9242  Economy / Speculation / Re: Still don't believe BTC can reach 5K, then 10K and then 50K? on: August 12, 2017, 11:37:16 PM
$5000? Easy. I believe we can reach this point in next few months. $10000? Possible, but maybe only after few years. Something meaningful must happen to reach such high price. $50000? Now I don't believe that we can't reach it. Let's be more realistic, 50k sounds only as a dream.

It depends what you mean when you say "5k". Because it already crossed over 5k in many currencies, only maybe not USD and GBP as of yet. Wink
Offcourse he means USD Smiley
9243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HBO is trying to get $250,000 in bitcoin to pay hackers who stole GoT scripts on: August 12, 2017, 11:29:26 PM
It's hard decision for HBO to choose to pay ransom. Hackers will reach what they wanted and they can continue to do these bad activities. But anyway, $250 000 is not that big money for HBO, if we look how much they earn from Game of Thrones. And if hacked scripts will be released in public, losses may be much bigger.
And I don't think that this bad publicity can affect bitcoin in negative side. It just means that many bitcoins will move in to bad hands.
And it's serious warning for HBO and other companies to to protect their property better

9247  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: License for exchange service on: August 10, 2017, 11:37:43 PM
I want to create an Exchange (where users will be able to buy cryptocurrency with fiat money).
I have a question about licenses - what do I need? I'm from Russia, a company's offshore.
You want to be licensed in Russia? If yes, there are some problems about it. They are strictly against websites which registered outside Russia, especially offshore companies. I think your company should be registered in Russia to get license. But I recommend to contact lawyer for consultation. People on forum saying only what they heard and sometimes information can be not 100% accurate. It always good idea to contact professional of his sphere.
9248  Economy / Exchanges / Re: XAPO or...? on: August 10, 2017, 11:29:02 PM
I see you asked about taxes but nobody answered about it. Well, verythings depends on your country laws. If there will be movement of big amounts of btc through your card, I'm sure that institution of taxes can ask for declaration and you will have to provide how do you get these btc. Probably, you will have to pay income tax. Debit card isn't anonymous, Xapo is working in EU jurisdiction and financial regulations is quite stric there.
Anyway, I recommend you to study information about regulations of btc and taxes of income to avoid any problems in future.

Melovin.site isn't working for me. After visiting url shortener, I just get error and no reward. I believe there is problem with url shortener which you are using. Could you check it?
9250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: August 10, 2017, 10:54:12 PM
Draw for the group stages will be on August 24, 2017.  That's around two weeks away more or less.  This is something me and my cousins look forward to and get drunk on while watching because some of the draws are really up for laughs.  Especially Arsenal.  If they get the same group as Bayern again I would be soooo happy!  Cheesy

And I hope Liverpool makes it.

But Bayern can't be in same group as Arsenal this year because... Arsenal will play in Europa League group stage. Gunners finnished only 5th in EPL last season. And anyway, these teams almost never face each other in group stage. Bayern were getting this oponent in 1/8 or 1/4 final. Before getting drung, it would be good to check facts Cheesy
9251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I spent 3 BTC after fork but before claiming it's BCC on: August 10, 2017, 12:25:46 AM
Hello,

I haven't claimed my cash from my Electrum wallet till now because i heard all of cash's wallets are suspicious to steel our Privekeys.

After fork i spent 3 BTC from my Electrum wallet, Did my 3 BCC go away by those transactions?

Can i claim my 3 BCC now?
No, your BCC remain on your wallet, only BTC moved. These coins have different chains and they can interact between themselves.
If you afraid to use Electron Cash, I advice to use Coinomi. It's safe and reliable wallet for smartphones. Another trusted wallet where you can take your Bitcoin Cash is BTC.com. But I'm not sure that they allows to import private keys.
9252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM locations on a rapid increase... on: August 10, 2017, 12:20:29 AM
In my location, number of bitcoin ATM's doubled in last few months. There was only one ATM and now we have two.
But I'm not sure who are using these ATM's. Their fees makes them uncompetitive to use.
And OP, where did you get these stats, please give source.
9253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 10, 2017, 12:05:32 AM
Wonder what kind of dump or panic will happen when poloniex will release their 60000 bcc... (down to hell?)

