I would like to see a coin with anonymity implemented, not just "will be implemented soon" crap.

A felony? You think there is some magic crypto-currency police?

Just stop, it is a dangerous game you are playing. He held up his end of the bargain and released his coins as promised. Yes we all lost, but that is the deal here. Don;t want to get scammed, stay out of this game.
yes so you trade and make 5btc then you want to take it out..... account locked  o ok i was scammed ill just forget and move on?  i dont think so

What are you going to do? Be internet tough guy and waste your energy while the scammer is partying with your investment? Nothing will happen, this game has been played over and over and over and over and over and nothing ever happens.

No, but there is a, you know ... police? He didn't held his bargain, he lied multiply times and decieved people (IPO destroyed, market under way) which I am pretty sure falls under the definition of fraud. But hey the beauty is; we don't really have to figure that out, somebody can just go the police, make an report and then they'll figure it out. I have a Canadian friend who will just do that on monday so we'll see how this plays out. They have also greater means to figure out who the IP belongs too.

 Cheesy Roll Eyes

Not sure why you are being so defensive of the dev. It takes like an hour to make an report so it's not like its great effort and the police has to every report. So in worst case they don't find nothing and in best case the find the dev and maybe even charge him. Whats there to lose except a little time?

Go for it. Make your report while the developer blows our 40 grand on women and booze. Cheesy

I was very curious how 10,000 sats was the decided IPO price. Seemed a little over the top, and I fear the value at this point agrees. Sorry everyone, hope for a rebound!

Tomorrow we are going to be listed on C-CEX.

All unsold coins will be moved there. Coins which have been sold before C-CEX, will sit in 1 wallet, so I can send them to their owners after launch.

2 Days! Great job thus far.

UseCoin to UseDcoin in less than 24hrs.

Not bad. This is truly the age of the pre-dumped coin. I guess Bittrex had no qualms about releasing the BTC. And the rest of us can go hang.

Bittrex should shoulder some blame for listing a coin with a giant premine that was never destroyed, but they didn't host the ICO. There was no btc for them to release, as all the ipo money was already received outside of bittrex.

So these weren't the 'supposedly destroyed' surplus coins being dumped on Bittrex? Where were they dumped then? Because the price dropped from 3K to 150 in a couple of minutes as 1.5 million coins were sold. Too fast for most traders to notice what was happening. They weren't listed but somebody must know where they came from... and where the BTC went. And it might not have broken any rules, but it left behind a lot of very cross victims.

Nothing can be done.

Coinbrief is heavily biased towards reddcoin, even utilizes it to tip others for retweets, essentially buying publicity for both them and their investment.
Time will tell who is right.Good luck.

and to you.

There are always community takeovers, it usually only lessens the investors loss by a small percentage.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RDD] Reddcoin - The Social Currency- [PoSV] Official Release v1.3.1.1 on: August 23, 2014, 08:07:51 PM
Why I sold 10,000,000 RDD:

Let me tell everyone a little something about Reddcoin from my perspective... This coin started out under the fury of Dogecoin. Someone saw the success of the coin and made a similar coin. Even had a silly alien as the logo, notice the name Reddcoin is similar to REDDit and even has an alien logo? Hmmmm... And smart enough to neither confirm nor deny they were utilizing this wordplay to their gain... This "group" then setup a subreddit, and purchased subscribers and thousands of fake subscribers and spammed the new coin. They then had a very "quiet" IPO, which I suspect would have been to been allowed for "select" investors...

Then everyone was fighting in DOGEcoin some wanted to take the coin on a more "serious" path, others wanted to stay the way it has always been, fun, positive, and good, but not serious... Reddcoin saw the market and changed its logo, and at the same time people started to flock to it... The developers started to say "Hmmm I got something real here..."

So my 2 cents, Doge was a joke coin gone legit, Reddcoin is a scamcoin gone legit...

I am not saying to not invest because of that. But I digress...

So now you have a coin that wants to be incorperated into social media like Facebook, Twitter, etc... Which I think is genius especially when it comes to tipping artists (Soundcloud, DeviantArt etc...) But DOGE has attempted this, and many other coins have attempted this, why would Reddcoin prevail over all of those?

Also look at Dogecoin, it has TREMENDOUS success and huge milestones such as the world olympics and even a NASCAR car, but the price never budges... why? I believe market saturation. There are 88 BILLION DOGEcoin. That is 88,000 Millionaires!

Reddcoin has 26 Billion coins, 26,000,000,000! That is 1/3 of Dogecoin, mind you Dogecoin is the most widley accepted cryptocurrency of this kind and it is valued at 25 sats while maintaining 5x Redccoins volume. That's right, Reddcoin has 1/5 the volume of Dogecoin and is already nearly 85% of the value, so thinking it will go up is unlikely. There is not a single coin over 10,000,000,000 worth more than 25 satoshi.

Besides the huge available coin saturating the crypto world, there are literally 100's, pushing thousands, of coins offering the same service, and I promise you many will be moving into the social media market, but this one just doesn't fit the bill IMHO... And if FB, or any other social network, was willing to incorporate Reddcoin tipping, it would have done it by now... In fact that would have been a developers top priority, and if it wasn't, I would be concerned.

Have fun with this coin, as I have, but don't expect or chance any serious investment here.

Oh and if you wish to invest be sure to remember sell on the news, once/if the developer returns (been abscent for atleast a week now) there may be some news.
