Am expecting England to declare pretty quickly since they don't want the match to end in a draw for obvious reasons. Australia should be thankful for rain interference since they have been playing like crap in all departments. Hazlewood and Starc turned out to be the only decent bowlers while Cummins surprisingly couldn't claim a single wicket and gave away plenty of runs. England team has managed to make a huge collection of 592. But I feel bad for JOnnyBairstow. He could not score a century for just 1 run. Jonny Bairstow was unbeaten on 99 runs. Bairstow was unbeaten on 99 off just 81 balls and England managed to take a huge lead of 275. Australia scored only 317 runs in the first innings. Collecting 275 runs in the second innings will not be easy for Australia. England is more likely to win. The performance of Australia's bowlers was not good. Every bowler gave a lot of runs. Josh Hazlewood took 5 wickets. And he gave away runs at an average of 4.66. Cameron Green also scored 4.08 runs per over and took two wickets. Apart from these two bowlers, no other Australian bowler had a good performance. |
