921  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do so many people wait for "bitcoin to crash" to buy some, and miss out on: August 12, 2017, 09:53:34 PM

The price continuing to go up does not mean that its value is correct.  Your friend should not buy after the price goes up extremely dramatically for a long time - that would be extremely stupid investment advice.

Waiting for a bear market is quite reasonable.  What your friend got wrong is thinking that it was overvalued when it was early enough in the bull market for it to be an OK buy.

This.  There will be a correction soon.  I'm not saying the price will be cut in half or anything, but in just the last month it's doubled in price from $2000 to nearly $4000, and half of that occurred in the last week.  That steep a climb will NOT last, and it's most likely because of the whole SegWit thing being successful.

I think the increase in price has started recently and it will continue and the correction will not occur for now. Maybe there will be a correction after 5000 dollar. The effect of Segwit in bitcoin price will be greater than this.
I also think so. Haven't you noticed some bitcoin miners are not cooperating in the case of bitcoin's development after a couple of week of the announcement? That it will fade out. But then came up the bcc issue. It seems that they're not trusting a lot. Maybe this has something to do with the overpricing and some investors are trying to take a rebound so that they could get more profit.
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: August 11, 2017, 11:55:20 AM
I think that Altcoins really do have a future, I mean sure Bitcoin will always be at the top, but many projects are also under Altcoins. I myself also have high hopes for ETH given that it grew so fast, and many projects are under ETH. I also think that altcoins really have a use, you could buy altcoins and sell it for a bigger profit, I guess. But we can never tell the future, we as a community will need to adjust accordingly on what's going to happen.
Yeah right. Why not give a chance for altcoins to have a future. Every big coins starts from smaller ones. No wonder someday if altcoin has a future. Could somebody know how to trade altcoins here? How is it so far? Altcoin and btc are just related. So keep pumping. Many people will continue to support you both.
923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you agree that Bitcoin is nearly to be just like another business? on: August 11, 2017, 11:21:18 AM
The same business but with a new strategy in bitcoin world, with your investment can generate more profit.
Bitcoin is not just a business but it's a kind of saving for future. It is a safe and Secure business a lot of people are earning through Bitcoin now a days. People invest and get profit. It is as simple as it looks like no worries no loss no extra payment. Many people select Bitcoin for trading. They trade and get profit and then invest more money in Bitcoin for future as well. So this amazing change in our life has changed our Lifestyle so much and we are taking good benefit from it.
Bitcoin is not a business. Bitcoin is a currency. Business is trade of that currency on the exchange. But it seems to me that this approach to bitcoin distorts the meaning of the emergence of bitcoin. If the use of bitcoin will not change the fact he can turn into a bubble.
You're right. I don't really believe right away not unless it will change its direction of business. We expect a lot from bitcoin's strategy from trading, exchanging currency and a lot more. It's uniqueness help many of us to survive and to live that we're making most of the time about bitcoin. It's already part of our daily living. So whether others control btc to be the same as another business, maybe btc won't be good because people might think it's just the same method. Therefore, don't be the same with other business.
924  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking To Start A Small Business With Bitcoin on: August 11, 2017, 10:42:16 AM
Putting up a business is not that easy to do. You have to make a plan and think of it thoroughly. Since it invloves bitcoin, it would be hard for you to earn a lot because not all costumers uses bitcoin. There is a big risk in using bitcoin because didn't know what could possibly happen.
Of course planning a business is one of the most important thing to do. In every business we make there's always a risk so better accept realities. Speaking of bitcoin as a source of business ,for sure it would be hard if we directly use bitcoins as the payment. There should be classification of payment whether in cash or btc alone. So that both are profitable in a certain business someday.
925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the ticket to heaven ... on: August 10, 2017, 04:19:27 AM
nothing is impossible maan.... this is a new generation, with the money we can do anythings. we can do criminality or somethings for justice.
"Bitcoin can drive us to heaven? Are you kidding buddy?" Maybe some people assume like that but everything in the world is only tool.
The tools we choose, whether we use for good or evil. The star of evil only leads us into hell and vice versa.
Your choice is the path you choose, so please choose your own path!

