There is no clear indicators that can make people to know the real or scam ico because the scam ico team often has enough funds to throw around for advertisement and thereby attracts a very large audience while the real ico might not even have the funds to finance their project.

This is a very interesting point. Something for us all to think about. I have been guilty of thinking an ICO must be legit after seeing the fancy graphics on their ANN thread.

Your list is all scam.

One of my biggest pet-peeves is finger pointing and scam accusation without anything standing behind the claims. The reason I started this topic was to promote due diligence. Every ICOs and ITOs ANN thread has some moron or group of them posting scam accusations without a leg to stand on. I'm not saying everyone needs to be a gumshoe blockchain detective.... Just, please don't post spam here and please don't randomly accuse thirty companies of being a scam in one swoop. If you suspect something but can't or don't know how to prove it, that's fine. We are here to discuss these types of things and help each other out. Whether it be the accuser or the accused. Any type/amount of evidence supporting your claim is a requirement to promote change.
Thank you for your post.

My wife was doing her normal morning post replies and forum browsing when she was interrupted by being logged out and a message showed up stating that she has been banned from this forum for security purposes. She has done nothing but help out the community and participate in trustworthy trades and deals. Please, someone help. We have both worked very hard to get where we are. This is obviously a mistake. Regardless, rules remain the same for everybody.Mods won't message you, either you can message them with the details or update it in the main thread,
I don't recollect Mods banning someone for security purposes. Roll Eyes

Who is your wife on the forum and why is she a cornerstone for the community?

Her name is Lorilikes but if you do a member search it would be lbromy. Theymos let her change her username a while back. Her name shows on the front end as Lorilikes but she still signs in s lbromy. She has been a positive influence on the growth of crypto and a beacon of light for the positive uses of Bitcoin and blockchain. She is an accomplished writer for BTCmanager and CORE Media. She has converted nay-sayers and organized groups of like-minded enthusiasts here in Las Vegas. We are not just crypto-currency users. We are neck deep in the community and make sure that every day, we do something to help the growth of this forum and the adoption and acceptance of crypto.

    Airdroptastic,
This is definitely one of my favorite social communities, ever. I not writing this post from a private jet or island by any means, but I can say that I have several different coins and tokens and three wallets I've never heard of. In site most of its know the odds of striking it rich are rare at best. But those of us that stick around, help out with info, share experiences(god and bad) and keep collecting these things. Eventually, we will have placed bets on every horse in the race. For free, usually.

Sounds like with the right team and plan, this might work. I know a few apps already played around with this concept. They were never properly incentive though. Reward system are always a good motivator for staying the course. If it's profitable, the user base will build itself.

934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥⭐[ANN] WiC |Monetizing WiFi Sharing | Developed Technology |Token Sale Soon⭐🔥 on: July 27, 2017, 07:08:16 AM
Alright, sign me up. The ideas that are coming out of this ICO craze are insane. Some of them, this being one, are achievable. I worry sometimes that in 5-10 years, I will need a crypto token to flush my own toilet because the water company has created a blockchain to simplify the distribution of our favorite clear liquid to the masses. It will be tradeable on most exchanges though.
Sorry... I trailed of there a bit. I will happily be an early tester for this network. I am in Las Vegas, NV and at least five times a day I find myself needing a Wi-Fi signal.
935  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is God male or female? on: July 27, 2017, 06:07:08 AM
God has no gender but he is omnicient above all.
He.... Lol. Don't worry, It's a common word flub.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ones are real, Which ones are a scam? on: July 27, 2017, 06:02:32 AM
This isn't going to be a useful thread unless people actually contribute their knowledge about a particular alt. BTW, there are discussions that ICOs simply issuing tokens on blockchains shouldn't really be considered crypto alts. But in any case, my comment is about Monsterbyte and why it shouldn't be a scam:

1. No frenzy, because no promise of huge returns. Dividends model.
2. Existing business model. Actual financial reports already published.
3. ICO to raise fixed reasonable amount of $1 million for growth.

Plain, simple, no crazy idea with confusing theories.

Great! Thank you for adding some substance to this thread.
937  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is God male or female? on: July 27, 2017, 05:48:12 AM
This the premise.

1. God is the most powerful entity.
2. God create the sun and earth.
3. God create the humans.

Probably he don't have sex at all. But he prefer men to rule over women maybe because God is male.

"He prefer men to rule over women"? That is a very antiquated belief and this day and age, with our ability to communicate with people from all around the world every day. One should realize that this is not the case at all. Energy has no preference and never will. People do. Energy just is. The women are made of the same energy (god) as you my friend.
938  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is God male or female? on: July 27, 2017, 05:42:11 AM
I see this topic every day. I figure it's time to share my thoughts.....
Does an idea have a gender? Other than being a word that misrepresents the energy that makes up every particle in the universe, both the known and unknown, God was an idea and is now many ideas created by humans and humans alone. These ideas come from the Anima and Animus inside of us all.
This is a brief description of this....  The Anima and Animus are just more words or "ideas" used to describe the often suppressed, latent parts of our unconscious minds that are comprised of both man and woman. Thanks to societal and familial influences, we are most often disconnected from one or the other.
     Soooooo...... My answer is BOTH

"Becoming an “in-dividual,” and, in so far as “individuality” embraces our innermost, last, and incomparable uniqueness, it also implies becoming one’s own self. We could therefore translate individuation as “coming to selfhood,” or “self-realization.” -Jung
