9301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Football Gambling System: A Betting Experiment on: February 27, 2021, 09:13:06 AM
we have different types of martingale and martingale can also be applied in smaller odds but with bigger base bets because they are easily winnable and your win will be small if you dont up your starting bets.
You can decide to not look at the odds and always bet on a particular outcome having a target profit in your mind. For example, you make it your goal to make a profit of $10 (or whatever) on Nijmegen every time they play and win. But for this strategy, you need an even bigger bankroll than with the Martingale I experimented with because the odds will be low from time to time. You need to keep increasing your stake also considering the losses you made in the previous matchdays.
9302  Other / Meta / Re: Is it impossible to level me up? The Merit questions of member guy on: February 26, 2021, 12:40:29 PM
I am not sure what OP expects will happen to be honest. As lovesmayfamilis pointed out, this thread is the only post he made since 2018 and he hasn't contributed anything else to the forum.

@Dread
How do you expect to rank up if you aren't active on the forum and you have no posts that appear anywhere in the recent 3 years? Users merit new posts they can see and that they find useful. No one will look for members who were active 3 years ago to see what they wrote in 2018. Start taking part in the discussions and things might change.
9303  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Minimizing bitcoin transaction fee on: February 26, 2021, 10:15:49 AM
Thanks for the correction, all changed.
We still have one instance of o-e-l-e-o transacting with Alice and Bob. We should ask o-e-l-e-o how he knows those two. Hopefully those are not connected accounts somehow. Grin

Okay, let us assume that Bob received 1BTC from Alice in a single transaction from compressed legacy address to compressed legacy address, and o-e-l-e-o wants to send the whole 1BTC to 10 addresses,

Nice and insightful piece you wrote there. Especially the parts detailing the input/output sizes. I never liked making such calculations myself, so I appreciate it when others do.

Regarding input consolidations, it's good to mention that the best time to perform consolidations is during the weekend when the fees are generally lower. But during bull runs, even that is not often the case.

Thank you very much for the warning. I've always used VPN before.
There are a few things you need to consider when using VPN.

First of all, does the platform allow its users to use VPN? Some casinos allow it, but most don't. Here, you will have to talk with their customer support or read their TOS and other documentation to find out. If you are allowed to use VPN, there is another possible problem. If you use a free VPN service or one that has a huge amount of users, but with limited servers, it might look like you are using multiple accounts. 5 people using the same IP on a casino can look like it's the same player using multiple accounts. Since multi-accounting is not allowed, you could be subjected to KYC or have your accounts blocked.

The second thing to consider is why are you using VPN in the first place. Is it to stay anonymous and protect your privacy, or as a workaround for the geographical restrictions to gain access to the casino? Most people use VPN for the latter.
9305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Football Gambling System: A Betting Experiment on: February 26, 2021, 09:35:28 AM
Just take a look at the OP, the system he is using is without a doubt interesting and it has a lot of potential and yet according to him he missed eight bets in a row with one team and in many cases that could be enough to wipe out a newbie that doesn't know how to administer his bankroll.
And that is just for one team. I made the experiment with 4 teams. Imagine if the other teams had losing streaks lasting a few weeks as well during the same period? That could well be 15-20 lost matches in a row.

I had a slightly different system, every time I lost, I doubled the bet amount. But I bet on a different sport. And this system is good enough.
In terms of winning probability, both systems are similar if there can be 1 out of 3 possible outcomes of the match.
9306  Other / Meta / Re: Should all scam busting techniques be made public? on: February 26, 2021, 09:23:38 AM
it is not at all good to generalize that most or even a significant amount of people studying about a scan accusation and how they were caught will use those methods with a loop hole to plot something evil.
Of course they do. Scammers study and think of new ways to scam people taking into consideration the results of their previous scams. They change their methods and adopt new strategies when the old ones get discovered and made public, or are no longer working as expected.

Instead, revealing these info will give a strict warning to all future scammers that no matter what you do, eventually your scams will be exposed.
I doubt they fear that. If they get exposed, they'll switch to a new account or just continue to use the one they already have because scams are not moderated and scammers don't get banned.

