Bitcoin isn't SCAM, definitely! Why? There is no owner of bitcoin, no bank or company etc. It's just virtual currency based on revolutionary technology and there is no owner. So, if nobody is owner or control it, you can't call it scam. We all invest here with hope that bitcoin will be great success but it's our own decision, nobody forced us to invest here.

It's obvious that there is no real political freedom or democracy in China. Western people are free to go there like tourists or free to invest in some business but if they dare to criticize internal freedom in China, or express opinion about democracy in China, they are not allowed to enter China any more. Even Western politicians are very careful when they talk about China, trying not to make Chinese upset with their words and jeopardize trade or political relationship with China. So, reasonable requests from inhabitants of Tibet for freedom and democracy are ignored because of the economic interests of the great powers and because of profit. It's sad but it's reality unfortunately.

It's sad reality, unfortunately, that there is no real freedom or democracy in such countries like China or Russia. People are free to work or start business but not free to express their political viewpoint or criticize government. It's sad that there is no real pressure from outside, USA, EU, UN that China policy change and allow real political freedom in public, media etc. China is to important trade partner so it's best not to make them angry about some talks about freedom and democracy ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Political interest is always more important that democracy and freedom.

I apologize in advance if someone else already started a similar thread, I did a quick search but couldn't any. To the mods out there please delete this thread if a similar one already exists. I just thought I'd inform people who are not necessarily following the price movement as this is a pretty sizable increase from ~$580 a few hours ago. Wonder how high we'll reach this time ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) That's excellent sounds; Bitcoin starts to show their power and future. Maybe with this situation, the bitcoin price will exceed $900 or more. bitcoin is a good investment. Right now it looks that Bitcoin is a very good investment but this trend can change also and price of bitcoin can go down again. It's like in the real market, and BTC price depends on supply and demand. It's not realistic that BTC price will go only up, but we have to see long term vision behind it and not to sell BTC in panic when trend change and price starts to go down again.

It's true for me. When I heard first time about Bitcoin, friend suggested me to come on this forum and register in order to learn more about Bitcoin. In my country we didn't have forums, blogs or websites dedicated to bitcoin so Bitcointalk was perfect solution for me to learn about Bitcoin.

Ime Udruge 2. Područje djelovanja (Bitcoin, virtualne valute, blok-lanac tehnologije, digital assets...) 3. Organizacijska struktura (centralizirana / decentralizirana) 4. Načini odlučivanja i komunikacijski kanali 5. I don't think this is realistic possibility. Even USSR was smart enough not to start real war because of their ideological and political conflict with the west (cold war). Putin know very well that in WW III there will be no winner, only losers. Western politicians knows this very well to so current conflicts will be solved in peaceful way, without direct confrontation. If Western world really wanted to start open war with Russia, they could do it already a few times, because of Ukraine, Georgia etc. It will not happen.

OK, first you are thinking about leaving EU. After that, you may leave NATO. What is next? Leave UN, World bank etc. I know that UK is island and they always was separated, in some way, from European continent but they should understand that they can't be political or economic island as well. Where UK will sell their products? Who will protect them from Russia? What Scotland will do if UK leave EU? Isolation is not solution and only creates more problems.

Personally, I don't think that something like this will ever happen. If this really happen, well, life will not stop because of this. I will forget about this story and move on, try with some other virtual currencies.

I would sell all my Bitcoins if... this will be enough to close my loan in the bank and quit my regular job! After that,. i will enjoy my life, travel around the world and will have relax life. Of course such scenario is still dream, not reality but who knows? When I see how Microsoft or FB started, everything is possible.

Peace be upon you guys, I know there a so many point of view, exactly each person have a different opinion. But now, can you guys sharing your opinion about 2 things? First, what is your life purpose? Second, What do you think about die? What will happening when we die? The last is, Why are we life in this world? Dont insult each other, show respect for each perspective. Thank you ~ ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Life purpose is to be happy and fulfill 3 God's blessings for humankind (Gen 1:28): To be fruitful, multiply and have dominion over creation. After our second death, we move to the spiritual world (after we prepared in this world for it, because in sp. world we breathe love, not air). When we born it's our first death, because we move from one world where we live in the water to other world, where we live on earth and breath air (so also in our first world we have to prepare for rebirth in the second world or we wouldn't be able to breath ad live). If we don't prepare well in this second world we wouldn't be able to breath ad live in the third world, because only air there is love. We live in this world in order to prepare and mature for life in eternity, in spiritual world, together with our Heavenly Father, God.

They made really big new about it, that they finally caught main boss in this criminal group and one of the world’s most-wanted people smugglers ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) If they caught wrong man, it's really big mistake and scandal and someone should be responsible for it. Also, in this case, innocent man is in the prison, his reputation and life is ruined and police is responsible for it. If he find good lawyer, I'm sure that he will get a lot money.

And here we are again ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Nobody can answer this question. It can be even group of people or organization behind this name, we don't know. For me personally, much more important question is what we can do with Bitcoin? Can Bitcoin change our lives? How? I'm sure that founder of Bitcoin have very good reasons to hide his identity. So, let's focus on Bitcoin and more productive things.

There are approximately 182 million Pakistanis, and the one this story pertains to is not a refugee.
You are right. Number of children in some society is not directly connected with the number of refugees. Political and economic situation, in some country, influence people much more than number of their children. If people are desperate and have no choices (no jobs or security), they will eventually decide to become refuges and to go to some other country. For the most people number of children is not issue but blessing.

Women are mostly emotional beings, not rational. Just words will not convince them. Show them some concrete results (show me the money!) and they will become inspired ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I can confirm that, in this way, I inspired my wife about Bitcoin.

Well, interesting statement. Of course, it will be much more easy to spread bitcoin if we use it and inspire others to use BTC to. But, in other hand, in many countries there are not so much Bitcoin users, no so much merchants which accept BTC, no so much places where users can spend their BTC funds etc. You can't force people to spend Bitcoin if they don't have many choices for it. We all should have freedom to decide what we will do.

I don't think that this statement is correct. It will be better to say that some atheists hate some believers because of their evil actions in the past or now. It's the same when some say: ''I hate woman' or ''I hate America'' or something like this. You can't hate whole group of people because of some general, unclear idea behind. It's better focus on concrete events or people and than judge it. After all, I know many atheists which love religious people, and even live happily in marriage for decades ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Debt is digits. You can delete or create digits.
It's not simple like that. Someone, some bank or financial institution gave this money to other country, company or individual. If they can't pay their loan it means bank or financial institution have to accept financial lost. Many such lost can even cause collapse of the bank or its bankruptcy. So, debt is never digit on the screen, it's much more. Because of such situations, banks are very careful with their loans and high risk countries have bigger interest on loans than more stable countries. Credit rating agencies also play an important role in protecting the banks and financial institutions from unexpected financial losses and provide an assessment of the financial risk for each country and company in the world.

Everyone would like the bitcoin is accepted in all online and real stores and, as as mentioned in the title, what would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency?
It depends if Bitcoin will be accepted just in one country or worldwide. It's hard to say because we still didn't have such experience but I guess it means that we will be able to use bitcoin as secondary, official currency, for buying/selling things, many merchants will accept Bitcoin, we will have many more Bitcoin aTM's, bitcoin debit cards etc. I'm sure that banks will also offer bitcoin or find the way to even offer loans in Bitcoin.