being rich or millionaire doesnt make you fully happy or contented. Not all things can buy with your money such as affection and love. Someone said to me that "money is the root of all evil" and i think he is right, all people become greed when money is involved.
Not really in that situation. When we say ticket to heaven? No one knows that money or anything, you can go to heaven. What we should do is to use our money for good purposes in order to make ourselves productive in the sense that your life is meaningful for we only live once in a lifetime. Therefore, make use of bitcoin for something that is beneficial to yourself and to others who needed sincere help.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I move my BTC or not? on: August 10, 2017, 03:25:44 AM
The value of BTC is increasing  Grin Grin
It all depends on you if you keep on updating the value of btc then try to move but if you don't want just don't. There are ways to trade your btc since there are times when the value increases. If I were you I would move my bitcoin. I won't let time just passed by. I have to do something on that so it will become bigger.
927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: August 10, 2017, 02:57:46 AM
in the game of gambling I should limit myself so that I do not occur in the game of gambling addiction so if I win I just play until I get timed out or lose all I have by doing that I'm not able to win a lot every time I lose I don't lose a lot only a few coins I. Hence I never lost a lot in the game gambling
That is the good result of having a limitations you control your money almost all of the time .Limits will act as our baseline depending on our set goals to limit ourself and it not only benefits us in gambling ,since it is for overall mind skill that can we use in everyday life to live with limits.
yeah if you can manage to control yourself and if you can stick with one point of view since that inside your gambling activity this problem always occurs
self control against greediness and aggressiveness i think you are still okay if you can manage to quit every time that you already hit your limits.
Of course. I should limit myself because if I don't do that,I'll be wasting a lot of money and that leads me to nothing. I will end up for nothing. As much as possible I should discipline myself in gambling whenever I want to. It's just similar to other vices so it's a normal case. Only then your willingness tests you to be a better person despite judgments from other people.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Highest bitcoin profit you have ever received... on: August 09, 2017, 01:33:47 PM
Hi! As a newbie I am very enthusiastic in learning more about the crypto system. I have read a number of articles and a bunch of posts in this forum about the bitcoin phenomena (if some of you would agree). Since I have not yet started earning as a newbie, maybe some of you would be open as to what is the highest figure you have received in your bitcoin transaction. This would really motivate a lot of newbies in learning the potentials of bitcoin.. Thank you and God speed.  Smiley
Hello there! I've not yet gotten the biggest received bitcoin in my life since I tried this work I got almost 0.05 Bitcoin this is the biggest bitcoin I received but Im always hoping that there are some day for me to receive that big amount of bitcoin. So, Im trying my best and give all my efforts just to achieve and I really believe in that. So, may the God of blessings, Bless me a plenty of Bitcoin.
So far not much bitcoin I got recently because I'm starting up a savings account in order for me to put up a business. Since I've been studying for months already about some economic state. With that,it can help me more understand about the economy of my country and on how I can contribute to everyone. If given a chance maybe I can state a real value of btc I get next time.
929  Other / Archival / Re: Have you ever won a Jackpot? on: August 09, 2017, 01:00:59 PM
actually my highest achievement i could made 40x-50x from my money capital or even more but although i had experience win with big amount but during gamble i was never won the jackpot so probably in my entire life i would never win it because only the person with super luck could won the jackpot
I haven't ever won any jackpot in my whole entire life. If ever that would happen this year it will be the most remarkable to me since it will be the first time. I will wait for that to happen soon. If it happens to me I will share my prize to those who deserve help because life is not easy and it's a sort of thanksgiving that I truly exist on earth and I can make a difference using bitcoin.
930  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How sustainable is bitcoin? on: August 09, 2017, 11:26:36 AM
That is why we should keep on gathering bitcoin as much as we can now because that is the only way we can really predict the future. Everything in the future is very uncertainty unsustainable but from what we do today we can really predict and follow the future of bitcoin. Like fiat I do believe that when all bitcoin has been mining we can only be using what is in circulations.
Practically speaking yes it is a good idea to save btc as early as now but the question is how is everything work with that particular rate for it changes from time to time. Normally it fluctuates and pump for some reasons. Well, it is suitable not until everyone here quit promoting, quit investing btc or any relevant coins. If we are going to circulate it first must be change into real cash because we depend on cash. Basically, cash is the prior thing to use for generating something like business or a similar thing therefore it will be more sustainable.
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does Bitcoin looks like? on: August 09, 2017, 10:47:42 AM
I will support what kind of bitcoin looks like now, I think it looks like a physical bitcoin souvenir that you can see from various sites like amazon Which, that's what my prediction about bitcoin looks like.
I will also support what kind of bitcoin looks like and I think bitcoin is like a golden coin with a high price in the market. In addition to that, no one know what is real picture of bitcoin but some bitcoin users says that it' like a coin that has a logo of  "B" that means bitcoin. Lastly, I will still love and use bitcoin what ever it's look like.
I will also do the same. I think bitcoin is like a life saver for everybody because it saves us monetarily. Bitcoin is a source of income that can provide basic needs because in can change into a real cash. Using it through wallet transaction is the smartest way to send out money to families if needed urgently like it's an emergency matter.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash will be THE Bitcoin on: August 09, 2017, 10:10:29 AM
I don't think BCC will ever overcome BTC. I'm honest here, I don't understand much about bitcoin technical stuff, but from a market point of view, I don't really think things will ever change, and BTC will remain the most valuable coin, and other will just keep trying to gain some space, but will continue to be used just as pump and dump coins for extra profit.
I understand that many users would probably like that BCC would surpass BTC, probably because this would give them the chance to invest and get rich. A chance that they missed when they did not invest in BTC in it's early days.
What? Who says who? I notice that Bit cash are trying to replace bitcoin wherein fact it is only nothing not a bit from bitcoin's power. Why do others keep on insisting bit cash? I am not in favor of bcc though it came up later than btc but this will never take place btc's throne. Investors are just good at investing because they already have sources but take also a consideration for those smaller investors. You are not taking it fair. It is very important for those who wait patiently mainly because we aim to help other people's need especially for family matter. Therefore bcc won't ever take place btc.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BitcoinCash a joke? on: August 07, 2017, 02:28:29 PM
I wonder of "We the People", as in 40 billion $, will trust a 3 month old website and a lame copycat of the Bitcoin Core software.
To be fair, being a copycat is kind of a good thing. Their code is likely to be less buggy if they copy the tried and tested code and only modify small amounts of it themselves.