If I see that all actions of some accounts look like a fraud, what is wrong if their history is checked?
There is nothing wrong with that, and you should do it if you want. But the mistakes the scammers did, don't have to be pointed out for them to learn and improve for next time. And there will be a next time. It's not like they will give up.

The forum does not prohibit this, and shouldn't it be called a privacy violation? Where is she private here?
Everything posted on this forum is public and it's not a violation to look at it.
9307  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Ledger Debit Card coming in 2021?! on: February 26, 2021, 09:08:43 AM
2021 is going to be a big year for all of us, same time next year we will be presenting you with a secret project that we are currently developing.

Lets wait and see on what are the thing they are preparing for this year.
They have made hints that they are working on introducing an additional security measure on top of the recovery phrase. A new layer of security if you want. These data leaks and the scam/phishing mails that followed resulted in many Ledger users losing their crypto because they entered their recovery phrases in fake apps. They are working on something that would keep user funds safe, even if someone gets his hands on the seed phrase. Passphrases already exist, so it's not that. Probably some sort of shared custody code that Ledger might or might not have access to.

You can take a look at the supported assets of each wallet on the links below if the information is up to date:
https://trustwallet.com/assets
https://guarda.com/coins/
https://www.exodus.com/desktop/

Sending via the Tron network is the cheapest, yes. There shouldn't be any transaction fees over Tron.
I can see that USDT is available as a TRC-20 token when clicking on Add tokens > Tron > USDT. The information on their website is probably not updated yet. Just to be sure, you can check with the Coinomi support > https://coinomi.freshdesk.com/support/home.

I don't think any of these multi-coin wallets are open-sourced. From the top of my head, I can't remember a single one that is.
Yes, you need the underlying asset if you send USDT tokens via that network. Ether is needed for the Ethereum network fees, bitcoin over Omni, and tron for the Tron network.

evo nije trebalo ni dvije stranice na tvojoj originalnoj temi da se počnu javljati padobranci koji su odušeljeveni da imaš sistem sa kojim stalno pobjeđuješ a treba ti samo 3 dolara Smiley
A šta ćeš. Čak u prvoj rečenici piše da je eksperiment i da nisam ništa ulagao već samo računao kako bi to moglo izgledati da jesam. Zar si mislio da bi moglo biti drugčije? Grin

Is Coinomi still the best non-erc20 multi-crypto wallet out there or is it out of date and now there is newer better/tech trends than Coinomi and if so what are they?
The best wallet is a subjective and personal opinion. You can still use Coinomi or try Trust Wallet, Guarda, or Exodus as multi-coin options.

Any decentralized non-erc20 multi-crypto wallets out there that support loads of non-erc20 cryptos? Is coinomi centralized?
We don't refer to wallets as centralized or decentralized. Wallets are custodial or non-custodial. A custodial wallet controls the private keys, whereas non-custodial wallets allow users to access their private keys. Trust Wallet supports ether and ERC-20 tokens. Guarda as well, but I don't know if Exodus does. Check their official website.

How do you deposit USDT in Coinomi and are fees cheaper via OmniLayer USDT or Ethereum USDT?
You click on add tokens, select the blockchain you want (Ethereum, Omni, or Tron), enter USDT in the search field, and follow the rest of the steps.

Does coinomi support Tron USDT?
Yes, check the answer above on how to add USDT as a TRC-20 token.

What is this Meta-Mask?
It's a web wallet and interface similar to MyEtherWallet that supports ether, ERC-10, and ERC-20 tokens.

Basically whats the best decentralized non-erc20 multi-currency wallet out there that supports loads of non-erc20 cryptos?
I mentioned three wallets that you can try above.

3. Good wallet should support segwit addresses, otherwise you will waste funds paying high fee if using legacy wallets that do not support segwit.
More precisely, exchanges, casinos, and other crypto platforms need to offer withdrawal support for Native SegWit addresses (bech32). Most services already support Nested SegWit, but Native SegWit allows users to save even more on transaction fees.

