewer goals.
Argentina with its offensive potential (Messi, Aguero, Di Maria, Icardi, Higuain, Dybala) is really weird that all these problems in making goals!

Fortunately the last 3 games are quite easy (Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador) but must win at least 2 games to qualify.

Valentino Rossi has broken his tibia and fibula in an enduro training accident in Italy...

Most likely his season is over, surely he is out of the games for the victory of the world championship

That's unfortunate... he has been trying so hard for the past few years trying to get his last championship, but he always ends up having bad luck.

I think he should just retire. Why keep risking your life at such at late age? It's a good time to sit back and enjoy your millions, but then again, I guess that's why they are so good, they really like what they do for a living, unlike most people.

Is confirmed, he will be off the races for at least 30/40 days.

He will surely miss 2 Gp: Misano (10 September) and Aragon (24 September). He could return to Motegi in Japan (October 15)
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA eurobasket 2017 on: September 01, 2017, 10:03:07 AM
This was first day of championship and we have already had two great matches: Lithuania-Georgia and France-Finland. Both ended up with loses by favorites. This showed us how unprectictable and equivalent this championship will be.

Never bet on favourites when it comes into basketball, especially FIBA or other tournament. I always bet handicap on the underdogs, because there always some shit happened and unexpected. I also never bet handicap on the favourites team, i prefer bet on underdogs or over/under.

Yes, a lot of surprises especially in FIBA. I haven't bet though, but I will be putting money on Finland because they have a backing of the home crowd which is really help a lot of teams especially if they are the underdog.

Really nice game, it went to overtime, but my concern is that despite the strong performance of Evan Fournier, they still lost. Fournier often was caught forcing things too much. That was his downfall with the Magic last year. He would drive in too deep or drive sort of wildly into the paint without having many outlets to score. Fournier also struggled defensively. There was a series of plays in the third quarter where Finland went to forward Shawn Huff in the post. Huff abused Fournier on the block for several baskets in a row, helping keep Finland in the game when it looked like France was going to pull away.

It's amazing, the two great favorites France (the victory of Finland was quoted  at@6 ) and Lithuania (the victory of Georgia was quoted at@3.20 ) lost yesterday!
with so many missing players, this tournament will be very balanced and with so many surprises.

For me the 4 favorites for each group are:

Group A: Greece, France,Slovenia,Finland
Group B: Germany,Lituania, Italy,Georgia
Group C: Spain, Croatia, Czech Republic, Montenegro
Group D: Serbia, Turkey, Russia, Latvia.

Federer has won another hard game in the fifth set!
he is not at the top of the shape but is positive he is struggling with all his energies in each game.
He is a shark and every game he wins is getting closer to his prey (1st in the ranking atp).
So, if he comes to the second week of the tournament he can return first in the ranking Atp.

Looking at the draw, Cilic seems to have a very easy path to the final.

Manchester United  @3.00
Chelsea                     @6.00
Liverpool                 @12.00

Chelsea worsened its odds (from 4 to 6) but after losing against Burnley,  won 2 hard matches against Tottenham and Everton.

Liverpool slightly improved its odds overcoming Arsenal and Totthenam but is far from the top 3

Bad start of the season for Tottenham worsening its odds

Disastrous start of the season for Arsenal that seems already out of the games. Its odds from 12 to 25!

Who will win the Ligue 1? (Updated 31 August)

Psg           @1.10

Marseille @30.00
Lyon         @30.00

Standing Ligue 1 after 4 of 38 matches:

Psg and Monaco at 12 points, but Psg is clearly the big favorite after the pharaonic market (Neymar + Mbappè). the quote now is really very low!

The odds of the other teams are getting worse:
Monaco (from 5.50 to 9), Marseille (from 15 to 30), Lyon( from 20 to 30).
