The OP is just posting an update without not responding any questions posted here. That's not how you run a business dude. Or, the questions are too hard to answer?

Why doesn't Chad put information on his LinkedIn profile about your project: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chadarimura/ if he is your CEO?
9342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin more worth than other cryptocurrencies that have better specs? on: August 10, 2018, 03:10:00 AM
One of the main reasons why Bitcoin has more worth than any other cryptocurrencies is because it has the proven track record to secure hundreds of billions of dollars ($269 billion as of Dec. Cool without getting it lost to theft or accident.
-snip-

While the Bitcoin network isn't hacked yet, but a cracker can steal it by hacking an exchange, which has happened many times since MT.Gox incident. I don't really see any direct correlation between the highest market cap on the market with the price of BTC.

Beacuase it's an older coin widely accepted by many people over the world. But it may be changes as people start using other coins.Like Monero on dark web. Where BTC volume reduce and Monero volume increased.

Define "many"? I don't think even 1% of people in this world (that is, around 60 million) use Bitcoin. Even the number of users of Bitcointalk is only around ~2 million. Bitcoin is not yet adopted by many. On the other hand, looks like blockchain will have a bright future because mass-adoption is currently on-going.
9343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just received 8,9 ETH from an address that has them till GENESIS 1100 days back! on: August 10, 2018, 02:55:21 AM
I have literally no idea what happened, who is behind that account that has the ETH till Genesis? Am I just super lucky to receive these ETH?

Searching for the one who controls that address is meaningless, he doesn't post that address on the Internet and I doubt he would disclose that information. You're just super lucky I guess.

-snip-
I would agree with that opinion, but he had these ETH till 1100 days back, and he started distributing yesterday? Also most of the other transactions, continued automatically to Binance or Bitfinex, most of them in the same time, in a matter of an hour. Something's happening here.

He probably holds it and waits for the right time to sell his ETH, or he just simply forgot that he has 1000 ETH on that address. Every scenario is possible and nobody knows the answer. OP is so lucky.
9344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Frozen account on Poloniex on: August 09, 2018, 01:53:21 PM
My VERIFIED account was frozen on Poloniex without any explanation. Wrote in the support - no answer for 12 days. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

The best thing you can do is to contact Poloniex directly because nobody will ever know the exact reason why your account was frozen. Have you tried to email them? Asking on their official social media? Anything like that?
9345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alternatives to Coinmarketcap on: August 09, 2018, 12:08:47 PM
Another alternative is CoinCodex (https://coincodex.com). I use it regularly alongside with Coingecko because they're quite fast to access. Honestly, I just use those site to check the latest price of assets that I have.

Btw, I just know about Coindance from your post, that's a nice site.

- Ekyfitri has been tagged by The Pharmacist because he's abusing bounty with alts before (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2544574.msg34068747#msg34068747).
- bucker steemit got 20 merits from yolanda222 and Ekyfitri just before he joins IOU sig campaign for a post that IMHO doesn't deserve to be merited that many.

Any reason why you put me in Full Member spot? I'm a Senior Member and my merit is more than 270.
I'll update my sig asap.

I'll update my sig asap.

Let him finish the spreadsheet before doing any complain or what so ever. As I can see your not even changing your signature space.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just updated my sig (avatar is not yet changed) and zapo has fixed the spreadsheet.

Accepted, thought you were hero for a second.  Smiley Please change signature!

Changed! Just waiting for the avatar to get updated.
9348  Other / Meta / Re: [List] Suspected users that are abusing merit 3.0 on: August 09, 2018, 10:38:58 AM
Until yesterday, Full Member bucker steemit had not earned a single Merit.
Yesterday, he applied to a signature campaign that requires him to earn 20 Merit. Just 25 minutes later, he received 10 Merit for this post, and 4 minutes later another 10 Merit for this post. A few minutes later he updated his post to confirm: "Merit Count: 120". It took him 33 minutes in total to reach the Merit requirements.
Bot accounts that sent him Merit have red trust already.

