I like the fact that transactions are anonymous and irreversible, but that's also the problem with bitcoin. No one can really tell who stole your bitcoins (if it gets stolen) and you can't really get it back except when you have the private key/if it's given back. For it's not and anonymous because people can see your wallet, and seemed to publish your financial to common people. because bitcoin is decentralized it's can make difficult to take a step, if you getting crime activities to your wallet. |

I'd say aprox a quarter of whats stopping people from using Bitcoin is the media made conception that Bitcoin is associated with criminal activity.
There are actually a lot of reasons stopping people from using bitcoin but you are right, that is a big reason in some places where media is working dawn to dusk to kill the positive concept of bitcoin from the minds of people, and the people who were never aware about it are believing it with blind eyes without doing their own research about bitcoin. Well I am pretty sure that media is controlled by the government. They want to take it down rather than accepting or adapt it. This currency is free and they dont want any people to be free. Democracy is a joke it is just a reason for government to steal from people. Yeah freedom of stealing. Yes indeed possible in some countries prohibit crypto like bitcoin for violating the rules. It is going to make bitcoin difficult to develop. But I believe bitcoin will evolve and users are still using bitcoin. People would always worry about the price of bitcoin, so I think one of major reasons to stop use bitcoin are the price. Would you still use bitcoin if the price down to $5 and it's stuck there where you have bought $100k at $400 ? I believe more than half of bitcoin users have struck with this reason as they might had bought around $1000. Bitcoin price becomes the main reason but has some reason can support the main reason and make people who are getting a strong to leaving from bitcoin, or maybe they ever deceived. |

He is a rat bastard and he must have stolen the master list somehow. All I know is I am not comfortable having the key to my millions of $$ right on the internet on a very convenient site that anyone can use to look it up. This pisses me off. yes i do. although earning bitcoin is not my first plan of income but it is one of them and also the only plan i have for online earning. and i am already earning some from signature campaign and trading. Kids can maybe earn it with just playing games or something, I must say its pretty hard to find something that you can let them enjoy and learn(earn).
I think the game will also give lessons indirectly to a child. would be great if the game was to use strategy to win of course it would be highly recommended. and kids can also earn bitcoin of that game. you have a game like this? show me I will tell my niece  but it needs to choose the game at first because a lot a game have a different knowledge. Some game will contain a bad knowledge like violence and etc. It's why to choose a game it's important. |

This is a welcome development for Paypal and Bitcoin users. Now it is easy to use and transact bitcoin as it is backup by this big company.Im expecting additional popularity of bitcoin and it will attract more follower and supporter.
I don't think Coinbase would allow a 1:1 withdrawal via PayPal and I'm still waiting for some more information on this. If they would need us to verify our account, it would be same like Virwox and we already have read about delays in Coinbase deposits and withdrawals. Hope everything goes well. I waiting too, I hopeful with this. maybe be patience for next time and we can see more information about this news. But if easily to buy bitcoin using PayPal and difficult to buying PayPal amount with bitcoin I think I will not be interested with this. |

Is Xaurum a good alternative? I don't like coins other than Bitcoin, but Xaurum seems like a good coin. I can't believe the price, too. It's 476$ right now! The coin is 34. On the marketcap rankings. It has a pretty small supply though, 7. 487 coins. The supply is small and the market cap is little above 3 million dollars. I can't believe the price.
I haven't tried it yet. What do you guys think? Did any of you try it yet?

Now that the dao and ethereum have taken a serious knockback after what looked like almost a crypto takeover who do you all think the new kid on the block is going to be? Whos mining what and what coin do you see as having the biggest potential?
It seems to me that for now the only coin worth having is bitcoin, Any other coins out there that aren't shitcoins?
Etherium and DAO get them the normal situation for now but I'm interested with EDRC coin, the value is better than Waves or LSK well I think this coin have a good future. |

yes i'm holding my bitcoin. Although with different reason why I'm holding it, my bitcoin balance isn't sufficience to withdraw to my bank account need more bitcoin.
I think if you had the bitcoins its best to save it for the time being. Halving is nearby and we are already experiencing the increase in the price. For that you need to hold the bitcoins, I can say that i am holding for a price increase because failed to sell at higher price. Another fact is that if i receive a good offer i would sell immediately. But for the moment only collecting as the bitcoin price has been decreased too much this month. late to sell your bitcoin or you left behind when the price of bitcoin is high, I feel this, always pass the moment if bitcoin getting a high price. and just to wait for it until now. |

i think presently it is not the global currency of the earth becasue so many people do not know any thing about it. but it is look like that in future it may be the global currency of the world.
Very few people across the globe are aware about the bitcoin and that doesn't make it global currency, but things may change in future when it will be widely used and accepted. If people say that bitcoin is a global currency now, I think they are saying wrong. Many countries in the world are not known about this currency. If a a country using bitcoin, than only a few people of it are using bitcoin. If this currency is to become global, then it should be spread out widely. More they known about it, more they become interested in it. Only internet is not only a source of awareness about bitcoins, I think it should be started at higher level.  You are right about the thing that we cannot claim bitcoin a global currency as it is not used globally. But it is used online globally and there is no restrictions of boundaries. We can't claim if bitcoin is a global currency because in my region a lot of people doesn't know about bitcoin, for online globally maybe some little people is still unfamiliar with bitcoin. |

I am earning good number of coins and that has made life better and much happier then before as bitcoin has added value to my earnings now I don't have to hesitate in buying anything as I am earning more then earlier.
Definitely Yes!! I have a big earning as of today by bitcoins. Bitcoins helped me a lot after I my day job, this is like my primary earning source. I can pay my monthly bills, daily needs and also doing savings using Bitcoins. I can not afford to loose it because of the impacts of bitcoin's essentials in my life. the problem with lumens is that if its needed just to transfer/change the money, there is no need for it to rise...

Let the Kids be Kids, we aren't supposed to interfere with it, someday they could learn things with our assistance in due time.  I agree a bit, kids should not be pressurize to earn money because pushing them to earning money might be bad for them, its their childhood and let them enjoy it please. Pushing will create troubles. Kids should definitely not be pressured into doing anything they don't want to, and earning money is no exception. They can be rewarded for doing their chores or whatever, and then have that for use, but they shouldn't have to go and look for a job or anything. I personally think it could lead to them despising their work as a child and subsequently in the future, and it's a bad choice that could make them lose their work ethic and despise working. Why would anyone want the kids to be working on bitcoin faucets and earning money. No parents wants this. Also this is against the labour law in most of the countries if you hire children for any work including bitcoin faucets. There are no parents is want their children to be working and earn money If this intention is pure the child's intention I think better to comply with their intention. |

Teaching someone about the bitcoin is not a easy task and I think if you really want to do this we should just think good about the explaining.
The best thing is to start with the advantages of the bitcoin itself to attract them.
Will not be really easy if the person you are teaching have no background in online jobs and specially with a computer and internet. But if he or she at least have 1 of those then it will be an easy task to do It's happening in my environment, Very difficult to tell someone with a lack of their knowledge about technology and the internet. needed hard work to teach them, success or not it relies on their knowledge. |