These two sources offer a nice overview of wallets and exchanges that fully support Native SegWit addresses. The only problem is that they are probably not updated regularly.

9314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help me to recover wallet.dat with 0.2btc (0.1btc reward) on: February 25, 2021, 11:50:14 AM
Nobody is going to accept or download files from newbie users which can be infected by malware. If you need help, I suggest that should be done in public. I would suggest you the same thing. Don't send personal files, recovery phrases, or private keys to someone over PM who offers to help. For everyone's safety, things like this should be done in public.

What kind of dictionary are you talking about? How many entries are there and why don't you try these combinations yourself?
9315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How can your funds be safe???????????????????????????? on: February 25, 2021, 11:44:38 AM
The seed generation process and transaction signing can all be done offline. You don't need internet connection for that. That is how cold storage options work. You can try it for yourself. Download Electrum, disconnect your internet cable or turn off WIFI, open the app, and you will see that you can set up a new wallet and generate a seed without being connected to the Internet.

If you feat that Electrum and other wallets keep copies of the seeds they hand over to their users, you can be rest assured that such a malpractice would have been discovered by now. Electrum is completely open-source and everyone (including you and me) can download and inspect the entire codebase to see what is happening.
9316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Football Gambling System: A Betting Experiment on: February 25, 2021, 11:12:38 AM
Sometimes it pays off and there are times where it could quickly burn your bankroll.
You are completely right. If you take a look at the losing streak I had with Sochaux with 8 missed bets in a row, that might be enough for many players to lose their entire bank. The risk to reward ratio was huge though, and the $700 bet turned into a $2.000 payout. But there was no certainty of that happening, and the chances were equally big that the team would lose the next 8 matches.

I was happy to read your post that you wont be collecting personal data for deposits and withdrawals, but your TOS claims otherwise. If KYC wont be asked during deposits and withdrawals, can you give us examples of when and why you might use it? I am interested because you don't have a gambling license. Did I understand correctly that I have the right to refuse submitting my personal data to you? If so, what happens with my funds and my winnings?

My second question is about "user contributions". What exactly is that? You state that it might be shared on the site publicly or with third parties.
9318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't be used for transactions? on: February 24, 2021, 12:33:42 PM
If you do a lot of business via international bank transfers, you will notice how bitcoin is cheaper even in today's congested state of the market. Bitcoin has no international borders, bank transfers do. Bitcoin fees aren't related to the amount you send, bank transfers are. Learn how the total fees change depending on how many UTXOs you are dealing with, like Lucius mentioned, consolidate when the fees are low, and you will notice a change. It's not perfect and it is not fast, but it works.

I receive money from international clients 2 times a month. My local bank doesn't have a direct connection (via bank accounts) to the bank the senders use. All transactions go through a 2nd intermediary bank. That intermediary bank takes €12-15 as routing fee + my bank takes 1% of each incoming transaction. Count those two together, I am losing €25-60 in fees per transaction. Now multiply that by 2 (for 2 transactions each month). Each transaction takes takes 2-3 days to reach my account.

If you think bitcoin isn't doing good, have fun dealing with banks.
9319  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: bitcoin address with capital letters on: February 24, 2021, 10:11:45 AM
Legacy and Nested SegWit addresses are case sensitive so you have to copy/paste those the way they are generated. You will see both uppercase and lowercase characters in those types of addresses.

Native SegWit addresses are different and are not case sensitive. They can either have all characters as uppercase or all characters as lowercase. You can't have a Native SegWit address with mixed uppercase and lowercase characters. I am pretty sure I remembered this correctly, but someone will chip in if I didn't.
9320  Other / Meta / Re: Is it impossible to level me up? The Merit questions of member guy on: February 24, 2021, 10:02:02 AM
tk808 applied as a merit source for the altcoin boards a few years ago. I don't see an official announcement that he was appointed, but judging by the total amount of merits he has sent (over 2000 sent while earning only 600), I would say he is a merit source. You can try to get his attention, but I would be careful how you do that. Begging for merits can get your account tagged. But it should be fine asking questions and asking someone to take a look at your posts, and decide whether they are merit-worthy or not.
