9341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite Bitcoin SPORTSBOOK / CASINO? on: November 23, 2017, 10:41:29 AM
Well, there are many to choose from. Different people have different preferences.

I'm guessing OP is looking for what I've been dying to find..the most all around well established sports book that deals in BTC (or other crypto).
Sooo many things weed out the majority of them.  Is casino legally licensed?  What are mins, max bets, what are min and max withdraws, what sports are offered, customer service 24/7..or even good at all? on and on.

And how is that not Nitrogen Sports?  They offer the best odds and have proven to be the most trusted sports betting site.

And do Bitcoin gambling sites have to be licensed?  I'm aware that that it makes them more trustworthy, but it won't really stop them from stealing our money if that was really their intent.

Btw, licenses are a joke.  Read up on the Fulltilt Poker scam.
9342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 23, 2017, 10:36:23 AM
Arda Turan, who will surely leave Barcelona, has been asked both from Galatasaray and from Monaco.

Guardiola asked for January Rihah Mahrez of Leicester to reinforce his already strong team.

Ozil could return to Schalke 04.

Coach Everton: Marco Silva is the favorite but also Van Gaal is among the candidates

I would prefer to see Pep buy one CB and a Fernandinho replacement.  Not sure but could Gundongan play that role, wherein he drops back and reinforce the defense while the fullbacks go forward?

Everton is a trap.  If Marco Silva wants to go forward, go to Arsenal or the Spurs when Wenger and Poch leave.  I think they will within 3 years imo.
9343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting Discussion Thread on: November 22, 2017, 11:59:45 AM

@tokeweed Ten bucks you're on, but is it only if our pick wins #1 or as long as pick finishes higher? How about we just remember this sidebet and no need for escrow and all that? End of season, you remind me or I remind you. I'll let you have first pick =)

Booked.  And yup, whoever finishes higher wins.  I pick LFCBitcoin!  I think he's starting to have the momentum to open up a nice gap by February.  Not unless I just jinxed it.  Lol.  Cheesy

But yeah...  Go LFCBitcoin you bastard!  Let's win this.
9344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: November 22, 2017, 11:51:54 AM
As per my prediction, Sevilla vs Liverpool ended with a draw. I admite that my prediction is almost missed but the Liverpool defense showed their identity in the second half. Conceded 3 goals even 1 last goal printed in the last minute. Liverpool just get Istanbulled and Sevilla is being Liverpool 2OO5.
It is really amazing that Skysports pundit Gary Neville predicted that the game was going to end in a draw even though Liverpool were leading by three goals to nil.Once again their defensive frailties was brought to bare and I am hoping that Jurgen Klopp makes it his priority to tackle their defensive problems during the January transfer window.

Wait...  Gary Neville predicted that during the game when Liverpool was three goals up?  He must really hate Liverpool then.  Lol.

And this used to also happen to Klopp at Dortmund.  They play at such a high intensity that sometimes they fade by the second half due to fatigue.
9345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: November 21, 2017, 11:24:33 AM
Kinda like the Juve (at home) +0 at 2.10 vs Barca available on Nitrogen.  But due to a recent string of losses, I think I would be better off saving my coins and avoid any bets for now.

Can't stand losing again and tilt during a game.  Lol.
9346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Differences of the 2013 - 2014 Era and Now in Altcoins on: November 21, 2017, 10:54:40 AM
Yup that's true as well, but if you noticed the '2013 - 2014 crap holders' were a lot smarter than the ICO chasers we have today.  Judging by how they make their posts, there are lots of people who simply don't care if you read their posts or not nowadays.  They just make stupid posts and don't care to argue.

During the 2013 - 2014 era, it was all arguments and debate all day, and you also got the trolls who did it like it was an art form.  Good times.
9347  Economy / Services / Re: BitDice Casino Signature Campaign [WILL START 1 DECEMBER] on: November 21, 2017, 06:30:56 AM
I see the payment just coming in.  Thanks Box and Alex!  Smiley

Satoshi had no idea what he was really doing as far as the cap is concerned.  He might just be picking numbers in his head and might have thought that a 21m cap might have been a good idea.  IMHO.
9349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting Discussion Thread on: November 20, 2017, 09:56:43 AM
Ok seriously, the top three, aka the 'bastards', are very close in points.  Anyone outside 'the bastards' wanna do a side bet on who wins the whole this betting pool?  It doesn't have to be .01 BTC.  We can bet small for fun, maybe 10 bucks worth of BTC?
9350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Differences of the 2013 - 2014 Era and Now in Altcoins on: November 20, 2017, 07:38:35 AM
The big difference is at least there was actual code uploaded and released on Github.  These days it's only a white paper and they piggy back their tokens in buggy platforms like Ethereum.  And the funny part is they get millions in funding.  Did the community just got a lot more stupid?
9351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is best ICO right now to invest or participate in its bounty campaign ??? on: November 20, 2017, 07:21:11 AM
If all an ICO has is a white paper then don't be scammed in spending one cent for any of their tokens.  They have nothing until they have a platform running even if its still in beta.  I think the years 2018 to 2020 will be the era of failures for these projects.  Be sure to exit.

