921  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will The Upcoming Recession Affect Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2019, 02:55:17 PM
I think it's important to consider what impact the recession that's upcoming will have on Bitcoin.
Bitcoin has never been through a recession, and so we don't know how owners of and investors in Bitcoin will react.
If there is a major global recession then the entire market will bleed and nothing will escape that, people will panic when the entire market starts falling and you will see major sell off but i do not expect the BTCitcoin to have the same issue with the rest of the market but still if there is a major global issue no market is safe from it, there is economic slow down globally and i do not wish to go through another recession again.

That's the reason why investors are in a hurry to sell all their bitcoin and with that the market will bleed. I am not wishing that this will happened in the future because a lot of us have been affected so let us wish the recession will not happened. We need to work more to keep the our economy goes up.

Come on, guys. Let us be more consistent the next time around and not just post for the sake of posting.

eaLiTy is saying that if there is a major global recession then the entire market will bleed and nothing will escape that. And then he goes on saying that the entire market starts falling. But then he suddenly isolates Bitcoin by saying that Bitcoin is not going to have the same issues as the rest of the market. But then he wrapped it up by saying that there is no safe market when there is a major global issue. This man is joking.

And you are responding with another joke.

Recession is normal. It happens to the market. There is always a cycle in the market and recession is part of it. And even if you wish that it will not happen, it will still happen.

Recession will happen but there will always be recovery that comes afterward.
922  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Exchange on: September 29, 2019, 02:30:20 PM
@martingaptil  dont worry man. I suggest you a company called propersix which provide lot of facilities It is secured than the other platform because it use the latest Blockchain Technology. it's transaction speed is so fast which is more 6000 TPS. So, you can use this exchanger.

For Visiting: PROPERSIX
@alinsalto Thanks a lot for your good suggestions. I saw the propfile of propersix company and its activities. I really like ProperSix Company. It's one of the best platforms for the prestigious person. i have never seen such a reliable platform like Propersix Blockchain Technology.

I should have responded to your OP seriously and properly until I read the entire thread and end up with this fake drama.

You two are like foolish puppets here.

So we are now doing away with that ineffective click bait and shifted to this kind of play? In which some newbie is asking something and another newbie will respond with a foolish suggestion of something that hitherto unheard of and the OP will then respond again heaping foolish praises such as lines starting with "I really like" and "It's one of the best platforms" and "i have never seen such a reliable platform".

You fools, better luck next time! Ciao!
923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we really have fast transactions like the XRP? on: September 29, 2019, 01:58:20 PM
Was your manager using segwit rather than the legacy addresses? I guess that was a factor. Another factor would be the transaction fees. If your manager used the minimum fees, then you cannot expect your transaction to be processed faster than it could be if the transactions fees are higher. There is competition in the network, as you might be aware of. The higher the transaction fee paid, the faster the process since it will be prioritized over those who pay lower fees.

As regards lightning network, we will have to be more patient about it as the development about lightning network is still very limited until now. And the design of lightning network is for smaller day to day transactions. This is generally for stronger adoption in terms of daily purchasing transactions. For now, we have to be content with what Bitcoin has to offer. If you compare it with altcoins, that is a discussion on another page altogether different from here.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: David Marcus, Coinbase CEO show supports for Facebook Libra on: September 29, 2019, 01:33:58 PM
The launching of Facebook stablecoin is getting support from prominent people in the crypto space, regulators have been teaming up in order to dissect Libra for everything it’s got since it will bring an end to all traditional money which is major concerns of some countries in the European soil such as France and Germany which has vowed to block their citizenship from using if later successfully launched. Would Facebook be successful on this mission that has attracted global critics? Rest of the story can be found here: https://cryptodaily.co.uk/2019/09/coinbase-ceo-show-support-facebooks-libra?utm_source=OneSignal&utm_medium=App

The title seems to say that David Marcus is the CEO of Coinbase. I thought that is what this thread is all about.

David Marcus is not the CEO of Coinbase, for clarification's sake. Marcus is part of Facebook, particularly the messenger unit of the social media giant. I can remember David Marcus, in one of his explanations about the libra project, for his famous remark that basically tells people that they don't have to trust Facebook to support or trust libra. It is because libra is not Facebook as Facebook is not libra.

Coinbase, in one hand, is of course behind libra because libra and Coinbase share the same world which is the crypto world.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if ETH hold above 168, downtrend will be over. on: September 29, 2019, 09:23:03 AM

if ETH hold above 168, downtrend will be over.
just an idea, the market is still very weak and bearish

How many days or weeks have you been observing the charts and whatever patterns they may have created?