The same thing happens with Real14Hero. He gets instant 45 merits just for posting his services thread that was created just yesterday from stingers who has -16 trust.

@OP it seems your data is way out of date, I'm already a senior member now :/
Are you collecting the data manually by yourself or do you use tools like BPIP or Bitcointalk Merit Dashboard?

Nevertheless, good work.

80 dollars for 30 (!) Posts for Sr.member? Do you consider this sufficient? Sr.member usually earns such money for 10 posts. Come, look at the prices in the bounty themes. In any case, I do not intend to argue any more.

It's their right to decide how much money they can afford to pay their participants, and judging that they posted it, I can say they consider it sufficient. If people don't like it, they don't have to join the campaign.

A weekly campaign paid with BTC and those signature campaign paid with tokens that are created out of thin air in bounties section are different in nature. So it's your choice.
9351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF .. do we really need it? on: August 09, 2018, 05:58:37 AM
If we're talking about the effect of Bitcoin ETF on Bitcoin prices, I think we 'need' Bitcoin ETF to create a positive sentiment, just like the previous CBOE Futures. Bitcoin ETF news is so central right now to create market sentiment, even dozens of positive news like blockchain adoption and others don't push Bitcoin price. It's pretty weird, it seems like whatever happens in the US decide the future of Bitcoin prices.

9354  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [LIST] Rekam Jejak Translator Indonesia on: August 08, 2018, 03:38:02 AM

I think there is another problem. Some users who have smerit doesn't care about others. This is clearly evident in my local section. Most of the time the mods are the one who gives merits to members, and after that, it stopped. They save their smerit
I don't merit posts because I care about the people posting, I merit them because I care about the forum. I've just merited your post, but I don't know you, so why would I care about you as a person? But, you made a valid point and a decent post. By rewarding that, I help improve the forum.
Meriting people you care for could easily become merit abuse.
I think it's safe to say most users don't really care for the forum, other than using it as an ATM.

I think you misunderstood what I mean by "care". What I really wanted to say is that even though there are a lot of good posts, most of the time they just read it and don't give a damn about meriting those posts. Another problem that I just realized recently is they're afraid of merit abuse accusations because the members who deserved merits at the moment are limited (probably around ~60). Basically, it is impossible to avoid reciprocal merits in my local section IMHO. Which is why Indonesian members rely on their mods to get some merits as they're the only sources at the moment.

-snip-
You don't see threads here offering merit for sale, but I've heard it happens off-site, and we've certainly seen threads naming merit sellers and traders here, so I know it's happening.

I saw them in Telegram group for bounty hunters, many times. Sometimes I got a pm asking to trade merit for money, or asking to give them some smerit that I have to help them rank up. They're seriously sick.

Can I ask you, why your description of zk-Snarks in the whitepaper looks like it was plagiarized from zcash website?
Quote
Sidera implements a novel form of zero-knowledge cryptography. The strong privacy guarantee of Sidera is derived from the fact that shielded transactions in Sidera can be fully encrypted on the blockchain, yet still be verified as valid under the network’s consensus rules by using zk-SNARK proofs.

The acronym zk-SNARK stands for “Zero-Knowledge Succinct Non-Interactive Argument of Knowledge,” and refers to a proof construction where one can prove possession of certain information, e.g. a secret key, without revealing that information, and without any interaction between the prover and verifier.

I guess a lot of us also think the same. We need more merit sources to make the whole system decentralized. Somewhere I have seen someone proposed an initial target is to have 200 sources and then gradually the number can be increased.

I think there is another problem. Some users who have smerit doesn't care about others. This is clearly evident in my local section. Most of the time the mods are the one who gives merits to members, and after that, it stopped. They save their smerit, probably to start their own merits giveaway thread. Or, there is no more good post to be awarded from their POV.