Trading them is another matter.
9352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Differences of the 2013 - 2014 Era and Now in Altcoins on: November 20, 2017, 07:11:43 AM
Crickets?  Lol.

I wasn't expecting no reaction as the reaction.  It shows that the people in the altcoin sub these days don't care for the quality behind a project anymore.  This sub used to be a lot smarter than it is now.  What happened?
9353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Cryptopia gems will moon in 2018? on: November 19, 2017, 12:12:06 PM
Sumo has the tech. It´s an improved version of Monero, only monero fork i´m concerned (see the price of any zcash fork as reference) with inside team, and a roadmap. Super cheap.

Lol.  I'm curious how that's an 'improved version of Monero'.  I don't know anything about Sumo but I bet their developers forked the code, made small modifications (changing the words Monero to Sumo most likely) and then began with its own genesis block.

Other than that I can't think of anything.  But it would be nice to know what 'improvements' were made.

Hey guys, just sharing this nice interview with Jared Tate of Digibyte made by Chris de Rose.  Before you watch it, let me tell you that de Rose was one of the earlier Bitcoiners who were quick to call and prove (to a point) an altcoin project a scam.  He did a good job imo, but now it seems he's more open to some of the altcoins that are actually trying to build something.

Enjoy.  Smiley

9355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 121: Werdum vs. Tybura Info and Betting Thread on: November 19, 2017, 10:50:52 AM
Yup, but what did you expect...  These are filler events before the bigger ones.  There's one more next week with the main bout between Bisping and Gastelum.  Lol.  Then on we go to UFC 218 with the Holloway vs Aldo rematch.

Here are the results for this event.  Werdum says he deserves another challenge for the belt.  Nope, don't think so.  He needs to fight the winner of the Overeem vs Ngannou match first before he gets his shot imho.

Looks like StephanCurry is gonna get another perfect score.  It's 2 - 0 now.

How do you it Stephan?  C'mon, share your secret.  Grin

Edit:  And cicciobtc made the same prediction too.  How do you guys do it?

I went for Arsenal 2-1 Tottenham - I need Tottenham to score, plenty of time left though Smiley

If this 2-1 comes in then you will also be a bastard. In fact, I might just refer to anyone above me in points as "The Bastards"  Grin (no offence intended).

Do any of you guys ever bet on correct scores? I personally don't but it might be worth trying if you get a few perfect scores every week.

Lol.  Then you're all bastards.  Grin

I wonder at what place I would be if I just followed my original plan of copying Lawro's predictions and adding minor changes of my own.  I think I'd be in the top 5 easy imo.

9357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 19, 2017, 09:54:13 AM
If Liverpool qualifies for next season's Champion's League, then they would have an easier time to acquire him.  I really doubt a player of his calibre will be going to an EPL club without CL football.  He'll be better off at the Spurs if Poch loses Alli.

I think Arsenal are coming after him too.

I hope Pochettino leaves Tottenham, they were kind of crap before he went there. Surely bigger clubs will be after Pochettino. I wonder how long Kane will stay too, he could probably start for most teams in Europe atm.
Maybe he will be loyal to them though, I don’t know.

You won't like Poch to leave the Spurs, I assure you.  You know why?  Because he's surely going to Man United, that's why.  Us being Man City and Liverpool fans won't like it.  But I think it would be a fun challenge for Pep, and make the EPL more interesting.

9359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Prices: The Uptrend is “Contagious” on: November 18, 2017, 12:42:20 PM
Coins that shows an uptrend are the one who gets an organic increase of price and not by those pump and dump groups who just feed themselves. Ripple (XRP) is one of those gainers whos price increased in the last 24 hours because of their recent announcement that Amex that they tied up with Ripple for Blockchain payments. BCC or Bitcoin Cash is one of those losers who slowly losing its ground day by day after being pumped in an attempt to dethrone Bitcoin.

XRP's price rise was also an obvious pump due to that news.  It went down and back under .00003 BTC a day after the pump.

And don't hate on Bcash too much.  Instead, try to make some BTC from its movements.  I think there's still some potential profit making moves left.
9360  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin UP BitCoinCash DOWN on: November 18, 2017, 11:03:51 AM
Wait...  Didn't Bcash go thru a contentious hard fork of its own?  It's not being talked about a lot in the forum but on Twitter you got guys like Whalepanda laughing their asses off calling the fork 'Bcash Clashic'.  Lol.  I wonder how that came about.  It's hilarious.

And it would be funny if iamTom123 makes a meme of Roger Ver with this:

There was a hard fork with some minor grumbling about implementation details, but nobody continued to mine on the old rule set.  So the rules forked, but the chain didn't.  Exactly how things should have been done all along.  But we have too many vested interests trying to divide and conquer this community, and too many gullible sheep who buy into it.

Oh...  So everything's good then.  But what's the difference between the old rule set and the new one?  I heard that it had something to do with the EDA, not sure.
