9261  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: is there any demand for Bitmex or binance verified accounts? on: November 02, 2020, 05:24:02 PM
I think you are the guys that are asking freelancers to have a picture selfie with specimen signatures offering fake jobs or no jobs at all. You're all taking those important information including the ID and image of those poor people that you are fooling hoping that there is something for them to have. I've read that kind of trick in freelancing groups and mostly targeting newbie freelancers that have no idea if it's legit or not.
Stop doing it, if you don't own it, just don't own it and stop selling those accounts for your own gain.

I see this tactics to and feel pity to those person who got victimize by those schemes since they didn't now their identities has been sell off over the internet.

And for OP better stop those acts if that verified accounts came from those freelancers or other source since it's really bad idea to earn by that doing, I believe karma will hunt you down so better not to think about selling that.
That's what my assumption is because I've been seeing those posts on FB and those victims are truly innocent and have no idea what the job is all about. But when I'm started to think why those "clients" are asking for that selfie id during the application, the comments have shared the same thought of it being a scam. And this is one of the possible use for those scammers why they're asking for it immediately and they'll vanish once the victim has turned in their selfie id.

Damn, kyc should be stricted on their process so these guys wouldnt do stupidity like this.
There is no way for them to identify if a user is just faking the KYC and its information. As long as they get a selfie id and few details about that person and the image is clear, they will approve it.
9262  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin the best reserve asset? on: November 02, 2020, 04:23:43 PM
Someone who's going to answer it will answer depending on his bias. A bitcoin investor will answer it's the best asset, a realtor and real estate investor will say that it's the best asset and the rest with gold and other investment instruments. IMO, it's best to have at least 2-3 of those investments and you should include bitcoin as part of your diversified investments. As for the comparison of bank deposits and bitcoin, clearly, we have the winner between the two. Money in the bank for years will have lesser purchasing value if you just deposit it. But if you put it as an investment, you only gain a very low interest annually. Whilst in bitcoin, despite the risk that you'll take and it's quite high, it's very rewarding.
9263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Normal Game Setup - a success or a failure? on: November 01, 2020, 08:11:08 PM
Its a success as long as both players and the fans felt the same excitement of the game. Even during these times of adjustments things need to continue especially the sports industry as long as health all protocols are followed games are good to continue.
We did. But there were fans that are not satisfied with the setup that management did for the sake of everyone. Sports that came back even with the pandemic did it correctly with all standards and protocols that have been followed. Let's all be happy that we did managed to see sporting events even it's hard to go outside and the virus has been around in our surroundings that we can't even see. What I'm waiting for is the coming back of those events with live audiences, I'm sure that many fans won't miss that when everything goes back to normal.

9265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Supporting Illegal Coin (XIAN COIN) on: November 01, 2020, 06:09:12 PM
He's telling with confidence that his coin is going to go up in value without any doubt. If someone is interested of investing on it, think how you will accept the possible losses. The scheme that his coin has is obviously we are aware of. But instead of being cautious, people are not doing it because they are listening to how good he talks. It is sad to see a lot of our countrymen are hopeful with his words but we know that anytime he can just vanish as he's only present in social media. I've unfollowed long time ago. There were a lot of posts that I've seen that he's deleting those people that are exposing him on his own comment section. And even those people that he owe money, he even made a deal but I've read also someone that this guy has audacity to make conditions even if he's the one that owes money to those people or else he won't pay them. To investors, choose a better crypto such as bitcoin, it's accessible and easier to buy it and much more secured.
9266  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breached $14k today on: October 31, 2020, 11:12:47 PM
I didn't noticed that it actually broken $14k barrier for a quick time. I've missed witnessing it but we're having a safe haven to $13,800. Although this isn't the support and we have lower than that but this shows that any higher price can be met soon.

Great we are now breaking into $14K mark so are we going to continue on climbing or are we going to go down soon?
Just always be open with the possibility of correction and vice versa.

