921  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Microsoft is allowing itself to detect pirated games on your Windows 10 PC on: October 20, 2015, 12:52:49 PM
I've happily upgraded my machine to Windows 10 but this invasion of privacy is really annoying.
You need to focus on clearing faults on your software, do not look our data.
it doesnt work that way in america. people buy into faulty goods and services, and give up their entire lives in the process. as long as the majority of people arent complaining about it, microsoft, as well as any other corporation, wont do much to listen to people's complaints, no matter how valid. backdoors will be fixed with enough complaints, only to have new ones patched in.

Microsoft's best days are behind. I feel that linux is the opposite.
that's exactly how i feel. if it wasnt for some software that was completely unavailable on a linux platform that i needed to use, i wouldve made the full switch a long time ago. freedom and privacy are now openly fought against by the government and their corporations, and its worse that people arent doing much about it.
924  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will win WW3? on: October 19, 2015, 08:34:50 PM
Neither faction, the cockroaches will win... Sad
agreed. in the current state of the world, a third world war would definitely end with the use of nuclear weapons, and the ones that shoot first will probably end the war, but huge parts of the world, if not all of it, would be too irradiated at the end of it all for human survival to go on.
925  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Dont trade with Cryptsy! Rip off! on: October 19, 2015, 07:55:01 PM
i think its a safe call at this point to say that cryptsy has turned full scam. theyre clearly refusing to pay out withdrawals, but are still accepting deposits in whatever form,
http://siliconangle.com/blog/2015/10/19/bitcoin-exchange-cryptsy-may-have-gone-full-mt-gox-refuses-to-pay-out-customers/

the site has had some warning signs for the past few months, but its on the verge of collapse now.

928  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: October 19, 2015, 12:48:17 PM
There have been many users like Amph, redsn0w and many (sorry for mentioning these names, I ain't accusing them); who make many posts in few days and I have seen them getting paid for all those posts, I have seen them getting paid more than BTC0.5 each time in each week's period, so what's the problem with me???

I know I made many posts in few days, but those were all my tips or I would say, my contribution to the community as I like sharing the best tips with people so that they make profit with their currently on-hold BTC they have...

I am sorry if I did anything wrong, but I was unavailable few days back, so thought to make my thread more active by doing that, and I don't think that I spam here in any means...
youve posted over 60 posts, just today. all of them in 1 thread. not only that, the majority of them are nearly identical tips, all of which could have been consolidated into a few big posts. imo, its more than apparent that youre posting solely with the mindset of getting your post count up to get paid. if i were in marco's position, i wouldve counted maybe 5-10 posts of yours to be valid for pay. maybe even deny it altogether.

ill take a vouch copy if youre willing, i have some time on my hands for the next few days to try it out. pretty skeptical though.
930  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Water on Mars? Bleh. Astronomers may have found giant alien 'megastructures' on: October 19, 2015, 10:07:08 AM
We are like primitives compared to this advance aliens who may have evolve and build civilization million years ahead of us.

I doubt there are any civilizations that are millions of years ahead of us.

They would eventually destroy themselves.  How would they get past AI?
survival may be possible in a hivemind sort of civilization where free will doesnt exist, but rather the will of a central few. but i doubt it as well, if any civilization out there existed that were millions of years ahead of ours, they wouldve likely contacted us or tried (and succeeded) to exterminate us.

We would never know for sure. But what makes us so special out of 1 trillion planets in milky way galaxy alone. This is not include the other 100 billion galaxies.

Why they never contacted us?
1. The could be very far from us.
2. We don't know if they tried contacting us before. We just delevelop the capacity to read signals in just a century ago. This is like a pico second time lapse in the universe.
3. They  already controlling us without us knowing it.
4. They us like ants not worth of contacting.
for number 1, assuming the hypothetical civilization is indeed millions of years ahead of ours, i wouldnt expect distance to be an issue, assuming sci-fi style space travel was possible in this universe. as for number 1, if the civilization was indeed that advanced, contacting us shouldnt be a problem either with their vastly superior technology. nothing to say for statement 3, but for #4, its very possible they are merely observing us for now, judging weather we are worth contacting, or may be a future threat to their civilization.

932  Economy / Services / Re: Request for escrow on: October 19, 2015, 08:13:02 AM
Why do you need an escrow for such a small amount, how much is that like $3? if someone scams out of that there is something mentally wrong with him
youd be surprised. people have scammed for far, far less than that on here. some people seem to think bitcoin is more valuable than gold or something around here, its just money.
933  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Paypal account with funds [[WTS]] on: October 18, 2015, 11:17:30 PM
why would you sell an account with 3500$ in it for 2500$ basically? i use paypal alot and money can be sent to your bank and takes 3 days max. something seems fishy here
my guess is, as soon as op sees the coin in their wallet and sends the info over, theyll claim that their paypal account was hacked to support, causing it to be locked. within a few hours, they would have their account back by providing proof of owning the CC/bank acc that was previously registered on the account. its common sense, theres no reason someone would be offering to sell you 3500 dollars for roughly 2500 dollars.
934  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sex Partners Must Say "Yes" Every 10 Minutes, California 10th Graders Taught on: October 18, 2015, 10:00:35 PM
however, something else that was quite interesting: it seems the 'lawyer' that the male student had for his defense performed so poorly that he later sued.
http://www.mindingthecampus.org/2015/06/amhersts-version-of-kafkas-the-trial/
the "lawyer" was more trained in social justice than civil jusice.