Anyway, I suppose we'll have to find out after August 1st who the market supports.  I agree that Bitcoin Cash doing to well is unlikely - kwukduck started a thread saying that it would do well, so now I'm quite convinced that it won't.

As many people said,  bitcoin cash is not a joke for me.  It is a real thing that can help many people as i can see of what it can do to one's live. And i witness what the great things can do when you have a bitcoin cash.
I don't think so. Bitcoin is bitcoin alone and no need for splitting. This is something untrusted to some people because they keep on adjusting with this kind of method. This isn't necessary to split because people are being used to bitcoin itself. The more splittings may come the more difficult to understand. So it's now becoming stressful eventhough others think this isn't a joke yeah it's not but just for the sake of investments don't make it complicated.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is only one Bitcoin! on: August 07, 2017, 01:49:24 PM
The scam coin that tried to steal our name and our reputation and the scammers behind this will soon find out what hubris and greed gets you.

Bitcoin Cash is about to die in a pool of its own blood and piss!

There have been only 16 blocks mined of this shit coin since the hard fork.

This is the real reason the price is so high. No one can move this 'bitcoin Cash" shit coin because its network is nearly frozen. All the major exchanges dealing in this scam coin require 20 confirmations. (and were on block 16!)

At the current rate it would take two days to move 'Bitcoin Cash' from a private wallet to an exchange to dump it.

The vast majority of Bitcoin Users HODLers* hold their Bitcoins in private wallets on on their own hardware.

I will continue to do everything I can to warn the community from buying into this blatant scam. You have all been taken over by greed!

Over the next 24 hours you will see this shit coin crash harder then any shit coin in the history of crypto.

Ether take or ignore this advice but you do so at your own risk!

No one should have the right to take our name and our reputation to bootstrap another version of bitcoin without overwhelming support from the community.  We should be outraged but no, we are celebrating 'free money!" What is wrong with you!? Snap out of it!

The Bitcoin name is being dragged thew the mud! It took us 8 years to build Bitcoins reputation, were is the outrage?

We can not allow this scam coin to continue to use our name they must be stopped! We must do everything we can to make it clear to everyone that this new network has absolutely no affiliation with the core developers and supporters of Bitcoin.

It will crash and burn and when it does the news/media won't make a distinction between "Bitcoin" and "Bitcoin Cash" this will have huge PR ramifications! That will be with us forever!

You risk the value of your real Bitcoins by supporting these bastards.

yes i agree with all of that.  Bitcoin is the only thing that can escape you from in financial problem. Soon, it will be the current currency in our world when it comes to the tradings because of what is happening now a days in virtual world.
Normally it is only one bitcoin in the universe. I agree that it can help us financially and I am one of the living proofs. But when it comes to currency in my country that is a long discussion with our president if he will allow it soon. He has different priorities but less in prioritizing the currency to dollars and the more about bitcoin. So if he agrees on this someday then this will be a big hit in my country and to my fellow bitcoiners.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: August 07, 2017, 01:28:37 PM
Do you gamble at land based casinos?
No, in my country, gambling or casino is not legalized yet so that I can't go to casino, I will be arrested. Furthermore, there is no casino in the place I am living, so that if I want to go to a casino to play, I can't. Sad

Well if it's like that in your area then you can't really do anything but settle for online casinos. Sometimes it's not whether you prefer online or real casinos but you have to abide by laws and restrictions. Fortunately for me, i grew up being able to experience going to a real casino and i can tell you, the experience is very different from doing it online
I don't go to land based casinos and I have never been there before and there's no such place I would go like that. If others are particular here in online casinos then you are just making yourself a bait because you know in online there are many ways a computer can trick you when you bet something. However, if it's just a trial and error way then that's fine but if it deals with money then that's already another story that could give you stress. I think real casino compare to online is quite different but real casino is more complicated because you can see the real reactions of people around you.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: August 07, 2017, 12:44:05 PM
If you can not research and decide for yourself you should not be buying any of them. You will not get good answers here asking this so do not bother.