Do you think that it would stay at $14K or would it be just the same as it did on $13K it would climb up faster?
We have to wait until it retest and stays on $14k for a longer time just like what it did on $11k and $12k. The slower the better.
9267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do your own research before opting-in on: October 31, 2020, 09:53:49 PM
Looks like it is a pattern i am talking about the big trends and connection to bull runs. Last time back in 2016-17 there was huge trend of icos where billions were invested and then a huge bull run and this time we had defi boom so looks like next big bull run is just getting started now.
That's the pattern if we're going to compare it back then. And you can see that the effect took already when bitcoin reaches $13,000 and likely to cross $14,000 anytime soon. Back then, there were a lot of scam ICOs that got out after the bull run so it was around 2018. Today, likely the small bullish turn hasn't ended but the Defi projects are becoming more and turning to scam. OP is right that every bounty hunter must check and validate first the bounty and the project itself before joining.
9268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashless gaming now available in land-based casino in USA on: October 31, 2020, 08:55:04 PM
I also don't understand if establishments like casino are thinking of the contact through plain cash, why they just don't wear the gloves? I have this thought in my mind but anyway, safety is safety and it's the most important to most physical casinos and other establishments that don't have any other option of payment but with cash. The adoption of crypto for physical casinos, don't think of it anytime soon. We have online crypto casinos that are dedicated on this and they have their base users and customers that prefer what they offer.

Wearing gloves is not enough as the virus can travel thru air. So going cashless is only one option to reduce the possible transfer of the virus. Though they can't implement full cashless yet as many patrons are still fiat users. This is the advantage of crypto casinos, gamblers can play at the comfort of their home touching only their gadgets or computers.
It can travel through air and contact through droplets. But what I'm thinking, to lessen the contact to the virus with hands or money, gloves should be the protection that we have for every establishment or every time we go out. But what I can't understand is they are not giving the emphasis of wearing gloves but only face mask and face shields. Anyway, the cashless system through operating casinos shall be for good. And we will never know if it's the door that's going to open for them to think about crypto but as I've said, not that too soon.
9269  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC tx accelerator works really? on: October 31, 2020, 07:54:01 PM
I wonder if antpool's accelerator still working though, didnt use it for a long time now.
IIRC, I just tried to use it a few months ago but it doesn't seem to work anymore. Viabtc is still the best accelerator for me that's free to use. I always get to accelerate with viabtc and that's why I'm paying the fee a bit higher than what they are requiring for them to accelerate one transaction.

viabtc usually never works when the network is congested Grin.
It works for me even if the network is congested. It's actually a life saver if there's a lot of unconfirmed transaction, you only need to be quick when you accelerate because there are other users who are also waiting to be accelerated through viabtc and you need to be faster than them.
9270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: October 31, 2020, 05:54:51 PM
WTF!! what did those around that police do, why didn't anyone try to stop the bleeding that hit the policeman?  It took 45 - 60 minutes for humans to die from bleeding out of the blood, it seems that the alertness of his friends and the hospital is very slow.
The injury was severe based from op and it's the femoral artery. I'm not an expert in human body and nerves but it seems that because of the sharp blade, that cut his part and ended his life quickly. While looking for some articles how vital and important that part is, it says that it's one of the major arteries in our body. (https://www.healthline.com/human-body-maps/femoral-artery)
Damaging or cutting it will actually lead to a very fatal result that we're not expecting as quick as it is.
9271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: October 30, 2020, 11:48:07 PM
No offense but how does this news become related to gambling and cryptocurrency in general?

Exactly, but we can somehow relate this to crypto gambling by discussing how we can promote "online cock-fighting" betting that are also available for crypto betting.
It can be related to gambling in general but in crypto, there's no relation. I haven't seen any online cockfight that accepts crypto. But I see online cockfights that are only accepting fiat I am not sure if they are permitted although cockfight is allowed in some parts but that's only in physical arenas not online.
IIRC, online casinos that are based in our country still has problems in operation due to government rules. Btw, rest in peace to the police officer. They will take safety precaution next time if they are about to raid again in the future.

