921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So no one cares about ETF decision, right? on: March 16, 2017, 08:37:05 AM
In 8 years of bitcoin history no ones has waited an ETF decision for adopt/ buying/  using this technology .
So actually after this rejection no one cares about ETF, until the next round (as I have read the twins will try again an ETF approval).

Agreed, besides bitcoin reached 1253$ or more so far. In fact, Even Etf rejected by the Sec I know it doesn't affect me at all, maybe others are very much frustrated after the decision has been finally made then price of bitcoin at once dropped to 1050$ I think but now we already recovered the price it is because of the strong demand of the users of bitcoin all around the world.
922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What SolidX ETF means to the bitcoin community? on: March 16, 2017, 07:58:06 AM
oh God, one more ETF is there? I didnt hear about it . I only read about the twins ETF. But what ever it may be, I dont think it will be approved. And definitely the  SEC decision whatever it may be , its not going to affect the price of bitcoin in my opinion. You can expect a slight variation in the price but not much.
This is true and correct, I agreed on what you had said. Actually, for what happen now Sec already rejected ETF as I expected to be happen. although many of the community in bitcoin world are much more expecting good results , but their expectation didn't happen. And that's realy good news to me Smiley
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do all coins offer something unique? on: March 15, 2017, 07:14:10 AM
According to coinmarketcap.com there are 668 coins on their site all trading.  Do they all do something different or are there a lot of copy cats and if so,  what do the 100% copycats have value?

Please show example if you can

All altcoins in real are copy cats,LOL Grin, if you are going to observe their features it came at the same way they will only change few things only but still obvious no originality. Wink
924  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing/Trading Bitcoin on: March 15, 2017, 06:36:49 AM
Hello guys, I have read about bitcoin recently and decided to make my research on it. I am residing in Singapore and it seems that Coinbase is a pretty good place for me to do my trading( kindly give me your opinion about this website).
As for wallet, I have downloaded Bitcoin Core and is intending to use it as my wallet( or should I use coinbase wallet instead?).
-As of now, what I would like to ask is that, when investing in Bitcoin, is it a good time to buy in now or should I wait for the price to drop?
-Is there any other reliable website for me to buy Bitcoin( Singapore) or should I just stick with Coinbase? Because I saw some issues with Coinbase claiming that its a fraud.
-When selling, how much higher should I sell to cover up the transaction/processing fee?
-Is it a must to have at least 1 BTC for trading/investing, or I could have like 0.015BTC and hold them till the price rise?
Thanks in advance

There are many options for you to buy bitcoin, you can check Poloniex, Bitrrex, localbitcoin, bitstamp, kraken and others. For you to find out of which among them is the best. So in my suggestion to you try kraken or Poloniex though these for me are very much good.
925  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: March 15, 2017, 06:16:11 AM
Unpredictable is good word. When you are in.trading business things can go so smooth and you are making nice profit but very soon this can change and you start to lose or getting nowhere. There is no proven strategy that will ensure you to be profitable all the time.
And if you want to earn some substantial amount you need big starting capital.
for me trading is one reasonable job. trading like any other job. oh yes, trading does not require a large capital. we can start from very slightly. for example, we can trade altcoin to conserve our capital.

yes I agree unpredictable but having knowledge and experience would definitely up your chances when trading. you may lose some, but from experiences the movement of the coins will not be negative all the time
yes that is right that trading is unpredictable but for those who have no experience and having no skill of trading as there are so many people who are really good in trading. and their prediction in trading is also very good.
There is no way to predict everything all the time, there are always things that we cannot foresee like sudden economic crisis, natural disasters, business doing fraudulent things, etc.
yes that is right to say that it is not possible to do right prediction about bitcoin all the time, some time we decive and do wrong prediction about trading which really lead us to lost.

Agreed, prediction is not accurate, in fact this things can push you down sometimes if your prediction is wrong which give you turn into loses of money. So it really needs  I think a careful analysis to make it profitable.
926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: March 15, 2017, 06:10:55 AM
you can grow your bitcoins through multiple ways, if you invest your bitcoin in gambling there you can really grown your bitcoin in a very very fast mood.

But most in gambling had no assurance that you can grow your coins instantly, because of the gamblers who played in gambling are depending to their luck or it depend  on the games you are going to played. It is still much safe to invest your capital or to grow your coins in  trading, and never invest in any cloud mining site it will just gonna waste your capital its dangerous and risky too.
927  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: March 15, 2017, 06:07:25 AM
I know there are many big players who manipulate bitcoin price and make huge profits but can we the bitcointalk members also form a cartel and let bitcoin price never fall?is it possible that we manipulate price as I am sure most of bitcoin users visit this forum

If you are just an ordinary community in this industry, you cannot manipulate bitcoin. The only person can do manipulate it are  those people who can afford to buy a huge volume of bitcoin, or big group organization, also the ex changers too has a able to do it too.
928  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: March 15, 2017, 06:02:37 AM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

There stored it because this is their belief into bitcoin, where someday it can give them a big savings in the near future on which once the price value meet the highest or peak value they can sell their holdings to get their rewards of waiting for That's on this long term basis it needs patience actually.
929  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: March 15, 2017, 05:45:33 AM
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?