It seems that your rank or your post speaks a lot of your inexperience and yet you try to make a good prediction out of what is happening today. If you think that ETH at $200 or $500 or even $1000 will cut the downtrend, you are very wrong. The downtrend is part of the life of ETH and all other cryptocurrencies except the stablecoins. There will always be downtrend. It occurs every now and then. It cannot be erased from the future of ETH nor of any coins.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why its hard to attract investors on: September 29, 2019, 09:02:07 AM
Before investors are everywhere in crypto currency specially mid 2017 but everything change
Ico's started to boom in the internet, you can choose a lot
of ico that you like, but then started to change , there are ico that are scam, running with investors money in a snap, lending platforms also can be seen, the same happens they suddenly disappear
we have already have a very good market if there are no scammers
they change everything, now investors are so hesitant whenever there is a new coin that are good but they opted out because they think its a scam, I think we should find a way to lessen or better eliminate them for good.

No no, let us try to widen our perspective a bit more. This view is even myopic as far as my observation is concerned.

Truly, the scam projects really pulled down the reputation of the ICO market. That made the investors think twice and most even decided not to proceed investing, thus the fall of the entire market.

But let us also be aware that of the projects that are not scam, probably 90% will not succeed. This is not just all about the scammers. This is also all about the projects that are introducing nothing new, nothing innovative, nothing disruptive to the market. Many of these are mere copies of existing projects. They are not coding new inputs.

Together, they all caused the market to crumble down and shoo investors away.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin already won ? on: September 29, 2019, 08:37:13 AM
https://youtu.be/UF528l8fqKk

Bitcoin is pretty much already considered Gold 2.0. Is that enough ? Does it still need to become a currency from here on ? Or is it the new "Gold Standard" that other currencies will be measured by ?

There is no winning for as long as Bitcoin's value solely depends on its brittle reputation as a store of value. Gold is something whose value is sealed for eternity. Bitcoin cannot be like that. In fact, if we truly think of it a little bit deeper than most of us, without bias or prejudice, Bitcoin came from nothing and such is the very reason why it will also be gone. In the next 50 scores, or 10 decades, or the next couple of centuries or millennia, we do not know. What we know is that Bitcoin, too, shall pass.

Becoming a currency is an awesome feat for Bitcoin but it will not keep it forever wanted and utilized.
928  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela's central bank is holding Cryptocurrency! on: September 29, 2019, 04:57:52 AM
According to the latest information from Bitcoin.com, they have reported on this. I don't know if this is a bad effect or a good effect on the market? Everyone can make a point here.

The more demand there is to Bitcoin, the better. That is the basic logic of something whose value is determined exactly by that rule.

This kind of news is actually widespread even before. It has already spread before that Venezuela will make use of Bitcoin to get away from the sanctions imposed upon them from their western enemies. And this is really a good development for Bitcoin. Perhaps the only negative thing that one can deduce from it is that associating these days with Venezuela's Maduro government is bad for its reputation.
What about Venezuela's central bank, bad or good? I am always afraid that the volatility of bitcoin will affect the assets of the Venezuelan nation. If so, the value of Bitcoin is only $ 100 one day, then Venezuela will be in crisis again?
From my point of view, I think this is an extremely wrong decision of them. Bitcoin is one of the high-valued assets because of manipulation, when a country holds so many assets, the fate of that country will be so precarious.
A good central bank will always want to hold low-yielding but sustainable types of assets, I think the central bank asset manager is in trouble.

If the central banks of other countries that are seem to be working fairly are greedy and therefore bad, how much more of a central bank of a totalitarian country ruled by Maduro?

Your fear of Bitcoin's volatility that might adversely affect the Venezuelan nation shows that you seem to care. I bet you are an outsider at that. Well, Venezuelans should start feeling the same. Their country is totally in the hands of someone who seem to be not in his right mind. And I doubt that their central bank is independent enough to act based on what it deems right and best, if it still has that sense. If it has a bank asset manager, the man must be a mere puppet.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where i can find latest btc fork detailes on: September 29, 2019, 04:25:10 AM
im holding some amount of btc in ledger wallet and id like to know information's about uncommon btc forks after 2019 January can anyone share info about uncommon btc forks that still i can clams for free money.

i don't think there has been any new shitcoins in 2019 that were created by copying bitcoin. you'd have to search google for "list of bitcoin forks" to find them though.
i have this site bookmarked: http://forks.net/list/Bitcoin which has a list of all the forks, it doesn't seem to have anything that occured in 2019 unless it wasn't updated.