And now they won't be playing that game anymore since someone died and it was on the part of the authorities.
No, but they will only continue and would look for another place that's hidden.
9272  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: withdraw freebitco.in trouble, whether freebitco.in a scam? on: October 30, 2020, 10:54:08 PM
----
To be fair with the user; I did also get the error in the tx back when he published; and yes, I noticed the dot and removed it. I suppose it was a blockchain.info sync error, because AFAIK, freebitco.in can't get the TXID before it is generated
I've noticed that quickly because I usually have that error whenever I use it. And it's freebitco.in, there really are no problems with them. I doubt it that a case about withdrawal will come up like this but it's not. It's only op has probably worried that he can't see the TXID on the network but he hasn't noticed that there's an excess character which is the dot that he has added to the txid upon searching.
9273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashless gaming now available in land-based casino in USA on: October 30, 2020, 09:40:37 PM
The pandemic has really led a lot of things, adoptions and innovations just like this topic that you've brought op. The need for cashless system in a casino is needed to avoid contact with the virus through paper money. They can operate again even without bringing cash on their pockets as long as they have wallets ready. This could also open to the possibility of adopting bitcoin into their payment methods, I hope that they will start to adopt it soon.

As long as people only use the casino card, they can minimize contact with the virus through paper money. They can wear gloves while they are in the public area, so they don't have to touch it by their hand directly. To adopt bitcoin to their payment methods, I think it will need more time to happen because the casino needs many things before they can implement the payment using bitcoin or other coins. If the casino can implement it, I think it will have more options to gamble instead of just using the card.
I also don't understand if establishments like casino are thinking of the contact through plain cash, why they just don't wear the gloves? I have this thought in my mind but anyway, safety is safety and it's the most important to most physical casinos and other establishments that don't have any other option of payment but with cash. 9274  Economy / Gambling / Re: primedice and stake dont show you your profit stats, it is a form of scam on: October 30, 2020, 08:45:17 PM
Hiding stats doesn't literally mean that they are a scam. Scamming means that they're taking money from you without anything in return. But in the case of hiding the stats but you can even ask them to get that info, that's not a scam. You have the option to do so but if they don't give you an option to know those stats, you sure will be pissed off by that. You, as a customer or probably a loyal user of that casino, they will hear your concern not unless they are firm with their decision and there must be some internal reasons why they do that. Stunna/Micro, they've been around here for a long time and respected by most people that knew them because they are real to their business. Your concern is a form of dissatisfaction from the change that they've made but they have given you the solution by asking them.
9275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on DeFi on Bitcoin Network? on: October 30, 2020, 07:53:44 PM
I don't think that's a good idea. Just stay on Ethereum or any altcoin blockchain that they can use for another Defi product. Defis are good as it is today, nothing more nothing less.

IMO it is nothing more than trying to use the name of Bitcoin to fish money from retail investors.
They'll use the name of bitcoin again to milk the investors, whether they will serve that it's a secured network or so. But nothing new just like those forks that made through bitcoin.
9276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why now? Are these wallets hacked? on: October 29, 2020, 11:20:32 PM
The owner is simply moving those coins to another personal wallet or an exchange.
Expect something as transferring of huge amounts when the market's bullish. Not that new incident and you probably have missed those bigger transfers before than you have said.
9277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I need BTC - Will pay using paypal - only trusted user contact on: October 29, 2020, 09:53:34 PM
Marketplace (Altcoins) is not the perfect place for this deal. Currency exchange(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0) is where you mostly see this type of trade. There are trusted people there that are fine to deal through PayPal. It's good that you have set that standard already, just look for the right one and indicate how much you'll be needing. You can post to their threads too if necessary.

9279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin reach $20k fee will be huge? on: October 29, 2020, 08:35:52 PM
I don't think the fees will rise too high. This will still be a great deal.
During 2017, fees were high because of the network spam and a lot of unconfirmed transactions were made. We have segwit now and fees were reduced, thanks to it. I'm expecting that fees are about to increase if we go back to $20k but it's not going to be that high anymore IMO.
The explanations about the network and unconfirmed txs are the main reason for it. If we see $20k and the unconfirmed txs aren't that much, expect fees to be lower and if not, vice versa.
9280  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: October 29, 2020, 03:41:18 PM
What's with the discussion about bitsler could cancel their license? Bitsler won't do that anytime they want. They've built their reputation for a very long time and they're now considered as one of the most trustworthy casino. For that matter, I didn't even thought of it. I don't know how it ended to have that thought about cancellation of their license anytime. In fact, it's at the bottom of the site and the license is indicated.