Bitcoin has been already  popular a couple of years past even up to now it became more popular because of the demand of the people who'll get interest to use bitcoin. Moreover, there are big whaler investors are adopting the concepts of it too.
930  Economy / Economics / Re: Build a Bank Of Bitcoin on: March 15, 2017, 05:39:07 AM
if i build a bank of bitcoin that operating like a traditional fiat money bank when people can save the money and get interest for their saving and also people can get a loan from my bank but the fiat money is change for bitcoin, the question is would you guys trust me to save your bitcoin on my bitcoin bank that i want to build ?

If we are talking about bank, Well I guess in terms of saving bitcoin were the one who is already a bank or we are the bank not others who will hold our bitcoin. and I wouldn't entrust my bitcoin to anyone ever!
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should governments allow people to pay their taxes in Bitcoin BTC? on: March 15, 2017, 04:59:50 AM
If it was an option in your country, would you pay your taxes with Bitcoin?

Or would that not make any sense to you at all, especially if you hold BTC as an asset whose value you hope to see increasing over time...?

I personally pay my taxes with EUR and will probably continue to do so even if I can pay with BTC

We had our own belief and understanding in terms of this matter and I respect others belief here.
For me in my side I cannot volunteer myself my to give any taxes in the government. If they really want to adopt bitcoin in each country they should not control it, because we knew what bitcoin really is isn't, according to its features of decentralization, on this matter we shouldn't forget this thing.
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: March 15, 2017, 04:50:03 AM
I am not using any other crypto currency at the moment, but I don't think any of them will ever overtake bitcoin. Its the standard of all, its like money now, do you see money competing with anything else? I really don't see that. So I feel bitcoin will hold it own in the market and would probably keep growing.
It is true that  no altcoin can overtake the value of bitcoin, though in some terms of technology which altcoin it has more features that is more greater than bitcoin, because there are some altcoin selling a goods like debit card which bitcoin can't do, and because of this things altcoin is helping bitcoin to promote it as well,  though it may not increase like the value of bitcoin has it now.
933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: March 15, 2017, 04:44:25 AM
Bitcoin is usually used by people interested in technology. I mean, persons with a certain technical knowledge are interested in bitcoin.

My observations are that way. I think Bitcoin needs to reach larger quantities. Can use bitcoin in people who are not interested in technology?
Can people use the bitcoin in the profession group like tradesmen, teachers, housewives, firemen, butchers? Are we going to see the days that these people use bitcoin?

What good things about in bitcoin is anyone are very much welcome to use and to learn what bitcoin really is, as long as the individuals are ready to start knowing about it. It is very simple to use, just you have desktop, laptop, mobile android phone you have a chance to know the advantage and features of bitcoin. Whether you are teenagers, professionals, housewives, teachers and others.

936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: !!!!!! HELP PLEASE !!!!!!! on: March 14, 2017, 11:59:25 AM
Hello I’ve been checking out this forum for a couple weeks and I see there is some good info being shared here.  I bet sports for a living in Reno, NV and spend a lot of time in Las Vegas, NV as well.  I’m hearing more and more about bitcoin and I know a lot of the online sportsbooks are moving more towards bitcoin.  My question is what would you recommend for someone that wants to know more about bitcoin in general?  It’s like a new language for me and I want to get smart about it before I jump in and start using it.  Is there a “bitcoin for dummies” kind of website where one can learn the basics?  Also if any of you bet sports I wanted to know if you had some favorite places that you used.  I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before BTC will be used by all the casinos and sportsbooks here in Nevada as well.  For sharing your knowledge I will be happy to share some of my picks if I see something strong.

If you want to know more about in bitcoin, there's a lot of things or way to find what it is. I can give you a link which is the basic step for the beginners about how to earn bitcoin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1629118.0 I guess this will help you dude. Smiley
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A online game use bitcoin as payment? on: March 14, 2017, 11:53:43 AM
From what I read I guess OP is looking for a game like Leauge of Legends or maybe WoW
But where payments are accepted in btc

And I don't know much about this but I don't think btc is really used in gaming industry ^^

flappybird for mobile was accepting bitcoin as a payment, but there are only niche game like this one that accept bitcoin, if you are looking for big game there are none, and not only steam accept bitcoin, as a payment, humble bundle also accept bitcoin

Yeah, that's right! I remembered i played floppy bird on my mobile android phone which I am able to earn satoshi every time I play, And I think minecraft also connected into bitcoin, while play you gain bitcoin. Grin

939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Intresting Coin Idea on: March 14, 2017, 10:54:22 AM
I have a question.

I have a unique coin I want to launch.  There is nothing special about the coin, but the people who have it.   I work with a small country where they have no computers.  I would like to start a coin for them as they really don't use banks.  There is over 50,000 people.

How would I do this if they cant mine the coins and have no direct access to the internet to trade them?  Cell phones are few and far between.

This is a third world with lots of stealing money from people so if I can make it into a digital coin, that would help them.

Well, that's too bad for you where in your place don't have any internet access and few people had their own mobile phone its gonna be a big problem in your part. Because bitcoin was being used by the internet without it, its a big problem anyway. Smiley
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple wallet??? on: March 14, 2017, 10:48:47 AM
The official wallet (cold wallet) is not supported anymore by Ripple but community still improve it (try Rippex wallet). You can also generate offline an address / secret key pair. There are some Android wallets
https://www.xrpchat.com/links/
https://github.com/whotooktwarden/generateSecretOffline
https://ripply.eu/

Cold wallet is the safest way to store a large amount of coin imo (better than an Android wallet..)

I don't know if I'm right with my information, isn't Ripple is non minable? I don't know if there is a windows wallet does ripple has. not so sure about it. But I'll try to download this one.