It is all inter-related. Professor C. Rhonda Cobham-Sander, an extreme-left wing black supremacist was appointed as the adviser for the accuser. The male student was given an incompetent adviser, who messed up his case. Since we don't know the real identities of the accuser and the accused, I can't be sure. But it seems to me that there is something fishy with this lawsuit.
true, the puzzle pieces do seem to be there to make out this case to be a bit sketchy, but i dont really believe it. what's the point in the university's administration colluding with a female student to get another student expelled? there's nothing in it, unless the female student had connections in the administration and pulled some strings. however, i really doubt that was the case here. more likely it was just a case of stupid people doing stupid things.
935  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US Presidential Democrat Candidates...any one to care about? on: October 18, 2015, 09:20:50 PM
If no one is pro-Bitcoin then no one is worth mentioning. In my book, if a politician is not aware on Bitcoin and doesn't understand the importance of it in the next decades, he isn't just ready to deal with an entire country economy wise. If you aren't at the forefront of technological and economic development you are wasting my time. They are just corporate puppets in my opinion.
well that's quite narrow minded of you to think that bitcoin support is the sole basis on who you support.

Feel the Bern Smiley he has the best campaign ever.
the campaign itself shouldnt be an indicator of who you feel would run the country the best of the candidates, pay attention to their policies and ideas.

To me it looks like Hillary Clinton will win, she is the early favourite and her campaign has earnt more compared to Bernie Sanders' campaign. Another serious competitor to her is Bernie Sanders, his attitude and enthusiasm really catches peoples eyes. With this, he has lot of supporters and he has a chance of winning. At the same time, Hillary also has a lot of supporters, In fact, she has even more than Bernie. That is why I think Hillary will win.  Grin Grin Grin
i feel itll come down to her and sanders, but honestly, i think every presidential candidate in the US is bound to fail in the sense that theyll drive the country deeper into the pit and end up hated at the end of 4/8 years.
936  Economy / Lending / Re: Nyxs short term loan service on: October 18, 2015, 08:26:16 PM
Max per individual loan is .05 btc.
100% physical collateral accepted.
i dont think physical collateral really makes sense when your maximum is 0.05 BTC, thats not even 20 usd. i would recommmend that you remove the idea of physical collateral entirely unless youre able and willing to lend 1+ btc for some special cases. stick to taking forum accounts as collateral and make sure those are held by a third party escrow service. also, something i notice with loan sharks in this area, be reasonable in pricing forum accounts, people vastly undervalue accounts (at like 20-40% of liquidation value) hoping to get a quick and substantial profit if the borrower ends up defaulting.

like i always say, these people are fucking lunatics. take a look at this case: https://reason.com/blog/2015/06/11/amherst-student-was-expelled-for-rape-bu
tl;dr, male student is drunk (blacked out), receives bj, female student cries rape later and gets the guy expelled. and a note, the male was the female student's roommate's boyfriend, how fucked up is that. this idea of consent only goes 1 way with these people, and the double standards simply go unaddressed.

Although it was the female accuser who initiated the lawsuit, she will not see any benefits out of it. According to the report, she has become some sort of pariah within the Amherst College. All the compensation will go for legal expenses. The only people who are going to benefit out of this is the lawyers, who are siding with the accuser (and probably the judge, who will receive kickbacks later).
however, it appears the female student found some new 'friends' of the same mindset, namely labelled as victim advocates in the article. shortly afterwards, she took the story to the college's  administration, resulting in the male student's  expulsion.

however, something else that was quite interesting: it seems the 'lawyer' that the male student had for his defense performed so poorly that he later sued.
http://www.mindingthecampus.org/2015/06/amhersts-version-of-kafkas-the-trial/
the "lawyer" was more trained in social justice than civil justice.

Quote
Doe’s advisor, on the other hand, was an Amherst administrator (who lacked tenure protections) named Torin Moore, whose academic training came not in the law or in anything related to civil liberties but instead in “social justice education.” Moore’s performance was so lackluster that Doe eventually would sue him. Neither Moore nor Cobham-Sander responded to requests for comment about whether they were aware of the full scope of evidence in the case.

American media have become a huge echo chamber and provide a platform for pseudo-progressives that are in fact abiding to totalitarian radical left ideology. I hope common sense will help people realize this is all a sham.

Hello. I dont know why ? I don't have any trade with you. Just sent you a pm with rates.
that doesnt explain how that address seems to have a transaction of .28 BTC going into it. seems to me there was an agreement for a trade and op sent you the money.
Just to make it sure, where exactly has Jame posted this addy? AFAIK any scammer could take his name , scam someone and Jame's reputation would come under doubt, at any rate the OP still hasn't provided enough proof of him being actually scammed. For all I know he could be a troll trying to mess with someone's reputation
that's pretty much what im thinking, theres no solid evidence for or against either side, i was just pointing it out. there is no way to link that the skype convo was between op and the accused, and there's no way to prove it wasnt either. this accusation is baseless until op provides info.
