What QR code are you guys talking about? Is the "V" in the logo a QR code? No smart phone here (gasp) so can't test myself, just curious, :p.
9242  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I asked Chipotel to accept Bitcoin... RESPONSE! on: June 05, 2013, 06:17:46 AM
It would have been a lot better if it said "we don't currently have plans, but..." Reading that seemed like an "we haven't even given it any thought, so good luck on anything happening anytime soon, if at all."

Thank you jasenlee,
It was for sure a nice idea.

Lawyer got the first one, we will see soon who gets the next Cheesy

If I can afford it I will do more in the future also.

Man, a tablet, that was really nice.  I wish I had known about it.  Thanks for the financial effort, really good idea.

Same. Found out why I didn't know, too... it was posted on an LTC forum. I don't follow that at all, :p.

acs26 needs a scammer tag! He stated he paid back 20 million BTC's but he only sent me 19,999,999. He's trying to scam me!

He didn't know he'd have to pay 1BTC in tx fees.

Or so he'd lead you to believe. After he sends my 20 millionth BTC I'll revoke my claims against him.

I have just sent you twenty 'BitBars' because of the delay. I am sorry that I couldn't have sent the 20 millionth BTC earlier.

I forgive you... this time. Thx u sir!

thanks, immediately pulled out all my cash. I dont know if this thing will work out or not, but if people get credits for $1,150,000 which they never deposited then something IS going wrong.

Where did you get this from?

Edit:  I see where now.

"3. Besides that is required an audit for the entire bitfinex platform,
the platform tempered/adjusted twice, first with mister Tang and was
credited from him 150.000 USD, that he didn't deposit in his account,
the second time when mister Devasini was credited one million dollars,
money that he didn't have deposited in his account. Because of this I
cannot be sure if the current losses are real or not."

Can someone from bitfinex please comment?

Is it just me or was that quote ridiculously confusing? I couldn't follow it, =S

Not sure what you mean by reward system. Right now you can treat the game like an investment if you wanted to. Buying hardware and getting coins and eventually hoping to sell the coins on the exchange and make back more money.I am also looking into a way to make the site and its purpose decentralized but this will be must later after i have other things in place first.

Been getting errors when loading the site so haven't been able to check it out.

So you mean that it's farming actual coins? I was under the impression it was just like a simulator game.

No it isnt actual coins. When I said investment i meant because one could simply buy virtual hardware and mine virtual coins with it. Then sell those coins on the exchange and in the end wind up with more BTC then you started with

Ah, got ya. I'm not seeing how the coins will have real value though if they aren't real ones. I think maybe I'm just realllllllly confused here. Is the entire thing just a game, or do you mean farming the fake coins and then trading them to other players for actual coins?

The coins arent real. Its fine if your confused as its my job to unconfuse(if thats a word) you haha. The entire thing is a game. You farm fake coins but can trade for actual coins for example BTC.

Ohh, I get it now. That answers the original question then too (whether this was a game where we can earn actual rewards). Any info on when the site/game should be up to see how it all works? Atm still getting the error 500.

Maybe it's not a mistake and Microsoft are secretly developing some adult gaming for later lolololool Cheesy

A new form of "live cams?" Where you create your own character and then the things you do in RL affect what your character does...

Interesting idea for a sex game...

If you get this resolved I'd love to hear how it is done as well. Working on related projects right now.
If the author of the script agrees  will share.

Sounds great. Thanks! Also, expect a pm from me in the next day or two. Want to talk to you about something, Smiley.
9256  Economy / Lending / Re: .005 btc loan to post loan on coinlenders on: June 04, 2013, 09:18:23 PM
lol, I love that he's asking for a loan when the first thing anyone should notice is the red negatives and the scammer notice.

Thank god for it!

Very true. Up until this thread I had no idea there even was such a thing.
9257  Economy / Lending / Re: Pawn your forum accounts! BTC Loans using your forum account as collateral! on: June 04, 2013, 08:48:44 PM
What could happen:

> Gets your forum account > Doesn't give it back

Yep, thats probably as worse as it gets, but you forget that I would loose out on some of the loan if I done that.
  > If you use your password for your Email also, could crack your email > If you use a similar password could crack

You change you PW before giving me it

    > Could scam others through your account > Then give it back

Don't pay back the loan then
       > Could mess up your reputation

Don't pay back the loan then
            > Could say you never payed back the loan, thus giving you a 'tag'.
Repayment address will be confirmed beforehand, simply PM a mod and tell him to check the PM's and he'll see that a payment arrived to that address

<>            > Could read your P.Ms, thus getting knowledge about you (If you P.M users with your: Other names on forums or sites, real name, address, etc.) and could use it to 'DoX' you.
Delete them before you send me your account

<>              > Could possibly crack your wallet, thus stealing your BitCoins.
<>            > Could possibly crack your AltCoin wallets, thus stealing them.
So could anyone, why would this be easier to do with your forum account?

<>        > He says he's buying accounts [Newbie Section] and he could possibly sell yours, since you're allowed to do so.

I probably could. I won't though and if I do, simply do not pay back the loan.

<>        > Could possibly hack or crack your accounts on other forums or sites, and hold it 'ransom'.

If you change your PW then how can I do this?

I'll be honest... this seems fishy but I highly doubt it has anything to do with getting your passwords for other things. It'd be stupid to share the pass you actually use right now, lol. I've done many account loans (usually games to friends) and always reset them to a simple one like "friendshare" or something. I don't see why anyone WOULDN'T do that.

The most prolific author over the last month was Lawyer:
http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=wiki:user:lawyer

who wrote 76,832 words:
https://raw.github.com/Unthinkingbit/charity/master/devtome_10001.csv

so he gets the tablet:
https://forum.litecoin.net/index.php/topic,2702.msg19779.html#msg19779

the lotto ranges for the remaining writers are at:
https://raw.github.com/Unthinkingbit/charity/master/lotto.csv

the next megamillions draw:
http://www.megamillions.com/numbers/

will be on Tuesday night, so the lottery winner will be declared on Wednesday.

CONGRATS!  Please pm me your delivery address when you get a chance.

wow, that's great, I had no idea there was a prize for 1st.  Anybody know how many shares were in round 24 - my gut feeling is around 900?  Looks like a lot of new writers and also much more writing than in round 23.  The word is getting out for sure.....and fast.  TIA

It was a separate contest I ran actually Cheesy

Apparently I missed out on a lot of things: shares increased from 60 to 80 max, rollover being added, a contest, lol.

I'd have had that if I knew about the changes, :p. I was told that posting more than 60k would not benefit because there would be no rollover into the next month, and 60 shares was the max.

Oh well, grats!

I Ran it independently. Had nothing to do with dvc directly.

Oh, it's fine! I haven't kept up so much lately as I've been working on a dvc-related project myself, ^_^. More info will be shared "soon." I think in a couple days, assuming everything works as I hope.

A certification of authenticity for documents that is valid internationally.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostille_Convention

Also, I'm far from a Gox fan, but one of the things they have gotten right (for me) is wire transfers (last time around it took about 16 hours in and 48 hours out).

Ah, thanks! That's a new term for me. I didn't even know there were ways to verify documents internationally!