There is actually no need to exert much effort looking for it. If a shitfork happening to a shitcoin (please read as Bitcoin SV forked from Bitcoin ABC or Bitcoin Cash ABC, DEF, XYZ, blah blah) is making news all over the community, it is impossible for a Bitcoin shitfork not to make the headlines.

You will certainly hear of it before you even make an inquiry.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-09-27]Bitcoin Chaos Continues As Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg Reveals... on: September 29, 2019, 04:00:33 AM

it's a bit insulting to credit libra with sparking bitcoin's bull run. Roll Eyes

Crypto news always pick some stupid reasons to explain Bitcoin's price changes,

Because they are more of rumormongers and gossip peddlers rather than news writers and reporters. But is it something new? News used to be reporting what is actually happening without bias, interpretation, speculation, etc. That is not the case nowadays.

If it's insulting to credit libra with bitcoin's bull run, it is more unimaginable to credit it to some foolish FOMO created from nowhere.

Bitcoin was created because of distrust towards other people.

Is that really what ran in the mind of Satoshi when he created Bitcoin? You know what, there is this hint in me that says the followers of Satoshi are too hostile while the creator himself was amiable.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Would you invest in Mining Company IEO? on: September 29, 2019, 03:22:17 AM
Mintmine is doing a mining IEO. Mining, unlike some other crypto niche is extremely profitable.

Has anyone else done a mining IEO before? How did tokens perform?

Extremely profitable is an exaggeration. And no amount of exaggeration like that could convince the members of this forum who have been here for a long time.

Mintmine is not the first of its kind, and it is certainly not the first one who took this endeavor. Do you know what happened to all those projects in the same category as Mintmine? They all failed. So if it is indeed extremely profitable, it should not even be made through an IEO. Take a look at the history of AX1 or of Envion and you will know the history of this kind of attempt in the market.
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to cash out bitcoin anonymously in 2019! on: September 29, 2019, 02:51:51 AM
PLEASE READ THIS POST ENTIRELY, NOT JUST THE THREAD TITLE!

I know of a service where you can cash out  your BTC anonymously - are people interested in that? Should I share it?

Are there people on this forum who would like to know how to cash out BTC in fiat ANONYMOUSLY via their preferred way of sending the fiat?

I have found a way to do it but I am not sure whether it is allowed to post it here or whether there is enough interest to post it

How about cutting all these unnecessary suspense and mystery and post it here already?

If you are unsure if it is allowed or not allowed here and you are lazy enough to read the forum rules, then make the post. You will know if it is illegal inside this forum if it is deleted or if your newbie account is banned. Either way, it does not have too much of a risk on your part.

You are beating around the bush too much already. And I guess you know that people in here are more or less interested to make withdrawals with your all-caps ANONYMOUSLY.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should the libra project be halted? on: September 29, 2019, 02:06:19 AM
i haven't heard much about this coin lately, i even thought it has been halted already, though i would have love to see it continue, such big project like libra will have a massive impact on crypto, i mean, we could already see it in the past few days that the news came out, it was the talk of all social media which was also indirectly increasing the recognition of crypto because there was no mentioning of libra without crypto been mentioned.

And where have you been lately? This controversial project has been around and never left the peering eyes of the media. Before, the controversy stirred by this big project, was focused in the US only. And then it went as far as Europe and countries such as Germany, France, and others have said one or two remarks on it. Mostly, feedback from these governments are on the negative side, but then it has never been halted. There will be postponement for sure but a project as big as this will not just stop for good.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should the libra project be halted? on: September 28, 2019, 02:27:51 PM
1. If the reason is “cartel-like” ecosystem then maybe a kind of regulation has to be adopted to make sure there is no such potential. The possibility of monopoly is real since Libra is gathering together some of the richest companies in the world. It could affect free market and healthy competition. But there is no need to halt the project.

2. If the reason for halting is that the project is “based on relatively new and unproven technology,” and that cryptocurrencies are “uncertain and evolving”, this is not enough. It has already been demonstrated that cryptocurrencies and the technology that they represent are very viable in our modern world.

