It reinforces my belief that this league is totally unpredictable, congratulations to the guys who did catch a correct score.

Well that's just football for you. Even sometimes giants like Barca can get beat by a shit team but the unpredictability is the fun of it. It would be boring if the big top 1/2/3 teams won it every year. The year Leicester won the PL was the best season I can remember and the most excited I've even been to watch it unfold even though I don't support them but they achieved the impossible.

If this 2-1 comes in then you will also be a bastard. In fact, I might just refer to anyone above me in points as "The Bastards"   (no offence intended).

Do any of you guys ever bet on correct scores? I personally don't but it might be worth trying if you get a few perfect scores every week.

I've been referring to you Top 5-8 guys as bastards for a very long time now =p Of course, all good natured.

I think anyone above somebody else can be referred to as a 'bastard' but the top five are definitely "The Bastards" haha. They're just too good that it's annoying never being able to catch them.

I hit two perfect score for this week, 80, 2 - 0 points and the rest 10 points...  

Are you making your own predictions now or using some other tipster? If the latter is true please tell us who because you've climbed up the table pretty rapidly haha.  

I wonder at what place I would be if I just followed my original plan of copying Lawro's predictions and adding minor changes of my own.  I think I'd be in the top 5 easy imo.

Lawro currently has 970 points so many of us including me are doing better than him, though he is a good source to consider and I always weigh up his picks with mine.

I thought I would have over 100 or 0 but I ended up the week with 7 correct results and 70 points so far. The two remaining games are not of a special interest for the Premier league but to us they can change positions in the standings.

I also unfortunately 70 points without any exact result.

70 points is actually a good average score I think. You could get another 40 on today's game and 110 is a very good score.

@hilarious I had last night's at a 2-1 home victory, so whoever got the draw outcome at least bagged 10 points. What's annoying it to get more than your current average weekly score and still not climb a single position! I am pretty happy that Liverpool gave me two 3-0s in 2 matches finally. I suppose 2 out of 12 exact scores is fair return.

@tokeweed Ten bucks you're on, but is it only if our pick wins #1 or as long as pick finishes higher? How about we just remember this sidebet and no need for escrow and all that? End of season, you remind me or I remind you. I'll let you have first pick =)

Actually I am comparing some of the predictions and weigh if they really has a point with their explanations...  Looks like I am lucky this past weeks, I've been scoring higher than before... If I hit another 120 this week, I will have a 4 digit score(I really wish)...

It finished 2-0 so they just got the ten points. I usually do 3-fold accumulators. Skybet usually have good ones with enhanced odds every weekend and nine times out of ten I put them on. Actually in a lot of profit just from doing them alone. Today's is Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool. Was 2/1 but enhanced to 4/1. Very good chance of coming in but there can always be surprises.

This accumulator came in a charm last week. Skybet's this week is Man U, Spurs and Watford at 6/1. Man U are playing brighton and Spurs are playing West Brom so they'll have no trouble but Watford are away to Newcastle so I can't see them wining. A draw maybe more likely so I might cover myself with the Spurs and United win and the draw and Newcastle win on another two accumulators (or just for one and include the draw).

Same for me. Feels good to be a bastard  . I didn't even know the game was on last night and thought it was today's early kick off so was a nice surprise. I think there will be a few draws or fairly close games today: Newcastle vs Watford, Palace vs Stoke and Swansea vs Bournemouth.
