I have heard several terms used to describe Bitcoin and altcoins. Digital currency, cryptocurrency, and my least favorite virtual currency. Do you feel the connotations associated with each of these terms paint Bitcoin in a particular light?
For example I feel mainstream media tend to use the term virtual currency in an attempt to associate cryptocurrency with a sense of "it's not a real thing".
Whether intentional or not I think each of these terms will invoke a different response from a crypto layman depending on which term is used. Or does it not really matter in your opinion? Thoughts?
I don't use the word "virtual" referring to Bitcoin,it's real money to me I can withdraw it buy a lot of stuffs offline,for me virtual connotes not real when in fact they are much real and had impact on millions of people I prefer to call it crypto currency. |

I tried their automatic process twice and they gave me different bitcoin address, I checked post request etc I felt it was a good website. They gave me a tracking number which never appeared to be valid, they don't answer to email. Their website is well done posting fake transaction, btc price updating etc. Help me to find the owner ! They have a good set of webmaster for their site to land in the first page,just by posting it here people will now know that they are scammers with proofs,since Bitcointalk is very reputable site and always land on the first page on any queries about altcoin and bitcoin topics. |

This is a very interesting topic I too have a similar experience losing a wallet.dat I just don't try to recover it since I only had a few coins on it,what I do is to always create a duplicate in my cloud storage,but I also would like to know how to recover your wallet.dat if you accidentally or not delete it..

I read from one coin thread that one guy shilling for this and he was blamed when it became scam,I think this is not right if you invest in a coin or you are in their signature campaign,you should not blame them if it turns to scam site,you are just an investors and signature campaigner,
What is wrong is if you continue to promote it even if it is proven scammer.

I read that investors can easily get their coin as soon as you deposit,well that is good but that does not mean that this coin is 100% scam free,I don't like posting on newby launched moderated thread because I have experienced that they are deleting post if you asked sensitive question or give you opinion about the lack of features and depth of their coin.,
The dev should have first do a research here why newbie launched coin should not be moderated.

Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
There are a lof videos on Youtube that explains what is Bitcoin and it's functions to layman but you also need to include how internet works and about how money works in our daily life.. A good articles for newbies about Bitcoin can also help teenagers and children how bitcoin works. |

Why do we need a bank,if a company set up a bitcoin bank,users will be subjected to a lot of verification,which is not the in accordance to the theory of Bitcoin,by running a bitcoin wallet in our computer we or our computer become a bank itself I do not agree that we should have a crypto bank..

They are properly marketer,they have twitter campaign,facebook marketing and signature campaign and they just implement their new scheme for investors,with so many scam ico going ,they thought Icobid is one of them but if you look at their roadmap they are a good project to invest.. You are lucky to have that amount I read from their Ico that it is 1 bitcoin to 1000 BCC so tyhat 1000 BCC is worth 1 bitcoin,how did you get that amount? Yes vI ry professional like creating a moderated thread so he can delete posts that accuses him instead of defending. And then fire someone in the public. At least the dev needs to be resolving the problem with his campaign manager.  A lot of the other was failing because of this mistake. Self-moderated is not good at all. About campaign: we found two good candidates, we're evaluating them right now. About moderation: So far we had no problems of censorship, as you can see even Jamal has free speech rights on here. For this reason moving to an unmoderated thread is not a real issue, we should only coordinate with SebastianJu, our escrow, so he can post again his disclaimer as reply to the main ANN. If he is available we can do that later today. Is there an alternative way we don't know about, for example asking to an admin to un-moderate ? You can create a new thread although not advisable,anyway all this things will be bury after we achieve goal for CGC PROJECT I'm still going to wait for the new campaign to relaunch I'm sure it's going to be worth the way. |