And why do you think everyone will sell their BCC?, in fact I believe at most only 10k will be sold, rest will keep it as an hedge ,

Both poloniex and coinbase have stated they have not decided if they will allow buying or trading of BCH

So far all we know is they will allow you to withdraw to a wallet I dont know how this will affect things since a lot of people just keep their coins in coinbase instead of a paper/haedware or other wallet

The coinbase people can just transfer their BCC to another exchange wallet. I don't think coinbase will block a transfer if the address you transfer to is an exchange wallet or your own personal wallet.
No, they can't. Coinbase so far didn't credited BCH to their users. Coinbase announced that they will start to support Bitcoin Cash only in January. People who where holding bitcoins on Coinbase during fork, now have to wait until they will be able to claim their BCH.
9254  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How to run a successful Bitcoin faucet on: August 09, 2017, 11:59:57 PM
I advice to not use Faucetfly. It's problematic and not popular service. Anyway, you can switch to Faucethub or Faucetsystem and continue to host faucet on Faucetfly.
But my advice is to buy hosting and domain, download faucet script and use Faucethub service. When people see Faucetfly name, they skip such faucet. Also, not many ad networks will approve faucet hosted on Faucetfly.
9255  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What is the best micropayment middleman for earners? on: August 09, 2017, 11:53:42 PM
Why not to use both Faucethub and Faucetsystem? Yes, Faucethub is leader, majority of faucets using this service, and Faucethub have many extra features. But on Faucetsystem also have great faucets. I recommend to use both this services if you want to maximize earnings. And forget about Faucetfly and Faucet-pay. First one is problematic and have bad reputation, and faucet-pay was made by epay.info scammers.
9256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I just won $20 worth bitcoin on: August 09, 2017, 02:25:05 PM
Dude, you are posting in wrong place. You need to post in this thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1850855.0
It was made to share big winnings at freebitco.in. Previously they were giving bonus to people who share proofs of winnings, I don't think that this promotion is still active.
And congratulations for your winning. 20$ for free is great prize.
9257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone experience with Bitcoin Generator? on: August 09, 2017, 02:21:24 PM
It's obvious scam, made for naive fools and unexperienced newbies. After website will "generate" bitcoins, they will ask to deposit some btc as transaction fee, to receive btc. But after depositing bitcoins, you wont get your generated bitcoins.
P.S. others are saying a bit wrong information. This "generator" is online tool and you don't have to download anything. So, at least, your PC wont be inffected with malware.
9258  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo kicked out because of twice wrong ID verification on: August 08, 2017, 11:30:32 PM
If you really want to be safe of your bitcoin better to use electrum for safety of your bitcoin than using online wallet like other said its not safe because you don't have any backup private keys for your bitcoin address..
I'v sended to support and i get a sad answer;-

Quote
Dear,

Thank you for providing the information and supporting documentation we requested from you. After completing our review, Xapo has determined that we are unable to provide our services to your account. This decision is based on multiple factors utilized in our screening process, though for security reasons we are not able to provide specific details.

We will be required to close your Xapo account. If you have more than 55 bits (0.000055 BTC) in your account, then please reply to this message so we can open your account within 24 hours for you to move your funds out of Xapo!

Regards,
The Xapo Team

accourding of me XAPO is worthless!

I have found an alternates (web wallet with supporting debit cards)

  • SpectroCoin
  • Cryptopay
  • Wirex
  • Uquid
  • Bitwala

And more? or which one of them is the best?
Its not worth to use spectrocoin base on other reviews that site is scam..
And only uquid base on my experience using their debit card i don't experience any problem to them also test the wirex since its not working in some merchant i switch to uquid ..

Spectrocoin isn't scam. I'm using this service for two years and haven't faced any bigger issues. When I had minor problems, their support helped to solve it. And I'm not sure that these scam accusations against Spectrocoin are real. Few users claiming that they been scammed by Spectrocoin and lost huge amount of bitcoins. But shortly after making accusations these users didn't come back to forum to try get their bitcoins back.
9259  Other / Off-topic / Re: What country do a majority of scammers seem to come from? on: August 08, 2017, 12:00:34 AM
I don't want to mention certain countries, because there are lot of scammers in majority of countries can be found. I would like to divide types of scamming by countries. If we talk about 3rd world countries, many people are making scams here to earn for a living. They creating unprofessional investment schemes, extorting money and scamming people by selling stuff without having it.
If we talk about average and rich countries, basically, scammers are doing same things, but more professional and at bigger scale. Here people are trying not just to earn money, but earn for luxurious living.
9260  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any way to send small bits without big fees on: August 07, 2017, 11:11:12 PM
It's not many things what you can do to avoid high fees for small transactions. Some wallets like Xapo and Coinbase offers free off-chain transactions. But, your recipient have to use that wallet. And I'm not sure that you can send such small amounts there.
Another option, you can send small payments by using Faucethub API. But again, your recipient has to be user of this service.