Totally agree.
To structure things and find good ICOs among dozens that happen daily now, I started analyze their business models using same template: main innovation, token rights, features, why now, use-cases etc.
Here's the link if you wanna take a look:
https://medium.com/@StorifierCo

Please let me know your thoughts.
I haven't checked alt coins value yet. I haven't bought it also but I got some from my friends. I have a plan selling it just in the right time soon. If I buy will it make a big difference with the alt coins that I save? But then I'm making to a point that I can still get a profit which is higher or equivalent to bitcoin's value. Does it make sense? I hope it will pump more this month.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do i get free coins? on: August 07, 2017, 12:19:51 PM
You normally need at least a Jr. Member account then see the service announcement section of altcoins for signature bounties. Alternatively you can do translation bounties, or social media bounties but the reality is that each bounty has different rules so I would go check each bounty announcements bitcointalk thread.

Does it mean those who are newbie can't take part in bounty campaign?
I can get free coins through twitter,Facebook that is frok campaigns. And, also from a new wallet, they also have that when they have promos like when you buy a load there is a remittance. It is only small coin but at least you will try their promo. It such a nice thing that these campaigns in btc exist. Not only that but also the effect of individuals is somewhat satisfying.
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is not worth it, right? on: August 04, 2017, 04:34:20 AM
It's been clearly described by most of the users when gambling will be worth it. When a fruit is plucked from a tree it hurts the tree, but the same can be done in a soft manner without hurting the tree.  Similar is the gambling need to earn in a soft manner, if found not possible just leave it. Should not make others get hurt because of our activities.
This message is awesome i saw my self into this i don't mind the fun but yet the profit i get from playing gambling bring me more thrill i discipline my self just when i akready soubled my bankroll withdraw than to risk agian without assurance
Maybe. To some gamblers it's worth it. They bet some money because they think they can get profit out of the money they use. It can be doubled, tripled and so on. It is not only the fun that they are thinking but they are thinking of making money. Unfortunately, if it is not managed well, everything will disappear. Disappear in the sense that you will end up for nothing-literally,nothing. But if you know how to withdraw yourself from gambling, then you're making yourself productive. Disciplining yourself is necessary in this case so that it will have worth at the end.
939  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: August 04, 2017, 03:09:07 AM
IN the ancient age when the banking system was first started it has faced so many failures and bankruptcy and eventually they become much stronger and for a very long time, they grew so big that there is no opponents compare to them. but now the time has changed finally and it has a worthy opponent. bitcoin has all the necessary features which banks can not or do not provides us. like the higher profit and higher production. let's see how long can this journey goes I am supporting bitcoin.
Banks before were more than fair they actually have schemes like "double your money in 1 year" which are really paying and also have higher interest yield, what they were actually doing is harboring enough cash to make them richer and have more liquid asset than before. In short we are the ones who fueled their business into becoming an empire. Right now I kind of agree with you that Banks are no longer counted as a form of investment compared to before. Banks are now taking advantage of your money and they are making more from it.
Not really never but banks has also proven few things already in our society or in economy. Maybe for saving account bank is better but when it comes to interest now more or less its interest is 0.1% not so sure about this though. Yes I can see that bank becomes richer because or our monthly deposits and our maintaining balance is their one way of getting profit. For instance, one of the famous banks of my country has 5,000 maintaining balance so that the money I save won't be neglected and it is secured some ways but unfortunately it is not always the same because no matter how secured there are many probable cases that it won't be so the trust that you have given to the bank is now disappearing and difficult to trust again. That all depends if something happened which you won't like but not all banks are not worth to be trusted.
940  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling ideas on: August 04, 2017, 12:54:27 AM
Well I do agree that idea is worthless unless you execute it . Or unless you met the right person who understand it and willing to pay for it  . and that is why I opened the thread in the first place . It is very simple you might have the greatest idea and because you do not have resources to execute it < it might just die . So the alternate thing is to find someone that have the resources to execute and if you did not find that person your idea will remain worthless .
Practical approach and the theoretical approach has lots of difference. One can give a overview based on the words heard from people or through the books read. When applied to reality lot  of additional things happen unexpected. One who overcome it will be successful. So till one execute what his mind agonize can't be successful.
Somehow, I partly agree on that but basically if you have the gift or if it's in your blood since you were born to be good at selling methods and strategies I dare you are good at it. Though some cases you will hire somebody to teach you or browse the net to have quick resoureces for selling ideas. But most of the time you are self taught because the world of technology is getting higher therefore the faster your ideas to learn in a variety of information that is given online. The more information you watch or read the more you will learn.
