9241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I created my own coin now what ? on: August 07, 2015, 11:58:02 AM
No, it will not have any effect to the crypto world, only to its personal bitcoin stake, since he paid for something that will not have value at all.

congratz. you just destroy crypto wolrd slowly. you create coin with no innovation, no real asset, no community suport you.
9242  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it a good idea to buy bitcoins now ? will bitcoin go up or down in next 2-3 y on: August 07, 2015, 11:55:26 AM
if you really want to risk some money for Bitcoins then you should buy now, or at least before the next halving in July 2016.

9244  Economy / Services / Re: I need someone to help me create a cryptocurrency like dogecoin on: August 07, 2015, 10:38:37 AM
0.075 or BTC0.75 ? if first holds, you will not find someone who makes all the required work for you. 0.75 is okay.
But i predict that you will need more help, just setting up the coin on a server will not be enough.
My advice: Stop the idea to create a coin! Wink

Hi there, i want to create a cryptocurrency, but i dnt have the knowledge,
I will pay for it, i was tryng http://coincreator.net/ but i want my coin like dogecoin with no limit of blocks created. they dnt have this on their options and they dnt reply my email,

i will pay 0.075btc or you can make me another offer, im not a scammer, i will pay for sure or we can arrange escrow or something,
I also need the wallet with my logo like that site coincreater do.

i also have a ubuntu server, were u need to install the deamon,

so 0.75btc
create the cryptocurrency same as dogecoin, no limit blocks created.

configurate the ubuntu server so can run the deamon

you will not keep any coins, so if u get some u need to return to me.

if u have the knowledge please reply this post or send me a pm

All centralized exchange could be a scamming site. That's why you should trade only on decentralized exchange like the Nxt Asset Exchange or on Counterparty.
9246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I created my own coin now what ? on: August 07, 2015, 10:08:54 AM
Sry, double post.
9247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I created my own coin now what ? on: August 07, 2015, 10:07:38 AM
Yeap, the specs are pointing to a creation by coincreator. i hope you have created the coin for learning issues only, not for a serious payment option. Otherwise, you will fail without the knowledge you are asking for Wink
9248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should the Deepwebs adopt Monero [XMR]? on: August 07, 2015, 09:46:49 AM
You can not say the deepnet should use or accept Monero. The deepnet is not a central organization but a sum of many many people with own interests. There are a lot of them which already accept coins like DASH, or even some who accept Shadow. if they get convinced that Monero is a good and secure payment option then they will accept it from time to time.
9249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ■Thinking different for Ethereum & NXT - Its the platform, not the coin itself!■ on: August 07, 2015, 09:42:51 AM
Yeap, this is exactly what i think, too. A coin without a strong blockchain platform will not survive. The blockchain platform will be the key to success. The coin should be seen as a additional feature and reward system not as a "core" feature of a platform.
9250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | POS | Assets | Names | Polls | Automated Transactions | Social Network on: August 07, 2015, 09:38:23 AM
i came up with an idea today when i was watching the news about Saudi blogger Rafi Badwani. The blogging and social network functions of Qora are working very well. They are ideal tools for bloggers from countries where freedom of expression is suppressed or where blogging services are not reachable. it would be a win-win situation. The bloggers would be more save and Qora gets better public promotion. But how could we reach such bloggers? Should we contact the people from wikileaks?
9251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2016 and WHY on: August 07, 2015, 09:29:52 AM
i would get out of Horizon and get into Qora. Why? Qora has unique tech, a functional fast decentralized blogging and social network feature including a search engine / web directory. Further, the coin offers AT. Not many coins do that. For all the tech it offers, the price is totally undervalued, compared to other POS coins like NXT, NEM or HZN.
9252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: SPC - SpikesPrivateCoin - Yobit - Rare coin - 50K Coins on: August 07, 2015, 09:18:32 AM

Overstock CEO Uses Bitcoin Tech to Spill Wall Street Secret   THE GLOBAL STOCK Market spans about $101 trillion in financial securities. And at any given moment, about $1.7 trillion is out on loan. Hedge funds, mutual funds, and other traders don’t just buy and sell stock.

9254  Bitcoin / Press / [2015-08-07] Japanese court rules bitcoin not worthy of legal protections on: August 07, 2015, 09:09:40 AM
A Japanese court came to a surprising conclusion, ruling that bitcoin is not a tangible property worthy of legal protection, which stands in contrast to rulings in the United States and elsewhere which have determined that bitcoin is a valuable commodity worthy of legal protections.

9255  Economy / Economics / Re: Only 40.000 People use Bitcoin? on: August 06, 2015, 07:56:48 PM
Yeap, agree! You can not simply take the addresses from one provider in order to conclude how many people Bitcoin use. There are some more. My guess is that there are around at least 500k users.

This number is just for blockchain.info and there are also many more wallet services so it's just a rough estimate of bitcoin users.
It can never be found that how much users use bitcoins.
And I'm having electrum which gave me around 25 addresses when I started using it and I'm using more than half of those right now.
9256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FlappyCoin - PoS Released - 6/29 - Need Counterparty Fork - 4btc on: August 06, 2015, 07:52:32 PM
Me either. it seems that the nodes are not working at all. do someone has another node list?

Any 4.0.2.1 nodes available?

Not connecting to anything.

FLAP FLAP FLAP?

Node list from the chainz block explorer

addnode=104.238.169.132
addnode=173.244.96.195
addnode=173.244.96.68
addnode=173.81.241.136
addnode=64.146.216.111
addnode=67.172.138.210

All nodes added successfully within the wallet.  However, I still have 0 connections and no block source.

9259  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what do you think about xapo.com on: August 06, 2015, 06:49:12 PM
it's legit but you have to provide deep personal information to make transactions or buy bitcoins. cell phone and adress verification.
9260  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-08-05] Vermont Considering Blockchain Tech for State Records, Smart Contra on: August 06, 2015, 03:36:51 PM
NewBTC also reported about it.
http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/08/06/vermont-considering-to-employ-blockchain-to-manage-state-records/

i like the idea to put such stuff like public accessible records into the blockchain instead using cloud spaces etc. i hope more states will follow this way.
