How much you want to bet if I posted a NSFW image the post would be deleted immediately.

Tycho, do you think you will ever get back over 5000 Gh/s like you were before the big multi pool DDoS? I can see ASIC's helping you with that very soon. BTW: When are you going to implement Stratum like eleuthria did?
Yes, I'm thinking about implementing some new protocol soon, but at this moment standard getwork is more than enough.
Also I don't think that hashrate drop was caused by DDoS.

No, not directly caused by it but I watched users fail to connect for a couple of days and never return in the same quantity. I think you lost people at that time because most people are lazy. If they are forced to configure a failover pool or mine at a smaller pool they will. That incident just made them do the configuration and 1500-2000 Gh/s never returned.

Because all the lightweights will be pushed out of mining leaving only serious investors. No longer will teenagers be able to participate using the cool graphics cards mommy and daddy bought them for Christmas.

Once profit is gonne, serious investors will be gonne as well. Once that inevitably happens, retards like you will cry hard because of thousands
teenagers who were left behind. Actualy, since retards never get it, you'll probably lose all your Bitcoins as well, and wonder how it all happened.

You know, the only people I’ve ever met in life that make a point by verbally abusing someone are always gutless and completely lacking insight. They have never been worth talking to because their logic is always flawed. I think I’ll just ignore you.

The problem with that is they will still eventually need to convert it back to fiat. They will come under AML laws at that time and Gox will serve them up on a plate. They will continue to be plagued by the same problems that plague all profitable illegal enterprises – washing the money.

Last month, a federal grand jury indicted 14 people "associated with a chain of nine marijuana stores" in Orange and Los Angeles counties on federal drug trafficking charges. The indictment included tax evasion and weapons charges.

(Discussing the new Colorado law) Whether the federal government allows that to happen is "a billion dollar question," Kamin said.
"Every store that sells marijuana here is violating federal law," he said. "The federal government could come in and seize assets. They could charge people criminally. They could send people to jail for scores of years. They have chosen, so far, not to do that."

Satoshi is a Japanese name for boys meaning clear-thinking.

He probably clearly understood the impending ramifications of his brainchild and wanted no part of it. Creation is itself very rewarding. There will eventually be a war waged against cryptocurrency by standing leadership worldwide and it will be a messy one. It seems to me Satoshi was thinking clearly indeed.

It’s frightening that a so called civil society has creatures that walk around spouting nonsense like that. Oh well, the most efficient thing the US Military does is breed lunatics.

notice the "Harrison:" at the beginning of the paragarph.

that is a cut and paste of the gchat conversion.

My previous comment was
me: ok, so I'm going to post all your dox and chats so everyone knows you are a scammer

and that was his reply.

Ok, got it. So, he doesn't seem like a very friendly scammer then. He seems more like an armed robber. Not your usual Bitcoin pickpocket.

Derek,

Did you pay rebuyente back yet.  You and your brothers are both scammers.  And Harrison is probably going to go to jail when the police read  the threat of physical violence he made against me in email.  That is a felony.  Look it up.

I don't care where he got this from.  You are both trained mix marshal arts fighters and I am in fear of my life and of the health and well being of my family.

Harrison: What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I'm the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You're fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You're fucking dead, kiddo.

Are you saying that to him or is that what he said to you? It's hard to tell.

Post what the problem is and use the "Report to moderator" link at the bottom right hand corner of your own post. If you’re lucky you won't get a trigger happy mod like Moonshadow or Tysat that just deletes your post. They will read it and get back to you.

Hello everybody in this forum.I am a online surfer. I have found this forum as a very important and useful in online earning learning. I am trying to do something in internet world. I expect helping hand from site.
thanks

Helping hand as in lending you bitcoins?

Maybe “helping hand" as in how do you use the system. It doesn’t have to be negative although history proves the opposite to be true most of the time.

Jesus Bruno, now you’re playing in the Newbie’s forum! What's the latest on Bitcoin100? Have you or Rassah found a suitable charity yet?

On Topic , take your meds and get to work:

I can confirm it took me about 30 hours to first synch the Bitcoin-Qt client. Transactions that took place 2 days have just appeared in the client and everything is hunky-dory now Smiley I agree somewhat with OP about the barriers to using bitcoin, there's some hoops at the moment, but seeing the news from Wordpress, I'm hopeful that it starts a rise in BTC adoption!

No one should be using the Qt client anymore. Try this one - it's much easier. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=40264.0

The only children mining will be the ones that can convince mommy and daddy to buy them this thing they have never heard of and don't really understand.