I cannot see a very valid reason why Libra project should be halted. The way I see it, this is their real reason:

Central banks, government ministers and watchdog chiefs have been lining up to demand more information on the project over fears it could pose a threat to central bank money and financial stability,

This is just an excuse of the fearful chiefs:

935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano now will able of recover the majority of previous Bear on: September 28, 2019, 02:01:32 PM

The present situation of the coin scarcely springs up any perplexity with respect to its developments. Truth be told, the coin has been reflecting extremely bullish moans since a week ago.
Talking about the energy of the coin, the coin has had the option to exhibit an amazing force by recuperating most of its past misfortunes.Believe it or not, ADA has now figured out how to be in the rundown of probably the most solid coins in the market at present.
Along these lines long haul financial specialists ought to consider putting resources into the coin as it certainly guarantees a superior benefit later on.

News Source: TheCoinRepublic

There is not even a word there that supports your title. You have made a long opening post and yet it does not have anything that will explain why Cardano will be able to recover from the majority of its loss in the previous bear.

Your news source is not a link nor an article. We cannot criticize nor support whatever it is that is written in there. But if its content is summarized by your OP, there is nothing special in there. Cardano may recover as the majority of other altcoins but I cannot say why it will make significant strides. Any altcoin needs new development to attract new investors.
936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NASA to Launch Bitcoin to the Moon? on: September 28, 2019, 01:31:43 PM
And all this time, we laugh at those who are asking "when moon?" LOL.  Grin

Telegram channels kick them as annoying. Admins ban them for asking such stupid question. Memes are harsh against them.

And now, what? Bitcoin is indeed going to the moon, after all.  Grin

NASA, when moooooon?
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is China ahead of US now in terms of digital adaptation? on: September 28, 2019, 01:21:50 PM
Thanks for your input I will be reading these articles.  Wink Yes, it is a vague idea we will see how it goes. Do you think US will tokenize their national currency too?

Those articles are very short and they are basically saying the same thing. That the Chinese government is not at all in a hurry to tokenize their national currency or that they do not have any timeline for it. In other words, this will come much later than what is being peddled in the news.

On your question, yes. But, again, this is going to happen at a much later time. But then we all know how the future of currency goes; it is going to be digital. So, if by tokenize means shifting into a digital currency, that will eventually happen all over the world.
938  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take advantage of this recent pull-back. on: September 28, 2019, 12:49:39 PM
Just might be the solution but you have to act fast.

What?! Really?! Is it that urgent to take the bait and click on the link?  Grin

It is true that crypto supporters, especially the newbies, should learn to take a pull-back as an opportunity to buy at a discounted price, but you don't have to say things as if your article is the one and only source of enlightenment people could have.

That is certainly the wrong way to catch naive fishes here!  Grin
939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be good for bitcoin if it will be regulated by the Goverment's on: September 28, 2019, 12:24:55 PM
^^^

I believe most of the regulations are bad. Take licensing for instance. You have a business that operates based on being honest and transparent. You have a nice big user base and suddenly there comes the government saying that you have to prove to them that you're fit to run the business. They want you to file a ridiculous amount of paperwork, you suddenly need to hire a lawyer because it's impossible for you alone to prepare all of it in time. You have to pay a fee on every step of the way... They are destroying your business and for what? Nothing. Licensed businesses also go bankrupt and also scam people. Bernie Madoff was licensed, and so was Jordan Belfort.

Is there any possible way for Bitcoin, for example, or cryptocurrency in general to become fully legal without undergoing regulations? If there is, that would be the best way. However, there seems none. Whether we like it or not, if we want crypto to be fully adopted as a main currency, going through regulations is the only way.

Regulations could really be good or bad. You are citing examples of the bad side of regulations. But it could also be good. It means accountability, for example. Or proper taxation, or security.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promote bounties for how good the projects are and not for reward on: September 28, 2019, 10:36:53 AM
it's actually their choice to promote whic bounty that they think worth and have a big chance to success. But for what u said i can't understand how to choose which bounty that have good or bad. It just gambling, it can be good at begin and ended with bad situation

There are a number of projects in the past that are good at the start, complete with everything, responsive to everyone's inquiries, active inside and outside this forum, great team, and all but ended as bad as the shitty ones.

I can still remember I was one of those who helped promote nousplatform through signature. I always check the project before I join them. That is my practice as I do not want to end up with nothing after all the efforts are done for several months. The project looked really great. They have a great team, they are joining roadshows, etc but still they ended up along with the failed projects. It is always hard to pick the right ones.
